The hotel was a place to stay while our son graduated BMT. Not great and not terrible. I wouldn't hang out in there when we had breaks. We were never given a WIFI password but we also didn't ask. We were in a room that could hear everything in the room next door. But the room was clean and had a nice bed to sleep on.
- 4/5
Fan in bathroom was too loud. Bathroom sink in main room, no privacy or door to that area, when you walk in the room, the bathroom sink is righ there, layout not great. not much of a view outside, we kept the shades closed. pool is small and in an area where everyone walking down the halls to their rooms can see the pool from above, awkward.
- 3.5/5
Those well fine. When we arrived the receptionist was not friendly at all. If you are there at least one hour early with a baby, we should have been able to check in without paying extra, that was wrong! We had to wait until 3 to check in , we wer driving 18 hours with a baby, please change that policy, allow your guess to check in early without extra pay.
- 3.5/5
The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was in very close proximity to the Lackland Airforce Base. It was quiet. The pictures on the internet depicted a much nicer hotel than reality. The neighboring area didn't appear to be safe although we didn't have any issues with safety.

Passable
- 3/5
Everyone we encountered was welcoming, kind, and provided excellent customer service, which we really appreciated while we were in town for my son’s BMT graduation. The location was also incredibly convenient for getting to and from the base. The biggest downside was the condition of the hotel itself, particularly the rooms. They are very outdated and in need of renovations and better maintenance. Our bathtub was leaking, several appliances and fixtures were rusted, and the room did not feel as clean or well kept as we would have liked. Some of that may have been because everything is older and worn, but it still took away from the overall experience.

We stayed here for my daughter’s BMT graduation. Clean and felt safe. Everyone else there was basically there for the same reason. Chose it because it’s within 2 miles of the base gates. Waffles in the shape of Texas. Tasty, too.

The best aspect is the location, which is very close to Lackland Air Force Base.

Staff were very friendly! Just didn’t care for San Antonio!

Small bathroom. There was a cockroach on the entrance door when I was going to do the checkout!! The location is close to Lackland base and the staff "prepares" you for your visit to the base. They tell you at what time you should leave and they give you a bag with snacks and water!! Staff were friendly!! The staff was chatting with me before the check in because I contacted them to let them know that I lost my connection flight and will arrive later, they held the room for me and provided an "upgrade" on the room.
- 2/5
I liked the area, it was nice and close to base There was a dead cockroach and other bugs in the room and when house keeping came they did not clean them up
- 4/5
Very friendly staff, breakfast was good,it was amazing how they treated family's there for air force graduation, they even made snack bags for people that left before breakfast,
- 3.5/5
It was close to Sea World It wasn't well maintained. Not very clean.. They don't clean the rooms everyday. The bathroom was super tiny.
- 3/5
The room was clean, the tv was going out and that was quickly replaced but the Wi-Fi honestly was flat out awful. I only had 1 bar of services through AT&T and the Wi-Fi wasn’t strong enough to watch anything on my iPad while the tv was out. The Wi-Fi honestly shouldn’t even be offered because it’s a joke and doesn’t work

Great room staff and location
- 4/5
The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean when I first arrived. However, during my entire stay, my room was never cleaned, which was disappointing. I did appreciate the hotel’s proximity to the Air Force Base—perfect location for the graduation. Overall, everything was good except for the lack of housekeeping. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Perfect place to stay if your visiting the base.

I know what you're thinking: "What a great price!" Trust me, spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. The rooms are extremely outdated and poorly maintained. Broken light fixtures, cracked toilets, and other signs of neglect were everywhere. It's clear this property hasn't seen much investment in a long time. And the "free breakfast"? Only if you're prepared to audition for The Hunger Games. It was absolute chaos. Guests were literally pushing people out of line just to get to the food. In all my years of traveling, I've never seen such aggressive competition over powdered scrambled eggs and hockey-puck sausage patties.Between the condition of the rooms and the breakfast experience, I can't recommend staying here. The low price isn't worth the frustration.
- 4/5
The property was in a good location for what I needed to be in San Antonio for, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The property is rundown. I was very disappointed because the pictures that are used to advertise were not an accurate description of the property.
- 3/5
This hotel was chosen based on price. I read the reviews but a lot was not mentioned. Check in went well for 2 rooms, however one of the rooms needed more sheets due to being dirty. In that same room it was blood stains on the curtain. Housekeeping was called and they changed the sheets. Secondly, the toilets in the rooms appear to resemble daycare center toilets, small and low to the ground, very uncomfortable. Third, there was no ice machine working that we found. The pool was dirty and cloudy for our 2 day stay. Probably too much chlorine. The room next to ours had kids that were totally out of control even with the parents. Screamed constantly. Other than that the a/c was great and the bed were comfortable. Nice to have a fridge and microwave. The breakfast was decent. The surrounding location was ok. Not too far from things.

Staff was very helpful & respectful.

Dirty, run down rooms. Broken parking gates. Bare bones breakfast with no utensils. Go somewhere else.
- 5/5
I enjoyed everything about this place. The staff were friendly, helpful, clean place/ rooms perfectly well arranged to accomodate anyone, breastfast was served on time and their juices were super great. Quite place facilitating excellent relaxation and refreshing body and mind. A definate place to stay around San Antonio.
- 2/5
Mold in shower, ice machine broke, stains on sheets, stains on towels. This place needs a better maintenance program!
- 3/5
The room was nice but average. The part I didn’t like is that it is summer and the pool wasn’t clean. Algae growing on the walls and debris in the pool. Hot tub was about the same.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful with anything and everything I needed help with breakfast was really good cool had a good amount of space and good chairs around to sit
- 5/5
The customer service was great as well as the location.

Clean room staff was friendly breakfast we didn’t take advantage of it
- 3/5
The front desk staff were extremely nice!! The hotel was run down and not in the best area. My room was very old, the tub was peeling I had to put a towel down in the tub to stand on to shower. The pool area looked nice, I didn’t go in to use it. If you’re looking for a place close to the base, this was pretty close but not the typical cleanliness or upkeep that I usually expect.

Hotel was good overall
- 3/5
Not so good . The house keeping it doesn’t show
- 4/5
Staff very friendly, Fair Breakfast, clean room, Free Parking BUT There was a part on one of the hallways that had a bad odor & not enough space in the restroom
- 3/5
I like the location near the graduation place
- 4/5
Rooney cleaning/service should be done everyday not once in three days.
- 4/5
Me gustó la atención de los empleados . Muy amables muy buen desayuno . La limpieza no es muy buena y los muebles están súper deteriorados así como el elevador el piso está muy malo .
- 3/5
It wasn’t terrible dirty but it could be cleaner. Small flying bugs in the room I’m assuming from the pipes. The breakfast area floor has been neglected and was supper sticky. So was the elevator floor. Very thin walls and so many loud people. For a place to sleep for one night it was good for that. Beds are also loud and not very comfortable. Also mystery grease stain on head board
- 3/5
building needs more up keep or a remodel
- 5/5
Our room was in the back and it was pretty quiet. The room was clean. Staff was superb.
- 2/5
The room was beat up looking. Furniture had nicks all over, bathroom sink was cracked, light broken, stains on walls, and on our last day we had no hot water or water pressure.

Great place and love the support of the military and their families. Would 100% stay their when my next child goes through BMT!
- 5/5

- 4/5
It was nice and quiet with not too much issues or problems
- 4/5
We stayed for my son’s graduation at Lackland AF Base and the hotel had grab & go breakfast ready for us one of the days which was nice.
- 3/5
Property was okay.
- 2/5
Many reasons to tell you to stay somewhere else!
- 5/5
The stay was good and the room is very neat.
- 5/5
The hotel has a great location for SeaWorld, however the pool area could use some updates and while we there the smoke alarm went off for about an hour. But was resolved.
- 3/5
It’s a knarly motel. It is what it is. The pool is kinda swampy. The sun never hits the pool so it’s cold. Hot tub jets don’t work but it is hot. The first 3 rules of the pool have to do with defecating in or around it so it makes you think they’ve had problems before. It no better or worse than most motels outside a military installation. You CAN get to the gate quickly from it.
- 4/5
hotel was okay for a 1 night stay. Area was not the best, pool looked very nice and restrooms in lobby clean. no charge for parking which was a plus. room bathroom was a bit small
- 3/5
The cost was high for poor quality
- 3/5
Rooms were slightly updated but the bathroom needs to be redone. Outside of the building is failing

If you are visiting San Antonio for a BMT graduation, the location is convenient . The staff is helpful and the rooms are clean , otherwise the hotel is very outdated and the breakfast is awful .
- 5/5
Great place to stay if you need to be close to Lackland AFB! Super comfortable and clean stay with friendly staff. Was safe too!
- 2/5
Pool and hot tub disgusting. Fixtures in room were rusting. Light fixture cover missing. Floor and bedding nasty. No top comforter. Room was humid even after adjusting thermostat. Bed sheet had a hole in it. Pillows were flat. Workers were not friendly or helpful. Heard other customers complaining. Fence in parking lot was broke and leaning over. Gates to parking lot bent and broken. Extremely dissatisfied. I wouldn’t even consider eating breakfast, oh cereal containers were empty. Don’t stay here!

Hotel confirmed I would have an ajoining room with my son and granddaughter to assist with her care. When I arrived, we found we were on opposite sides of the hotel. This was frustrating because I stayed in touch with the hotel to confirm.
- 5/5
The breakfast was decent, however, there was no bathroom door…it is in a pretty sketchy side of town…like I didn’t feel safe to go out to my car by myself at night and neither did my husband. Both the pool and hot tub were green and dirty looking. I won’t stay at this hotel again.especially for the price we had to pay.
- 2/5
I wouldn’t stay here again unless I had no other options.
- 2/5
Very basic. Difficult checking in. Difficult getting service. The location is okay, but not that convenient to get on base.
- 2/5
Room cleaning, non existent on a 4 day stay. No vanity in bathrooms. I’m sure it was nice in 1990.
- 3/5
Rooms are nice and spacious, but our bathroom wasn’t very clean. Staff is nice. Breakfast is a nice touch.
- 2/5
breakfast was ok
- 2/5
Did not like the location?
- 4/5
Close to base, need some TLC on property.
- 5/5
The breakfast was good and fresh. The rooms was clean, the workers was great. The only problem I had in my room was the microwave didn’t work or my refrigerator. But when I told them they came right away and took care of it without and attitude. I love the stay because it was like 4 minutes maybe to the Air Force Base. My son will be there til August so I will be coming back to stay there
- 4/5
The employees were very attentive to our needs when needed.
- 5/5
A great place to stay in San Antonio.
- 3/5
ONCE I ARRIVED SAM AT FRONT DESK WAS VERY HELPFUL. THEN I WALKED INTO MY ROOM AND I SEEN MY TOILET SEAT HAD URINE STAINS. I QUICKLY WENT DOWN STAIRS AND NOTIFY SAM AND HE SEND HOUSKEEPER TO CLEAN ONCE AGAIN. THE POOL WAS GREEN AND THE HOT TUB, THE PERSON WHO IS IN CHARGE SHOULD MAKE THE POOL AREA A LITTLE BIT MORE APPEALING. OTHERWISE THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE EVEN THOUGH WE ONLY STAY 1 NIGHT. BUT SAM IS A GREAT PERSON AND ON IT.

This was a great choice close to Lackland AFB. I will be recommending it to others. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. My only real issue with the hotel was that the bathroom was always wet. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so the floor never dried completely and the towels never dried completely. There was no mold though. So it was just an inconvenience.
- 3/5
No running water
- 2/5
Mold spots in the shower, dust spots above the bed and rust on the table lamps. There was no iron in the room, they sent me back to check after telling them. Went back to say no its not there, they gave me one they grabbed from behind the counter took it to the room and it didnt work. I took it back to the front they said they would bring one to my room. 10 hours later and the next day I had no iron into the next day. I went to front desk to where staff responded as if I was bothering her and not telling the truth. She gave me an iron but the water cover was broken which leaked on my clothes. I was given only one wash cloth in the bathroom and the wall light had no cover on it which was super bright and blinding. I paid $35 extra to check in early which was at 1:30pm in which I feel was a waste of money. I initially didnt stay my second night, I put my access key in the express checkout box because no one was at the front desk as I waited and even rang the bell.
- 3/5
Staff was very kind but the condition of the room and the pool was very poor.
- 3/5
This place was ok to stay in for 1 night. Wifi was down and so it took a long time to get checked in. Our room had silverfish bugs and was overall very worn.
- 4/5
My room was quite clean and staff was always quite responsive and nice. But...there was no blanket on my bed so I had to ask for one. There was no extra toilet paper so I had to ask for some to be sent to room,so had some when I ran out. I would have liked just a plain soap bar for washing my hands. But everything was in containers that you had to figure out how to use located on the shower wall. Television didn't work so called and they came and found it unplugged. Again, though, I would recommend this place just for the kindness of the staff adn cleanliness of the rooms and area. I only ate breakfast there once...it was fine. I was there for my grandson's graduation from basic training at Lackland and had to leave very early in AM. They made a snack bag with a small water since it was before they served breakfast. I thought that was very thoughtful!!
- 4/5
Was perfect for our needs
- 1/5
That morning, they probably cleaned and rented that night. Breakfast was precooked sausage left in a crock pot. Trash in hallway. Someone had thrown chicken bones in the hallway that was there midday when I was there to get something in room and later that night returned and still there. Location was great for going to graduation at Airforce Base.
- 4/5
The breakfast was good and the eating area clean and comfortable. Older facility with friendly accommodating staff.
- 3/5
Breakfast was good wish they served bacon. Although it was fresh and good.
- 3/5
Older building, in need of an update
- 4/5
Was a great place to stay to see my son’s BMT graduation. Close to the base.
- 2/5
Friendly staff, but terrible cleanliness. Every surface was oily and uncleaned, and the bathtub had a major drainage issue.
- 3/5
No broken machine

There was hardly any hot water in the morning, we had to take a cold shower
- 2/5

Was charged for 2 days, when i was there for only 1 . Didnt get my 2 beds and basically told me the king is the same as 2. Overnight staff looked like they were on drugs.

- 4/5
Clean room. Nice pool & hot tub.
- 3/5
The room was in great condition I just wish their pool was open or they’d put that on their site before reserving there
- 5/5
The room was a little on the older side. No issue for me though. Room was clean and smelled fresh. The staff was wonderful! The lady at the front desk was kind and was absolutely amazing. If I ever come back to the San Antonio area i'll definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Clean rooms staff was great near many of other attractions
- 2/5
Overall, not the best area. The pictures don’t really represent the hotels current state; I was expecting a lot better quality.
- 5/5
Room was great very spacious, cleanniess was good will stay again soon.
- 5/5
Its a very acceptable hotel. If you go in with regular expectations then it delivers. The pillows/ bed and sheets are all acceptable. The 2 queen bed room accomadates 4 easily. The tv is large and mounted. The bathroom is alittle interesting of a design, the shower head is waterfall and excellent pressure(though too close to the wall) making it a slightly awkward affair. The breakfast is okay, there's juices, grains (bread bagels) protein(eggs, sausages) good coffee. All in all it was a brief but comfortable stay. My only complaints were mentioned and they are slow to reverse deposits(still waiting on mine)
- 4/5

The staff was really pleasant. The entire process from booking, check in and return of deposit was seamless.
