Our truck was vandalized overnight and the management couldn’t explain what happened, when we went to see what happen we saw two other truck vandalized as well, so if you have a truck better don’t stay over night because it’s not safe

The are was closed to a lot of stores Our room had a really bad smell, went to the front and they said we were going to check our room but they didn’t do nothing about the smell, then they said they were going to move us to a different room and nothing happened.

This is a beautiful property, great price, the staff is the BEST, great breakfast as advertised sausage scrambled eggs today tortillas bagels fruit yogurt waffles and so much more, indoor pool and spa was great too, I will be staying here Everytime I come to the hospital in San Antonio. This is the best value well maintained and excellently managed property. Ten stars That I hadn't found it sooner! I had to kiss a lot of frog properties that promise these things, but comfort suites on vantage way is the true Prince of a property that delivers what they promise and more!

The place was acceptable, but not as impressive as the reviews led me to believe. I initially expected it to be a great place to stay, but it did not meet those expectations. I did not find the property satisfactory. Several maintenance issues need to be addressed, such as the shower water not heating up and the elevators not functioning. We had to use the stairs throughout our stay, which was inconvenient and suggests a lack of management regarding maintenance support.

Breakfast was good bed was very comfortable room was very clean.. the area was in a good location close to places we needed to be .. swimming was fun staff was very friendly The only thing was the elevator was out of order climbing stairs was not very fun

Great location for what we needed. Love the Texas waffles! Non-working elevator but the staff was going above and beyond to accommodate people as best they could.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. The location. Upon arrival, we were confronted by six men in ski masks! The parking is not safe. The sofa bed was terrible. You could feel the springs in your back. The beds were not queen size beds, they were full size and they were extra uncomfortable. They caused so much body aches. The elevators were down.

Clean room good staff need to set better at breakfast

Location The beds were too hard when I sat around the bed I could feel the springs. Especially the sofa bed. The coffee maker that was in the room was full of dust from the inside. The pool was dirty my son didn't want to get in because of a big roach that was inside the pool. My son was exited for the waffles, but he couldn't do at least one because the the waffle mix was so watery. Elevators were not working.

Nice place for a good price. Big room and clean. Good breakfast. And good customer service The door of the restroom the lock was not working or I have with me ku kids. So I was not confortable when using restroom

Elevator was out our rooms were on the second and third floor! Mind you we asked for wheelchair accessibility because my mother-in-law is in a wheelchair and can't walk! But we were never informed before showing up! Then we had to sit there for over an hour waiting for them to decide whether or not they were gonna fix the issue! Finally after more than an hour they gave her a room on the forst floor but it wasn't wheelchair accessible so she had to use the bathroom in the lobby for the 4 days we were there!

The elevator was broken and I was lucky to get a first floor room. Unfortunately it wasn’t very clean or comfortable and was across the hall from the indoor pool, so very noisy, the next day I asked to move and went a little down the hall. That room was clean and comfortable and quieter. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the overall appearance is run down and needs a refresh. The location is off the main highway and a little difficult to get to. There are good restaurants and shopping nearby.

We stayed at this hotel for a week the entire time the elevator was out. Came back the next week and if was still out. Overall staff was friendly.

The staff was very helpful, however they were always short handed. At times it was not unusual to have to wait for 20 or more minutes for someone at the front desk. Be aware the elevators were broken, and it was already 2 weeks broken by the time I checked out. The outside grounds were NOT in good condition. It looked like no yard work had been done in several months. There was a lot of trash in the yard and the parking lot. I will not ever stay her again.

HORRIBLE. Customer service was terrible, we arrived to find the elevator was broken and we were on the 3rd floor, we couldn't get a different hotel because Comfort Suites charged us upfront. The entire hotel was sticky and muggy inside, the room smelled like wet dog, and was humid. Hotel staff was rude and wouldn't even offer a discount for the inconvenience. As someone who is a disabled veteran family, I would never choose this hotel chain again

The elevator was not working and neither was the A/C!

Also a person not associated with the hotel was swimming in it for hours. The parking was limited. A worker truck with large trailer took 8 spaces that should have went to those guest who rented nearby. There are spaces for large vehicles but this person decided to take all the regular spaces. The staff said nothing to this person. Later I saw his crew working on the hotel. So they were hired employees of the hotel, which infuriated me more. The breakfast was disappointing. The eggs were tasteless powder with water. The sausages were cheap pork, mostly fat and grease. So, basically coffee and waffle machine. .The internet is difficult. You need to call tech help for assistance to sign on. Took a long time. No password, so your electronic devices can be hijacked. Plus everyone needing free internet can just park outside taking more limited spaces and slowing the internet down further. I only had 1 bar out of five, so basically, dial up speed. Very very slow internet. Took 5 minutes to get to any website. So basically, no internet. Everything else was standard. Pillows are small and need more stuffing inside. Towels are clean. Showers are clean but no soap. Bring your on body wash or soap. Beds are a little hard but I like hard beds. No bed bugs. Had to change rooms because of cigarette .

The location of the hotel is great. It’s been several years since we have stayed here. The hotel needs some updates as far as standard wear and tear. New carpets, tiling in the restroom. I thinks with the crowd of the summer season they should be better prepared for the breakfast rush as it was late getting it put out. However the breakfast options were good and plentiful.

Elevator was broken, hot tub was cold, pool had too much chlorine. Room was fine and staff was great.

The staff were amazing and helpful my only issue was the maintenance of the building. The building was very old, elevators didn’t work, a lot of the amenities were old and out dated. Also The smell of mildew is very very pungent in the rooms, and the hallways are super humid.

The elevator didn’t work our whole stay and we had problems with the shower as well. However, staff was helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was good.

What you pay is what you get. Elevators not working. But got breakfast a Texas waffle. The place is old and you can see it.

This is the second time I stay at this location. Very clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was great. I have stayed at other hotels based on the amenity's life workout room and pool and been disappointed. But at Comfort Suites everything worked well and the pool was clean. Will be staying again. It is near most of my doctors and has a lot of great stores and restaurants nearby.

Don't appreciate the cash only deposit for locals. Also, getting your period unexpected and getting blood on the sheets will cost you from that deposit which is not fair.

As we entered the building at 2pm & the glass doors were not clean, I knew I had made a bad decision. The carpet wasn’t vacuumed & the lobby furniture was dirty & discusting! No one should sit on those filthy couches! The floors were not mopped! Ok, so check in was smooth. All staff that we encountered were nice. We walk in the room & the couch was dirty & filthy!!! Imagine if you had little kids with you (which we didn’t) but where would they sit? Not on that filth! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The tv, microwave, & fridge worked. The elevator was dirty! The fact that the hotel furniture & floors were so NASTY there was no way we were getting in that pool. I didn’t smell any chlorine, lol! I only picked this place because of the price, & the indoor pool because it’s January. We did feel safe even though they had a HUGE sign on the building saying they are not responsible if your car is damaged or broken into, lmbo!! We usually stay at the Laquinta but they don’t have an indoor pool. The breakfast was a no no for us! The coffee was horrible! The kitchen door was open so I looked inside. Floor was dirty so there was no way I was eating anything!!! So we both rate this property three stars, only because the room was clean despite the old furniture & the bed was comfy. We will never stay here again. But if you’re looking for a cheap place & don’t care about the things I’ve mentioned, book a room, lol. But if you can afford a few more dollars, Laquinta up the road!

The front desk staff were courteous and helpful. The overall hotel and my room were very clean. The hotel was in a convenient but safe location and it was easy to get around by car.

The second room when we entered the pull out side was already pulled out room never been cleaned. And the sofa cushions didn’t have any thing to cover them so it was unusable.

Yes the rooms were clean and booked at a great value price. The hotel has indoor pool and hot tub so that was a plus that my kids were able to swim in December. I stayed for 2 consecutive night and the breakfast was the same options both days. The main hot breakfast they had was scrambled eggs and sausage links and waffles & toast. Maybe add roasted potatoes or hash browns as a breakfast option. Breakfast also include cereal and milk, yogurt, orange & apple juice. Maybe alternate days between options of food choice.

Nice place but got tub was cold.

The girl that checked us in(Cinthia) spelling might be wrong. Was great every time i walked in the door coming or going. Called me by name. Room was ok. HOT tub, was not hot, she said they are working on it. Breakfast was ok. Nice area.

Stayed there for one night. Very friendly staff. Just beware they only have one washer and one dryer available I was traveling across country with child and I needed to do a Load to continue my trip their dryer was horrible. Overall my stay was nice besides that.

Overall, it was a good experience, however, the hotel was booked out for the night and the only room they had, which is the one they gave us, had a non-working TV in the room. There were no maintenance people there to fix it, and the girl at the front desk had only been working there a few weeks and did not know how to fix it herself. To be fair, she tried but she didn't know for what she was doing.They could not.move us to another room, as there were none available.

The staff had double booked my room and only informed me 2-hours before I checked in. I was asked to put a $250 cash deposit down then they'd gave me a new room; when i walked in there was a stain on the comforter and the toilet was not clean. Not only that but housekeeping only came 2x in my 1-week stay. There was a giant roach on the wall when I walked in one day to which the staff said "oh that happens in this weather sometimes". I will say the staff was relatively nice but the condition of this hotel is horrible.

My Expedia account has my single last name and my drivers license and credit cards have my married last name so they gave me hell because of that. I was tired and to be trying to explain to them was just ridiculous.

The property is older so you get what you pay for. There was hair from previous customers in the shower and on the bathroom sink. The pool is inside and it definitely needs cleaning. The grounds could be better maintained. The breakfast is included and that’s a plus. Location is close to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, dining and stores so that’s a plus.

Breakfast needed more. Variety, Eggs were overcooked, More fruit choices for diebetics. Cereal choices were limited!
