Every single thing we’re amazing

Rather shopworn hotel. Definately not up to Hilton standards. Dirty carpet in hallways. Pealing wallpaper. Bathtub slippery. Bathtub faucet valve grinding and felt like it was going to break anytime. No inspection certificate in elevator. Lobby nice. Breakfast was excellent.

We choose this place because we stayed at a Homewood suite the last time we were in Plano and thought this was the hotel. The one we stayed at was actually off the George Bush Highway and not this one. The last one we stayed at the stay was pleasant but this place was not. We didn't get here till 1 am because we were coming from Houston. We choose this place because it was spacious. 1 King Bed and 2 double beds for a family of 8. However upon our arrival we get into the room and notice right away this was not a good hotel to be at. The ice machine in the room didn't work and the microwave plate stabilizer was missing. Then came one of the things that irked us the most. The AC unit was next to a furnace in the room and it made a loud noise the entire time. If you're a light sleeper this will really bug you. I went to the front desk and ask if there was an ice machine on any of the floors and he told me no. He went to the kitchen to grab me a bag of ice. My wife complained about the loud noise but the guy told us that's how all the rooms are. I don't know if this is true or not. A lot of things didn't work and there couch to mattress with springs was uncomfortable to sleep on. The following day we tried to take our kids swimming when we woke up and the pool didn't even work. The grill didn't work and when we complained about it they said they are working to fix it. We had initially booked for 5 days and asked them to only charge us for the night we slept there.

We need to be around this area - and liking the idea of 2 bedrooms with extra sitting room plus kitchenette, however the room is not as clean as it should be, rather old-ish feeling w/ some cheap upgrades. furniture look like its ready to be updated. Found Cockroach in the living room, rug is so dark and kinda smelly. Kids used the gym, breakfast was standard. with the price, size and location, not much to complain.

Overall, it was a nice stay, The room was comfortable and loved the ceiling fan. The breakfast was nice and a great cup of coffee. The property did need a good cleaning and some new paint as it was peeling in several places and the carpets were stained.

Was pleasantly surprised! Room was nice and great variety on breakfast. Will definitely stay there again!

Nice place to stay with family

The room was not cool and thanks to Texas summer temperatures it took a while to cool. The chair in the living room needs to be replaced - or recovered. The bedding was not comfortable.

This hotel always offers a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff does everything possible to meet guests' needs. In addition, the hotel is conveniently located - everything you need is close by. The hotel is in need of major renovation, despite the staff's best efforts to maintain good condition and cleanliness, as well as to ensure guest comfort and meet their needs.

I love these hotels. The rooms are so large. They have a nice breakfast and an evening snack plate time where they have adult beverages. The only thing I don’t like was an odor in the elevator. It was a mixture of sulfur and onions. Seem to be a shortage of luggage carts too. Overall a good place to stay. Would stay again

Amazing place to stay. Very friendly staff.

Everything went pretty well. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast. The room had great amenities with refrigerator, dishwasher, 2 burners.

Dark orange paint and brown carpet give a depressing feel to this hotel. Bathrooms have no fan so they feel moist and mildewy. Grout feels and looks dirty. Feels unclean. Beds feel cheap and old. This hotel needs serious TLC. Staff was nice. Breakfast was adequate. Not worth the money we spent to stay here.

I liked the location of the property and the breakfast. The staff was constantly changing and not all of them were friendly. The cleaning staff was rude and made it hard to get service done.

Had a very home-like feel.

Party of 5 came into town for a graduation. Our only complaint was the elevator. It absolutely smelled HORRENDOUS!!! We had to cover our noses every time we rode it. It was just so SOO bad!!! Staff were great, breakfast was great. Room was small but had everything needed. Just the elevator.

Breakfast was good. Fire hazard if you are in room on the corner 201, 301,401 then you have only one staircase to run and it’s in the other side. No water bottle in the room. Toilet bowl was not clean under the edges. Front desk lady was not friendly. Bathroom door was chipped in the bottom so the bed was.

Breakfast was amazing. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The pool and the elevator were my only issue. Both could use some work. Everything else was amazing.

Menu was limited. Did not eat there only coffee. Room was adequate but not up to the standards I would expect from a Hilton property.

Breakfast was good; scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, oatmeal, potatoes, chorizo, small bagels and mini muffins. Enjoyed the full sized fridge and the glass dishes. Bed was very comfortable. Everything was fine.

Good spot. Gym is OK. Room and bed are good. The room door was very tight though.

The staff was great, but the furniture look old and questionable cleanliness, cabinets doors uneven could not close completely. Stove top showed signs of rust. The bath tube was gross nothing but a replacement would correct. Over all things looked aged and what upkeep was poor in the room. Attempts to repair and repair was obviously DYI as a contractor would not done a job like that or allowed.

AWESOME AND PROFESSIONAL.

For being a Hilton it wasn’t as well taken care of as I thought it would be. There is no public ice machine. The front desk people are never at the desk. It just wasn’t what I was expecting.

Loved the kitchen with the sink and the large refrigerator. The room was spacious with a separate living room. It was perfect for our trip and we will stay again if we go back to the area.

Otherwise very very clean and neat. Especially clean bathroom and kitchen . Biggest is the elevator interior panels were broken and no emergency details all faded. Seems like easy fix

Room was clean but quite dingy. Furniture was stained. We didn't want to sit on the upholstered couch and chair. Walls frayed. Tile in bathroom was damaged. Closet door was damaged.

This place is a bit long in the tooth. Finishes are frayed, furniture and carpet stained. Breakfast was elaborate though. We felt safe but a bit uncomfortable with the dinginess.

Desk staff was courteous. Other staff, not so much. Staff saw me assisting an elderly person and closed the door before we reached it.

The room was neglected as it was infested with roaches and n the refrigerator which got into our groceries. The toilet didn’t work and eve at the temperature of 62 it felt like 90 plus degrees. The front desk morning staff was very irate and argumentative not helpful at all. The beds were broken and sucked in besides everything being totally outdated. No one even tried to compensate or assist us with this matter.

We used to book this place each year at least twice for a week at a time and it was nice. So this time we went there was an infestation of roaches on the counters and refrigerator. And the room furniture being not only out dated but the bed caving in and the vents nor the lights in the kitchenette area worked and the room light. The toilet kept running over, then all the water went out and it stopped working. The biggest issue was the air not working properly even with the air on 62 it didn’t get cold and housekeeping even told us that the floor was extremely hot. Problem was there was no one there to assist with any of this issues as it was over the weekend and because we chose to book third party.

When we checked in, the room was hot. AC was not working and the maintenance guy came to change out the filter and it started cooling down. Water pressure was horrible. The toilet doesn’t flush from midnight - 9 am. The AC makes weird noises. After the first night, the room wasn’t even cleaned. No conditioner. We had to check out a night early because it was horrible.

Needs updating

Hotel and staff were great. Room was clean, comfortable and roomy. However we did not sleep well, or sleep really, due to some VERY noisy guests in the room across the hall that came in screaming at 230am and continued to party and fight until someone else on the floor called the police. Police came at 330am to deal with the situation but we did not get much rest to say the very least so it was not an overall good experience for us.

Not sure what kind of detergent they use for bedding and sheets, it smelt like grease. I would have rather they use clorox or something that smelt fresh.

Great place

Pool is a lot smaller than the picture leads you to believe. But overall it was a good place. We'd stay again.

We chose this hotel due to suite room set up for our family. It met those needs. WiFi didn’t work during our stay with poor cell service at the location. And AC doesn’t turn down lower than 68, temp felt closer to 70. Room set up was great, breakfast was as expected.

The property falsely advertises “daily housekeeping,” but it’s actually every other day. I stayed 3 nights (Thu–Sun) with toddlers, and housekeeping was done only once—on Saturday. When I asked, the front desk confirmed it’s every other day, regardless of stay length. This misleading information influenced my decision to book. If they had clearly mentioned it in the room description or guest services, I would have chosen a different hotel.

Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The stairwells had food litter, including old corn cobs and banana peels. There were a lot of unsupervised children as part of a soccer group staying there. The staff were busy working and friendly. Breakfast was good.

Enjoyed the stay

A random alarm went off around 1am. Child woke up covered in itchy bumps from sofa bed. TVs did not work because it was raining.

I liked that this is a place for my family and I to frequent and it accommodates everyone in one space. Family friendly.

Of the dishwasher as disfigured. There was a reddish stain on the curtains. The bathroom faucet at the tub had black specks all over the top of it. The bottom drawer in the bedroom wouldn’t push into the tiny dresser and the draw on the nightstand wouldn’t push in either. The beds were hard and incredibly uncomfortable. The pull out couch had a mattress that couldn’t have been thicker than 3”. We left a day early because we weren’t able to sleep.

Small, did not feel like a suite. Furniture, bathroom, and style of room outdated. No water pressure in kitchen, bathroom, and shower.

Bad service and not clean and poor maintenance. Our shower didn’t work well and our toilet broke during our stay.

The staff was very helpful when we checked in, as I was staying in the hotel because it was three blocks from Baylor Heart Hospital. I was having valve replacement done and, my wife had a broken foot and was on a knee scooter. They gave us a first floor room at the end of the hallway, by an exit door. This was great, as I could not lift heavy items after surgery, but I could back up the car near to the ramp from this door. The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and courteous. The only reason I did not give it an excellent rating is that the property is an older one and is showing signs of wear and tear. Overall, we would stay here again.

When my three boys walked into the hotel room, they were in pure shock about how nice it was. "This is the best hotel, weve ever been in", is all we've heard since leaving the hotel, and its a big request for our next family outing.

Homewood suites has always been my go to for a well -appointed stay along with comfortability within your means. Unfortunately at this location it was the worst experience my family and I have ever endured. I gave 2stars for the service only because the front desk receptionists were truly kind and empathetic. On the other hand that cannot be said about management. I was spoken to in the most unprofessional manner regarding the apparent distaste for the lack of quality presented to us to which compensation was the only choice due to us having to stay in that squalor overnight. To bring this to a close our short stay consisted of the most unsanitary conditions(I've been debating whether to post the pictures I took) as well as inexcusable unprofessionalism from management and unfortunately I cannot recommend this place to others at this time.

Great stay! Loved the hotel was clean and the room was very nice the only downside was that the microwave didnt work because it would set of the breaker. I highly appreciated the help from the front desk, they went above and beyond to get us what we needed. 😊 overall happy with our stay

Best hotel of the vacation so far!

I booked this property out of panic due to a family emergency and having a parent hospitalized and needed a room for myself and my family. I put the room in my husbands name due to me being at the hospital so he could check in easily. He gets there with my kids and is completely given a hassle over a measly $50 incidental fee. I had paid for the room IN FULL already. My husband told the lady at the desk our situation as well as I talked to her myself and she refused to be any sort of emphatic. I offered to pay over the phone from the hospital and told her to use the card on file and she refused. Told me the card had to be in my husbands name for check in. I had to leave the hospital to get him and our kids checked in just for her to use the same exact card I used for booking that she said he couldn’t. She just handed me the door card with no words. She didn’t tell us when check out was, details about breakfast, absolutely NOTHING. Her attitude was piss poor! Then we wake up the next day to the cleaning ladies knocking at or unlocking our door every 30 minutes beginning around 10:30 when checkout was noon. Then we prepare to leave and we’re not notified at all that the elevator was broken and we were on the top floor.

Stayed 5nights. Everything was perfect except that my room was cleaned only once during my stay. Probably forgotten. Yet I will definitely come back to this wonderful hotel.

The elevator didn’t work, one plug in in my room worked to charge my phone, the alarm didn’t work, and we saw a roach.

Staff was great. Accommodations were good. Breakfast was fresh, big variety and overall excellent. Great dining shopping less than 10 minutes away.

Very nice time

Assigned elderly couple farthest room from the lobby, even after pointing out my husband was here to have a heart procedure next day. The front desk clerk couldnt have cared less.

The internet was horrible. My children weren’t able to hook up to their PlayStation. We were told to use our hotspot. I called to report on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving that the toilet wasn’t working. No one came to check on the toilet until that Friday evening. We were unable to flush it. My husband had to continuously go into the back of the toilet to flush it. The water was running non stop, too. The lady at the desk said that she would leave a note. I mentioned it every day and no one came to check it out until the night before we were to check out. We had a two bedroom with two bathrooms , but 7 family members trying to share one bathroom and having to disturb other family members while sleeping wasn’t cool at all. I asked that someone accommodate me for my husband playing janitor the entire stay. I’m waiting to hear back. We had seven family members, but would only receive 2-3 small towel and 3 large towels. We were told they would return with more by housekeeping and she returned with 2 more large, but no small.

The hotel is conveniently located. Staff was nice and breakfast was nice. There is a terrible motor or generator kind of sound inside the hotel that goes off about every 40 seconds all day every day that we were there, and it was extremely annoying. Also, we only had the room cleaned once and we were there for 5 days. The cleaning crew is not very flexible coming back to clean later if you are still in the room. Did not rest well at all and trash kept on piling up.

Staff was super nice and upgraded my room because they didn’t have the room I had booked. So we were given a suite that adjoined each other. That was cool. The only concern we had small roaches in both rooms. Rooms were clean just believe they could use an exterminator and get this under control. Definitely would not recommend staying here again.

Hotel furniture could use a a little updating but everything was clean and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection changed a little each morning, could have been a little more variety as I was there 5 mornings and had mostly same item. Appreciate the reusable dishes and cutlery on weekdays.

The room were nice size and there was plenty of space for 8 people to stay in the suite. But the cleanliness of the room was subpar at best. Lots of dirt and grime on the base boards, walls and head boards, the were also splashs in the stove area. The front door was hard to access at night but there was always an employee to assist. Breakfast was decent even tho the tea/coffee were not hot.
