Best hotel to stay at

Clean room, just wish the bed space was larger. It felt like a closet where the bed was. You could touch the side walls from the bed. Otherwise, great stay.

Its was good. Small kiosk market so prepare. Ask for breakfast vouchers ahead of time

Decor, location , welcoming staff!

Breakfast was plain for the adjoined restaurant - but excellent OJ (fresh squeezed). The adjoined Sports bar very noisy after 10 pm depending on your room. Texas penal code 30.06 signage is posted only. Rooms very clean - bedroom door separates from other rooms - both shower and tub in same bathroom.- overall excellent.

The staff and location were amazing! This will be my hubby's and my forever getaway. The staff was very polite and professional. This hotel is in the perfect location. It's near plenty of restaurants and activities. Like the Colony and World Springs Spa. And there are actually two great restaurants within the hotel. The experience my hubby and I shared was unforgettable!

Hotel was nice and clean and close to Legacy West. Free and ample parking. Nice bathroom as well.

Great customer service!

I did get told the wrong times for breakfast, but luckily I got there early instead of late. I stayed a weekend and didn't know breakfast hours were different from the weekday hours (which are what I was told). I also found it a bit weird that you have to pay for breakfast at such a nice establishment and the breakfast was the same continental breakfast you'd typically get at other hotels, albeit with less options. Like a self serve waffle station but with significantly less options for toppings-- no blueberries, nuts or chocolate chips to add to your waffle. With breakfast being in such a high end restaurant, I expected at least some options like eggs Benedict or even oatmeal (not instant package oatmeal) with toppings or biscuits and gravy. Other than that, I would definitely still stay again because the room was super nice and the people were awesome. It was a very secure location so I felt safe, especially since I was traveling for a convention with costumes and props.

The location was convenient with restaurants near by. The property was well maintained. The room was beautifully decorated. The bathroom was cozy, but the tub was oversized in a good way (big enough for two!). We'll definitely be back!!!

Rooms are always very clean and neat. The property itself is also very clean. Staff is always super friendly and helpful.

The room was really clean. I actually did a full wipe down with clorox wipes and I barely had any sort of dirt. Smelled nice and clean. The only issue I had was their systems were down when I got there and so I couldnt check in at 11, more so close to 12. But I was fine because I needed to get something to eat any way. They kept my bags, I walked over next door and got food. When I came back they were apologetic and I told them it was fine. They comped my early check in fee. I was there on a staycation and needed some peace and quiet. I did bring a fan for white noise so I barely heard anything. The only issue I had was I was near moxies and ppl are outside playing games and such at 10-11pm. But once I turned on my fan, I couldnt really hear them. That will most def be an issue if you dont have white noise. So be sure to as for a room away from either restaurant because they both have outdoor areas. Overall, I will most def make this my staycation spot. Tons of amazing restaurants all around and my room was so great I never even left it, just for coffee downstairs.

I will be staying here each time I come to my office in Carrollton.. This hotel is great for travelers of business.. It’s clean, fresh, bright, friendly and prompt staff, and has 2 restaurant and bar options at the hotel.. Great place!!

Overall a decent property definitely not a 4 star property. Walls and doors had stains and the room had a musty smell to it. Service wasn’t overly friendly and waited about 30 mins for an employee to check me in.

Breakfast - Pretty Basic for such a place.

The room was very clean, the bed and pillows was the best. The room rate wasn't so bad, free breakfast at Moxies restaurant. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, which I appreciated since I usually clean everything myself. The amenities were top-notch, with Moxies restaurant on the first floor and an indoor pool to beat the Texas heat. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return.

This was my first visit, as a staycation for my daughter and I. I really enjoyed the property. The hot water is really hot and I absolutely loved the separate tub and shower layout. Very luxurious. I didnt get to experience the pool or on sight eateries but I will be back for myself.

The hotel is awesome and made my wife birthday so special.

They had excellent customer service. One of our rooms when we checked in was very smoky and suppose to be a non smoking room. The staff quickly moved us to a different room. Overall the stay was good.

They gave us a complementary upgrade since it was our wedding day and complementary breakfeast. Ethan was working when we got there and he was incredibly sweet. The room was clean and comfortable, good light and comfortable bed.

Clean and nice

In Texas, you cannot have an AC that is tied to motion. I go to my first room and it is 80 degrees in the room. I turn on the AC and then take a shower. Since the AC system is behind a wall, it does not see my motion in the shower and turns off so it is 79 degrees after the shower. I have to go to the front desk switch rooms to only find that the next room is also 80 degrees and if I'm not active in the bedroom area the AC kept turning off and not cooling the room. The first desk sent a maintenance person to shut off the thermostat that was motion activated to just allow the AC to run. Once that occurred, it cooled off the room. I don't select hotels that can't offer a positive experience when I first walk into a room. I should not have to wait an hour to have a room at an acceptable tempature.

Due to extra guest coming to visit me another front desk person assisted with an extra seat. The Shark Club & Moxie were both wonderful dining options & on site of the property. Plenty of FREE parking & an area that felt private, this made my 2nd Birthday Stay at the property. Just as my first the staff made sure I had an exceptional stay & welcomed me back for my 3rd Bday Stay.

That i couldn't stay another day

It was a splendid week. Looking forward to returning.

This my favorite hotel to stay at! It’s budget friendly, clean, pool feels really nice, staff is amazing, I love the coffee, it always smells nice…my list goes on. I never worry about anything at the sandman. I do hate that they have a cut off time now on the coffee machines 😩 I love night coffee time but I get it..I guess lol. This hotel is always great to me and my family.

hotel was very nice... my only complaint was I couldn't get my room clean by staff. They did offer fresh towels.... However I have ocd and need clean sheets daily.

Clean, comfortable room.

Staff were rude and unhelpful and seemed to get angered to do anything about helping guests. You are much better off to stay at a cheaper hotel were you have better staff than lux hotel with horrible personal.

When i checked in Shae the front desk rep was very friendly and accomodate as required. We lost the car keys and they didn't even went inside the office to look and said they don't have it but later at night when we came back and asked the front desk he went inside the office and got the lost keys.

It’s pretty hot through the hotel and the pool amenities are disgusting. It isn’t a family friendly hotel. Walking in the room the temperature was at 80 degrees and took awhile for it to cool down!

Friendly staff. Main areas of the hotel were clean and bright. Pool and hot tub were very dirty. Water was cloudy, dirt and rocks were in lines at bottom of the pool and the tile above the water line in the pool and jacuzzi was filthy. Very gross and disappointing. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom had shower and a tub. Large fridge. Easy walk to restaurants.

Didn’t like the small narrow door way to rooms nor no microwave in rooms.

It would be very helpful if the hotel had a free shuttle from and to the airport. Just a suggestion. I also suggest microwaves in each room

The staff was so helpful! They saw my co-worker and I struggling with an uber with our luggage and not only did they offer to take us to our destination in the shuttle but also helped us with our extremely heavy luggage cases! They even offered to drive us to the airport after our meeting! Such wonderful gentleman!! Shout out to Jordan!!!

Breakfast buffet was pricey for very basic hotel buffet. Is in a restaurant but no wait staff, no menu order available. Coffee only in paper cups, not a 3-4 star hotel experience at all. Otherwise hotel was clean and updated.

Room had a queen size bed even though I paid for a king found dirty clothes under the pull out couch when checking the front desk would look at us then look at the maintenance guy and just start laughing

The staff was extremely helpful and it was appreciated.

The hotel was fine, clean and a great location. The ac is the old wall unit and would make a horrific sound every time it kicked on and off - waking us up every time and eventually causing us to just turn it off and deal with the Texas heat.

They (upgraded) my room to a smelly full kitchen that was boxed in and stuffy. The A/C units worked poorly. The bed was like rocks just not what I expected from the reviews. When I asked about a change I was told they were sold out. Not one apology or compensation in any way. I definitely need a Doctor I'm leaving with sinuses flaring back hurting and fully irritated with a 5 hour drive home. I am truly disappointed and will be calling, emailing, and lodging a complaint with corporate.

Property was very nice, clean and safe. Close to several places for food, shopping and nightlife! The amenities are excellent. Especially the TUB!

Overall not bad. A TV show was filming here during our stay, and we had no idea until we arrived. The staff did great work accommodating around the filming. However, the room seemed older and a bit run down. It was a bit musty in our room. Overall, it was a good stay, though.

Jacuzzi was a nice touch

This was such a beautiful and well kept hotel. The amenities are great the only thing is I wish there was more INSIDE seating at the pool or an area for people to sit their belongings. Other than that, the room was clean and everything worked just fine. I even got to use a $15 credit at moxie that’s attached to the hotel. I definitely will be returning.

The hotel was very clean and very nice! We were able to use the hot tub and gym inside the hotel. The only complaint I have was a getting woken up early from construction they were doing right outside of our window. Super nice stay and would definitely stay again!

Now the room temperature wise it wasn’t good took forever for the ac unit to even kick on, and it was so claustrophobic almost checked out but because it was only one night we managed it. Would we return no not the best experience, but good front guy staff though. Didn’t like that the girl staff was arguing on the phone and rolling her eyes at a client, not the best impression.

The biggest issue I had is that I dropped something out of my bag while I was still inside the room and once I realized it was missing, approximately 20 minutes later, I called the hotel only to be told that I needed to go to a website where I would be able to search through things found to see if my item was there. I registered with the website he directed me to but you are not able to view things, it's just a reporting system. Even though I had not been gone long when I realized my medication was missing, the front desk told me it had not been turned in. Due to the type of medication it was, I had to report it to the police. So I imagine it wasn't turned in but kept by a dishonest housekeeper/staff. I'd like to say I would stay again but probably not.

For the price this place was super nice! It was our second time to stay for a quick one nighter and would go back again!

Location. I did not feel it was on par. Bathroom wall was stained. Found a few leftovers on the carpet from prior person. Room at the end of the long hall on the top top floor. No breakfast included. Then I paid an upgrade of $40 for early check in. It was one hour early and they charged me tax on the $40!
