When we got to our room, we noticed a pool of water on the floor. We contacted the front desk staff who immediately switched us to another room. They were also very helpful because we required extra time to vacate the accommodation. They extended our check out time by 1 hour and did everything in their power to ensure the passengers did not experience another delay.

It is starting to look dated and worn but is still very comfortable

There was a hole in the wall where the cable jack came out. The elevator also had a weird odor. Staff was accommodating.

On January 21, 2026, around 11:50 PM CST, while staying at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Round Rock, Texas, I experienced aggressive, hostile, and threatening behavior from the nighttime front desk employee. The interaction escalated to a point where I genuinely feared for my personal safety while inside the hotel. When I attempted to de-escalate the situation and asked the employee to identify himself so the incident could be properly documented, he refused to provide his name, stating that he did not have to give it. That refusal, combined with the employee’s behavior, only increased my concern and left me without any immediate way to report the individual involved. This incident had nothing to do with Expedia or the booking process. The issue was entirely related to the conduct of a hotel employee and the unsafe environment that resulted from it. I have stayed in many hotels over the years and have never encountered behavior like this from a front desk employee. Guests should be able to feel safe in a hotel, especially late at night. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I hope management and the brand take this seriously and ensure that future guests are not placed in a similar situation.

Parking was convenient and well lit. You have to walk past the smoking section to enter the building, the breakfast area is adjacent to the smoking section so we couldn't partake of the continental breakfast. Our original room, a Jacuzzi suite, had "an AC intake valve that brought in air from the smoking area" according to the front desk person. His solution to us not being able to stay in our room was to downgrade us to a basic room as far from the front as you can be, and give us a $7 discount. Online it was a $15 difference in room price per day and we were there for 3 days. So instead of being conveniently on the first floor, we had to use the elevator and walk to the other end of the building. I'm third trimester pregnant. The other room was adequate but we would have stayed somewhere else if we had known.

Room was not room reserved and was dated. Office chair was broken. Mini frig made loud noises.

The parking was perfect. I didn’t rate breakfast because we checked 5:45am. But overall loved our stay.

Clean room but thin walls...and if I could make one change it would be to have all the lightbulbs be the warm light, instead of the cold white light (it felt like a sterile hospital vs a warm inviting space).

First off if you have a nice car it will get broken into. They have no cameras so they get off free. Breakfast was horrible. Rooms were decent and gym wasnt bad.

It was a hot, rainy day, we walked in and the ac in the room was off. The room was so uncomfortable! It took hours (4-5) for the room to be tolerable. Please have your ac on for room you have guests booked for.

Our room was in need of serious cosmetic maintenance. There was no list of tv stations or details about in-hotel amenities in the room. These things were probably available online, but old-school paper works for 20th-century guests. The breakfast offerings were adequate but certainly not memorable.

Check in was quick but 100.00 dollar deposit came out of left field. 4 days later still haven't released funds. On checking out no printout provided because we booked online! Requested rollin shower got tub, we managed but not what we had booked. Very nice room and safe.

I was only there one night. My room and the hall smelled musty. There was a huge dead roach in the middle of the bedroom floor. The floor needed a good sweep and deep scrub, you could see several spots that were missed. I found a dried out contact lens stuck to the floor by the bathroom.

Great hotel for the price. Great location.

We got placed in our room and used the toilet ( only #1 lol) and it wouldn’t flush- it was broken so I called the desk and he ask if I wanted him to bring ME a plunger to fix it- I said no it’s not clogged, it’s broken…can you send a maintenance guy? He said they don’t have one on sight and he’d just put us in another room. That was fine except having to repack everything all up again - but in the end it was fine. The furniture in the suite we stayed in was stained and needed some steam cleaning- I didn’t even sit on it.

Easy to get in to, parking was good, restaurants all around, the girl at the front desk was AWESOME and beds were comfy!

It is an older building…their policy made me uncomfortable as the clerk copied my drivers license and my credit card out of my view. I thought it was odd and asked why and if I could have a copy of what was scanned? I was told no politely because it was policy. He let me know that if I had any question or wanted a copy that I could call management during business hours. Other than that it was a decent stay.

Accidentally selected the wrong date, refused to change the date, refused to refund it, I had to get a room for that night and just have a room for the next night even though I wouldn’t be there. Was told by multiple employees that management told them not to give there number, email or transfer people to them about an issue like I was having!!! Total bs! It was an honest mistake and something that should have been simple to fix! We made the reservation about an hour before we got there so there was no reason to act the way they did about it! Expedia is to blame as well as they refuse to help either!!!

The staff and manager were very respectful. Always were attentive and had a solution to everything. Great people and atmosphere

The staff was especially helpful and kind. We were traveling with a 2 and 5 year old and Audrey treated them so well. They were so excited to stay and she always greeted them.

It was what to be expected for the nightly rate. They clean the rooms every 3rd day which we weren't informed of when we checked in, but other than that it was good.

Convenient to highway for visiting other areas. Downside is that it has slipped into "servicing rooms only every 3 days" as have other flags.

The breakfast is very adequate. Front desk manager helpful and considerate. The laundry could use a couple speed queens.

Restroom was dirty… hair folicals in tub and sink and walls from previous customers. Walls inside bedroom had stains from food. Fridge barely kept items cool. As soon as we walked into lobby the smell of stale or old furniture or carpet. Facility needs to be upgraded.

The bed and pillows were comfortable and the front desk staff were friendly. It was a great value for its location.

I didn't realize i had to pay for insurance to cancel my stay, if I cancel no refund without insurance, I guess this is a learning lesson.

There were cocroaches in the room. I reported to front desk and she ask. Whas it cocroaches or was it a big cricket? I showed her the picture and they gave a different room. And the new room still looked dirty.

It’s an old hotel remodeled pretty decent not terrible

Dated, some low budget renovations in the room some years ago and the general area is old. The room had a clean laminate floor. Everywhere else the floor has a very old and smelly carpet, elevator has an unbearable stale smell. AC in the room exhausts in the bedroom and sounds like a helicopter. The smell in the room is old stale air, AC has probably never been cleaned. Room was clean, staff at the front helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast 2/10. Only 3 hot dishes, scrambled eggs that smelled bad, sausage links that were disgusting and tasted frozen burned, and potatoes that did not try after the first two. Waffle machine, cereal, coffee and one kind of yogurt. Very limited selection and quality subpar. Juice machine had two orange flavors, one was good the other completely water down, and apple juice. Walking distance to eateries near by. Overall, below average for one night stay.

I am not picky. I only want clean. The hotel was clean. The 3 cockroaches I saw in the stairwell thought so too.

The beds were really really hard. The second and last night our room flooded with water on the floor. We had to leave before breakfast was open without showering. I am expecting the manager to comp that night. The staff was great.

Room was not serviced during the stay. Had to ask for clean towels. Facility looks worn and needs a refresh. Guessing property isn’t profitable.

What I didn't like was you could turn the handle on the hot water all the way over the hot and it would come out room temperature, you have to turn it straight-up-and-down to get hot water out.

Only thing was the little refrigerator not working and breakfast (was not full menu)

I wish we had known the pool was closed before booking. We’d have still stayed, just made back up plans rather than to swim at the pool.

REASONABLE PRICING AND REQUESTED LOWER FLOOR AND RECEIVED

The room was not fully cleaned upon checking.

There was no maid/housekeeping between nights of my stay. I also fou d what looked like a ball of hair on the floor in front of the closet. Breakfast eggs and sausage patties on Monday morning were cold andbasically flavorless.

There was no notice when booking that they were doing a roofing job there. Very limited parking as be entire side of the parking lot was blocked off. Extremely noisy!!! Starting beating and banging on the roof starting at 6:00am. I definitely will not book at this location again.

The hotel was dated and offered minimal services. Staff was pleasant but didn’t seem to have adequate support to provide a higher quality of service.

The front desk people were excellent. They were friendly and efficient despite technical difficulties. They were quick to help solve our need for new towels. Traveling with young children wasn't an issue for safety. I appreciated that even though the hotel was full, I was not bothered by noise. Directions are needed for the television. Tell me how to quickly get programming for children! There was an odor on the way to the pool and the pool is small...sadly it was later at night that we looked at it too and it didn't look open even though it was near 100 that day. We would stay here again when visiting family.
