Reviews
Guests have mixed feelings about their stay at the hotel. While some appreciate the cleanliness, comfortable beds, and friendly staff, others express dissatisfaction with the lack of breakfast inclusion, dirty rooms, and poor sound insulation.
- Cleanliness and comfortable beds
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Lack of breakfast inclusion or extra charge for breakfast
- Dirty rooms and bathrooms in some instances
- 3/5
Found a flea on my floor. Definitely isn’t deep cleaned often as I found smudges and food stains on furniture and walls. Breakfast was an extra charge but when I stayed at the Hilton Tru it was complimentary and this one was supposed to be nicer and cost more already.
- 5/5
It’s not walkable to other places Staff was nice They do have a bar Place was clean and nice
- 4/5
It is okay
- 3/5
The kitchen was closed and I was still charge for breakfast.
- 1.5/5
No notice during booking that there was NO FOOD, NO COFFEE!
- 5/5
Clean, conveniently located and staff was incredibly helpful. AC was not working in both rooms and we quickly got rooms with working AC. The dining room was closed but breakfast was provided free of charge. Beds were comfy and front desk at check out was super friendly. It’s nice to wake up with someone who loves their job.
- 3/5
Only one elevator works. No restaurant.
- 5/5
Great location to campus

I highly dislike giving poor reviews because who likes a complainer? and I really try to make the most out of my stays. The pool was the best part of my stay although the scent of Clorox or whatever the cleaning solution is was so strong it stung your eyes upon entering. My room upon entering was very warm. I checked the thermostat it was in 75 along with saying the filter needed to be changed, waited an hour or more it was getting hotter so put it down like to 60 still no use, I called front desk to alert they said someone was coming to check tomorrow morn. I checked out by 11:30 7/5, it was still not checked or fixed. 7/3 night front desk did offer to move me but there were no rooms available for handicapped or a two bed. 7/4 I finally couldn’t take it and plus I had a disabled traveler with me and went down the broken elevator(only 1 side worked). Found out this has been an issue since March. I informed staff again the room air was not working, they didn’t offer I had to ask were there any box fans at least and had to take them to the room myself. House keeping never came anytime the entire weekend. They said you have to request them to come take out trash, get dirty/soiled towels, tidy(although I already will do that myself usually housekeeping will attempt to come, never did). Lastly, roaches on the wall. This hotel is too expensive $305(fri eve-Sunday morn) for service to be so lacking. No free breakfast and an extra $50 deposit and parking fee. Refund coming so thanks.
- 3/5
My AC didn’t work on night 1. Staff was great with moving me to another room for the rest of my stay.
- 1/5
I did not like their hotel rooms
- 4/5
We were given breakfast coupons and we were SO happy! Then, we were told when we went down to the buffet the kitchen had been closed for renovations..weird the clerk gave us coupons knowing the kitchen was closed lol not sure if that was on purpose or not. Other than that, the stay was cool. 4 stars.
- 3/5
Our room had a spot that was wet infront of the bathroom door. Also the tv remote never changed channels.
- 2/5
The water in the pool was very cold and the chlorine level was excessive.
- 3/5
Charging for parking in a suburban environment with ample parking was pretty cheap and desperate in my opinion.
- 5/5
Everything
- 2/5
This hotel is definitely aged. The first room (yes first vs. second) had chips in the dresser, pubic hair on the walls. TVs are antiquated, no streaming, no guide, and horrible picture.
- 1/5
Room was terrible. We had no curtains just open windows we had to put a sheet up. Tv didn’t work. 1 elevator working. 1/10 experience for the price I paid
- 5/5
Staff was great. Very nice hotel with some old issues, but tbs.
- 4/5
The bed was crazy high up…if I hadn’t brought a step stool, I couldn’t have gotten in it. The mattress was too firm, and the top cover was scratchy. My family had an ADA room. That’s what I would get in future to have a bed that is a normal height. Breakfast costs extra. It was pretty good, but we were sad there was no waffle maker! We ate elsewhere our second day. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting! I don’t like that they only clean and service rooms every other day. Yes, I reuse my towels and things generally, but for the price paid, and the reason I love a hotel, is having a housekeeping fairy come every day.
- 5/5
The rooms were very clean. I really enjoyed the Crabtree and Evelyn bath and body products. I loved the pictures of the Texas celebrities on my floor. Great touch! Great artwork in the hotel lobby.
- 5/5
The room is clean
- 4.5/5
Room size and location. Convenient for drop off and pick up at the airport. A lot of people waiting to check in but I just sat down and waited 30 minutes for everyone to get sorted.
- 5/5
Clean room, helpful staff and great location
- 5/5
Everything was fantastic!
- 5/5
Cle!n rooms
- 5/5
Couldn't stay longer
- 5/5
I did not use breakfast or bar
- 5/5
Clean room comfy and staff was amazimg the pool was great for the kiddos.
- 5/5
Hotel is quite modern and really nice. The carpet in the rooms is old and needs to be updated, but many other things make this a good buy. We would stay there again.
- 4/5
A good stay
- 5/5
Definitely will stay here again. It was definitely more affordable then other places in the area, more than what we expected for breakfast, and lots of food and retail in walking distance.
- 2/5
There is a severe lack of maintenance in the property.
- 5/5
It was not so goox
- 5/5
Clean and fresh room we were able to get a good night’s sleep
- 4.5/5
They do not tell you in the booking process that there is also a $25 incidentals charge or that there is a fee to park on the property in which you booked to stay at. All costs should be presented in the booking process. The incidentals is not a big deal, because you get that back provided you didn't break anything in your room, but a parking fee to stay at a hotel, where you are parked outside, is ridiculous.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 3/5
The room was nice but needs major upgrades. The paint is chipping just about everywhere. There were stains on the light fixtures. Broken and damaged furniture and everything is extremely outdated. Overall it was just okay.
- 4/5
Very well maintained property and very clean. Staff is very cordial. The area of opportunity would be providing more amenities in the room, especially room slippers.
- 5/5
Friendly Staff and really clean rooms
- 5/5
Everything was enjoyable. The only issue I had was with the breakfast being a charge. Most hotels have this type breakfast free of charge. I feel we already pay a higher price for the room, which i dont mind, because it was comfortable. But I will not stay here again just because of the breakfast charge. Its the small things sometimes.
- 4/5
All good, but pay $4 dollars for parking was basically pay for the two " free" water bottles in the room. Parking must never charged, especially not covered.
- 1/5
The air conditioning did NOT work! When we took the issue to the staff, they couldn't even offer us a new room because allegedly the only other room available also did not have AC either. The rooms WIFI did not work as well. When we addressed the issue in the morning with the manager, he promised to award me Hilton honors points (which he did NOT do) I waited 2weeks to make sure this transaction he promised could be issued to my account. I will never stay at this property again. Very disappointed.
- 4/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and breakfast very good. My only complaint would be that the room curtains were always down and not able to open up to view the window view and sunshine outside. They were not functional for opening.
- 5/5
Nicely decorated , would benefit from a breakfast even if continental being provided rather than or in addition to the charged option
- 1/5

- 2/5
Room was smelly like sewage smell, the gut in the afternoon shift was terrible to deal with. Breakfast was mediocre. Only good amenity is that the pool and gym are ok
- 3/5
It took a whole day for the room to cool and they were booked so they could not
- 2/5
Hard as a rock bed, loud music late at night and in the morning, 4 dollar parking fee unannounced as we exited and $15 breakfast. The pool was decent for the kids
- 4/5
Clean Room and staff were helpful
- 5/5
Clean quiet comfy. Best steak in town. Nice job yall!
- 4/5
The room was not properly cleaned..it had some thing on the floor and all
- 5/5
Clean room it was All round clean and smelled good and Dan at the front desk was Great!! Thank you
- 0.5/5
Distance from work. I got charged an extra $25 on the payment, staff was rude and very disrespectful and also even tried to lie about availability before I had the chance to make a reservation. The room had a certain smell to it that clogged up my nose.
- 1/5
Chose this Hotel because it had a restaurant and bar. When I checked in was given dinner hours for the restaurant. Went down later for dinner and even after being told dinner hours found out restaurant was only open when they felt like it. Hotel was almost sold out and it was a Saturday night but the restaurant wasn’t open. Football playoffs going on and bar wasn’t open either. They also put a $25 hold on credit card and wasn’t even told. The desk person was sitting in the lobby on her phone so had to wait for her to decide it was time to go to work. She was very unfriendly when she did decide to go to work.
- 0.5/5
No one wants to give me my refund even though I booked a room, but it wasn’t available . I have not gotten my refund.
- 4.5/5
Breakfast is good. The room is decent.
- 5/5
Clean room, bathroom, beautiful lobby. Great proximity for visiting our kid at UTD
- 5/5
Everything was good 👍
- 5/5
Meh on breakfast for being $15+ each person.
- 4/5
overall super good just the hot tub wasnt clean obviously and that was my only issue everything else was great
- 4/5
Toilet was broken. Had to stop water flow by hand. Reported and staff apologized and said they’ll get it fixed.
- 4.5/5
I really enjoyed the hot tub and the scenery was nice as well... The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The body wash surprised me because usually I dont care for the scents in hotel ones. The number one thing I loved was how peaceful the stay was. Thank You Hilton for a great new years! I did not like that towels weren't available after I got out of the hot tub. Breakfast inclusions would be nice but not necessary. The staff wasn't bad just felt like they didnt want to be there or they could have been sleepy.
- 3.5/5
The location was convenient The shower in our room was twisted towards the wall. Kind of difficult to take a shower
- 4.5/5

- 4/5
It was clean and there was no problem there. When we couldn’t get the central air to cool our first room we were quickly assigned to a second. Much better. The price of the breakfast. It was good—but hubby now interested in finding hotel closer to dtr’s home.

No elevators
- 1/5
The elevator didn’t work. It was 12:30 in the morning and we had to go find another hotel for my 83-year-old mother. Please issue a refund.
- 3/5
Breakfast was okay
- 2/5
At check in, I was informed that my reservation was not in the system, forcing me to rebook rooms and pay double the price I'd already paid. On top of that and not receiving a full refund for the initial unbooked reservation, the elevators were out, and the A/C and heat barely worked.
- 5/5
Clean, easy in easy out, great location
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
Nice staff. Very plentiful breakfast, should be included instead of a charge if not booked with the room though. Most places include their

- 4/5
The shower was nor clean and the drain ring was broke
- 1/5
the toilet was clogged,we called front desk for assistance, she keep me on hold over 15 minutes, finally we decided to go to front desk to demand another room.
- 3.5/5
The property was clean I was not able to pull up the window curtains and the room was really dark.(with lights on) The curtains were taped together. I called front desk for help and they said they sent housekeeping, but nobody showed up.
- 4/5
My only request would be to have make up mirrors in the bathroom and better pillows
- 1/5
I’ve experienced poor customer service, bed bugs and lack of concern . I’m allergic to bed bugs and the lady at the front desk was rude and unprofessional! I asked for my money back and no one has yet to connect with me it was awful and I have videos to prove it
- 0.5/5
I booked my reservation online. And paid for it room . When I arrived, I was told the hotel was overbooked . And my reservation was canceled.
- 3/5
Breakfast was way too expensive $15.99 each.
- 5/5
Staff was attentive and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

- 3/5
What stood out most to us was that the staff were not the friendliest. After a long 13 hour drive, we didn’t need much conversation from the front desk staff, but it felt like we were inconveniencing the gentleman just to check in. He was not welcoming and gave little eye contact. The room was nice though and we enjoyed that part of the stay. Also, they are very strict and rigid about whose stay included the breakfast. My husband wanted to be sweet and bring my breakfast up before I was awake, and the staff were not very happy and him leaving with 2 plates instead of just his lol.
- 5/5
We had a great time!
- 4/5
The breakfast was not free, I paid the discounted price on expedia and we were given meal tickets. Otherwise the breakfast was great and thw dining room was beautiful.
- 3/5
This place has declined quite a bit in the last year. It’s still an ok place to stay. It’s just dirtier and more rundown and charging for every little thing.
- 4/5
The location is good and the room is clean. The only thing I wish Expedia would include is parking fee. Its $4 per day for parking. Its Dallas and not a New York City. I dont understand why they charge the fee. Its a scam
- 5/5
Everything was great. Room was very clean and staff was very friendly and courteous!
- 5/5
Worth every penny!
- 5/5
Room was clean & tidy and ready early. Loved the stay.
- 5/5
Rooms were very clean, staff was very friendly and professional
- 5/5
Nice property. Comfey bed.
- 5/5
The room was nice and the receptionist was sweet. The breakfast was so good.
- 2/5
The restroom had hair and stains on the floor. The man at the front desk was very rude and did not want to give me a printed receipt. Also do not buy snacks at their convenience store because they charged us $8 for a coke and $5 for a water bottle.
- 5/5
Buy the desk clerk(RICK) a LUNCH !!!!!!!!!!
- 3/5
When Rick checked us in, he never discussed housekeeping comes every other day. However after day three housekeeping never showed. Rick just stated, they have a high occupant need to clean the empty rooms first. I checked in on Thursday by Sunday I had to go back and request my room be clean with firmness. Dan did deliver and come thru. He treated us with breakfast comps to make up for the misunderstanding. However breakfast ended at 9:30 just as I arrived. Therefore no breakfast for us.
- 5/5
Ok
- 5/5
This hotel is quiet with a lot of cozy seating areas, a bar with a large selection of well-made drinks, and friendly staff. Our room is spacious, clean, modern, and has a fridge and microwave. The parking lot is convenient and well-lit.

Very nice property and responsive staff.
- 4/5
Overall, it was a good experience and i would stay again. Would rate a 5, except the room had a damp odor.
- 1/5
We are not coming back because of that.
- 5/5
Would definitely recommend this hotel
- 5/5
I’ve been staying here for about a month waiting on an apartment and I have been delighted by the employees, mgr, and the all around atmosphere of this hotel. The grounds have outdoor gardens and a beautiful patio, a small but luxurious saltwater pool and a good gym. The employees are top notch. I absolutely love this hotel and recommend everyone to stay and relax, walk around and see the beautiful paintings and have a margarita!
- 4/5
Nice stay

Immensities pool hot tub bar
- 4/5
The bed was very comfortable
- 3/5
Property renovated and looks nice and up to date. The room I was in was next to elevators and was horribly loud. Had to change rooms at 11pm. The manager did offer another room but was unapologetic. They should not rent that room, it sounds like someone is moving a bed across cement floor every time elevator used.
