The property is in bad shape, at our aarrival the picture frame were in the floor the door of the bathroom didn't close and the little fridge was dirty

Nice property. I have stayed twice and the staff has been great. The breakfast is really good with lots of options. Beds are a little hard but overall an excellent stay.

They had it all. Had zero issues whatsoever during my stay. Some observations for improvement: 1. Have an electrician/technician go through your wall outlets. Found a couple where the wall plates are not secure against the wall. If left unchecked, could eventually turn into a safety issue in the future. 2. Noticed some water damage in the bathroom where the water had warped the surface of the wall. Noticed that it was just painted over. Could potentially turn into a mold issue in the future (I didn’t see any mold).

Room was clean, nice outdoor seating area with fire pit (that didn’t work) breakfast was good lots of options. Pool was dirty the picture of the suite is not what we got and they didn’t credit us the difference, we thought it was closer to downtown than what it was, there was no jacuzzi on property. The fire pit in outdoor seating area was out of propane.

I like the location of the hotel. It was in a couple of minutes from where we were scheduled to be for the graduation we were attending. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. There seems to be a slight problem with the elevator. Once you get to the third floor going up or coming down there seems to be a clock or something. ( the maintenance needs to check into it) Also, we saw only one roach. They need to start before this situation gets out of control.

The least convenient issue was waiting on the elevator since there is only one in the building. Guest and Staff have to use that one elevator.

The website provides inaccurate information regarding the distance to the river walk. It states that a 0.1-minute walk is available, but in reality, the hotel is located more than 15 minutes away by car and 4.3 miles from the river walk.

The hotel is very well located, and the facilities are generally of excellent quality. The rooms are excellent, spacious, and very clean. The staff is very attentive, helpful, and friendly. The parking area is large and well-laid out, and the breakfast is excellent—comprehensive and of very high quality. 100% recommended for family or business trips.

Great! Stay at a great price for two nights. Good area for access to several tourist attractions in downtown San Antonio. When we arrived the elevator was out but they were able to upgrade me to a first floor suite, because, due to a medical condition I could not use the stairs. I also noted that the elevator was fixed by the next morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful . When we checked out, we forgot something in the room, but we called and they set it aside for us so we could pick it up the next day. Breakfast varied slightly each day and offered a good variety. I would stay again if I was in the area.

Following check-in, I proceeded to my room and attempted turn on the lights. Regrettably, the lights situated along the wall where the beds were positioned were inoperative. The only functional lights were located at the entrance, in the bathroom, and a single lamp near the tv. Consequently, the room presented a rather dim and uninviting atmosphere. This issue was reported to the front desk, but unfortunately, it remained unresolved. The subsequent day, while I was retrieving breakfast for my daughters, I returned to discover two adult males present in the room with my three young girls. This situation immediately caused me significant alarm upon my return. It was later identified that these individuals were a security guard and maintenance who had entered the room while my children were dressing. It is important to note that they gained access using a key card. My eldest daughter requested that they depart, to which they responded that their task would be brief. The refused to leave for her. They also refused to leave on my command. This is unacceptable.

Hotel Staff were very nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The only (Major) issue is that the elevator was not working and we were on the 5th floor. This would be very difficult for those with small children &/or a handicap. Something that may need to be addressed upon arrival or make accommodations to offer a room change if this would be an issue for some to go to the higher floors. But overall great location for were we needed to be the next day. Breakfast was "Okay", but we enjoyed it.

The elevator did not work and it didn’t say when booking. Their were only very tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the shower for 4 people.

The hotel was ok. Check in process was good. The elevator has been broken for months and we had a room in 3rd floor. By talking to the staff they didn’t know when it will be fixed and it’s a 4 story hotel. So if you have issues climbing stairs rethink as it gets a little trouble some with luggages. Also our key card didn’t work after the first day late at night coming back from kids karate camp. The front desk accommodated that by sending someone upstairs. It’s a good location, plenty parking

The elevator has been out of service for over two weeks, which has been a major inconvenience. Guests should have been informed in advance so they could have made other accommodations instead of having to climb four flights of stairs to and from their rooms. In addition, the rooms have an unpleasant odor, and the floors are slippery, making the stay uncomfortable and raising safety concerns. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially considering the level of quality you would expect from a Best Western hotel.

Elevators were out when we were there, so we had to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to our room. Other than that, everything was great.

At check-in, we were told the elevators were out of service, yet we were assigned a room on the 4th floor. Carrying luggage up and down the stairs, especially after long days out, was extremely inconvenient. When we got to our room, the bathroom was dirty and clearly in need of updating. The bathroom door wouldn’t lock and made an incredibly loud noise every time it was opened or closed. Later that evening, after spending the day out, all we wanted to do was relax, but we found a bug crawling on the wall that we had to kill. To make matters worse, the air conditioning kept malfunctioning throughout the night and wouldn’t stay cool, making it difficult to sleep. The next morning, we asked for extra towels but were told they had run out, which was disappointing. The only positives were the hotel’s convenient location near the Frost Bank Center, the good complimentary breakfast, and the friendly staff. Unfortunately, those positives weren’t enough to outweigh the cleanliness and maintenance issues. Overall, this stay was a huge disappointment. I would not stay here again or at any Best Western.

Great for 1 night when attending an event at Frost Bank Center

This hotel was clean, it had a beautiful patio area with a pool. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. My only disappointment was the front desk lady. She was not welcoming at all, she seemed bothered I was checking in. This was my first impression of this property and it was disappointing to say the least. She did nit appear well groomed, never smiled, sounded bothered because she needed to do her job. The check out person was a lot kinder.

The beds were hard and the elevator is out of service. I understand it’s behind their control however I was not notified what room my room would be on and I was stay with my elderly father. The concierge simply gave me the room keys. I noticed it was on the third floor and told her I needed something lower to which she responded kindly I will say “I don’t have anything lower”. My father was okay with the high floor. We were also not notified of checkout times nor that breakfast was available.

Easy to check in and the room was huge! Very clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. But the elevator was out for 2 of the 3 days I was there, which was a challenge since my room was on the 5th floor.

A pleasant stay for sure, very close to the event we were in town for. Sonic drinks right in front of the hotel, cant beat that. Only down side was the elevator broke and going up and down stairs with luggage and bad knees is not great. Other than that excellent place.

Hotel was clean and easy to get to everything in the area. Fort Sam Houston is really close to this hotel.

Met all requirements for my visit to San Antonio.

I was given the room in 5th floor and i had to use stair for all 5 floors to carry breakfast and luggages etc every day for almost 4-5 times(stayed for 2 days). While checking out, i carried suitcases from top floor. TV channels was no working inside the room. I used the cast only. It would be great if i can get any refund.

Everything was great but the elevator was out of service! I wish there was a warning online while booking. I’m 8 months pregnant so I struggled going up and down 3 flights of stairs!

- Was hoping to get an early check-in. When asked was told no rooms were available (only an hour until checkin). Did not even attempt to check the system & was adamant nothing is available until 3pm. - My room was supposed to be ADA in the bathroom. Only ADA was one bar by shower head. In was a high step-in tub, no shower head extension just from the wall & did not adjust, & no shower seat. Unfortunately, was not able to shower. Nice place but probably will never book there again due to questionable customer service & ADA rooms.

The front desk employee did not seem properly trained to handle a basic situation like this. She called the manager for guidance, but the manager appeared unsure of the hotel’s own policies and was openly questioning the procedure over the phone. The entire experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. In the end, I had no choice but to call and cancel the reservation because the hotel refused to honor a reservation that had already been confirmed and paid for.

Breakfast was awesome and very quiet area this is my go to hotel , if you want a nice hotel (close to downtown ) without the BIG price tag , this is it!!!! Hidden gem

My daughter slept on the pullout couch that night - but there was no bedding on it, or for it anywhere. So we had to contact the front desk to get bedding for her. The gentleman who brought it for us was surprised by this also. We were also very disappointed in how there was no TV in the living room area. There were also other areas that were not very clean (floors, bathtub, etc). Overall, a big disappointment. We will not be staying here again.

1 night stay on 3/14/26. Room was clean, bed was clean. The area is a little sketchy, they do have outside security. He doesnt bother you he just watches tge cars.

The location is good for being around the zoo and downtown areas. The room was in good shape. I had no real issues with anything, and continental breakfast was good.
