Tv didnt work

I didn't like maid service being every other day. Everything else was excellent, like being at home away from home. Theresa, cooked excellent breakfast every morning. I didn't like it when they took the waffle iron shaped like Texas and put in just the regular waffle iron. Overall, I will only stay at this chain of hotels during my future travels.

Pool was igloo cold Jacuzzi jets wouldnt come on AND it was disgustingly filthy nasty I wouldnt couldnt even sit in it, put my feet only. When I asked the attendant when were they gonna clean it she said “maybe today” I immediately got out the jacuzzi! In the small room, the bed was comfortable & soft……. The shower had a crack in the ceiling and was leaking water— the WHOLE TIME. Check out suppose to be 11 am; however as my hubby & i slept (naked) with the tv on, we didnt hear the silent knock of the housekeeping sooo she began to WALK in our room at 1004 am … I immediately jumped up and ran to shut the door. When I went to ask the desk attendant how did this happen, the housekeeper laughed????? This was NOT funny to me & my husband. This was the worst hotel experience Ive had since 2021! I am very disappointed in Tru Hilton in Garland!

When my daughter and I arrived check in was very easy. The man and the front desk was very friendly. The staff at the front desk, were amazing for the 5 days that we were there. The breakfast was fresh and the lobby was always clean and smelled soooo good whenever you entered it. I bought a watermelon and had to ask if I could borrow a big knife and the front desk even helped me throw away the watermelon rind so I wouldn't have to have it in my room. They were all so helpful. Especially the woman when I checked out 4/19/26, she was amazing! Thank you for such a great experience.

Morning food was delicious

The staff were kinds, but it felt like the basic level you'd expect. The room was decent, though the floor/ceiling seemed thin since noise from the room above carried easily. There were some construction cones and debris around the property with no active work happening which I found odd. The breakfast and bar area was pretty small. Overall, it was a decent stay for business, but not the best if you're looking to unwind.

Super friendly staff, loved the room, large fridge was very nice. Even had a hot breakfast which was prefect!!

Well appointed room

The man who checked us in took entirely too long. We were kept by the counter for more than 5 minutes waiting for our key card. When we went up to floor 4, we found our keys didn’t work and had to return to the counter.

It was a business trip and the main issue was none of the switch for phone and laptop charger were working.

Easy check in. A short trip for a family gathering. We had a great time and enjoyed the amenities.

The place was quiet, I felt safe and staff were very friendly.

The room had a full kitchen, dishwasher, toaster, stove , microwave, garbage disposable, silverware, dishes, desk, walk in shower . There is a pool , fire pit, bar, store When I first got in the room it was extremely hot and took a while to cool down. They didn’t tell me you have to stick your room card in a slot by the door to make the electricity work.

They did not have a house keeping everyday. They had it every other day but they did not come to ours in first 4 day.

Enjoyed my stay

Everything was good except some small dead cockroach in the room floor and saw one walking on the hawllay carpet.

We got locked out of our room the first night!!!! Had to stay in another room with none of our belongings. Next morning we had to come down and ask to be let back in by someone else even though we were told we'd be back in by 8am we didn't get in until after 9am. Then the manager didn't want to give any compensation except bonus points on the app but not even enough for a free night. She acted like it was no big deal!

Our stay started off on a very disappointing note. We arrived late to our reservation and were met by a front desk staff member african-american man who was extremely rude and clearly bothered by our arrival. Unfortunately, he refused to check us into our room, which left us scrambling to find another hotel late at night — not the experience anyone wants after a long day of travel. However, I want to commend the management at this location for their exceptional response once I brought the issue to their attention. The managers I spoke with were kind, professional, and genuinely concerned about what had happened. They immediately issued a refund without hesitation and expressed sincere regret over the behavior we encountered. While the initial experience was upsetting, the way the management handled the situation was top-notch and very much appreciated. Their professionalism went a long way in making things right, and for that, I’m grateful.

It took us 45 mins to get checked in because they had one person working. Also, the bed because it was caving in at the center on the end of the bed and it was super uncomfortable. The pillows were also super flat and hard to sleep on.

The only complaint I have is that when you used the sink in the bathroom it smelled like mildew. Every thing was great!

Hotel charged three times from the security deposit mode of payment. Even thought full payment was done upfront from hotels.com booking. Hotel staffs were not responding the calls or messages. After posting review on google reviews. the manager sent email seeking apology and that he will refund the amount, but guess what, it takes 2 business week for refund! Pathetic service!

The lady that checked us in was very nice and helpful!

Staffs are nice. I gave 4 star because the air conditioner cannot be completely turned off. The fan runs even if I turn off on thermstat.

We arrived late in the evening but the front desk person was very friendly. The room was very comfortable and it was updated with a contemporary feel.

They charged me for a “data service” then couldn’t tell me what it was and said it “had something to do with Expedia”. I contacted Expedia customer service and they said it is a fee from the hotel and not something from Expedia. Unacceptable.

Loved the location. It was 10 minutes from my family. The hotel was clean and the room was equipped with a mini kitchen. The pillows were not comfortable but the bed was comfortable. I would stay here again. I felt at home.

A/C units, not really that cool, and very noisy

Even though I had to wait in line behind a couple of other people, I was acknowledged and knew they were aware that I was waiting. Then I was greeted with a smile and taken care of quickly and courteously. My room is fabulous! I have no complaints. I highly recommend this hotel if you need a place in north east Plano to stay

Staff was very accommodating! I came from out of town to have surgery and they were happy to let is check in early and gave us a room on the 1st floor next to the side door. They were happy to meet any of our needs. The best hotel stay I have ever had!

My stay was great but the service was terrible. The front desk attendant was rude and condescending. I stepped up to the desk to check in and he just continued to work on his computer without even acknowledging I was there. The location is great and the rooms are exceptional... But the service.

My kids and I had a great spring break stay. The hotel was kids friendly with heated pool, nice breakfast options, and very clean. My kids enjoyed their stay.

Very easy to find very well located quiet area

The general portion of the hotel appeared to be in good condition. The breakfast had a variety of options and the options were good. I was in room #219. The room needs some 'attention to details'. The floor in the bathroom was lifting and the grout was missing in some areas (picture attached). The floor section from the kitchen going into the living area was also lifting and separating (picture attached). The pillows should be thrown away - thin and not comfortable at all (picture attached). The sheets would not stay on the mattress (I believe the elastic had nothing left and would not stay in place) - daily I would try to place the sheet on the mattress with no luck. On the morning of my checkout, the sheet was not on the mattress corner at all - at which time I noticed blood multiple blood spots on the mattress. I unfortunately did not take a picture of this.

The only problem was the one key that didn't accept the code. Another one did replaced the faulty one.

I Needed a quick place to stay near my job. Front desk staff were nice.The room was clean. Everything was excellent.

Great stay and friendly staff, a nice option for business or family trip.

Convenient location. Not mentioned at check in, but one of our rooms had a space heater because the unit in the room was not working. The space heater did not have a thermostat so the room got very hot. Also, although the drink menu was displayed, the bartender did not have the ingredients for any of the drinks not even the one she offered me.

We had a great two day stay here! The room was very clean and efficient. Loved the mini kitchenette and the fact that there was a sofa bed. The staff was friendly and breakfast was great! We will definitely book this hotel the next time we are in Plano.

The rooms are very nice and clean.. Spacious and the room we were placed in had a kitchenette fully loaded! They even had things you could borrow from board games to rice cookers!! Only thing i didn’t care for was the beds were sunken in a bit and only one shower door lol made it cold but loves the room! we will put this hotel at a 4 star and will be coming back

The staff were very helpful, and positive and seemed to care about our stay.

Everything but the condition of the carpet, tile beds and pillows was great. Room 310 needs to be completely gutted and redone with new carpet, beds, pillows, bathroom tile. However I cannot speak more highly about this place, they have a full kitchen with garbage disposal, sink, dish washer, knives, forks, spoons, micro, full fridge, plates etc in the room it was great. The other cool thing they do is allow you to cook on new Webber genesis out by the pool that they supply. There’s a huge gas grilling area, they supply seasoning, tongs, gas all you need is food. Really cool place
