Comfort Suites San Antonio North - Stone Oak

The staff here are wonderful! So helpful and nice. Breakfast was okay. We got a suite with a king size room and it was huge! So much room for me and my baby.

Over all was a great place to stay. Love they have more options for the children to eat!!!

The inside of the commode tank it had mold made my stomach upset. I informed the supervisor. Suggest to please add a chemical the inside Tank on all the rooms. Because SamAntonio has lots of moisture in the air.

Great stay friendly staff.. Room had a funky smell and bed was hard and squeaky.

Our room had bed bugs which I didn’t find out until the second night of staying at the hotel because I woke up with bites and then we checked the bed. When we notified the staff they offered another room and refund for the nights but we did not continue to stay another night. On top of that it was a huge inconvenience to pack our things and find another last minute place to stay. After we left I continued to break out and we had washed all of our clothes and belongings before leaving the hotel. So I went to an urgent care nearby and I was told I contracted scabies. Not only did packing take most of my vacation day but having to pay for a dr visit and on top of that spending more time at a clinic before leaving back home for a 4 hour drive; which put us behind on travel time, also took a lot of our day time. I’m super disappointed with this whole experience and will not be returning to this hotel.

The location to where we were planning to be visiting Smell in bathroom where separate toilet was had a musty , urinal smell. Other bathroom where shower was, had a mirror that should have been lit up in center , but part missing, spoke with front desk and and said there’s a ballast or something that needs to be replaced. Without that, bathroom was dark and difficult to get ready in. Also the rest of room was dark as well, needing to open blinds to get light into room. Needs additional lighting or brighter bulbs. At check in was advised of $10 parking fee, not aware if this when booking. At check out receptionist stated would waive the fee being held at bank of $120 ( parking & incidental s for a 3 day stay ) due to military and 1 day early check out due to illness .

When I called to let them know I forgot something things, the lady who answered hung up the phone on me, but before doing so, she told me that it wasn't true that I had forgotten anything.

Loved our stay at Comfort in, from the very spacious room to the front desk staff and the other staff around the hotel; all very helpful and extremely friendly, made our first time experience their a great one!

THEY TOOK 3 DAYS TO CLEAN OUR ROOM WE STAYED FROM JULY 30-AUG 2 THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE THE FRONT DESK STAFF HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF ANYTHING NO TYPE OF COMMUNICATION, I WOULDNT NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

We had a bad experience there. Our car was broken into along with 9 other cars. We had to leave the place and find another place to stay. We also had to purchase a new window. They do not have any security there, also this happens every night. I do not recommend staying there!!! Not safe!!!

Everything was good untill we walked out of the place over night they had 7 cars broken into lots of glass all over the parking lot and I felt like it’s a common occurrence I felt the staff wasn’t worried about the situation so keep in mind if you decide to book

Loved staying here, price is perfect and it’s close by to a lot of restaurants and the area was nice . Room was perfect for my family size and free parking!!!

I had no problem with the hotel. Hotel was great actually. A problem tho which is going on at hotels in this area is people busting the windows out of cars stealing stuff. Our first night there some people busted in to approximately 8 cars. For that reason, I recommend staying elsewhere. Check reviews very carefully as this particular hotel has been hit several times. Be careful

The size of the rooms was good. The hotel stunk BO and rotten food, parking is a nightmare, rooms were dingy and gross, AC leaks in the room, carpets disgusting, breakfast mediocre, and rooms seriously outdated. This facility was more like Budget Inn or prostitution hotel.

The room was big and spacious however the sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable. Need updating and I didn’t like the breakfast, the orange juice taste like water and the sausage was terrible and the pool area was dirty and not kept clean

It was dirty. Our room smelled like smoke. The dining area was always dirty. A whole bunch of cars were broken into during the night.

Clean room and shower we're clean.

We have stated at this hotel over the last 20 years multiple times. Each time it is not as good as the time before.

Unfortunately, on our second night, there were approximately 10 vehicle break-ins in the hotel parking lot. We had two vehicles, and both had their windows broken. This was a very stressful and upsetting experience during what was supposed to be a relaxing trip. While we understand that the hotel may not be directly responsible for criminal activity, we were disappointed by the lack of response after the incident. The hotel did not offer any compensation or goodwill gesture, despite the significant inconvenience and expense we experienced. We also would have appreciated stronger security measures and more support from management. Because of this experience, we would be hesitant to stay here again.

I had to hunt for the clerk to check-in as she was outside smoking a cigarette. Free wifi was advertised but I did not find any. Posted sigh said" do not use room towels at the pool." There were none at the pool. The keycard reader was broke at the pool door so I had to call to have someone open the door to get back into the hotel. On the bright side the AC worked very well.

This was the worst hotel ever, they even break in my husband truck and broke the window. I would never stay at this cheap ass hotel anymore.

If you stay here, don't plan on talking to anyone. I stood at the front desk for about 25 minutes trying to check in. The rooms look like they have seen some stuff. There is a fun smell of mold and cleaning products having a healthy fight. I'm pretty sure the shower was make of repurposed floor tiles. This place served its purpose for me, as I was looking for a place to get a few hours sleep before flying out of SA. If you plan on staying more than a few hours, keep shopping.

The air conditioning had a rancid smell the whole time, the door to get back into the hotel from the pool was broken. The staff and breakfast were amazing! Archie was the highlight of the hotel for our kids.

I want to start off by saying even for the price this is was pretty bad and I’ve stayed at some dingy looking hotels before for cheaper than this and this has been the worst experience so far. I was here with my family and my parents had a different room; once I was in my room I got a knock on my door not even 20 minutes later from my mom letting me know there was a puddle of pee in the middle of their bed. They were moved to a new room and not given any financial compensation, however my parents were tired and not willing to argue over it so they got to their new room only to realize that their ac did not work. Needless to say I would not recommend. Spend the 15 dollars more and go somewhere else.

The pool was very dirty, had trash in it so was unavailable. That was disappointing. The air conditioning in our unit was releasing the condensation into the carpet which was soaked. They did come in and repair it the next day.

Our stay was great! Breakfast was really good and the hotel was very clean. Many store, restaurants, and a movie theatre near by. We'll be booking again soon.

The staff was extremely courteous. The breakfast was surprisingly elaborate considering the price point. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but having it available was also a nice plus for the price. If we ever have reason to be back in the area, we will define stay again.

Everything was great

The staff was amazing especially the next morning. E traveled with young children and she made them feel welcome. They ran out of food for breakfast before nine. Although it was refilled quickly the sausage was very white. Everyone was polite and worked hard to make our stay a good one. We will definitely be back again.

Affordable stay. Only issue were the beds. Both queens had a sunken bed right in the middle. Which made it super uncomfortable. Other than that, all okay!

Staff is amazing, allowed a late check out by 1 hours which was super helpful! Incredibly kind and inviting. Amenities were fantastic and I was able to watch the Spurs game which I couldn't at all at a previous hotel.

Our check-in was smooth. The front desk staff was friendly. However, one room had a strong musky odor and had very loud neighbors. We were moved, but the new room still had issues; a broken light switch, damaged shower tile, and used amenities left from prior guest. Out of our three day stay only one day, breakfast was acceptable. The other days the eggs were extremely dry and not edible, and the attendant refused to make a fresh batch for other guest. Friendly staff, but room conditions, cleanliness, and breakfast quality needs serious improvement.

AC was great. Lots of electrical outlets at the desk. Movable TV tray was very handy for eating and watching TV. Unique.

Everything was perfect at this hotel from the cleanliness, staff, and parking. I love there was a movie theater across the street. Behind the hotel there was also an HEB and a few other stores in a small shopping center.

Enjoyed the size of the room. It was very clean as well. Breakfast was the only disappointment! Very little to choose from and poorly arranged.

Carpeting (UGH!) throughout the building was old and dirty. Bed mattress had springs sticking up. Pillows, while plentiful(5) felt like they were filled with wads of paper.

The bedspread was filthy. It had not been changed out from the previous occupants and the room had a very strong bad odor like tobacco. We will not stay at this hotel again.

Bathroom was not clean. Urine still on the toilet bowl. Went to buy breakfast because theirs just did not look good. Coffee is basically brown water even if you pick bold. So if you like good coffee this is not it. Staff was friendly and pleasant. Couldn’t really watch tv for long because it kept disconnecting. Just seems like this location uses very inexpensive things. Kept hearing this squeaky noise at all hours. No it was not the people next door or above. Which made it hard to sleep.

Front desk employees were not friendly at all. Only one elevator was were working when there are four floors. We had to wait very long to get to our room. Rooms are very dark. Barely any light fixtures, lamps available. A/C in room doesn't work properly. If you don't have A/C very cold room gets very humid. Breakfast was just okay. Coffe was horrible.

It is nice they serve breakfast but it is same menu everyday (stayed for 4 nights) and very basic. Our room was not cleaned because we were told from the receptionist that we had the please don't disturb sign overnight. I guess they check the tag at 6am and if it is on the door, they don't clean it that day.

The rooms are very large and are always extremely cold, which is great. The only complaint that we have is the parking. If you get in late in the evening, we may have to park pretty far. They do have great security.
