Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront

We were visiting family in the area the first afternoon- evening. When returning we thought it would be cleaned but it wasn’t!! Front desk asked if we requested it to be cleaned - since when do we have to request that? Also when we arrived none of the bathroom bottles of moisture lotion, shampoo, conditioner etc were filled! They were empty. The parking is a choice we weren’t aware of - $15 a day for self parking (climbing several steps in 100 degree weather) or valet for only $10 more… wishe we would have known. Nice property though in general beautiful pool, outdoor bar/restaurant, Starbucks inside… exercise room.. restaurant.

It was our wedding anniversary staycation, it was quiet and lovely, the view of the pool over looking the lake from our window was romantic. The hotel is quite sophisticated, Professional staff. Breakfast 5 star quality and tasty. Overall experience is satisfactory. Would like to come back with the kids.

My husband and I were celebrating our 20-year anniversary and wanted a staycation near our home. The Rockwall/Lakefront area is a nice area, and I fell in love with it the first time I visited due to the water; they have live music occasionally, many places to eat, etc. We decided to book this hotel for two days and paid extra for a lakefront view. Sadly, we didn’t enjoy our stay here. I’ll start with the positives: the check-in was a breeze. When we got to our room, we could view the lake, but the view was obstructed by a gazebo or something that was attached to the building. The room was not worth paying $100 extra for. Then when I inspected the room, it had not been thoroughly cleaned. The bathroom was dirty. You also get charged for everything: WiFi, parking, and breakfast. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Finally found a desk clerk who seemed nonchalant in getting valet until firm in request. Bar service slow at 9:30 and a bit snippy when asked for a menu. Day staff very helpful and pleasant

We originally booked a room with the resort view but upon checking in the front desk staff said they are running behind on room. She did not offer any options to wait or to be in a different type of room. Instead she went ahead and got us a room. I understand that the rooms we originally booked were available but she did not even offer any options. But anyway the gentleman when we checked out was helpful. We got a refund from the room rates difference.

The location of the hotel was amazing, literally walking distance to good restaurants, dessert stores, and the movie theater. The cleanliness and staff services were fantastic. Loved how there was a live event one of the days we stayed, at the park, all we had to do was walk outside of the hotel to enjoy it.

The property was awesome and convenient for what we needed for a getaway. However, as hot as it was outside, the cold water inside was unbearable. Also the room had very poor circulation, so it was hard to cool down between those two things.

Great comfortable place to stay with many wonderful restaurants close by. Beautiful views of the lake.

We have stayed here a couple of times, and it's a great property. The young man who checked us in was very nice and helpful. The lobby and room was very clean! Our room had a lot of space in it. We also really enjoyed the pool! It's a great central location for lots of good places on the harbor.

Beautiful place it really is a getaway vacation within the Dallas area. I cannot see myself staying anywhere else on our future visits.

Spent over $800 to stay here for 3 nights and it was a terrible experience. Literally just scam you for every dollar. Paid parking which they didn’t explain, over priced drinks with 20% automatic tip, and someone charging alcohol to my room at the pool (which I disputed and was later refunded). This hotel sucks. Total waste. The pool is the only good thing about it.

We got charged twice, still no refund, and then got charged another $100 for or security deposit. Room was dirty with toothpicks all over floor and trash not taken out. Pool area was gross under tables and between beach chairs. Staff wasn’t helpful and gave us obviously incorrect information about refund Information. Went to the restaurant for supper, was told that we had to go out to the pool bar to order food, went to the pool bar and they said they were closed to go back Inside and order from inside bar. Finally got our supper order in at inside bar. Went to eat outside at the pool and got kicked out by rude man. It felt like chaos and very disorganized our whole weekend here. Will not be returning and I hope we actually do receive our refund.

The air conditioner would not come on unless you walk past the thermostat, so we were burning up all night. There were no towels at the pool. We.couldnt find any staff members outside in the pool area to ask for towels. Parking is 15.00 a night. It charged my cousin twice for one night. This is absolutely ridiculous. Not worth the high cost of a room.

So I booked this trip for me and my girlfriend she didn’t know that I was surprising her with this hotel the moment she got there she fell in love with it. We both loved it watching the sunset was amazing being around the water was a great feeling it actually healed both of our nervous systems and we felt very calm. We will revisit this hotel in the future.

We enjoyed our stay! The pool and service were great and all staff was helpful. Our room was on the 5th floor, and it was obvious that it was a “pet friendly” room… we did not have a pet. There was a bit of an underlying scent… the room was clean and comfortable otherwise.

Absolutely fabulous greeting staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. From the night manager to the cleaning staff. I will always stay here when I come to Dallas. I forgot how kind and friendly people can be. My grand daughter passed away, and this trip was not going to be a good one. This staff was just so kind and helpful. Helped make a bad situation actually comfortable. Please thank them.

Paid for a room with a view of the water.... got a view of the side of the hotel. Other than that, stay was fine. Just not happy to pay for a room with a view specifically and getting the side of the building.

Rooms are great location is wonderful. Lots of shops and restaurants in the same complex. Staff was less to be desired. Front desk gal was just rude. Clearly did not want to be there and did not want to be helpful.

It's just a beautiful, well maintained property. The Hotel is right on the harbor and the park, right next to some really nice restaurants. This is the second time we were there, it is the perfect getaway.

Fantastic stay at Hilton Rockwall Lakefront!! The lake view was absolutely breathtaking, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a huge selection including eggs, bacon, sausage, lox, fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, juices, and more. The rooms were spacious, the beds were super comfortable, and the sheets were wonderfully soft. Parking is $16. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We were in Rockwall for our sons wedding so we had several rooms. Our group alone had 7 rooms. They did not clean the rooms even though we put the hang tag on the door saying we needed service. They only brought clean towels after I called. The air conditioning in the whole hotel was out for hours. Bar service was extremely slow.

I stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. The AC started going out the first night, but it was tolerable. Saturday I spent the day at the pool. Customer service at the bar was mediocre because no matter what you purchased they already get a 20% tip. When I went back to my room Saturday afternoon, the AC was completely out. I called and was promised it was gonna be fixed within the next 30 minutes. When it wasn’t, I called back again and they said within the next two hours. When it wasn’t and I called again, they offered no options, but I asked for a fan which helped a little. They just kept telling me and promising me that the AC was gonna be fixed. This continued until 10 PM and they couldn’t move me to any other room because it was the entire hotel. I finally fell asleep and it was fixed sometime in the middle of the night. But I got no refund or discount because I booked through Expedia.

This place is fantastic

Couldn't have been happier with my stay here. The room was very clean and comfortable, it had many restaurants in close proximity and a nice view of the waterfront. By far the best stay on my trip.

My favorite place to stay in Rockwall. The Texas Cobb Salad w/Shrimp was amazing for dinner. Breakfast is always delightful, I tried the lobster Benedict and it didn’t disappoint. Chef’s kiss! Cleanliness isn’t every an issue but I clean upon arrival Only complaint was the comfort of the bed after 1 night of rest. This was an issue during our last visit and we had to request extra padding. Outside of the bed’s comfort this hotel stay was pleasant overall.

Never use Expedia for any kind of booking.

Well to start off the room that was offered was for handicapped accommodations through Hotels. And it wasn’t facing the lake. Which we had to pay $130 more for our anniversary weekend stay. Which was two days.. The bed was very uncomfortable the first night. They did however, take care of the valet parking for the two nights. They moved us to a different room, which was not as nice as the first one. But the room had more comfortable bed. Less counter space for our toiletries. They did however, give us a $15 snack credit. There was another manager before we left on Sunday morning that was supposed to get the manager to contact me. I never heard anything from them.

Love this property. Situated on a beautiful lake, with a lighthouse, and the rooms were phenomenal. Staff was very friendly, and I love that there was a Starbucks downstairs. This has become my new favorite place to stay!!!

The space is beautiful. The location gorgeous. Some issues for me: There wasn't a place to fill up a water bottle. It was so loud. SO LOUD. The marble in the lobby is beautiful, but it carries sound. We heard every conversation downstairs, every laugh, every song played in the lobby, and every person walking through in the morning. We even could hear the elevator ding. The beds are super firm and with the partiers in the lobby until the wee hours and the early risers in the lobby right away, we barely slept. I bought ear plugs and it helped, but I wouldn't return due to the noise. We didn't eat at the restaurant. Breakfast isn't included.

Poor noise absorption between connecting rooms. Could hear everything which disrupted our sleep. One night the hallway smelled like weed. Everything else was good. Clean and nice facilities, beautiful views.

This is a lovely property with great views, beds, a nice restaurant, and plenty of parking. The only negative is parking is not free. you have to pay to park your vehicle.

The view of the pool was enjoyable. My room spelled like smoke. Staff at check in was not very helpful. Did not answer questions well and when asked for towels to be brought to room it never happened I finally went down and asked for some. Stay was still relaxing I just expected more from this hotel.
