The man at the front desk was nice but warned up the elevator was usable, you can take it up but had to call the front desk for someone to push the bottom to bring it back down, thank goodness we are on the 2nd floor because we had to walk down the stairs several times, Had to ask for ice bucket & glasses, they should have also brought ice because the ice machine wasn't working on the 2nd floor, had to walk down the stairs for ice. Didn't eat breakfast because we had to leave too early both days. Sign at front desk, the hot tub was working but warm water, hot water issues. Room was clean, only plus!

Great location for our trip. Good price. The only negative thing was the elevator wasn’t working properly so we had to take the stairs!

Good hotel

My room posed a health risk due to some left behind soiled underwear. I picked it up thinking it was some clothes from one of my kids only to realize I had touched some underwear with feces in it. This was traumatizing and has caused me PTSD.

The staff was amazing. The elevator didn’t work, you can go up but can’t come down unless you call the front desk which is super annoying so we took the stairs down every-time. I was on the third floor with children so this was difficult. The jacuzzi didn’t work. The side door didn’t open with the key card which we had to park in the back due to it being full so a side door would’ve been handy. The WiFi didn’t work all weekend we got about 10 minutes of watch time before it went out. We kept waiting for it to come back up but spent our whole weekend with no wifi. I had planned a movie night with my kids but we all ended up on our phones because no WiFi means no tv. There was no coffee machine in room either all in all I’m very dissatisfied and feel like the little vacation I had planned wasn’t a vacation at all.

The room had a mini fridge, and that was it. I asked the front desk about the microwave, and coffee maker. I was told that the items were removed since Covid, and the only way I could have those items in the room was if we planned a long stay. I told we were staying for two night, she told me that I could get coffee from the front. I asked her if they had any plans on updating their website to let us know they were not offering these amenities. She told me to contact the owner. SECOND ISSUE I had to get my key card replaced three times. When I asked them about it, they told me it happens at times. I will definitely NOT be going back!

We had a little hiccup at check-in but Jason at the front desk was well-prepared and quick to fix any issues. Customer service 10/10 The hotel is a bit dated but it's got good bones. The room wasn't the cleanest, and the bed was not very comfortable. The elevator also wasn't working during our stay.

The staff was great they were really friendly and helpful. The hotel quality was questionable our door handles did not work properly they would not close unless we actually turned the door handle manually. The beds were relatively clean there were a few stains but nothing terrible. The complimentary Breakfast was above average.

breakfast menu was good and fresh, they have brewit machine. Did not look at gym. The room was clean but I do think they need to deep clean their carpet was bare foot and my feet got dirty from the carpet not from outside.

The microwave in the room was super old, like from the 80s, with a manual dial that didn't even work. The glass plate inside didn't spin because it looked like an aftermarket add-on. The AC, though, worked but not effective in the summer heat. The carpet was old and definitely needs to be replaced. Our room keys stopped working twice, so we had to go all the way down to the reception to get them reactivated. The guy at the front desk in the evening wasn't very friendly either. My elderly parents had to wait every time, which was just pathetic!

Rooms smelled a bit like fake air fresheners. Our first room's A/C was broken and the bath tub was leaking. The front desk host immediately apologized and ended up giving us 2 replacement rooms (b/c they didn't have any rooms with 2 separate beds) which was really awesome of them to respond that quickly. But overall, there were some stains on the carpet. Breakfast was good. The hotel is in the 7 out of 10 range.

The main reason I booked this room was the fact that there was a suite setup. In the photos you see a couch and two double beds. This was perfect for my teenage kids that don’t like to sleep together. Upon arrival the staff informed me that that room was sold out and I need to contact Hotels.com because there’s nothing they can do. I showed him the pictures and what I thought I booked, and he didn’t care. We had no luck to take the room since it was non refundable and he reassured me it wasn’t. The room was super hot (AC was out) ,and looked like it had been broken into before as the trim was cut up. There’s bleach stains all over the carpet in the hallways .The side of town it’s on isn’t the most desirable. I was lucky enough to be able to move rooms about 10pm when the nice evening gentleman showed up. The bottoms on the elevator on the third floor were inoperable so you had to take the stairs or hope someone was getting off on your floor.There are plenty of hotels for the price in San Antonio that would be better imo.

The only bad thing with our room was our bathtub was peeling and the shower didn't have much pressure. But overall everything was great! Cold a/c in the rooms but not in common areas. Cleaning staff were very friendly. Front desk lady was tired and didn't act like she wanted to be there. But everyone has bad days and maybe that was hers. Nice breakfast and attendants. Hot tub wasn't working after we called and was told that it was.

Clean rooms and an overall nice experience

Always nice to come back to a freshly made bed every day, and very pleasant experience overall. Price point was great for the above par service and facilities. Only let down was some out of order gym equipment, and broken hot tub. But even then, the lukewarm hot tub was nice to relax in while my family swam in the pool. Loved that it’s an indoor pool!

The hot tube was not working at all and the water was freezing in the indoor pools. The pool was had grime and wasn’t kept very clean. The staff was kind, but the amenities disappointed. Breakfast goes fast and the bread was not replaced enough to meet the demand. Couldn’t get the AC to be in a comfortable temperature. It was either freezing blasted on, or we had to turn it off completely.

Don’t usually do reviews. I decided to this time because the guy at the service desk went above and beyond helping me with the TV. Had an issue with it and he rectified it and was very cordial and nice about it. He was the epitome of a good service rep.

The hot breakfast was fresh and hot with lots of variety. Ready to please several different tastes. Area feels safe. We were grateful to see in the parking lot, at 2:30 in the morning as we returned from our event and the after party, that security was out checking the parking area when we arrived. We felt very comfortable, and everything was clean, and organized on both the inside and outside of the property. Staff provided very good service and were attentive to our needs.

Elevator keep not working the hot tub didnt work all weekned. Couldnt even get into enjoy the pool with family.

The hotel and our room were very clean and comfy, except for a couple of pieces of someone else's hair on our bathroom floor and noise from a nearby highway while we slept. The staff was friendly and accommodating; however, I noticed a guest received a welcome bag, but we didn't. Oh well, maybe they were special club members. I didn't have the hotel's breakfast, but my family members did and enjoyed it. The coffee which was served all day was good, and the lady who prepared the coffee and breakfast was very kind and friendly. The location was quite a ways out if your traveling from the north, but somewhat convenient to the Riverwalk. Overall the stay was good for the price.

Stayed in 2 Queen bedroom with sofa bed. Easy check-in $50 deposit. Clean spacious room. Big TV. No coffee maker in room but plenty of coffee downstairs tasty and strong with flavor liquid creamer options. Great breakfast variety eggs etc. Would recommend.

After I arrived and received my key, I went to Room 207. The key did not work, forcing me to return to the front desk to have it re-scanned. Once corrected, the key worked. Upon entering the room, we immediately heard water leaking from the bathroom; the shower was clearly leaking. The room was also hot, stuffy, and had a strong old odor. I attempted to use the wall thermostat, but it was completely nonfunctional and displayed nothing. I then turned on the window AC unit and set it to 66°F before leaving for a quinceañera, assuming the room would cool down. When we returned, the AC had shut off and the room was hot and muggy. I turned it back on and left briefly to get food. Upon returning again, the AC was off once more. I called the front desk to report the issue and asked if someone could check it. The clerk told me to reset it myself and stated no one was available until the next morning. I requested to be moved to another room. We were relocated to Room 320, where the AC worked; however, the bed was extremely old and sagged badly in the center, making it very uncomfortable. This has been the worst hotel experience I have had in my 52 years of staying at hotels

Room was clean and smelled good. Breakfast was also good. The area around the hotel didn't look too good, but we didn't have any problems. The hot tub wasn't working, which was a big disappointment.

We had to change rooms three times. We had issues with the A/C unit that nearly caused a fire in our room, the second room the door did not lock from the outside and the third room smelled of mildew. There were no working amenities, i will be seeking a refund.

The tv picture was distorted and color was off. We tried adjusting the settings, but nothing worked. We were already settled in so didn’t want to ask for a new room. I also don’t like having to pay $50 up front for incidentals and wait for reimbursement. We will need to follow up on that on my credit card statement. Seems like they could just have the card on file in case payment is needed like other hotels do.

This is a solid hotel if you need to stay on the far south side to travel to Somerset and Poteet but also want to be convenient to San Antonio. I have stayed here before and would stay here again. Everyone was very nice and the rooms are good sized and clean, and breakfast was better than I expected it to be. Good coffee, too.

When we arrived our room was suppose to be on the 4th floor, however the elevator was out of service. Isaiah who was working the desk said there were no 1st floor rooms so we had to had to go to 2nd floor which would have been fine however I requested specifically a first floor room as my husband has MS and uses a mobility scooter to get around. We had no choice but the leave the scooter in the car and make the hike up to the 2nd floor. When we went down for breakfast the following morning the gentleman behind the counter asked what floor we were on, we told him. He said he was going to "block off" a first floor room for us when we got back later that day the room had been given away. Isaiah felt awful and had asked a guest who had just arrived a few minutes prior to move to the 2nd floor. The guest so graciously complied. Next thing we know we are in a different room on the 1st floor that had been used and not cleaned. The Ice machine on 2nd floor was out of order, soda machines were all out of order, and had to walk up to 3rd floor for ice Had to ask for clean towels, used towels on floor in bathroom, also needed to an ask for new pillowcases as the pillows had been slept on. 2nd floor room was nice and big and handicap accessible, this room was much smaller with no couch. Not one time did our room get cleaned even though we put the clean sign on the handle. We never saw a single room being cleaned. Very disappointed with this stay

Stayed with kids, room and restroom was clean, no issues at all , all the staff was super friendly, the breakfast was good , the area is safe & plenty of restaurants around , about 25 mins away from six flags so that wasn’t bad, they also have an indoor pool so that was a very convenient since it was raining 2 of the 3 days we stayed

AC was very good, it was clean, and they had good breakfast. Check in lady was polite. Things that we didn’t like but wouldn’t care much if they wouldn’t charge high, for the price we pay we would expect things to work. For instance, the elevator did not work, the sod machine and the orange juice dispenser was also out of order. Either fix it or don’t charge too much.

First check in was easy, rooms were spacious, and Bkfst was good. Cons elevator was broke and we were not informed. Stairs and hallways were dirty and hot. One bed and blood on the comforter and there were NO TOWELS. Literally one torn up towel and no washcloths. Luckily I keep extra because the hotel were all out. What an inconvenience!

The second room we were booked into had a constantly running hot water stream coming out of the tub tap (not dripping, running). Again, the floor cleanliness was questionable. The AC fan would only operate on low. It cooled the room but only marginally. The refrigerator started leaking sometime during the first night. We stayed there. It wasn’t the worst. The owner needs to do a top down renovation of all the floor coverings and fix all of the ongoing maintenance items. The staff was very friendly and professional as they probably have had to deal with the same complaints for years now (based on other reviews claiming the same conditions).

Room was clean; employees friendly; awesome breakfast. Area is a little sketchy, but overall we felt very safe. Lots of fast food options nearby as well as an Olive Garden.
