I was pleasantly surprised. The property and area was so quiet. We normally get the Dallas hotel plague of a youth sports conference or tournament staying at the same hotel. My husband and I both commented that it was so quiet. The bed is super comfortable. The room was so clean. Johnna, the night desk attendant was kind and very professional. The breakfast was fantastic. I mentioned to my husband that I saw a review of someone saying the hotel smelled weird. The halls smell incredible. Like lemon clean!! We’ll be staying here for our dallas trips now.

Clean room and spacious!

Despite having paid for a two-bedroom suite, the front desk staff informed me that the room had been overbooked and was unavailable. Subsequently, they provided me with two different suites, and we opted for the one that was available due to the lack of alternative options.

Staff, Nice gym. The rooms are spacious. The room smelled. Kind of like old socks… and o never once did housekeeping clean the room. I was there 4 days.

However, the room had a strange smell, and the carpet felt sticky when walking barefoot, which made it feel less clean than it looked. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. The waffle maker wasn’t working properly, so the waffles either came out undercooked or fell apart completely. The breakfast area was messy, and the scrambled eggs were a little watery. Overall, it was an okay stay, but with a few improvements to the room condition and breakfast quality, it could have been much better.

The property was well maintained and for the money. It was super convenient to have a kitchen for our leftover restaurant meals as well. Our stay was quite comfortable.

The suite room was clean, but the building itself had a really strong smell. Like if they sprayed a lot of air freshener to avoid the smell of something. The building and hallways are old and outdated. Breakfast was okay, waffle machine was out of service for our stay.

This property is always clean, rooms clean, breakfast area is always clean and the property is as well. Very well kept property! I will recommend this property to anyhow.

BAD: 1 - the internet was terrible and I had connection problems 3 of the 5 nights I stayed, both with my iphone and my Windows PC. Note that I had ZERO problems connecting to wifi with both devices from other locations. 2 - Furniture was awful. The chairs at the table were way too low and the couch was beyond uncomfortable 3 - Towels were very thin

We were very happy with everything except for the bed. The Linens were too small for the bed which made us battle for cover!!

The staff was welcoming, professional, and always willing to help with any questions. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. The location is excellent close to restaurants, shopping, and major highways, making it convenient to get around the Dallas/Richardson area. Overall, this hotel offers great value, excellent service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

My only complaint was housekeeping. They only do light housekeeping every 3 days and a full clean every 5 days. That is fine for me as I don't need someone cleaning up after me on the daily. But on day 3, light housekeeping didn't even include making my bed which I thought was strange. And they removed the extra towels I had requested as well. Which I guess is the main complaint I have; since the towels are small, I would have appreciated having 2 towels per guest as the standard. But overall, I was very happy with Sonesta ES and will return again next time I'm back in Richardson.

The condition of the bedding was so unsanitary and disturbing that I was unable to sleep in the bed. Instead, I remained fully dressed and slept sitting upright on the couch for only a few hours throughout the night. This experience was unacceptable and fell far below reasonable standards of cleanliness, guest safety, and overall sanitation.

Hotel was very dirty. Entire hallway smelled like marijuana. The free breakfast is disgusting. Do not waste your time staying here. We couldn’t even stay our last night because of the strong odor.

The pool didnt work the week that we were there. We also had the smoke alarm beep the entire stay. We called maintenance and they replaced a battery and it was still back to beeping especially after the workday. Would still stay here again. Everything else was great! Grounds, food, staff, room,etc.

The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Well maintained. Quiet & safe property. Smart TVs in the room.

I did like the hotel in general. Only thing is they definitely have roaches. I do not enjoy doing reviews but I genuinely do not like roaches. At all. And Al’s even thought the bed was clean I kept getting bit by something. I honestly do not know what it was.

The hotel is in a wonderful location. The initial appearances average. The lady who assisted me was pleasant until I asked for a room that was not on the first floor. Then she seemed highly irritated but she made the change. Well the hotel was clean there was a musty smell in the hallway. However, my room was in fantastic condition! It was beautifully clean and fresh smelling. It was a very pleasant room to stay in. The breakfast was unappealing but I appreciated it being offered.

Staff could be more professional. They lied. I reserved a room since I had two rooms. I needed them next to or the same floor. I was told yes, and I was giving a room number to later find out my second room was on the 3rd floor. when I mentioned that I was giving a room number, the staff ignored me. I was on 229 the second room was supposed to be 230, instead it was on the 3rd floor. I asked for an extra blanket, I was told no. The staff were not so nice.

We loved that there were 2 separate bedrooms. Adds privacy when all of your travelers are adults. Loved that there was a full coffee pot to make enough coffee for everyone instead of having to wait until we went to breakfast.

Wasn’t as clean

Everything was fine except the shower/tub in room 312A was extremely slippery and dangerous. The tub floor is slick with no tactile coating or safety strips. An accident and potential lawsuit just waiting to happen.

Nice clean and spacious room. very secure. Staff was very kind and professional. He was also knowledgeable. I was very surprised at the add-on fee for my dog. not a deposit but a $150 non-refundable fee.

We really liked our stay, the suite was clean and comfortable, the parking was convenient, the breakfast was simple but GOOD (we really liked that they separated the eggs and the sausage). The staff were very professional, perhaps a little too professional and missing a touch of normal people (when we left, we said that we had a great stay, the response was, "okay").

The room was very spacious! Lots to offer! Home away from home! The bathrooms and bed were comfortable. Front staff was helpful, clear, and concise.

The room was clean, the breakfast was not great. We got a room for 3 people; a king and the pull-out sofa, the sofa bed was broken. We reported it the first night was told that they would send someone up the next day. We had to use the stools and a suitcase to prop it up. Nobody ever came to fix it. We book a 4 day stay, there was no resolution.

Small nasty kitchen roaches under the microwave and in the stove when turned on roaches came out like crazy. Front staff did nothing. Then to make it worse the bed was so hard and unsleepable. We slept on the couch.

All wss good except the breakfast. Milk spoiled. Only regular coffee no decaf. No ice. Eggs so-so. Skipped breakfast after first morning.
