This place is safe and clean. It’s definitely in an area that is depressed but it’s close to the Riverwalk and they don’t charge $70 per night for parking. If you want to avoid paying for parking then this is a good option.

Bathroom toilet already clogged up and the porch deck door doesn’t lock up Staff was not helpful especially in the evening I ask for assistance and never came through instead I get kicked out of one room and so technically I rented 2 rooms with each having 2 king size beds . Refuse to refund me Awful experience Pool was dirty I believe hookers we’re across from my room off men coming in out all night and noises . Reception did not help out especiall The GM hides and doesn’t call or respond to my calls and emails Can’t even get a refund for one room at least . Worst experience we were a family of 8 with kids and not felt safe here . I won’t recommend this hotel they should close this hotel and change ownerships and management and staff. They blaming Expedia and don’t want to deal with me directly . Never again Horrible experience and the breakfast was disgustingly over burnt old sausages and milk was old the list will go on . Don’t trust this hotel and staff here at this hotel. I’ll make sure this hotel gets reported Not a family experience

The carpet was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The sofa needs a new mattress.

I liked the front desk service. They are always nice. We love the breakfast staff. The room was extremely hot. Room 327 is the second time we stay in this room and it’s hot the ac doesn’t even work properly we had to go ask for extra fan. Never again would I stay in that same room

Hot breakfast was appreciated, but please change it up a bit! Identical breakfasts each of my 4 mornings. Dog kennel across the street; had a few episodes of barking; maybe at feeding time? and we had an ugly view of electrical transformers out our windows. Sigh.

It was a very pleasant stay 5 min drive to the river walk.

Needs complete renovation. It’s old and outdated. My kids and I checked out a day early. We did not like the property. Staff was nice though.

Hot fresh breakfast every morning from 6am-10am Waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, juice and sometimes breakfast potatoes. Location looked very sketchy, the building and buildings surrounding the hotel are all old

It was conveniently located to the Riverwalk (not far because I was driving, about 14 blocks to walk) and it was accessible with free parking. The upstairs loft was very hot. We figured out on departure that the window had been left open, which is hard to cool a hot room with the AC right by that window...but it was overall fine.

Lobby, breakfast was really good and coffee 24 hours The check in was a mess , they gave my room to someone else and told me I have to wait until the other family move to their room, the when they finally check me in, they had my address wrong and they couldn’t fix it, finally got to the room and the phone was already ringing to tell me they forgot to charge me and I had to go back to the lobby and pay, oh but they gave me a gift for all the inconvenience, 2 bottles of water was gift.

I really enjoy the full service buffet breakfast and appreciate the Almond milk being provided as I have Dairy allergy. The clean room on the main level was spacious-quiet and comfortable, loved having the indoor pool and spa clean well maintained, close proximity to Downtown River Walk and San Antonio Mall for shopping, restaurants and attractions. Close to Sea World for Family Fun. Really wanted to have eggs for breakfast but they were make with milk and or butter. Would like more options for Dairy Free for our next stay. This was my second time. Even fresh daily hard boiled eggs would be good alternative

Limited choices for breakfast. The commode area needs a little update; overall, the double room is good and quiet. The staff at the front desk is welcoming and has a friendly smile.

Hotel was close to the downtown area. Our room was nice and clean. Staff was professional and the check-in and check-out process was easy peasy. Also, loved the complimentary breakfast, free parking and the indoor pool with jacuzzi was a plus!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The shower was amazing, too. The water pressure was exceptional and it stayed hot throughout the shower. The hotel was very quiet. We never heard any noise. I will definitely be back!

I don’t normally write reviews but the hotels deserves a review. Coming inside to check in hotel was super clean. Staff was very friendly. Went to my room was super clean as well very spacious. AC worked pretty well. Also got to enjoy the hot tub and pool. Staff was always friendly. Free Breakfast as well. Over all 10/10

This hotel was a five min drive to The River Walk. Good breakfast. Nice indoor pool. The room had a different smell to it. Maybe the humidity. Other than that. It was a quiet clean room.

The room smelled musty and damp, the air conditioner was barely working, gave the feeling of really damp, other than that the room was good

You could tell that the property was not new but they were working at keeping it in good shape. We arrived in the middle of stormy weather and were scheduled to leave in a flash flood situation. The staff allowed us late checkout until it was safe to drive.

We had an issue with our room being very humid and damp facing the front of the road. The Management was very accommodating to ensure the remainder of our stay was comfortable allowing us to choose another room. I was so happy with the customer service that we extended extra nights. Smoke , room patio door was broken and would not lock , first desk lady didn’t seem to know how to check people in , I had to leave and come back latter for check in ,

This is an older property, but it is well located and has spacious rooms and comfortable furnishings. It is also a bargain cost-wise, especially when compared to staying near the riverwalk. I would definitely stay there again when I return to San Antonio.

At first was worried about the area because it looked a bit rundown but the room was immaculate. Did t care to much for how the parking lot was set-up but nothing to do about that.

The breakfast menu was simple but good, staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very specious and the beds was comfortable. The only down fall was not enough parking, but it was very well lighted. My family and I had an amazing stay would book again.

All the staff great. Inside our room needed some maintenance. The doors barely shut, the shower curtain was broken and water got all over the bathroom floor, and the floorboard around the shower was discolored and the paint was peeling—probably because of the water damage

Looks old on the outside, but decent on the inside. Area looks a little shady, but was safe. The bedding didn't appear to of been changed and there was crumbs between the couch cushions and on bedframe. Thin floors could hear the person upstairs all day/ night. Breakfast was good Great location and close to the Riverwalk. Staff is responsive.

The bathtub was in terrible condition, with the coating missing, visible cracks, and even sharp areas. It didn’t feel safe to use, so we avoided showering altogether. That alone says a lot about the condition of the room. The pool and hot tub were no better. The pool was ice cold and unusable, and the hot tub had such a strong chlorine smell that it actually caused a nosebleed. It was clear that the entire location is in serious need of updates and better maintenance. We did speak with the front desk, but were simply told that this was the room we had booked. Since we arrived late and only needed a place to rest during our drive home, we stayed—but under normal circumstances, we absolutely would have gone elsewhere. Overall, this was a horrible stay, and we would not recommend this location to anyone.

General condition of the lodge is quite run down. Cigarette smell was present from the moment you walk in the front door and throughout hallways. Pillows were in terrible condition. Hardly any support left in them.

This whole hotel experience was great I love that they have breakfast till 10am really letting you get breakfast with sleeping in! The indoor pool and spa were really great

To be honest I didn't eat the breakfast but I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was big for the two bedroom and it was nice I would stay here again. In the future.

Room is run down and old. Light bulbs burnt out,toilet seat only held on with one bolt, hot tub wasn’t working, pool water murky, breakfast is not much and all carpet is old and very stinky. Says it’s on the river walk but not even close. You can see the river but cannot access for almost a mile. Very very misleading.

Rooms are clean, staff is very friendly. Breakfast was always ready and refreshed as soon as it was getting low. Kids loved the pool. It was freezing cold for me so the toddler didn’t get much swim time. Overall a nice stay.

Loved that it was near so many shopping centers. AC would go off and make room humid besides that the stay was great.

Overall the stay was nice. Breakfast was good. Only the A/C didn't get cold enough. I couldn't get it to a decent temp to sleep comfortably. We got back late to our room and assumed the hotel was full so I didn't report it until we left.

Hotel is in Fair condition. Hotel is clearly dated. Had stains on sheets and pool area needs work with appeal.

The room was spacious and in fairly good condition. The door opening to the bathroom is hard to navigate with the room door. They have a nice counter area inside the room, along with a microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast was sort of weak- nothing healthy to eat there. I enjoyed my stay and felt it was a decent value.

We got an attached double room that was spacious and loved the bathroom setup. Separate toilet/shower from sink to get ready! Clean!

The room was clean, but older. I would have liked the staff to tell us that the pool was at the back of the hotel rather than us driving in and seeing another building say indoor pool. It was like we had to go next door to use it which meant we stayed put. We asked for our garbage to be removed and they took just what was in the cans instead leaving all the fast food bags we had with our breakfast plates in it.

Horrible lack of hospitality!

The staff at this location is super friendly. And the room was very clean. It is clear that this hotel is a bit older and in a less-developed part of Downtown San Antonio, however I feel like the hotel staff is doing an excellent job with the upkeep of the building, and I never felt unsafe at any point during my stay.
