Best Western Medical Center North Inn & Suites Near Six Flags

It started out horrible. We got a room with a sofa bed for my 13 yr old and my 2 yr old baby. We asked for blankets and pillows only to be told no because they said they don’t give out more pillows. We walk into our room and our sheets and comforter was still wet. My baby was on the floor and the floor is so dirty his feet were black. Went to try and give him a bath and there was no hot water in our room. I finally had enough and asked to have our room changed only to be told that they couldn’t change our room and the manager would be in after 11 am the following day. I was so upset I called the corporate office and Expedia where we had purchased the room through and they both were calling the hotel to get things fixed. After being on the phone with them for 2 hours making sure we were able to change our room by 1am they had gave us a new room. This room not as bad but still very dirty. NEVER COME HERE!!

The room were big and roomy. And very very clean. I will definitely be coming back Clean rooms, great breakfast, and the pool was nice also

Hotel has good location, near UTSA and Hospitals The beds are uncomfortable and old; the carpet was dirty and some trash founded near to the sofa; the restroom sink was liking water; the common area is uncomfortable; the breakfast was unfavorable; and the breakfast custodian was rude, throwing pans, utensils. In the common area, during breakfast time, this past Sunday, August 16, early morning around 10:02am the custodian was unpleasant, got upset when I asked for the waffle, he turned off, took everything away and showed me her phone pointing the timem (Rude)

Room was dirty. Shower was the worst part. Every time we used it the pipes would creak the whole time and sounded like they were about to burst. The shower head was almost missing something so the water would just pour out. Bed was uncomfortable and the comforter was dirty. The ceiling had water stains all over the room so it also smelled like mold.

Place is beat up. Rooms need a makeover. The room I had, bathroom wasn’t very clean. Faucets and fixtures are rusting and not well attached to the wall, wiggling. There was hair in the tub and on the towels. Hair was also found in the bed. The lamp in between the beds was covered in a thick layer of dust and look like it had debris leftover from a prior guest. Would not stay here again.

Hotel is clean. Location is supposed to be good, they are located near an apartment complex with high crime rate. Hotel staff knows of nightly thefts however they don't warn customers or hire security. Several cars were broken into. This is a recurring problem.

Good Location The bathroom walls were dirty. Had dirt in every corner of the ceiling and floor. The clothes rack was a cheap dollar store find there was no closet. The mini fridge was dirty. Had something dried on shelf and bottom of inside that had previously been spilled and not cleaned. At the full breakfast the pastry’s were non existent only had apples no other fruit and it took over 30 minutes in line to be able to make a waffle that my granddaughter wanted for breakfast. The eggs and sausage were standard nothing exceptional. Not enough seating for breakfast.

The hotel is good for a short stay. Is a bit outdated the room had a funny smell to it but overall it was ok.

The front staff was cordial and super helpful, the breakfast was okay. They had eggs, runny beans, fake undercooked flour tortillas, sausage, make your own waffles, juices, and breads. In the room: it was spacious, no carpet, beds were super comfy, temp was just right, but the bathroom didn't lock and if the shower curtain isn't closed right you will make a huge mess. We didn't get to use the pool. Parking is not very good but the hotel is located in a residential area. It was quite and pretty much safe.

Decent hotel for price but they never cleaned our room. We were gone for 5 hours to six flags and came back and no one had cleaned and we had overflowing trash and no clean towels. Cleaning crew was just getting to our hallway, so they may be understaffed. Breakfast was ok.

The room was not clean and there was a blood stain on the sheets. Carpet has not been vacuumed in along time. Breakfast was limited and they couldn't wait one extra minute to shut it down even though there were people in line to get food. Would not recommend it.

The room felt muggy, the tv only had like two channels. The shower did not work, the staff had to come in several times to try to fix it. Will absolutely not be staying there again.

We booked the two-bedroom "suite", and beware! There is NO AC in the second room. One room had to be frozen in order for the other one to feel "cool". Also, the breakfast was one of the worst breakfasts ever; no one could eat the waffles. They were terrible. Outside our room, they had a leak on the roof, so it was constantly leaking. And the shower door and the shower itself worked terribly. Probably the worst Best Western I've ver stayed at

Good location, good amenities, breakfast. It is ok for the price but has the same options all days we stayed. The property needs maintenance; the bathroom has no ventilation, rust everywhere, but the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Good stay for a good price.

When my friend pulled back the sheets on the bed in the room I purchased for him. At the foot of the bed was a blood stain about the size of a silver floor coin, with a little streak of blood headed in the direction of the end of the bed and some blood spots on the very end. To it appeared like maybe a women was having her cycle and possibly leaked. Be cause as you looked it it it looked like someone had been sitting on the end of the bed. The point here is the the sheets had not been changed list the last time the room was used. The cleaner just pulled the bed sheets and cover up remaking bed but not changing sheet which should be standard after someone checks out. Perhaps staff is told not to to save on laundry. Is possible. I went to the front desk to ask for some compensation and was told I need to go through Expedia. That was false as i called expedia and they said that was a hotel issue.. They could have reduced the overall price or comp me a room foe a different Stat. As usual they make excuses and kick the can down the road to let someone else deal with it in hopes we the customer give up. Haha they do not know me. This hotel was reported to world headquarters

These used to be one of cleanest nicest hotels back about 2 or 3 years ago. Now you can tell it’s a bit run down, the doors look like someone’s forced their way in. Not to mention it’s being run by mostly men. Housekeepers and breakfast person were all men. (So the cleanliness is not as detailed.) Lobby restroom doors were broken so after breakfast had to run back up to our room. Rooms are spacious, but again not as detailed clean as they used to be.

My vehicle was broken into while staying at this location. It was the only vehicle in the parking lot that got hit. I was parked right outside the hotel rear entrance doors.

The shower in room 226 only gave out cold water and the shower door didn't stay closed at all. You had to hold the shower door shut while taking a shower. Also the shower head had water spraying everywhere even in your face. They don't have a lot of TV channels to watch. Other than that it was a good stay.

I will start by saying that the staff is very friendly and helpful. We flew into San Antonio and decided to stay the night instead of driving the 2 hours home, wish we hadn't. The room was nice at first glance but you can tell upon inspection that the cleaning staff is cutting corners. There was a layer of dust on a lot of the surfaces, hair on the bathroom floor, and dried pee on the toilet seat. We went to get into bed and they don't use a flat sheet on their bed, just the duvet blanket and the decorative sheet laying on top of the duvet. We found a lot of stains on the duvet blanket, some looked old and washed out, but some looked fresh. We requested clean sheets, which they were happy to provide. The duvet and cover sheet smelled much cleaner than what was on our bed but there was a huge hole and scorch mark in the middle on the duvet. The bed was comfortable thankfully and we slept well. Unfortunately when we checked out and went into the parking lot of truck had been broken into! They broke the driver side window and ransacked the interior but didn't steal anything. Several parking spots down from us was someone's tinted window glass just laying on the ground. So obviously this is a problem in this area. The man at the desk called the police for us and we made a report but that's about all they do now of your vehicle gets broken into. I'd avoid this property!

Stayed in room 326 and the ac leaked and soaked the rug making room muggy. There was evidence of mildew on bathroom wall in sleeping area. The door handle on entry was broken and you had to move it around to make it engage to make mechanism open. Breakfast was just ok. The coffee was great. They also need a comfortable designated smoking area. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room wasn't cleaned. Price was far.

The room was good but was given close to an exit so the noise only stopped at midnight. Great location for amusement parks.

Rajesha was so helpful and kind, he went above and beyond to help with our accommodations. The entire hotel was very organized and clean, the staff was very polite and friendly.

Do NOT book!!! Horrible hotel!! We checked in and when walked in the room it smelled musty and humid, the carpet by the AC was wet. When I went down to the front desk and told them about it they came up to check it out and what I was told was “the AC has been running a lot because it’s hot in Texas” duh I live in Texas so I know. We tell the guy that we are not talking about how cold it is, the concern was the carpet was wet it smelled humid and musty, traveling with 3 kids, 2 with asthma history and a baby you best believe I didn’t want to Stay in that room. We kindly asked if we could be moved to another room because I didn’t want my kids to stay in a room that smelled like that. He kept insisting that the AC was blowing cold and dismissing our concerns, he then told us that they were completely sold out and that they couldn’t move us. We then told him that because of the smell and wet carpet we were going to leave to another hotel. He was like ok and walked out and slammed the door behind him. Reason number 20 that we decided to leave. We were not there not even 20 minutes after checking in because we noticed the smell right away. When asked for a refund they only refunded me one night.. idk what the excuse is for that but it should have been the FULL AMOUNT paid because WE DID NOT stayed there. Is unfair because we had to pack all 3 kids and loaded them into the truck and look for another hotel. THE PICTURES DONT LOOK LIKE THIS PLACE AT ALL. DO NOT book!

Do your homework. The property does not look like the pictures provided. It smells musty. The room looked clean but there was a moldy smell which we think was coming from wet carpet by the AC. We decided to check out because we have 2 kids with asthma and the front desk had the choice to not penalize us but they chose to charge us 1 nights stay. This is my very first bad review of Best Western ☹️.

We live locally but stayed here to recover from a surgery thinking the breakfast would help with staying in a little later before therapy BUT for 7 days it was the same breakfast everyday.. others who stayed here complained about it as well.. next time I’ll pay more to have more or different options to eat.

Poor presentation, shower did not work properly, sink clogged and did not properly drain, bad smell, television remote did not work properly, breakfast was terrible.

The staff were friendly and helpful and easy to work with. They provided a free basic breakfast each morning. The parking was free. The property felt safe.

Our room door did not lock. We left twice and came back twice to our room door open. My daughter woke up with mystery bites. Front desk guy did nothing.

Pool closes at 10pm. Gym is open 24/7, and there's drinking water if you need it. Staff was nice and helpful. Downside is the room is cleaned every 3 days unless you tell them to clean daily for those staying more than 3 days. Breakfast is from 6:30-9:30am. Breakfast options were basic but ok. Room and bathroom were nice.

The bed was not very comfortable and the property could use some updates. Everything was clean and was good wnough for a short, last minute stay. Area felt safe and neighborhood was quiet.

Parking was fine. Tight in the front and side but plentiful in the back. Hotel was pretty good. Room was clean. Lobby was clean. Really great experience. Breakfast was limited with choices but got the job done. Nothing great but nothing bad either. Just to get you through the day. Breakfast area was very tight but the lobby seating was plentiful. Get there early lol. Great experience. 7/10.

This was a solo trip for me, just for a single night. The staff was courteous and friendly. Check-in was a breeze and parking was easy, directly in front of the entrance. The room was on the bottom floor, right next to the kitchen and breakfast area. Waking up like a fat kid to the smell of pancakes and waffles! The room itself is starting to show its age, carpet looks worn and old. Bed and pillows were comfy. Overall, just fine for a 1 night stay. The area seems safe, it’s directly alongside the I-10, but you won’t even notice any noise.

Spent 1 hour trying to check in, our reserved rooms were given to other people therefore they wanted us to stay in suites and charge us extra when the mistakes were on their end. They charge $100 for deposit when it’s a hotel that isn’t even good we just stayed there because everything else was sold out. Manager was horrible as well and wouldn’t even help the clerk with the huge line

The room they put us in the first night had to have normally been a “do not rent” room. We asked to be switched the next day. Breakfast was not very hot any of the days we stayed

I had a plesant stay here. I was there for one night. The breakfast was very good. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Very minor issues in the bathroom as the sink faucet needed tightening and it looked like one of the pictures or mirrors in the room was missing. Overall a great place to stay.

We did not have enough bedding for the beds on our room. Breakfast was ok but coffee was gross. They charged my card before I even checked out and was not able to get a tax exemption sonce we were a school trip. The front counter said he would try to fix it but did not before we left. We tried to get rooms on the same floor but they were not accommodating even though there were empty rooms on the same floor. The snacks in were front were overpriced, $6 for a ice cream bar. The hotel smelled like illegal substances.

Breakfast was great, staff were great. They are in process of rehab on the property. Had an issue with the shower head, and they were wonderful in dealing with it right away.

Check in process was quick, the staff member that helped me was very kind and parking was not an issue many spaces and the property had more in the back where there was a second entrance. The room was clean. I plan to stay at this location the next time I am in San Antonio
