Clean room, breakfast included, nice staff
- 4/5
The staff was great, it was very clean, and they were so nice to my grand daughter, but Marriott's position on cleaning the room every three days, only giving water at check in, and no happy hour or even the ability to buy a glass of wine was not something I was found of....I traveled for almost 40 years and these things would have been a huge issue for me then.
- 4/5
Simple and clean, good spot for kids.
- 4/5
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK. The rooms were not very clean. Had to change the first room due to the smell.

Very clean and the staff were very helpful and courteous. Would stay there again if need be.

The only con is that we have to pay for parking per day.

When I arrived on Friday, the room was very nice. It was a one bedroom with a separate living room. Each one of those had a TV. The one in the bedroom worked fine. The one in the living room would come on, but you couldn’t select anything. I had to have somebody come up and figure it out. The next day, my family and I left we had food in the refrigerator. We came back five hours later and the refrigerator was off not working at all. This is a full-size refrigerator. We were unsure if any of the food in the refrigerator was still good. It was not warm but only cool. I figured it out and the breaker had tripped. I went down to the front desk to report this and the person there didn’t seem to be overly concerned. But the refrigerator did continue to work the rest of the time we were there.

Everything was great as far as cleanliness and staff very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Only thing that needs to be changed that I had an issue with was, I got to two rooms and got them connectingto each other. My dad did not know as I didnt either, and he locked his room door from the inside and walked out through the connecting door to my room. When we got back to the hotel we couldn't open his door and the hotel couldn't either. They said that we cant lock the room through the inside and walk out through the connecting door to the other room. No one mentioned this to us. They didnt have means to open the door that night till the next morning at 10am so they told me. They did offer us another room but all of my parents things oxygen machine, medications and clothing were in their original room. Finally after a while they did find a key that could open my parents room. This definitely needs to be rethought and fixed because if my mom who is not mobile with out assistance would of been in the room herself and this happened it would have been a serious problem. Other then that great hotel.
- 4/5
A pretty nice property overall, though there was a tile in the room's bathroom that was loose... Staff was accommodating. Other than that, I found the breakfast here to be lackluster. ONE waffle maker split among several guests is ridiculous. Having to wait 15 minutes for someone to make 3 waffles is a bit irritating (though that is not the other guests' fault).
- 5/5
Everything was great,,,,, Except that the breakers kept tripping?? First it was the refrigerator, then the kitchen outlets, then the dishwasher and garbage disposal, and the the A/C !!! I was able to reset most of them over and over again and some stayed on!? But they have a severe electric problem!!
- 5/5
Loved the suite, plenty of space, clean

The location and proximity to local restaurants and shopping. Staff was accomodating and moved me to another room after the issues with my first room Housekeeping was horrible. Urine stains were on my toilet and the dust floated which aggravated my allergies. None of the electrical outlets worked in my room. Not being offered a discount or any comps.

It's a older model hotel in need of a few updates. The furniture was in bad condition and I had ants in my bathroom and a few ended up on my bed.
- 4/5
Friendly staff and very clean Pull out soda was very uncomfortable
- 4/5
I didn't like people being allowed to bring their dogs to the table while we were eating breakfast. THIS IS DEFINITELY UNCLEAN WITH SMELLS AND PET HAIR AND DANDER FLOATING AROUND MY FOOD.
- 5/5
Location was great. Room was spacious and comfortable Waited at the front desk for a good 5-10 minutes. Front desk lady finally appeared and seemed cold. She didn’t seem too happy.
- 5/5
Everything was good.

The staff was nice and said the mistake was made on hotels.coms end. The incident made me stressed, worrying if the money would be refunded to my card. They really didn’t believe me at first but I showed them my receipt from Hotels.com and showed them tge alert my phone had received from their hotel. I also had to wait 5-7 minutes upon arrival because the girl behind the desk said she was new and didn’t know how to do check ins yet, she made a call to someone but it still took 5-7 mins before two people who were able to help to arrive, don’t know why someone was left to run the front desk with no knowledge on how to check-in someone. I really thought that is how the mistake had been made that caused me to be charged a second time for my stay. Warning to people, make sure this doesn’t happen to you, I was lucky because I caught it when my phone alerted me to the 2nd charge to my card. This probably will change how I book a hotel in the future and where. Yes the money was refunded to my card.
- 2/5
Room was okay. Hotel location is very poor. No restaurants. Nothing to walk to. Just surrounded by highways. No fresh fruit except banana.
- 5/5
The kitchen was nice, plenty of space and a small dining table was perfect for one or two. The staff was friendly and helpful especially when I forgot to take my room key. The room was clean and I appreciated that they encouraged us to reuse towels. Something I do at home. I did not partake of the breakfast, I am a one meal a day kind of guy. The outside is like a wasteland , but if you stayed inside a lot you would be fine the inside was nice and clean.
- 5/5

There are two Residence Inn Plano/Richardson, so I inadvertently went to the wrong one and was charged twice for one night, once at each hotel! Really?
- 2/5
They charge $3.87 per night for parking and don’t build it into the fee shown on Hotels.com but instead bill you after the stay. I wouldn’t stay again, especially considering what I paid.
- 5/5
Clean. Room layout was efficient. Large shower is a plus. Swivel tv is always nice. Kitchenette area is convenient and fridge is a decent size.
- 5/5
I came to Dallas for my best friend’s funeral. I left my phone in Florida. It’s so hard to do anything without your phone … no contacts, banking, messaging, email, passwords. Lupita was at the desk when I checked in, I don’t know what I would have done without her. She fielded a couple phone calls, helped me with the hotel computer (I couldn’t access any of my personal accounts without my cellphone to receive authentication codes); she was a great supporter. (The woman who came in the next day was almost evil, wouldn’t even call a taxi for me). The room was great, amenities great, Lupita fantastic. And the bunnies in the back in the evening were adorable!
- 5/5
Nice rate and nice rooms.
- 5/5
Great value
- 3/5
The space was great. However the room was not particularly clean, hair in the shower and make up or something splattered on the wall. Kitchen cabinets were dirty and the sink stunk every time you ran water. On top of that the cook top and fridge did not work. When I called, I was told to flip the breaker. The fridge came on but the cooktop never worked. When we left the next day and came back the fridge was off again and all our cold stuff was no longer cold. We pulled out our sofa bed and old dirty linens were still in the bed. The front desk told me “I’ll put in a note but housekeeping isn’t here today”. Not exactly the experience I was hoping for. Also note that deep in the details you get charged daily for parking. The king bed was comfortable and clean.
- 4/5
There were a few spots in the bathroom that were dirty. The back of the bathroom door had stuff on it and I cleaned whatever it was off of it. There was also something on the side of the sink that I cleaned off with a rag. Other than that we had a good stay and experience.
- 5/5
Short and sweet! Took maybe a minute to check in!
- 5/5
Loved the room comfort and cleanliness. Breakfast not so much
- 5/5

People working the front desk are terrible

The room was clean & the bed was soft but thats about all. The lady who was there at checkin was fantastic, the overnight person was rude & acted like we were interrupting her. I purchased the room for my son & his new baby and wife. He is military & just got back from 3 yrs overseas. They had just spent 30 hours on multiple flights & it was 2 am by the time we got them in their room and settled. They were exhausted but starving & bought microwave meals from the lobby to eat. Cost them the price of a fancy restaurant. When we went to use their microwave to heat it up, it wasn’t working. I went down to speak with the person at the desk. She was very rude and just acted like I was interrupting her personal phone call she was on. I explained the situation and asked if someone could come look at it or if we could please get another room. She didn’t even attempt to come up to the desk, she barely stepped out of her office area and immediately said no. They didn’t have maintenance available until morning, ok, understandable. No, they didn’t have any other rooms available, even though she didn’t even attempt to check the computer to confirm it. She did offer to heat the food for me in their employee kitchen but I couldn’t be there to see her do this. She was also very rude to my son and dil when they purchased the food. She clearly is only there for a paycheck and cares nothing about the customers or her job. We will never stay here & would recommend that you don’t either.

Christine the Assist Manager is very unprofessional. We asked her why didn’t our room get cleaned. She replied with a really bad attitude totally unacceptable. This was my 2nd stay at this hotel and I WILL NOT be rebooking. We are here for a death mad she was very cold.

Great hotel
- 2/5
Checked it around 4:30 on friday after a couple hours i asked staff for a fan due to the room not cooling off. By 10:30 we had to pack all our belonging and be transferred to another rooom due to the room not cooling off. Once transferred we notice Saturday that the microwave did not work. And come 2am sunday morning the AC in our new room stopped working. Staff was friendly and helpful but this facility definitely needs some upgrades. The sofa bed that my kids slept on had so many unknown stains on top of that the bed was so hard i had to ask for multiple blankets to soften the bed up for them. Over i was dissatisfied with my over all stay at this location.
- 5/5
Property was nice a d covenant to the highway and close to shopping breakfast was also out standing
- 5/5
Clean and quiet nice stay

Very good
- 4/5
The hotel is very nice, easy to get to and the rooms are spacious and quiet. I only have one complaint - the breakfast. It was pretty bare and basic. Not very much offered. I was really disappointed in comparing it to the Hyatt Place in Garland that I usually stay. I like the hotel accommodations better than Hyatt, but that breakfast could be a deal breaker.
- 5/5
Great Stay! Highly Recommended
- 4/5
Clean room. Had problem with toilet and it took two visits to front desk to get handyman to come to room.
- 5/5
I really loved the kitchen and living area. It had everything you needed, and the hotel overall was clean and updated. The bathroom was lovely as well. The breakfast was warm and fresh, and the kitchen staff kept it clean and stocked for the guests.
- 5/5
Very good "stay-cation" for weekend get away. Close to good restaurants and the room was Excellent.
- 5/5
Will stay again.
- 5/5
This hotel is very nice. The room had everything i needed. The breakfast was delicious and the gym was great for a hotel
- 2/5
Kitchen appliances didn't work, staff could care less. Minimum breakfast, staff was rude. Off our list to stay there again.
- 5/5
Joyce is the main reason people like this RI. She is friendly and provides the best servuce
- 5/5
Great and friendly staff. Breakfast was really good. Our stay was nice.
- 5/5
Liked having a kitchen and separate seating area. Free breakfast was good and even though hotel was on highway you couldn’t hear the traffic once inside.
- 5/5
Very courteous staff, clean rooms.
- 4/5
Nice hotel that was easily accessible. It's just a little ways from Central Expressway (75) on the George Bush Turnpike. My only complaint was the picture of the room on Expedia was not the room I received. I was expecting a two room suite and that's not what we received. I am an early riser while my wife likes to sleep in. I had hoped to do some work in the other room while my wife was sleeping in the bedroom part. I had to leave the room and go to the hotel lobby. Not the worst thing, of course, but I would have stayed somewhere else had I known the room we'd be getting would not have a door separating the bedroom with from another room.
- 5/5
They were very nice about shipping something we left behind in the room!
- 5/5
I enjoyed staying here, the place was very clean the staff was very nice and they also have breakfast every morning as well as a laundry room. If I ever go back to Texas I will definitely choose this hotel again. Great experience you won’t be disappointed.

- 5/5
It was a excellent experience staying there, very friendly and it felt roomy and cozy
- 5/5
Awesome
- 4/5
Clean hotel nice rooms, not perfect but damn close.
- 1/5
Additionally, one of the rooms we rented had a non-functional TV, and the other room’s HVAC system failed to cool the room properly, making our stay uncomfortable. When we checked out, the manager was unavailable to address our concerns or to extend any gesture of goodwill. This experience was quite disappointing, especially considering the standards we have come to expect from Marriott. I hope you can address these issues and prevent them from happening to future guests.
- 5/5
Close to mao. Areas
- 5/5
Close to main areas and highway
- 4/5
Location was convenient with regards to the purpose of our trip
- 4/5
i arrived 5/30/24 at 6pm and was told my reservation made through and paid for through Expedia was cancelled. Even though my itinerary said check in was from 3pm to 3am. Dallas at the time was in the midst of severe storms, DFW was temporarily closed and the hotel experienced a black out. the hotel clerk "found" me another comparable room and i was required to pay over $400 which was said to be "just a hold". I checked out 6/2, inquired about the money on hold and was told it would be released in several days. It is now 6/10 and the money has not been released from the temporary "hold". And the hotel was paid in advance by Expedia and again by me. this is very distressing and i am feeling like i was scammed!
- 5/5
This was a very nice property, with friendly staff and a very comfortable room.
- 4/5
Close to highway with a good parking saved us some precious time for our limited stay of 3 days for a wedding since we flew from Montreal, Canada. Property was clean and quite.
- 5/5
It seems quite. We’ll see in the morning 😉
- 5/5
The associate at the breakfast bar was very attentive and helpful. Thank you!
- 5/5
Joyce and Yasmeen are very helpful. Joyce is the epitome of customer service the way it should be. I might try to recruit her. Jk
- 4/5
Maybe it was the sponge that we used and tossed when we left. I mean, who wants to use someone else's dirty sponge?
- 5/5
when I asked my questions. Having employees such as Joyce makes people want to return.
- 5/5
Great stay, staff is very courteous. Room is spacious. Only issue was that there were lots of dog hairs in the room on the sofa, the chair and the carpet.
- 5/5
Nice clean room. Staff was attentive, carpets seemed newer and very little wear and tear on the property. I would stay again.
- 5/5
We were extremely satisfied with our stay here. With two kids under 5, they accommodated us with every request, and the kitchen was a lifesaver. Truly recommend for any length of stay.
- 3/5
BE AWARE, there is a "voluntary" daily parking fee that is not disclosed but added to your final bill. It was explained to us that it is to pay for the parking garage next door, for the Marriott. We obviously opted out, did not leave a good impression at all.
- 5/5
The gym was very nice. And we also enjoyed the breakfast and clean room. We had a great stay. Thank you.
- 5/5
First time been to Texas. I stayed at so many Marriott hotels in other cities in the past. This one makes me feel like home.

The staff was top notch the food was great and it was very quiet and clean we loved our stay
- 4/5
Quiet
- 3/5
Shower booth and the bathroom floor was not clean.
- 3/5
We used the pull out sofa bed during our stay. It was clear that the cleaning staff has neglected to clean below the cushions when it isn’t used as a bed.
- 5/5
My stay was AMAZING!
- 5/5
Hotel was conveniently located. Easy access to the highway. Hot breakfast was nicely prepared every day with a nice variety.
