Toilet stopped working during my stay and they didn’t send anyone to fix it after multiple requests

The room was overall clean-ish. The couch was obviously stained and the room was very out of date. Sliding door barely opened and the view was literally a parking lot. We just needed a bed to sleep in for a few hours so we could drive home the next morning but I would not stay here again.

Reserved 2 queen beds, on arrival was informed all they had was a king with a sofa bed. He made no attempt to remedy the situation. I asked why I wasn't contacted before my arrival. He said, "I don't know." Floor, dresser and desk were slanted/awkward

Exceptional

It was decent and fairly clean, but the main downside was the parking fee. You could either pay a small discount price by adding the number of days you’ll be there or pay each time you drove out of the parking lot.

Carpet in the entire hotel was filthy, mold in restroom, the room smelled damp/humid, pillows were horrible, the indoor pool chlorine smell burned your eyes just walking near it, the fruit infused water in lobby tasted like old lemon peels, extremely overpriced lobby snacks, parking hard to find/lot always full

The property is really dirty. The hallway smells really bad like old and musky. Hallway rugs are extremely dirty. AC in the room makes noise. Balcony is super dirty, full of web cobs. Shower was dirty and no hot water at night. The room at night is Hot the AC did not turn on for a couple of hours.

Room was fine but there was some need for cle in break area. Popcorn machine needed attention and there was no coffee or tea made. Overall it was pleasant.

Also when I went to get a shower and moved the curtain a wash towel from the previous guest fell from the rod. Staff nice, the bed was very comfortable but we had a terrible night.

Car was broken into, plus 3 others with no security around the area. But the seafood restaurant next door has security.

There was no hot water for the shower and the manager didn’t acknowledge the inconvenience, offer an apology or even suggest that another room might be available for a shower. It was the morning and instead the veracity of my claim was questioned. She then stated upper management would be in contact with me, but that never happened. Those who are not conscious of the customer’s experience have no business being in the hospitality field.

Hotel was nice. Unfortunately parked cars were broken into overnight. Very sad to see lots of bokeh windows.

Would not recommend. The hotel needs major updates. The tub would not drain. Carpets were terribly stained. Questionable smells throughout. Only has an analog tv in the room.

It was extremely rundown. Carpet looked like it needed a shampooing like 5 years ago. Definitely paid too much to stay there. Doubt I’ll ever stay at another Marriott again.

This hotel is old and in desperate need of updates. Not at all what I expect from the Courtyard by Marriot brand. It's old and dirty, and the first morning wee woke up and had to kill a roach walking on our ceiling. If budget is your main concern, go ahead, as it is passable - despite the pest concerns. But if you're expectations are higher, then I'd move on. Also, having to pay for parking in this area seems ridiculous and a transparent grab for extra money. I would not stay here again.

It was very quiet. Not a lot of noise from other guests and didn’t hear any freeway noise in the room. The whole place is a little run down. The bistro is unimpressive. Nearly $16 for a breakfast burrito and the Starbucks products are laughable. Could use some lattes.

They charged me a smoking fee and I don’t even smoke.l I have stayed with them 16 times in the last year and never had an issue before. When I called to ask about the fee said I would receive a call from management but never did.

This hotel is very dated and in desperate need of some updating. It is in a very nice and convenient location but there were definitely issues. My room smelled of cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room and there was hair stuck on the ceiling of the shower and the bathroom itself. The door of the balcony had a large handprint indicating it was not cleaned after the most recent occupant. The outlets on the nightstand were very flimsy and the couch was very awkwardly shaped and almost impractical. The walls had repairs on them with paint of a different color and it was just not an aesthetically pleasing experience. The bed was comfortable but the pillows lacked any support. Onto the good, the staff was friendly and the location was okay and it was close to the airport. I did ask two different staff members about needing a shuttle to the airport very early in the morning and neither put that request in. It didn't take long to get one and my trip was unaffected by it but it would be nice if I could count on them to be reliable. I would not like to return to this hotel.

The building seems older and the ac unit in our room rattled….didn't notice until 1 am when we were trying to get sleep. Integration of what you pay for on Orbitz and what translates to your reservation could be better. Breakfast is “a la carte” and expensive. Was not good, and so many good options around the hotel that would be better.

The room and bathroom was very small and not too comfortable and also the indoor pool wasn’t well maintained and slightly dirty. Average stay for $150 a night and parking is not free either unless you pay extra via Expedia to get free parking.

Room was clean, but a little updating wouldn’t hurt! Was good for a weekend stay.

We did not eat on site so I can not comment on the food. Overall we love to stay here and we always try to get a room with a balcony because it is nice for sit outside and get fresh are without having to leave the room.

We had to wait for both rooms to be ready, we had to wait about 3.5 hours total and we had to share a room until the other room was ready. Additionally, the room I was in the AC was not working properly and it got really hot in the middle of the night. When we checked out, there was no one to talk to and let them know of the issues.

Checked in for two double queen rooms and they gave us two king rooms. Big inconvenience. Rooms are not near one another. Staff was not helpful.

I started staying at this location years ago because it’s conveniently located minutes from the airport but the last 5 years or so I enjoy staying here because of the staff. They are so friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable, it’s like staying with family.

Hotel was good, everything is dated. TVs are small and only have limited cable channels. Both the soap and conditioner were empty in the shower, yet they leave a card asking for a tip for the cleaning service. They also charge you to park, which seems like money grab to me since they have a parking lot that is hidden and right in front of the hotel.

We we're greated right away. The hotel is clean and our room is spacious. The bed is the best part of our stay, so comfortable. We can't wait to come back.

Very good for the money. Very nice restaurants near by and spacious room. But, as soon as we walked in the room it smelled ‘dusty’ the toilet did not work. We used the toilet downstairs. No available maintenance staff. We were disappointed.

This is a clearly older building and it shows. I had 3 rooms in the 3 days I was there. First room was fine except the second night water started leaking in from the room above. (It will have been the best room of the 3.) I got moved to another room around midnight. Except the other room was smaller than what I paid for and missing amenities I had specifically chosen my room for but since it was midnight and I was exhausted wait until morning. Woke up and took a look around and the floor was sloped towards the bed. Not reassuring. Went to make a sandwich for breakfast and apparently the fridge was frozen over with a huge chunk of ice. So let them know and also asked for another room with the amentities I had paid for. They got me moved into the third room. The AC in the 3rd room took forever to cool the room and was pretty loud. But at that point i only had one night left so I just dealt with it. The location was near the airport which is one of the reasons I chose it. I don't not recommend it but definitely check everything in your specific room before settling in.

Needs a bit of updating

What was unique with the property was that it has balconies off of the rooms. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The beds are comfortable. My only complaint would be that the door to the balcony was very hard to open but other than that everything was very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a late checkin and Michael (I think that was his name) made check in a breeze after a long day of traveling. We sure did appreciate all of his assistance. We will be staying here again for sure.

The property management needs to set guidelines for traveling sports teams and ask that they respect other guests. The sports team on our first night was very well mannered … no problem. The noise of kids running in the hallways and slamming doors was constant on the second night of our stay. We ended u checking out a day early, as a result.

The rooms did not provide sound resistance. When people were walking and talking in the hallways-I could hear everything they said. They gave me an adjoining room. The man on the other side was on his phone. He was in an argument with his spouse. He was yelling and hitting something. I didn’t feel safe. I asked for a different room. The staff happily accommodated. All the staff was friendly-except one man. (Manager apparently) someone smoke alarm was going off in a room down the hall. Non stop. I went and reported it and asked if someone could check it out. I went back to my room and started packing up stuff in case we had to evacuate. After 5 minutes I went back down to ask why he hasn’t been up to check it out yet. He was making an omelette for a guest! I said to him are you serious right now? A smoke alarm has been going off non stop and you think making an omelette is more important? He finally goes upstairs and uses his keys to enter that room, without knocking. To his surprise there was someone in there. Crazy situation. He just had to reset the alarm and it finally stopped. Corporate said the reason he finished the omelette is because he knew it was just a faulty alarm and nobody was in there. Well that’s untrue. Clearly. Seems like they are trying to cover for him. The rest of the staff was so friendly. Room was clean. Bed was higher up than normal. I had to jump up to get in. I’m 5’4”. It was comfy but tall.

My truck was broken into in the middle of the parking lot as we’re many others, if we cannot feel like our vehicles are safe than we are definitely going to be staying at the locations that ensure this type of security.

Are sheets had brown stuff on them and we had to change rooms but overall it was nice.

This location needs major remodeling work. Carpet and restrooms were gross, the smell was terrible in the first room they gave us and they switched us over to another which smell wasn’t as bad but nonetheless still pretty bad for what we paid. The cherry on top was getting woken up by extremely loud fire alarm at 1am and not getting back into our rooms til after 2am and to top it off not getting any answers/communication from employees.

On our way home from North Texas. Needed to pull in and rest. We stayed here before. The beds are amazing and the bathrooms are super clean on top of the hotel. Staff extremely nice will stay again one in the vicinity really enjoyed the restaurants within walking

La localisation est vraiment pratique. Il y a des fruits et du café de courtoisie. Les restaurants à coté, le centre commercial et bien entendu la distance à l'aeroport sont un avantage. Ca depanne, mais ce n est pas ce à quoi je m'attends d'un Marriot.

I booked rooms for family reunion. When family arrived checked in went to their room a few of them rooms smelled of mold and mildew and couldn’t stay there due to health issues. Front desk accommodation them with another room with was better and some just went and got another hotel to stay. This hotel needs a full make over. My family was disappointed and had to spend more money to stay in San Antonio to be comfortable. Thanks

Great service! The room was clean and smelled clean. The location of the hotel is close to a lot of places to eat. We stayed there because we had to catch a flight early in the morning. It was a short drive to the airport.

I absolutely love this location and the people that work here. The rooms are always clean and the employees are welcoming. The area itself is quiet as the hotel is tucked in off the highway. Thank you

So close to the airport. Clean, really nice bed and decor in room. Gave us a snack bag when we checked in. There was ice water, juice and coffee available also.

not the nicest bathrooms in the rooms - feels like an older property - but GREAT staff. Stacey at the front desk overnight talked me in when my plane arrived at 2 AM - she sent an Uber to get me and bring me to hotel (this is their standard after hours shuttle service) and was terrific. my shuttle driver this AM was the handywoman/service manager and she was super friendly and courteous. keep your peeps, give em all a raise!

The smell of the room was bad because of the high humidity. The room was very humid.The carpet outside the room looked like it needes a good steam cleaning. Also, the hotel had advertised free breakfast but that did not happen. The only free breakfast was a banana. It seems like the restaurant has been converted to a Starbucks. The price I paid for this hotel ($126 a night plus tax) was not a good value. Not going back to this Courtyard.
