Outside of building looked nice Smelled like dogs and vending did not work. Staff outside of head manager was not helpful and extremely rude.

Do not try to check in anytime before 3pm. They are very strict on that even if it’s only 20 mins before. Other than that the check in guy ended up being very nice. The room was very clean and nice and cold.

Only the location EVERYTHING! The smell when you walk in was horrendous, the walls are super thin you could hear the upstairs people, people walking down the halls, the top AC was dripping water and it would tap on our room AC and we had to put up with the tapping all night.

This hotel was a camp for homeless people. The pictures will sell the property but I would not stay.
- 1/5
The hotel had an unbearable smell. We thought once we entered the room the smell would be less but it wasn’t. We had to sleep through the night a horrible moldy smell. The ceiling to the restroom had mold stains as well.
- 4/5
Great place. Friendly staff. There were no dishes or cookware. I think adding that to the description would be helpful.
- 5/5
This was not a planned stay, but very greatly appreciated when I needed it. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
Floor needed to be swepted better. We were only there for a night. So, we didn't use much of anything in the room besides the fridge, bathroom & beds.

Elevator nor room phone working for months per the staff.

Hotel was overall very clean, the elevator shaft smelled horrible, but the room was much cleaner.
- 5/5
Really Great staff, very pleasant and professional 👍 😀 👏
- 4/5
Loved having small kitchen with regular size fridge, but there were no kleenexes or a hairdryer in the room which is odd for a hotel to not have as a courtesy. The room was clean and easy to get to from the highway.

Nice hotel in a somewhat sketchy part of town. But very close to all your favorite resteraunts and everything Dalla has to offer. The hotel was fine. Room was small but nice. Had all your kitchen needs. The WiFi wasn't working during the day time which was upsetting but at night it got better. Had a fine time.

On February 8th, I left briefly to buy items to celebrate the Super Bowl and a birthday. When I returned, every single one of my belongings was gone. Nothing was left in the room. I immediately contacted the police and the front desk. I later learned the hotel system had mistakenly marked my room as vacant, and housekeeping threw away all of my possessions. The general manager admitted this was their error, yet I was told it could take weeks — if not longer — to resolve. I’ve only been refunded for the room, but the value of my lost items exceeds $800, which is nowhere near justified compensation. This ruined what was supposed to be a special day, and I’ve never experienced anything like this in all my years of staying in hotels. I am writing this in hopes management will correct this issue and fully compensate me. While they’ve acknowledged fault, I’m sharing this to seek accountability and warn others. No guest should ever have their belongings discarded due to a hotel’s mistake. I strongly advise avoiding this location. If choosing WoodSpring Suites, the McKinney location offers far better service and experience.

Elevator was broken and my room was on the top floor, I'm almost 70 that was not easy. The bed was comfortable though.
- 1/5
After about 15 minutes there, and no one. We left and stayed at a hotel down the street. No amenities, no service to comment, I wouldn’t recommend this option to anyone.

When I stayed here 3 of the 4 days the elevator did not work and my room was on the top floor how to walk. Like 5 flights of stairs and it's smelled. Horrible in this building.

The kitchen was not fully equipped. All equipment was missing and it smelled. In this building horribly.

HORRIBLE PLACE TO STAY AND HORRIBLE WORKERS.
- 5/5
No complaints clean and nice and quiet at night
- 1/5
They tell you to go drop your trash in a dumpster by YOURSELF. If will have to pay if you want them to take it for you. If you need extra towels or linen or bedspread, you will have to pick them up yourself. Lastly, their operation hour is between 9am - 10pm. If you need any service prior 9am or after 10pm, there would be nobody to attend to you. Intending guests, please beware. There are so many nice hotels near them. Hotels.com you need to do a better job in protecting guests that trusted you by booking from your site. Please check your contracts with these hotels whereby guests can check out with full refund if they dont sleep in the hotel. Customer service is key. Stand up for your guests not what you get from hotels.

I do love staying at this place. It was my second time there. I just wanted to bring my tortoise with me. 😭
- 5/5
Very good service
- 3/5
Had to remove the waterproof mattress cover because I couldn't sleep! Noisy in the room above and had to call the front desk to ask them to call the room above to quiet down.

This place is not good at all. The manager is rude and hateful. She kicked us out because of my handicap brothers heavy foot.

- 2/5
The lift was out of service, and there was constant noise from the vent, which made it difficult to sleep. There was also no one at the front desk when I arrived to check in. I chose this place because it was affordable—now I understand why.
- 2/5
we had arrived very late; and when we checked in someone was able to help us. Other than that we got a refund because the next day we discovered that our bed had a huge pee stain on it.

Weird smell
- 1/5
We stayed at this hotel because our previous hotel sold our room. So this was a very last minute option. Walking into the lobby it smells like months old chewed up bubblegum, which was very off-putting. The elevator was rickety, smelled like vomit , pesticide , and melted crayons. And actually broke down the 2nd day of our stay. The room was not much better. It reeked of stale hot dog water, and wet dog. I still do not understand how you can have people checking in every day, but housekeeping only comes once every 2 weeks.
- 2/5
Elevator did t work and the water pressure wasn't good
- 3/5
The elevator did not work all the time, there were bugs in the room we has to clean the floor when we got into the room

To make things worse, on the second night before checkout, I got locked out of my room in the middle of the night, and the hotel staff was unhelpful and slow to resolve the issue. For the price I paid, I expected far better service. I’ve stayed at hotels for half the price with way more accommodations and better hospitality. The staff seemed indifferent, and the overall experience was frustrating. Definitely not worth the money. I won’t be staying here again.
- 5/5
Clean and plenty of space with full kitchen. Wished they had 4 pillows instead of just 3 to make the comfort rating 5 stars.
- 1/5
These were the thinnest walls in any hotel / motel I’ve been. You can almost overhear full conversations from the adjacent rooms. The elevator was broken, but the front desk girl did warn us ahead of time. She was sweet and helpful, but the rooms were just way too loud.
- 3/5
A hotel where you can just stay for a day or so
- 1/5
Please don't stay here, it's dirty and smells bad.
- 4/5
The elevator didn’t work
- 3/5
On the positive side there are no weight limitations on dogs, it was quiet, ample area for pets to relieve themselves. Large size frig and microwave and dishwasher. Plenty of room for storage.
- 1/5
Police were outside the property due to criminal incident. The reception area was filled with questionable characters and an unprofessional front desk clerk. Elevator was broken and I was told to use the stairs to get to my room. The stairwell landing was filled with human and dog urine, no lighting to see where I was going and people hanging out in the hallways and stairwells. I felt very unsafe and literally handed the front desk my key card and left. No one cared. This place felt like section 8 housing and shouldn’t position itself as a “hotel”.
- 1/5
Unfortunately, the our room were cockroaches infested every where in this room and the beds too. My wife and I left the room asap. I went back to Ryan and told him of the issue / concern. Also, we're seniors and had to walk to the third floor by the stairways due to their elevator was out of order. I would like Expedia to refund me. Very disappointed almost guests. TX
- 3/5
Loud and fights. Elevator got stuck with 3 kids on there. Police came due to noise and fighting twice
- 3/5
The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was chaos. Dogs barking, loud music, children screaming. We checked in and went to a family function and upon returning, there was four police cars. Two women were fighting and we were told that one of them pulled a knife on the other. At 10:30 PM there was a child, about 9 or 10 years old roaming about with a basketball. People were just wandering around the hotel , some guests were just loitering outside having a smoke. Our room was slightly decent but clean. There was only two thin sheets on the bed two small pillows. There were not enough towels, a set of hand towels would have been nice. There was a decent kitchen but a roll of paper towels would have been good to have there. Only one night table and no chair to sit down on other than the chair at the small desk. Upon checking out there was no one at the front desk and when we dialed 500 per the instructions at the door, there was no answer. There was a handy of some sort(could have been a guest) that did not speak English and gestured for me to leave the key under the window at the front desk. I found out that this hotel allows people to rent weekly or monthly. I know that many hotels offer this service but there should be a level of better quality control for those that are staying short term. I did not expect hear mariachi music and Beat It by Michael Jackson played loudly on my hotel room floor. I guess you get what you pay for! Chaos!
