This was our first time booking this hotel, happy to say we had a great time and a great view 10/10. Will book again in the future. 😁

Decent place to stay and fish.

I was very pleasantly surprised. I mean for the price I wasn’t expecting much, but it definitely was well above what I thought it was going to be. Clean room, clean bedding and you can fish right out your back door.

It was decent for just needing a place to sleep for work. The location right on the water is great but the quality of the room was below average. It smelled a little funky. The door locked but looked busted up. As a last resort, you get what you pay for at this place.

Super dirty hotel, roach infested, people live at the hotel full-time overall would never recommend staying there.

Great fishing

Pet friendly, electric mini stove top. Perfect spot for fishing.

Bring your own towels. Other than that is a good spot to fish by your room.

The floors were sticky. The bathroom smelled like smoke and found a cigarette behind the toilet. Definitely will not be returning to this specific place in the future. Walls were dirty. Toilet moved around.

On the water

The staff was friendly and able to accommodate an early check-in, which helped me beat the storm. The room was clean, the shower had great water pressure, and the air conditioning kept the room nice and cold. The hotel is older, which is noticeable in both its appearance and a slight musty smell. However, it was very quiet at night, making for a peaceful stay overall.

Huge language barrier; I called to ask if i could use my AARP and the man(most likely the owner) said yes just bring my card... then when I get there i show him my AARP card and he tells me NO bc i booked w/ outside vender..smh... Then I try to book a reservation a month out and was told I would not be guaranteed a ocean view and I would have to call the date of the reservation to see if the ocean view was available. Which will not benefit me bc if they do not have the room I prefer then I can't cancel bc you have to cancel the day b4 the reservation. This is a huge inconvenience and really makes no sense. SMH

Everything kids had a great time

The staff was friendly and the location was very near the beach which was great and the purpose of picking this location. The downside would be how the rooms looked run down inside and there were roaches. No real amenities to speak of.

It was OK for the weekend but needed to have s better bed and cleanliness.

Roaches everywhere. When we drove up, pest control was there.Should of known this was going to be a problem right then. Beds were comfortable.

To be honest, this is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at in Corpus. It looks like they just opened it a couple months ago, but everything was so clean. The staff was extremely nice. They have complimentary juice water coffee tea bar all the time. The breakfast was really good as well. Our home baseball team stayed there and they treated us like family.

Location I requested a certain room downstairs and 2 beds and they approved my request even showed them my email it was approved by them and still got stuck in the second floor with one bed ! Then the room was dirty housekeeping didn’t even come whole time I was there I had to go to the office ask for towels a broom! Trash bags

Had a great ocean view.

The room smelled like urine, I could not stand the smell and chose to leave early. The staff just said they would look into it. Other reviews in the past have also stated this is an issue. There was also strong drug smells from neighboring rooms and a lot of people loitering outside. I would not recommend this place.

This hotel I use to like but it’s going downhill, they don’t clean it like they use to. I couldn’t check in till after 4pm because the room wasn’t ready. When check in said 3pm. I asked for towels and he said they are still wet that he needs to wash more and then dry. I never got them. The parking is horrible, they say they will tow cars if they don’t belong there but people still park there and fish and take up parking. The curtains are falling apart and don’t even cover the windows anymore. I will not come back to this place the ever again.

One person at the front desk, the door key didn’t work, had roaches crawling everywhere, and a can of roach spray on top of the mini fridge, floor pieces coming apart in the restroom and smelled moldy. Took a shower and what to check out. Was there only about 2 hours

Checking in was ok, the man was respectful. Once we got into our room, the ac was leaking and the toilet paper holder was broken. It did also smell musty like the place is very old. I was willing to over look this only because the price is not expensive for the Motel 6, However, the next day when I reported the ac leaking and broken toilet paper holder and requested more towels and to see if our beds could be made up by housekeeping, the lady denied my request and said we have to be staying more than 2 days to get housekeeping. It was funny because there was literally a sign in front of her that said "housekeeping available upon request" so I had to call her out on that. She did not apologize for the inconvenience of our room having issues. She finally said she will let the cleaning lady know our requests. When we returned to our motel after a day of the beach, our beds were still not made up. They did leave the clean towels though. Over all, the view is nice and if it weren't for that, I would've completely rated this place a 1. At the end of the day, we get what we pay for, but motels should have common decency to take care of their guests.

Hotel is definetly outdated. Fridges are all rusty. Parking is a nightmare. People park so close and also park in no parking areas and staff does nothing to solve it. Many vehicles park sidways taking up multiple spots. Showers are not well maintained. Place is good as a last resort but i wont stay there again. Only booked due to good reviews but i can tell reviews lied about the property. Good spot to fish but cant really do any fishing due to all the Non Hotel guests on the property fishing and leabing their trash and baits all over the place. When you walk into the rooms it has a nasty Smell like they mixed multiple cleaners and slop mopped the floors. Floors were sticky. Do not walk barefoot in rooms.

Swimming pool, rooms need to be upgraded. Property needs be upgraded, breakfast. Rooms are very old. Molding falling apart

Staff was non existent and they overcharged my card by almost 2x. Lots of permanent residents there with ladies of the night walking around if you get the drift. Not great, and if they resolve the extra charges I would say not bad. Overall, it's an old meth hotel with a coat of paint. If you get past the cigarette burns then the sheets and pillows were very clean and comfy. Not terrible for a Motel 6 overall.

I like the location for fishing, a calm and romantic Bay view. The size of the refrigerator was good. The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Need to renew everything.AC sounds like a tractor at night, and it was incredibly loud and annoying. No hair dryer.

I liked almost everything. It was nice. Fishing was good. Beds were nice. It was clean. The shower head was way to low. I'm 6'2" and it was almost impossible to shower being that the shower heads were at about 5'5". My only complaint

Staff members were very helpful,and check-in was fast.lots of parking.the best part was being right next to the water to fish.

Nasty ass dirty floors

very loud all night long. Bath tub very slippery need non slip pads on tub floor. on booking .com i stated that my wife and i needed two queen beds on bottom floor because we are both disabled it didnt happen. Had to settle for two full beds it was ok but why ask for special needs and not see it.

I loved that this location had a room with 3 beds available. The room was somewhat clean. The door lock did not work and had to be replaced. Bedding and shower curtain had stains. Mold on ceiling. Stove top did not work. Refrigerator worked and kept everything cold. Remote controller and phone did not work. Water pressure in shower was extremely good.

I paid for two nights but I ended booking somewhere else. Didn’t like the smell. Then there was mold on the wall by the sink. Not enough parking. To crowded. Pictures on add are lies. I wouldn’t stay there again

Ac was perfect- some reason in the middle of the night the floor was wet- unsure why.. simple clean up- we did not have any pets. Room was clean- some of the repairs looked rough but they were nothing that was functional just cosmetic

I like your hotel because of the view of the water, very friendly staff. But the cleanliness needs better attention. The bathroom needs scrubbing the area where the toilet paper holds has dust on top that can easily wipe off. Have your cleaning crew do a better job for sure. Also, I never experienced this before since I come to this motel every summer the toilet paper roll get wet, so the room needs a machine to stop humidity and moisture in the room. The toilet sit was very loose the toilet moved to one side.

Could've had better

The property is very poorly maintained—paint is chipping off the walls, there was visible mold, and everything looked neglected. The towels were dirty and didn’t appear to have been properly washed. What made it even worse was the bedding. The bedsheets and pillows reeked of odor, to the point where it felt unsanitary to even lay down. It honestly felt like nothing in the room had been properly cleaned or cared for. Overall, this place felt unhygienic and completely run down. I would not recommend anyone stay here. Save your money and choose somewhere else.

The sheets had some blood stains on them. The toilet wasn't working at all. I had to walk all the way to the office just to use the bathroom. The white towels didn't look like they were washed; they had a dirty yellow tint on them. The floors were beyond dirty, and there were cockroaches. The tv had "audio only" on majority of the channels.The only thing that this place going for them is view. If they honestly kept up this place would be popular. Staff was nice though.

The location was perfect, the room was pretty dirty. Our sheets were dirty, the towels were dirty, and the overall hotel was really dirty. I wish we got new towels each night of atay, but we never received them, had to use the same towels for the 3 days we were there. It's a perfect location for fishermen trying to fish and have a cheap place to sleep.

Room was so dirty. The cleaners only make the beds and put towels. They do not sweep, mop, or wipe anything down. There was blooding fingerprints all over the bathroom door.

There is tape on the door we could not get into the room. We wete not giving proper directions. There was no lock on the door so we had no security for the night. The room was dirty. The phone did not work. The remote control did not properly work. The air conditioner did not properly work. There was no shampoo or soap. it was a total mess and I really am considering disputing the charge because you did not protect my safety like you said you would.

The stay and the room was ok. It was a safe area. I also enjoyed the two room set up. It had opened in one area. The bathroom and 2 fulls in another area. The door did have a hole in it. A hole large enough for small rodents and or snakes to slide through with ease. A quick stuffing of a sock done the trick for the night. For what I paid I have no complaints. Beds were comfy tv had good picture and enough channels. Would stay again if in the area and needing a cheaper than usual room.

The room had a bad mildew smell and roaches were present everywhere, even on the bed. Told the desk clerk and all he did was say that he would tell management

Love that you can fish so closely

Property is a bit run down. The rooms aren’t the cleanest. Our room had the best view! Location is right by the water perfect for fishing. We loved to be able to fish all night within steps of our room. Our room was roomy and had a large fridge and two sinks. Tv was wall mounted and fairly large. Staff were nice and helpful!

I love being by the water.. it was beautiful. I didn't like that the room next to me decided to have loud music and party outside my door. There was also a dirty bath towel left on the shower rod, and the small bath towels are very dingy.

All of the windows in our specific room did not have locks we had to go to the office two separate times to ask for something to lock our windows and even then they were still hesitant until we found one lock and then we went to the office and showed them and then after that they came to the room maybe like 40 minutes later to give us locks for the window

The rooms need to be updated and a deep cleaning badly. It worked to sleep and wash up after a long day at the beach. The part that I really didn’t like was the groups of people that came out tonight to hang out there was even a guy in a cot sleeping in the parking lot, it made my family not feel as safe and I was worried about my fishing stuff in the bed of my truck.

The property was poorly managed and the room immediately smelled like mold when we first walked in and noticed mold on the curtains. To top things off the parking lot looked really sketchy. If you are looking for a worry free stay don’t come here.

I suspect the Clerk lied to me about not having a room on the ground floor. There were only 4 cars in the parking lot, and there are 16 rooms on this side of the building and I know they have to accommodate handicapped people.

Hotel was great for my family. Spacious rooms and beds. Being able to fish outside is a bonus.

Convenient

Property need to updated. Staff was nice. But once we went to our room there was mold in the restroom. As well has a hair hanging from the restroom door knob fully had mold growing on it.

We booked a kitchenette, as a family of 4 visiting family it should have been easy to make dinners and enjoy our time with family. However when we got our room we didnt have a cooking range. There was a sink a nice little counter an almost full size refrigerator but no way to cook.
