They had clean rooms great staff. They also had a decent pool

Hotel had fans in the lobby (the kind they use to dry things out). The musty smell was so strong it hurts your eyes. Changed room to see if that would help and it did not. Checked out a night early and told the desk why and they just stared at me. Never said "sorry" or anything, but happily took my money for the second night that had been prepaid. I had a hard time breathing in the room and was afraid of mold.

The place was very clean and very quiet the only thing is that if you want a snack make sure you bring change cause front desk wont take credit card and won't give change.other than that it was very nice. Looking forward to staying here again soon.

The hot tub is really nice. There is an indoor pool. The room was clean. Check-in was quick.

Our room was very comfortable and all of the amenities were great, however the room could have had a little maintenance done (toilet seat was falling off when we arrived) other than that everything was fine.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The overall environment was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. The carpets were old and filthy, and the doors appeared rotten and badly damaged. The hotel clearly needs major renovation and better housekeeping. We were held there for 24 hours, and during our stay we were not allowed to use the indoor pool, which was very disappointing. The breakfast was also unacceptable. The food did not taste fresh, there was not enough variety, and the tables were extremely dirty. The dining area did not look properly cleaned or maintained. Overall, the cleanliness, maintenance, breakfast, and customer experience were far below what I would expect from a Comfort Inn. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

There were so many issues with this we ended up having to move rooms 2 times. Some of the some of the staff wasn't very nice at first when issues began don't want to expose to many details but after more issues they became more understanding I think because they realize how inconvenient our stay had become. I almost left but I'm one to give chances but will not be back.

Easy and quick check in stagf was nice. Older building, knobs missing from closet door safety latch was broken. Pull out bed was very dirty could not let my son use it . Stain on sheet and trash left under mattress looked like dry stain of something that was spilled and left never cleaned.

The staff were great. But the room and amenities are ok. Breakfast is repeated the same everyday. The cleaning staff will start cleaning at 8 am and will knock on room very early.

This place was pretty clean. They had a small breakfast in the morning. There was an indoor swimming pool and hot tub that was working. It is in a convenient place walking distance of Walmart overall we had a good stay.

Coffee was terrible

They didn’t replenish the breakfast food and a lot of people didn’t get to eat.

It was a comfort stay the beds where excellent the staff where very welcoming and helpful very quiet stay. We really enjoy looking forward for are next stay.

I didn’t feel unsafe. Parking lot is well lit. Limited access into the building. Night staff was very alert when we arrived in the middle of the night. The staff were accommodating and professional. The gym is simple and clean. Nearby is a mall, some shopping centers, a Target and a Walmart, restaurants, Dave & Buster and Six Flags. The stay satisfied what we needed for the one night but we won’t be back.

It wasn't the best of places, we got charged 10 bucks for a towel that was dirty, it could have been cleaned by washing it. The breakfast sucked.

Very clean property. The staff gave me trouble in the beginning. They tried to charge me $250 for using the side door. When I asked the front desk about the charge they lied telling me they didnt try to charge me, I have the charge on the debit card I used. They talked me disrespectful, called me a lier, and said they have me on camera, which I would love to be reviewed, because I was trying to defuse the situation the whole time as the front desk guy got loud and disrespectful with me.

On top of that, it was absolutely impossible to get ahold of the front desk after my stay. (I accidentally left something behind and wanted to see if they found it and if I could pay to have it shipped to me). I called countless times with no one answering and did not even have the option to leave a voicemail. Terrible experience and will not ever book here again.

Room was clean. I liked that they replaced the towels each day we were there.

There was a sign in the bathroom that housekeeping would only come if requested, otherwise it would be done every 3 days. So imagine our surprise when we came back to our room from a day out to see housekeeping had been in our room after only ONE night. It was a little frustrating because we had cups on the counter we were saving to re-use that got thrown away and they also didn't leave enough towels. Also, the desk clerk was rarely at the desk, leading to increased wait times if anything was needed. Lastly, the bed felt like we were sleeping on an air mattress. Not comfortable at all

Its location was in the center if everything we had to do for our trip.

There was damp smell because the ac was leaking water in carpet. Curtains were above AC which was a challenge to get room cool.

The condition of the pool was not ok, one extractor fan wasn’t working and the room it was terribly full of chlorine odor , can barely breathe, the pool wasn’t circulating properly.

-The laundry room was “out of service” -The downstairs bathrooms were “out of service,” so if you were in the pool you’d have to go all the way to your room for the bathroom -The elevator warning sign (firefighter hat) stayed flashing - You were required to ask the front desk for pool towels because they were not left out for guests - They were completely out of breakfast before 8:00am - They only have coffee available during breakfast hours, otherwise you have to use the coffee maker in your room - The coffee maker in my room did not work nor did it have the proper fitting trays to hold the coffee ground filter

Pool & hottub were clean but out dated - Neighborhood was a little questionable

Not impressed with the breakfast especially traveling with 2 kids. Rooms spelled like mildew. There was constant noise and children running up and down the hallway at all hours. One plus side was that there was 2 restaurants right next door to walk to.

Unfortunately, hotel is very run down and not well maintained. I’ve stayed at many Comfort Suites and this is by far the worst. Breakfast was also very limited on options.

When I got there the first room they gave me smell like mode I went downstairs as a different room. They gave me a different room that smell better

Was good the staff were good. But the extra locks on our door were removed or cut off which was a little off putting.

The hotel had a smell could not tell what it was . I wanted to wash our bathing suits and towels washer was out of order then I wanted to use the dryer just to dry some damp towels put some quarters and dryer didn’t work . Remote to TV was not working went twice to the lobby they gave another one and it worked the following morning it didn’t work anymore . Got another when and same thing happened just gave up on going back and forth . Pool had to much chlorine . Of all the exercise equipment the gym had only one machine was functional . Breakfast was ok . Won’t be staying there in the future .

The hotel was ok...staff was in, alot of times sleeping at the desk not alot of interaction. Asked if we could have clean towels and toilet paper we were asked to bring all dirty towels down to front desk before we could get clean towels. We checked out a day early. The halls were very humid and had very bad odor.

This place was mediocre at best. The front desk girl ( she was there all weekend) was totally uninterested in what anyone needed. When asked for towels for the swimming pool she acted like it hurt her to do her job😡. Lots of places in San Antonio to stay….. it just won’t be here again

The over all feel was dinghy and dirty. Definitely not a recommend place to stay. The location was gangster and lots of homeless people around the property.

Hotel owner/operators not very warm or welcoming, even during check in. Never make eye contact or greet you as you come and go. Hotel was clean for most part. We were placed right next to swimming pool and right in front of stair well doors. All we heard and felt were doors slamming day and night. Not pleasant. We asked for a different room from the beginning as we noticed our room was at end of hall by those doors. Owner immediately said NO. There were other rooms available as we could clearly see them from open windows. With small children the noise was inconvenient for sure. Swimming pool was cloudy and had smell so we did not use. We do not intend in returning to this hotel.

The hotel was good. Only problems were I seen a roach, I got stuck in the elevator for about 5 minutes. My bed sheets had black stuff on them, 1 towel had like blood stains. And we were only allowed 2 washcloths with 3 people in the room. The toilet didn’t flush all the way sometimes. And only meat served for breakfast was sausages. But other than that it was a good stay.

Bad smell and they tried covering it with a different scent. Smelled like burning. Sheets were stained.

We were there two nights. Just went to sleep. The stay was average but the smell of humidity or mold was barely tolerable. Maybe it was just those days, like if they had the carpets cleaned. Other than that, it was OK for the money.

The hotel staff was so accommodating! The place was clean and they came and replaced our used towels. I would absolutely come back! Only thing we didn't like was there was so much chlorine in the pool your eyes burned just going in the pool area. Still we did like the place.

When we checked in, we were assigned two rooms. In one room, the bathroom shower had mold, and there was mold inside the refrigerator. The other room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the comforter on the bed was visibly dirty. We had to switch both rooms, and the replacement was still inadequate. The hallways throughout the hotel smelled moldy, and the bed sheets had stains. Because we were in town on business, it wasn't practical to continue requesting room changes. Then at breakfast there was no coffee, ants on the table we were at, and we could even take our food to our room. Finally got coffee made two hours later and they didn’t have coffee cups. They were out of cereal both days and had 10 biscuits for all guest. On top of that the ice machine wash out of order and the restrooms for guest. Also, my daughter would ride the elevator because the firefighter light was flashing which indicates a problem, but when staff was alerted they laughed about it. So, I had to take the stairs for the duration of my trip. The site shows two indoor pools and there was only one. Also, when my kids went swimming the hotel worker turned the lights off on them and scared them. This is not even close to the level of comfort and cleanliness I have come to expect from Comfort Inn. I could have paid half price for this experience!

A good place to stay if you need something that's not in the middle of the city. Unit was nice

During our stay we encounter dirty sheets/pillows, and anytime we took a shower the water would get stopped up. I informed the front staff and she just brushed it off and said tell housekeeping.. in the pool area the signs instruct you to get a pool towel from the front desk .. again the lady at the front desk acted as if i wanted to steal the towels .. we were there for 4 days/ 3 nights . I would give housekeeping our dirty towels and they would instruct me to go to the front desk to retrieve new ones .. all in all we made the best out of our stay . And the location was perfect for our son’s basketball tournament .

The way they advertise the rooms and the breakfast is very misleading. The breakfast was supposed to be served until 10:00am. I made it a point to get to the breakfast area at 8:30-8:45. When I got to the breakfast area there was no more yogurt, no bread of any kind. No egg, no milk, no fruit other than a few apples and some had dark spots on them. I kindly asked the attendant if more food was coming and she replied that what was out was all there was. I was only able to get Juice from the dispensers. I got up and left. They advertise free breakfast included and other amenities as well. However, the reality is far from what they advertise. Think twice about staying here. This will be our first and last.

Pull out bed was rusted with spring appearing. Second floor water pressure was low. Recieved bed sheets for pull out bed with burn holes and stains on them. We did have plenty of room however, as a family of 6. With some upgrades, the hotel would be a decent stay.

The location is not close to the Medical Center. Our room smelled terrible. We were immediately moved to another room and told that because the location is so close to the medical centre (it’s not) they get loads of sick and dying guests that smell bad. Not at all what I wanted to hear. The pool is indoors, small, and always has kids in it. The breakfast was crowded. The waffles were nice but they were constantly out of butter, and you had to wait in a long line to get a waffle. Not enough parking. The phones didn’t work; we’re international travelers who needed land lines. Right next door to 24 hour food. Staff was somewhat helpful.

rooms were dirty, bedding was stained and dirty. It stunk in the lobby. Front desk girl spoke broken English and didn't know the answers for any questions. I tried to get a refund 5 minutes after checking in and she told me I could not. I had to eat the loss but I was not staying

Breakfast was not what was described during booking. Two of our vehicles were burglarized on the first night. Hotel did not have surveillance cameras at the time. Management was asked and they never made an attempt to fix the issue. Security signs are posted but we never saw them patrol the parking lot area.

The beds were nice Location, I had to make a U-turn every time I had to go somewhere. Breakfast was cold and no variety. No coffee cups at all, I had already finished the food by the time the lady went to refill the cups. There was no creamer. There was no internet in the room. There were hairs in the shower from previous guests. The receptionists never once looked up at us from their phones, the female was lounging on the sofa on the phone in the common area. The pool was disgustingly cloudy, too many people for such a small indoor pool. It smelled nasty. 6 Grown ups playing tag not letting the other guests enjoy it. One couple had a whole Buchanan bottle on the table in the pool area. Last but not least the next morning we found out there were at least 3 cars that had been broken into during the night.

The location was great, immediate access to the highway. The room had a very musty, wet/ dirty smell.

After booking this I when to the location and it didn't match what the website posted so I declined to stay there but the attempt to charge my card for 2days when I never check in or stay 1 day. I give this location catfish of the month.

We love to stay at this location because we always use to stay when we were kids.

Didn't have a blanket for the pull out couch, had to buy our own. Pull out couch mattress was stained and ripped.

Location and having a pool indoors. Not very clean the restroom had hairs all over the floor and tub and we found a roach in the room and there were someone’s socks left by the couch. The sheets had yellow stains and the beds were so uncomfortable.
