Ordered 2 beers for a $17 total. Now that the charges have come through in the bank statement, it is $37. When I called, the receptionist said “The receipt says “beer”.”

I have stayed at this hotel many times before. And I generally love the property. This time it was not up to the usual standards. Rooms were not as clean as they used to be.
- 5/5
Nice clan rooms very comfortable bed and pillows . Nice amenities like the body wash and zeology shampoo and conditioners

receptionist was in bad mood. there was kids above us making loud noises for several hours. when reported , they shrugged it off. I know that not much could be done, we weren't greeted when entering and nothing when we left. I choose this place because of good reviews, not all the staff was rude, just the main one that should be more attentive. I'm so disappointed lack of concern from staff. not all of them.

Have to pay for breakfast and pool wasn't available!
- 3/5
The swimming pool was out of order (closed)…disappointing! And….there was a very big, very black, cockroach in the bathroom who defied capture!! Beware!
- 5/5
The only negative was that their pool was closed due to some issue...and I can't fault them for that as maintenance/upkeep/repair issues can happen any time, any place.

A great location to the Tobin and on the quiet side of the Riverwalk. Our room was clean but the hallways and public areas are a little dated. We would stay here again.
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious. Chastity was great The pool was closed.
- 4/5
Location is nice. Room was large and nicely organized. Staff was pleasant. The pool was not in service during our three day trip. I understand things happen but I picked the hotel for this reason. I suggest calling to see if it's operating before you book. Other than that it was a decent place to stay.

The hotel looks much nicer in the online photos than it does in person. The rooms were outdated, and the beds were some of the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on. The staff was, for the most part, rude, disrespectful, and unhelpful. I requested extra towels and bedding during my stay, but they never arrived. Instead of being accommodating, most employees came across as snarky and acted like helping guests was an inconvenience. The pool wasn’t even working, which was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. On top of that, valet parking cost $100 for just two nights, which felt excessive. The only positive part of our experience was the valet attendant. He was friendly, courteous, and the only employee who made us feel welcome. To make matters worse, when I called I wasn’t given accurate information about the property or its amenities. Had I known the true condition of the hotel, that the pool was unavailable, and what the overall experience would be like, I WOULD HAVE DEFINITELY STAYED SOMEWHERE ELSE !! For a hotel charging over $700 for a two-night stay, I expected clean, comfortable accommodations, courteous staff, and the amenities that were advertised. Unfortunately, this hotel failed to deliver on all of those expectations. I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I chose this hotel because of a visit from about 16 years ago. While the property was clean, I had to keep requesting towels and toiletries from housekeeping which should be replenished daily. They removed all microwaves from individual rooms and placed one in the hall for each floor which is an inconvenience. The quality of the hotel has diminished from previous years. The staff wasn’t bad, most were friendly. And expensive parking cost with limited parking spaces. I was disappointed, was excited reminiscent of my last stay. I could’ve booked a motel 6 and got better housekeeping, a microwave and free parking for a cheaper price. I stepped up my booking for a fancier experience that wasn’t fancy.
- 2/5
Parking is very expensive
- 5/5
Stayed in a balcony room was as promised I would just be sure to specify that you would like a river walk side balcony
- 5/5
Spacious, updated room and nice bathroom and great shower. The restaurant downstairs has nice staff and very convenient. You can walk to the Riverwalk from the hotel patio. I loved that it was quite peaceful on the Riverwalk, even on a Friday night it was quiet. I'd return and recommend!

Everything was excellent
- 5/5
This hotel was very cute and had a very Tuscan vibe. The particular room we were in was huge and was tucked away in a corner with a little bump out balcony with an over look of the Riverwalk and pool. The location is very quiet compared to other main hotels on the Riverwalk and it is about a 30 minute walk on the Riverwalk to get to the main Square with all the food, people and attractions.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere made us feel relaxed and at home. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. We look forward to staying here again in the future!
- 4/5
Nice property, excellent location and polite staff. Not a fan of whatever they are using for an air freshener or cleaning solution; our room had a really strong smell.
- 4/5
It was a cute nice, hotel. Parking is very wonky though and I wasn’t prepared or have to pay for valet being it was the best option because there is no nearby free area to park for hotel guests. There is no parking lot what so ever, so my best option was to pay valet which is 52 a night. That is a lot. But other than that the stay was great.
- 5/5
Great location, breakfast, and rooms.
- 2/5
First floor was a terrible floor to be on. Loud, dirty, messy, and disorganized. The premise was not kept clean at all. No one seemed to care at all. Even the cleaning staff was loud. Def not a place I would recommend or stay at again.
- 2/5
I Stayed here for 3 nights in June 2026. I found my room to be large but very dark, with an unclean floor, no hot water in my shower, and an unpleasant odor in my room. Lots of deferred maintenance is evident at the property with burnt out lights by the pool, crooked light posts, patio furniture missing cushions, etc. All in all, this property is well located to the Riverwalk attraction, and close to the Tobin Center, but it has not been well maintained or cleaned, making the rooms uncomfortable and the stay less pleasant than it could be.
- 5/5
Great location! Beautiful rooms and friendly staff
- 3/5
The hotel is quiet and nice but lacks parking. Upon arrival you will be notified that if you are not a IHG Member you either valet for about $52 a night or use city streets or lots which still run between $42-36 a night. The hotel also only allows late check out for members as well. Thankfully these issues didn’t put too much of a damper on our stay. I did like the room size and the breakfast menu options. Also our room had a nice view from the balcony over looking the riverwalk and outdoor lounge area. So beside certain amenities only being for member who book exclusively through the hotels site I did enjoy my stay but wouldn’t stay there again due to those issues as well. I also would like others to know about these things since I wasn’t aware before my stay.

The front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. Housekeeping maintained the room to the highest standard, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Even the concierge and support staff were consistently courteous, knowledgeable, and eager to assist. What sets this hotel apart is the level of care and dedication the staff show to their guests. Their positive attitudes and commitment to excellent service created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for not just a great place to stay, but an unforgettable hospitality experience.

Stay was friendly, but hotel was dirty, patio cushions ripped, tables dirty, elevators dirty. Not worth the price.

Enjoyed our stay. Very comfy & quiet. Easy walk to River walk restaurants
- 2/5
I stayed for 4 nights and no one came to clean my room the entire stay. I even tried to coordinate cleaning time with the front desk several times. They kept saying the cleaners said there was a dnd song on my door when there was not. Overall okay stay but I wouldn’t stay again.
- 5/5
Was very nice, clean, and cozy

great hotel and wonderful spot during the holidays

Convenient property right across from excellent entertainment.
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, convenient location.
- 5/5
THe rooms were very clean , staff very friendly
- 3/5
No complimentary breakfast available. Had dining area on site at your cost. HAD to use valet parking at $52 per night even though my car remained in the same spot for the 1st night that i had pulled into the hotel. VERY noisy with slamming doors and screaming in hallway til a few minutes past midnight. But worst of all was the maintenance work on roos right above us starting at 10 am. And contuing til 5 pm with hammering and drills. Couldnt rest at all.
- 5/5
Everything was good at this facility. The room, the staff, the location was nice and quiet. Close to downtown. I’m very satisfied
- 4/5
The room has a really weird layout and tiny shower area. Self-parking is sold out but we literally just parked on the street (metered) and save 50+ dollars. Other than that room is clean and staff are friendly!
- 5/5
It was just a wonderful experience!!
- 3/5
From the last time my wife and I had stayed here. Which was a few years ago it has not been the same. It seems not as strict to when it first opened up. And now the hotel next door is sort of over taking all the credit. And in order to stay in the competition with other hotels they need to step it up. Make some up grades to the carpets and really spend some money on the door locks and the safety of your guest. I use to live this place but it has really let it self go not by much but it’s going there. The furniture was a little out dated. So the room we stayed in had the tv stand where the drawers wouldn’t stay closed and we had a room with the window that had the loud ac unit in it. House keepers did not look friendly or happy.
- 5/5
It was great!
- 4/5
Hotel was clean and staff friendly. Access to the riverwalk is right out the door but it is at least 20 min walk to the shops/dining areas.
- 1/5
3 inch Cockroaches...Terrible DOG/PEt smells. The Staff was terrible. The food service manager is "the worst" mean, rude, and nasty "Ruben"!! The staff was totally NON responsive.... NO, compensation for a TERRIBLE smelling room and 3 inch Roaches. AVOID/TERRIBLE!! JUST simply, BAD, REALLY BAD, TERRIBLE PROPERTY..........AVOID at all cost!! The HOTEL staff is terribly trained...The Valet guys just sit around and are not helpful... Compared to other Hotel Indigo props....where the staff is excellent, helpful and courteous...... IHG needs to make a complete overhaul of the terrible staff!!
- 4/5
The only thing we did not like was the view…it was a view to the wall of the building next door. Was hoping a nicer view since we were celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary there.
- 5/5
Very clean room and bathroom. Nice and spacious room.
- 4/5
There are not parking lots near by at a affortable prices!
- 5/5
The balcony was so awesome and the river walk was directly behind the hotel with access to it
- 5/5
Room was spacious.
- 4/5
The property is on the newer extension of the riverwalk, far from the hub of the Riverwalk shops and restaurants. It is a long walk, pretty, but not much to see or do until you finally get to the original section. The street level area in front of the hotel is mostly boarded up and abandoned buildings.
- 3/5
Also there are additional fees/deposits that ranges from 50$-200$
- 5/5
The staff was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile or suggestion for places to visit nearby. My room was spacious and well-kept, with a great view and all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially enjoyed the easy access to restaurants and attractions along the river, but it was also nice to come back to such a welcoming and quiet place at the end of the day. Highly recommend Hotel Indigo for anyone visiting San Antonio—you’ll get both comfort and convenience in one spot!
- 4/5
Right next to the riverwalk and close to restaurants and bars
- 3/5
The location is advantageous if you are spending a lot of time on the Riverwalk. It is still a 20 minute trek to most things. The staff are helpful. The alcoholic drinks are good and the bartenders are really nice and helpful. It has a nice patio if you do not mind sharing with smokers. Bottom line: you are paying for location. I did not see anything above average in this location.
- 5/5
The staff at desk and restaurant were very nice and attentive
- 5/5

Everything excellent

This is not the first time we stay at the Indigo Hotel San Antonio. So I have made this one of my favorite places to stay when visitong here. Nevetheless our only recommendation to the hotel would be to have more affortable parking so we could make Indigo Hotel the only hotel we would choose to stay here eim San Antonio.
- 5/5
Nice hotel property
- 4/5
Time . Beds very clean and comfortable. Easy access to the Riverealk
- 4/5
Spacious rooms, friendly staff, but disorganized, and shorthanded at the valet service at the time, so I had to wait for the vehicle for a while; and the entrance area, while well very ornate and historical looking, was tight because of all the cars left there and so had trouble getting my tundra out. The hotel was gracious enough though to make up for valet difficulties by treating us to a free breakfast. I would stay there again though, definitely
- 5/5
The property was clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay again.
- 4/5
Was told parking was free and it was not . Not happy about 65 a day
