The breakfast and the hot tub That I came into a room with no shower curtain, tables were all dirty had to wet a towel with soap and cleaned up spilled red drink on the table along with drink rings on the tables they hadn't been wiped down properly in a long time..also the carpet looked so dirty lots of dark stains as well ..I did love the ladies who checked us in they were great.. I just feel for the price it should have been way better..

The waffles and oj was fine. The bed was comfortable I went there to start celebrating my birthday and the room didn't help! I noticed the grossness of the toilet from that old tub!! The online presentation of the room wasn't what we got!! Totally deceiving and someone made noise all night!!
- 3.5/5
It was nice and clean and the staff was great The pillows were small and went flat when you laid on them

Nothing. Everything was bad. This is in now way a 4-star hotel. Dirty and dated. COCKROACHS! One in the bad and another in the bathroom. I am thinking I will not use booking.com in the future if this is a hotel you are in partnership with. DO NOT subject your customers to this hotel! At least not as a 4-star.
- 0.5/5
The staff was nice There was mold on the walls. It smelled terrible. Wallpaper was peeling. The food wasnt good at all. The description was misleading. You are a long walk from the riverwalk and alamo.

Manager took off to the back and never came back all she leave your address an make me feel like I was a liar . The young man that was working that night was very nice and fell so bad for what was happening and even though he gave us another room I was not able to sleep all night. Nothing

Me and my fiancé and his kids and my godkids and family. The motel was great place the breakfast was great. Mrs. Priscilla was very nice to us and my one year old goddaughter. She wasn’t mean or anything like some of the staff. We would love to come back and visit

The close proximity to the attractions. 1. The room itself had alot of moisture, when I would walk with my socks they would be wet. 2. They do not state upfront that they charge for parking. 3. Rooms are not thoroughly cleaned there were empty liquor bottles behind the TV. 4. The price for the room is NOT what you end up paying. They have charged me three times for service fees. 5. If the service fee was for the times the room was "cleaned" its not correct because the room was only "cleaned" the day before we left.
- 3/5
The room needed some upgrades. Tv system needs a major update, and the screen size is too small. I don’t even think motel 6 carries that size. Wallpaper was peeling off on several walls and the water in shower doesn’t drain, you literally have to be careful when showering because it gets very slippery with the collection of water and soap.
- 4/5
Walking distance to river walk. Only one elevation works. Great pool and hot tub. Breakfast was on point with plenty variety. Parking fair price of $25. Great air conditioners. Front desk helpful. Employees respectfully and helpful. Rooms stalked and beds made while on our outings.
- 1/5
The very bad service we had to wait more than 5 minutes while the lady was sitting at the reception
- 5/5
I’ve stayed there multiple times, never had any issues, helpful staff, good breakfast, cold a/c
- 5/5
Everything was great!

No me gusto que alado hay un bar y la musica estaba muy alta hasta la 3 de la mañna

My family checked in, brought our things into the room to get settled in. I immediately noticed the room had a very odd odor as did my children and husband. I began by pulling out the sofa bed and was mortified when the barely on sheets lifted to show a very stained and torn mattress. My son then used the bathroom and came out and was concerned about the cleanliness of the restroom. The property on the outside did not feel super safe and traveling with children with the unsafe feeling and lack of cleanliness we decided to book a different hotel and were unable to remain there the night much less for our entire stay.
- 4/5
There were many issues with the room however once I brought it up to the staff, they took immediate action to correct the things I brought to their attention. They are in the process of merging with another hotel and will be updating this current place. It’s not in the best neighborhood however the doors all are closed/locked at night securely. It’s about a 13 minute walk to the Riverwalk but I was under the impression it was only a couple blocks. The kitchen staff were very friendly, Anna was our favorite. After the pool was cleaned, it was nice and enjoyable. The hot tub was also nice after they cleaned it. The hotel staff was very friendly also.
- 1/5
Rooms bathroom was leaking n the room just seemed unclean with a weird smell
- 2/5
Not a bad place to stay but if you want to go to sleep before 2 am stay somewhere else on the weekend. The venue/bar next to the hotel blasted music until after 2am and the hotel staff had nothing to say except "you will hear it until 2am." Luckily we had a sound machine that we could try and drown out as much as we could.
- 4/5
Location close to the freeway was convenient
- 5/5
Great place to stay Definitely be staying here again. Great customer service
- 1/5
This hotel is WAYYY outdated and the entire 4th floor was FILTHY. The room was in complete shambles with peeling wallpaper, gross smells, trash left in the room, the entire floor smelled like pee. The TV had multiple channels that were 'Audio Only' and we were told by the front desk agent that the whole hotel was that way! The pool and hot tub are not like the photo at all. People were smoking out there and the hot tub kept turning off. The staff were kind and friendly, but not in the slightest bit helpful. And the homeless population around and right outside of the hotel was absolutely out of control! It is less than a mile from the Riverwalk, but do yourself a favor and pay the extra to stay downtown. The 100$ less per night is not worth it. (I never leave bad reviews. I am just generally very disappointed in this place.) Also, there is a bar right next door that plays music all night with flashing lights outside. Sleeping was not easy. And you have to pay for parking as well! 2/10 recommend.
- 3/5
Over all it was not bad. We only dealt with the night management guy with red beard and he very nice and personable. The 3rd floor and room had strange smell that was almost ammonia smell. The rooms wallpaper was peeling in several spots and the carpet did have a iron burn spot. The bed and everything else seem fine. If you need to stay in this area it was not bad and we felt safe.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay. The staff was great. The breakfast was perfect. Older hotel but still had lots of charm. Would definitely recommend.
- 5/5
What i didn't like the Hot Tub wasn't clean at all even after we mention it to the day supervisor.
- 5/5
Everyone was friendly and helpful. House keeping was prompt and there daily at a certain time; always kind and helpful.
- 2/5
Room was clean, but the AC had trouble keep the room cool. When we checked out, my son had forgot his belt buckle and class ring. They were both in the same spot. When I called the front office to explain my situation, they didn't even bother to ask for my phone number. I had to tell them... do you want my phone number, name, and room number. We decided to go back to the room, and my son saw the maid with his belt buckle going back to the room, but not the class ring. She tried to help us look for it, but that was pointless. I'm assuming it was taken. I am still waiting for a response to see if they found it. Very disappointed
- 3/5
Nice place. Breakfast was great. The outdated tub shower was terrible. Water wouldn’t drain. I won’t stay there again.
- 5/5
Had an amazing stay! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a perfect location. Everything felt easy and comfortable from check‑in to check‑out. Highly recommend.

The Stafford great but the place was rundown. There was chords coming out of the air condition. The carpet was falling apart when you walked on it, you coul
- 5/5
Clean room, shop nearby, the staff was Great
- 3/5
The property was 5 minutes away from my destination. Our bed and TV stands was scratched up and the couch needed to be replaced. Lamps needed to be modern or replace with better lighting. The review were misleading. It was a 2.5 or 3 rating certainly not 4. It was ok. I expected better.
- 5/5
We had a pleasant stay and the staff was very nice.
- 1/5
Room smelled musty and the pull out sofa was broken. My granddaughter got bit by bed bugs. Just plain awful!
- 5/5
Pretty close to downtown and only 15 to park per day. Bed comfortable and hot tub was a nice amenity.
- 4/5
Carpet in rooms and towels too thin.
- 1/5
First when I checked in I was charged for self parking which was not mentioned anywhere beforehand. Since it was late we just wanted to sleep after a long drive. But the air conditioner sounded like a loud lawnmower when the compressor would kick on, no way we could sleep with all that noise. Front desk personnel came to the room and witnessed the noise, maintenance was notified. Isaiah the Maintenance worker was great he replaced the whole air conditioner in around 25 minutes. Even with the loud music from the bar next door we was finally able to go to sleep. The rest of the stay was fair, the only other complaint, there were only one working elevator which made for long waits time's. I would not choose this hotel for ant future trips to San Antonio.
- 2/5
The Hotel was not as before. The room we stayed in was not clean. It seemed that the person that should have cleaned just left some towels there for the next visitor and did not clean the room. Not very pleasant hotel. Will not go there again.
- 3/5
Sheets on bed where not clean ,
- 5/5
Was there with my wife for the weekend of 4.10.26 - 4.11-26. Went to see The Alamo, and explore more areas. The room we stayed in was perfect, no issues whatsoever. In the future, we would love to book a night or nights at this hotel and location.
- 4/5
Parking was easy and we were only minutes away from wherever we wanted to go. As a bonus, a miniature golf course near the pool. We ate our delicious breakfast on the patio. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
Everything was good but needs better lighting in room
- 5/5
Nice and close to downtown.
- 1/5
The bathroom was full of hair from the previous guest. We weren’t able to sleep there was a couple a few rooms from us that was really loud and kept screaming slamming the door all night.
- 4/5
Lighting in the room was terrible and in the bathroom. Our shower still had someone else’s used items in it and the toilet and pee on the seat
- 2/5
CON’S: Dimly lit. Some floors ice machines not working. Clothes washers/dryers all out of order. Two elevators on sight. One elevator was permanently down and the other broke down on two occasions. Wallpaper peeling off the walls and reattached with staples. Sun shade in window is riddled with cuts and holes. Windows are so dirty on the outside, you can hardly see. Locking safe wasn’t operational. Place is basically falling apart. We won’t be back.
- 4/5
Pool lounge chairs were broken. Elevators weren’t working. Washer was also broken.
- 2/5
Elevator didnt work the 2 days we stayed there and rooms could use some upgrade .
- 5/5
Good breakfast buffet, beds were clean, close to shopping although there was a homeless camp outside of our parking area so we did not walk anywhere we drove where we wanted to go.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great. One towel seemed dirty. But overall everything was great.
- 2/5
Room look like it had water damage on the walls. Also had a bunch of broken stuff in there already and sheets look like they were dirty.
- 5/5
We love this hotel !! Has a good breakfast.. very good location near riverwalk.. walking.. very goos customer service .. and very much parking..

Breakfast was excellent!!

Room was not ready when we got there @5pm and they made us wait. They charged $17 for parking!!! Breakfast was really good! staff was friendly!
- 1/5
I asked for a receipt at check out and they said since I booked through Expedia that they would have my receipt. Come to find out the hotel charged my card for the room and said Expedia didn't pay them. Expedia called the hotel and couldn't make them understand the issue. Expedia made it right and helped me out but the hotel got their way. Horrible experience and will never stay there again.
- 5/5
Great deal would recomend stay and would stay again
- 5/5
The parking was easy to find, secure, and plenty of it. The room was clean, the wallpaper was falling from the bathroom but not a big deal. The mattress for the pullout bed was terrible, you could feel every spring.
- 5/5
The staff was very warm and inviting. The lobby was beautifully decorated and smelled of warm cookies that were freshly baked. The breakfast was tasty: eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt and fruit. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The decor was nice but some of the wallpaper was starting to peel. I did notice they were working on a few rooms down the hall so looks like that is being addressed.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Room was very clean ,staff was very helpful, and the parking was very convenient
- 5/5
Staff was out for holiday, but sign said to request reception if anything was needed. Room was clean though.
- 5/5
Ive stayed at this hotel a number of times with family or children and alone with my husband. The staff is kind, the front desk clerk not always but tonight I had a kind gentleman who was soft spoken and well mannered strike a conversation with us. I really enjoy this hotel.
- 5/5
The stay was great. The room was clean and very neat. The staff was amazingly friendly. The location was perfect for what we needed. The hotel was very pretty and clean. The decorations were great. The breakfast was very good.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly, have breakfast buffet ,but they charge for parking why?
- 2/5
Staff was amazing , breakfast delicious , the only downfall was how smelly the hallways was and the room, like it was moldy :( but evruthing else is great
- 5/5
Super great staff the breakfast is amazing very clean. They only thing I really don’t like is that you have to pay for parking because why does the hotel not have free parking for that price of stay?
- 5/5
Love this hotel !! Great breakfast good location near riverwalk
- 5/5
Staff was courteous and very helpful
- 2/5
The girl who checked us in was great. But the whole 3rd floor smelled like urine. We found insoles near under the bed, wallpaper peeling, hair on bathroom floor, and there were ants that ate through the plastic of sealed cookies. The breakfast was decent but otherwise will not be checking in here again.
- 3/5
Blood spots on bed sheets. Wallpaper held up with staples. Homeless camp right next to it.
- 2/5
Staff was excellent but the area is unsafe. Both tail lights from our truck was stolen overnight. Many transient/homeless around.
- 2/5
Tv and remote were terrible. First, you had to stand right in front of tv in order to raise volume or change channel. Second, half of the channels did not work, it kept saying weak signal so you might just hear the audio only or nothing at all.
- 2/5
Hotel room did not match pictures, “covered” parking that is being charged $16.25 per night is under an overpass and has a homeless community under it, and cameras don’t work. The vehicles tail lights were stolen that parked near our truck.
- 4/5
Could be worse

Very comfortable rooms and
- 4/5
Staff were very nice and parking was great!
- 3/5
No shops nearby, had to walk under the highway to get to downtown San Antonio. Didn’t seem safe to walk to hotel at night had to take an uber one night
- 1/5
This place stole money from me twice and then kicked us out because there was more money coming in and they needed the room….0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND! THE NIGHT MANAGER IS A LIAR!!!!! I AM SO UNBELIEVABLY PISSED OFF
- 4/5
Nice place, great staff, sketchy area.
- 5/5
Great staff, clean room
- 4/5
About 15 minute walk to the Alamodome.
- 2/5
The carpet was not vacuumed. The AC would not go below 72 but it was not 72 in the room. It was around 76 and no fan circulation. The ice machines were out of ice. Those things, I can deal with. The thing that was the most concerning - parking. You have to park under the bridge with minimal lighting. Not safe. I would not recommend for a woman alone or especially a mother with children. To top it all off, you have to pay for the unsafe parking. The only positive thing was Jack. He was helpful, apologetic, and tried to do his best to improve my situation. Thank you, Jack.
- 3/5
The hotel was ok. Found out when we checked in that we had to also pay for parking at the hotel.
- 5/5
Very good hotel
- 5/5
The customer service was very helpful
- 5/5
.
- 3/5
Good but full of homeless outside the hotel
- 5/5
Very nice and very clean.
- 2/5
The only positive I can say about my stay is the two front desk ladies were incredibly nice and helpful. Outside of that positive. The room had a very, very heavy mildew smell. To the point that made us coughing and congested. The floor by the ac unit was damp. The TV didnt work for most of our stay. The room was decently cleaned. Unfortunately the room was facing a place that had loud music playing all until 4 am. The Elevators weren't working properly either
- 3/5
The furniture looks very old and worn out.
- 4/5
Great location.
- 2/5
The receptionist remained on the phone the entire registry talking about work drama from the night before. Our toilet clogged and was unusable. No one was able to fix it nor did they have a quality plunger for us to use. Every white surface was clean. But the every non-white surface was covered in grit and chunks. I had to clean it myself before we settled in. The parking lot smelled like urine and trash. The location is great for exploring San Antonio. After getting use to the urine smell outside, it felt safe enough. This is not a deal. It is inexpensive for a reason.
- 3/5
Only issue was the homeless people outside the hotel
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and the people were nice no complaints
- 2/5
Yikes. Just yikes. This is a business case on what happens when a hotel is just a row on some investors spreadsheet who is squeezing the investment for every drop of net income. Avoid! Nice staff though. They were trying at least.
- 4/5
The shower was very old and outdated
- 3/5
The pool was very nice and relaxing The breakfast was good and had alot of options CONS-the room wasnt clean Found old wendys paper behind light Wasnt vaccum in the general area urine still on the toilet when you put the lid down The room stunk realllllllyyyyyyy bad (had to buy a deodorizer) Our room key deactivated every day
- 5/5
Excellent staff..
- 4/5
It’s close to the church, Riverwalk, lots of restaurants, and the Alamo
- 4/5
Always a return when in San Antonio
