It was easy to get to and was clean. Room was nice. There was only 2 towels but no washcloths, hand towels or mat for shower. No one to remove dirty towels, trash and no ice buckets. Didn't like how there was no one at the front desk and seems that some rooms were rented long term to families who let their children run around the halls all hours of the night.

The first week I stayed the was pretty clean! The second week It started to smell and housekeeping was not that great. I don't if I would ever come back.

There were baby cockroaches in the room, but I did not notice them until the morning, and a terrible smell of poison, I could even feel it in my taste buds. The curtain in the shower even closed let a ton of water out… and there was this weird can that you just did not want to touch hanging from the microwave, probably poison for the roaches. Would not recommended. Definitely not clean.

The greed necessary to tell someone that they'll just go ahead and keep your money knowing that you would be staying at another of their properties, when you immediately reach out for assistance and get crickets in return.

I never stayed . They knew I meant to book at a sister property and attempted to immediately cancel. No reply, just kept the cash. Yeah, I made a mistake, but they made sure not to help fix it. The greed necessary to tell someone that they'll just go ahead and keep your money knowing that you would be staying at another of their properties, when you immediately reach out for assistance and get crickets in return.

This was my husband's and mine first stay with Wood Spring Suites. The staff was very helpful and answered all of our questions. The room was clean and very basic. There was a regular size fridge and a two range stove top, and a laundry basket. The towels were minimal with two bath towels and a wash cloth and floor mat, but no hand towels. We asked for extra towels, but were told we had to return our current ones, which did not help give us any extra towels. There was no hair dryer in the room and apparently none to be given out when requested. The washer and dryers worked with a few out for commission. The property allowed pets which brought forth all sorts of interesting smells going down the hallways. This is an extended stay facility, so do not expect the same service as a motel.

Got up this morning used the bathroom, took the lid off the commode so I could manually flush. Get in the shower, the floor is literally cracked and broken in the tub, almost busted my a..

This hotel is bare bones. Room was clean. However, no amenities. No breakfast. No ice onsite. Only allowed two towels in your room at a time. Bed was a metal frame that creaked every time you moved. No blackout curtains. A/C unit was extremely noisy. Pillows were super flat. It will do in a pinch, but I'll never stay here again.

This hotel is nasty. Stains on the ceiling, floor, towels, and wall. I immediately started calling other rooms but everyone was booked due to all the activities going on. I would never stay here again.

- cheap - Clean for the most part - Adjustable A/C - stores such as QT, Waffle House, and Dutch Bros within walking distance Cons: - Room service only happens once while staying there - Our fridge didn’t work Overall I would definitely stay again.

The front desk lady was amazing. She was so helpful even under the stressful situation. The manager on the other hand was horrible. He was sending messages through her, but never speaking with customers himself nor was he at the location and he was the one randomly canceling rooms. There were only 2 big and 2 small towels in room that sleeps 4. We had to buy our own towels. It stated they had the option for us to purchase pots and pans but that was not true. In order to use the stove, we had to buy from store as well. The room smelled stale, shower head had a crack in it and water sprayed everywhere. Overall the worst experience I've EVER had with a hotel.

Kitchen with no dishes or pots and pans. No soap or shampoo. No breakfast. No pool
- 1/5
The room was in bad condition when we got there, they had left the window open so when we got there the windowsill and floor were wet. The entire building has a horrible smell. Abigail i think is her name, who works night shift front desk, is probably the rudest, most unprofessional, and vile person we met during our 4 days in TX. Southern hospitality does not exist at this location. Not to mention for some reason the toilet wasnt flushing, so we thought it was clogged, asked her for a plunger and she said "someone must have it because it's not here", so I asked if they only had 1 plunger in the whole building and she hung up on me (calling in from my cell because the room phone wasnt working). Never ever again.

Worst place I have ever experienced
- 1/5
We were in town from Houston visiting for my sisters surprise 60th birthday party My husband went to the front office to ask for at least the hair dryer and they said they did not have any. Sadly and quite furious I had to leave for the surprise birthday party with wet hair in 34 degree weather and naturally freezing. When we returned back to the hotel there no one in the front desk it was completely closed and the floors were completely dirty with dry mud all in the front entry
- 1/5
The room was absolutely filthy. Dry food in the sink, grime in the toilet, no shower curtain. There were no bed sheets, no pillow cases. Dirt all over the floor. Smelled like a 12 pack of cigarettes. Window was wide open when I walked in. Genuinely the grossest hotel I have ever seen.

Waited 15 mins in the Lobby to get checked in. Bed coverings had stains and the bathroom towels had brown spots and stain. The other guest were noisy throughout the night. I believe the young lady at the front seat was asleep or preoccupied and that’s why our wait to check in took the time it did.

Arrived and room was not clean. They moved us rooms but the new room was oily and had no soaps. The towels in the room were stained and the phones did not work. Tried to get with management and they denied it. People were partying in the parking lot with alcohol and cigarettes at 11 at night. Hotel smelled of marijuana and chemicals. No amenities
- 2/5
This place was unclean, no accommodation , terrible sleeping conditions and noisy. There people playing music in the parking lot all night.
- 5/5
It was a nice place.
- 1/5
Part of my disappointment is my own fault because I did not research the hotel before I booked the room. However, this hotel provides little to nothing as far as amenities or basic things you’d expext. I found one bar of soap but nothing else. I could have at least used a blow dryer. There was downstairs in the lobby, but nobody told me so I went without!
- 4/5
Good overall stay
- 4/5
I like the staff. She was very nice. Liked the parking lot. Very clean
- 1/5
This is not a motel, it is a long term stay property. The room comes with nothing: No shampoo or soap, hair dryer, iron (when asked, I was told people bring those thinks with them). Bathroom electrical didn't work but they did fix that. The TV did not work and they didn't fix this. You could hear EVERYTHING that was happening in adjoining rooms and there were nightly parties in the parking lot. The front desk has no attendants past 10PM. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere

The facility said that it was smoke free our whole floors smelt like a cigarette bomb lit off. Causing my husband to wake up in profusely puke for about three hours. Had to re-book for a new hotel that morning.

I loved the girls at the front desk they were amazing 😍

Room was canceled by manager without notice. He was not in office and out of town when i arrived. Had a elder in wheelchair and needed the arrangements I requested when I made reservation weeks prior to arrival. Not happy at all. Will not stay at this location.

We did not feel safe and left early. The property is terrible.
- 3/5
Upon entering it appears to be a pleasant place to stay. The scent is inviting until you get past the front desk through the door leading to guest rooms. The halls are filled with every scent imaginable( marijuana, pets, body odor, various food odors etc.) Even after housekeeping has done what they call cleaning it’s still never quite a pleasant scent left behind. Not sure what cleaning products they use. But it definitely misses the mark. If planning to stay for an extended period I would bring your own sheets, pillows, towels etc. The towels & sheets provided are dingy. Rats have been spotted outside property on the ground & crawling down the blg. on several occasions. I just did everything I could do to make it my own… provided my own niceties ( towel, sheets, pillows, fragrance plug ins, shower gel, etc.) to make it feel like as much like home as I could as it was the most reasonably priced for the long length of time I needed. On the upside, room was spacious, loved the kitchenette ( provided my own pots & pans) & laundry room is a nice size with newer washers & dryers. I washed mainly in the morning when the washers had just been cleaned by housekeeping as a lot of the guests are construction workers with extremely dirty laundry. Price is the most reasonable in the area if you can get past the other obstacles.
- 4/5
Our stay was good. Shower/Tub drain maybe clogged. We only stayed one night. Breakfast or even a continental breakfast would be nice. Apart from that we had a good experience.
- 1/5
This is by far my worst stay at any hotel. The occupants in the room above me were stomping around making so much noise from the time we arrived at about 9pm to 3am. I could not sleep. I called front desk to make a noise complaint and all the lady said was i will see what i can do...excuse me.."I will see what i can do!" Well obviously nothin was done because i made the call at 1:45 am and the noise did not stop until after 3am. I have a long day at work today so i was nkt well rested. This hotel was the worst of all my stays at any hotel so far!
- 3/5
We saw two baby roaches in the bathroom.
- 1/5
Horrible service by “Barry” .. I was up priced what Expedia had priced me before . Gave me a hard time getting my room , very unpleasant , my room was closed from the top lock lever thing and when I asked to get help to get into room front desk guy gave me an ugly look As well as verifying again if it was my room or not when I had just gotten the room 10 minutes before from him..
- 5/5
There is some bed smell out side room in lobby area but overall excellent
- 4/5
There was no shampoo, conditioner or soap
- 3/5
since the first night, both me & my husband & I got bitten very bad by something. we checked the bed and saw nothing but continued to be bitten. we went to by bug spray which did not help. we suffered severe bug biting the entire stay. we couldnt really report anything because there was rarely anyone there. also, getting in & out the building was a pain. you had to use your key to get in even during business hours. there are HORRIBLE smells throughout the entire building to where you had to hold your breath and walk super fast.
- 5/5
I was met by a friendly professional gentleman and check in was seamless. He informed me of the facility and expectations. Would stay here again!
- 5/5
Staff are very friendly and helpful for the visually impaired.
- 5/5
Great stay. Check in was fast and friendly. Our room was really nice and large. Walls were a bit thin, but hallway was quiet.
- 4/5
It was not to far from comiccon activites
- 4/5
Really, really bad customer service if you can't even put your phone down to help someone! Other than that, the room was nice, bed was comfortable, and the check-out clerk was also very nice.
- 1/5
The person working the front desk was incredibly rude and should be fired for his total disrespect!! I will never, ever go back. 👎👎👎👎👎
- 2/5
We planned to stay 2 nights but checked out after the first night. If we had not arrived so late, we would not have stayed at all. Immediately upon exiting the elevator we smelled a musty, mildew smelled. When we entered our room, it smelled of fresh paint. Later we realized they had apparently tried to paint over mold in the bathroom. It still seeped through though and was visible. The woman at the front desk was very nice about the situation but she could only do so much. We are still waiting on the refund from the 2nd night of our stay.
- 3/5
Hotel was nice. Clean, comfy. However you have to pay to get new towels given and the people at the front desk were rude, especially the bald dude.
- 1/5
Loud noise all night people hanging out smelling rugs in hall ways . This place need to be shut down. The walls are too thin no sense of privacy
- 1/5
Noisy and out of control customers. Will NEVER stay there again
- 1/5
The hotel smelled when we walked in. Front desk was somewhat helpful I guess she was ok. But got to room and someone was in my room laying up! Had to go back down and she had to put us in another room. Smelled like marijuana in halls. Very sketchy but we had to sleep somewhere! Had 2 towels luckily we had one for my son. Won't stay again!
- 3/5
The property is short staffed but that’s what happens when you book cheap to affordable housing. Overall it’s an average place to stay.
- 3/5
Our room didn’t get cleaned and our dirty towels were not replaced, we had to take our dirty towels to the service desk to get clean ones, the smell is not pleasant
- 4/5
Easy access to surrounding areas and an HEB down the street for groceries. It’s pet friendly and was my main reason for the stay. Maybe I missed the pet fee during reservation but I didn’t see it listed and I was charged extra upon check in that I wasn’t expecting. The hotel had a pet smell but that’s to be expected. There is a dedicated pet area outside with poop bags and a trash can. Rooms are on the smaller side (I had a one queen bed room) but include a kitchenette with a full size fridge and microwave. No kitchenware at all to cook with though. Not even a fork or spoon or dish towel. AC worked great! Wardrobe/closet area was fairly small and in the open but is functional. Walls are kinda thin. I could hear alarms and tv’s on and the people above us walking around. If you’re not a hard sleeper you may want an end room or upstairs room. Towels are thin and I had to request a new set since they didn’t come around and clean the room the next day. Hard to reuse if they’re still wet from the day before. It was a two night stay so I’m not sure if they only clean every couple of days. Coffee was available in the lobby but not in the rooms. Also, no toiletries except one small bar to wash hands with. The front desk people that helped me on two different occasions were nice.
- 4/5
Things to know: Located off a freeway, one-way frontage road; very congested during rush hours. No quick access to HEB near by so muddy plan to stop before heading to hotel, but there's a QT gas station next door open 24-7 for quick essentials. There's no desk service from 10pm-9am; just an emergency phone line. There's a lot of day workers that hang around outside drinking beer on tailgates, but they didn't bother anyone. This hotel offers a kitchenette but you must buy cookware or provide your own. The guy at check in was a little short with responses, but overall friendly. The room was clean, however the bathroom had mold on the ceiling above shower. The walls are thin so you can hear neighbors. All in all a comfortable place and would recommend.
- 2/5
Every time I left the room or used the elevator there was a different smell present. It was very disconcerting. Furthermore the late night check in process was asinine, and could be streamlined.
