I didn't like that they took the coffee makers out of the room.

Property was dirty from the hall, walls, doors, etc. most of the staff were friendly expect one lady who was noticeably irritated that I wanted to purchase snacks and she had to come in from smoking. The pool had a closed violation sign from the city yet people we’re swimming but the guy at the front desk said he just started and didn’t know what that was about but the pool was open for use so that was scary. Overall the stay and stay weren’t horrible they just need to maintain the upkeep. Oh and whats the point of having parking in the back if none of the back doors work to get in.

I saw positive and negative reviews after booking the hotel and I was a bit nervous after seeing some of the comments. The hotel is a bit dated; however, check in was quick, the room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was good. There were no issues and the staff was friendly.

Location and price were excellent. Room was OK. The places seems to need a little refresh. Elevator was broken. There was a roach hanging around in the bathroom. I guess it could have been worse. EV charger cost too much.

Close to airport The room was filthy and smelled heavily of mold and mildew. The smell was overwhelming the moment we walked in. We were moved to a second room, but the issues remained. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was unacceptable, and we would not stay here again.

The front desk staff and kitchen staff were fantastic I have never stayed in a hotel where housekeeping did not come to my room and clean. If they did not want to clean , the least they could do is empty trash and give new towels. I came on Friday night. There is rust coming from the bathtub /shower, and I just disregard that. But there was a hair on the wall in the shower. Not mine. So I disregarded that. However in the morning I left my room at 8:45 am and came back at 11:30 or so at night and the place was left the way I left it. Nothing done. I was nice enough to put the used towels in a pile. They were still there. The beds were not made and the trash was not emptied. With all of these things NOT being done, of course one can assume the place isn’t clean. I notice smaller things like dirty bottom of toilet, trash on the floor. I called down to the front desk and complained. The nice man at the desk apologize and gave me clean towels. I also asked him for trash bags so that I could empty my own trash and put the used towels in a bag for housekeeping the next day. I am so grossed out. I took all of my blankets and comforters I traveled with and used them on top of the dirty beds . I will NEVER return there. I would have never gotten this service at Hilton, however they were sold out as well as Marriott . I learned my lesson, never again, will I ever stay at a Holiday Inn. I know realized maybe we should have changed rooms but the front desk never offered and I didn’t demand it . So that’s my fault . I don’t want to be rude to the staff and I want my $50 incidental charge returned !

My only complaint is being taken advantage of when I had a last minute schedule change due to a baby arriving 3 days early. I would understand paying an inconvenience fee, but paying for nights I’m not using, on top of the charges for the stay, is a little ridiculous. I know it’s a corporate issue, not a location issue, but it will make me look to other hotel chains from now on. Corporate needs to do better. As far as the location goes, it was a great stay with friendly, helpful staff.

Parking was fine, they were out of towels and wash clothes, front desk staff was great and friendly.

How clean the room and premises were The mattress in our room was quite uncomfortable, and we experienced significant noise on one side of the bed whenever my partner entered or exited it. I brought this to the attention of the staff, but unfortunately, no resolution was provided. Additionally, the bathroom door was sticking and made a considerable amount of noise when closed, prompting me to request maintenance. A technician arrived and attempted to fix it, but it proved unfixable. The worker mentioned that the building is scheduled for renovation soon, which, while informative, did not resolve our immediate issue. I also requested an extra blanket and was informed it would be sent, but it did not arrive until the day before our departure. All three TVs did not work properly the internet would freeze just watching local channels it was impossible, that did not get resolved. All of our communications were conducted via text message. When I inquired about potential compensation from the hotel, the individual I spoke with seemed to perceive my request as an attempt to receive all four nights free. I was hoping for at least one night's compensation, but this was not granted. I believe there should be a clear policy for compensation when guests encounter issues within their rooms. I paid the full price for my stay, yet I feel I did not receive the value I expected, and I am quite dissatisfied with the experience. While I have stayed at this establishment multiple times in the past, I am now uncertain if I will choose to do so again. So many issues and none were resolved. The more I think about it, I will not be staying there.

Since this is the third Holiday Express with cleanliness and structure issues we will not be booking with them again. This time it was the window shade and framing broken. The shower nozzle was falling off the wall. The elevator was scary and the coffee tasted awful

The room was pretty run down. I haven't stayed in a Holiday Inn in quite a while and this location didn't make me want to try it again. There were just little things like peeling wall paper, sloppy caulk lines all around the shower. I didn't eat downstairs but my husband did and he seemed satisfied.

Front staff was not supportive and the room key deactivated after breakfast on the day of check out. Never had that experience in my life. Will not be back to this hotel.

The night manager at checkin was great, I had some very expensive equipment in my car and he offered to move his car so I could park right in front.... thats great customer service and the morning desk clerk helpping with a late checkout was amazing!!! Great service all around

It was a pleasant stay except I could hear someone’s steps 4am in the morning coming from upstairs . Was not that bad though. I think still was a very nice place with friendly staffs especially who checked us in at night.

The room was clean and the bed sheets were stained but, clean. I was shocked that a friend brought her service dog to visit me and they wouldn't let her & dog in the hotel?? I thought all IHG were dog friendly and have stayed in the past with pets. That was the ONLY issue i didn't understand. Bathtub was a little curvy & had to rely on the hand bar to get in amd out of the tub. So be careful!

Who ever cleaned room didn’t do a very good job , the side table was sticky also no trash bags in trash cans also refrigerator door did not close

The staff was exceptional, except for the gal that worked from 6 am, she was rude and super non-accommodating. The wonderful lady that did the breakfast buffet went above and beyond every day, a real gem! The pool could really use some love, we never went in it because it did not look clean and we were there for 11 days. The grounds are deplorable. Weeds everywhere, the rock needs to be replenished and there are so many strobe lights on the outside of the building that need to be replaced. We will be returning as it is so close to family and the pros outweigh the cons. Also, the girls that clean the rooms were very helpful and accommodating.

The property is average, amenities were as expected, most staff was average as far as customer service. Outdoor pool was average. The rooms do have a microwave and mini fridge. The only outstanding thing about this place was the breakfast attendant—Hispanic lady, I think her name is Maribel? I wish I had written her name down. Truly amazing customer service

I made a reservation at the hotel, but because the airline canceled the flight and I couldn't arrive on the indicated date, they didn't change my reservation, much less refund my money. The manager only answers by email. Very good work.

Aging property. Not well organized. We were erroneously asked to check out of our room to be relocated to another room at 3pm when we had booked a two night stay. They stated it was because we booked with Expedia. Then we were told they were mistaken after we removed all our belongings. We were only given one bathing towel when we returned to our room.

Very friendly staff

The first room that we were given immediately cause severe allergies to my eyes - itching, redness, watery eyes. I'm not an allergy person, but I immediately knew that a pet had been in before. I told this to the front desk who denied that pets are allowed in the hotel, but he gave us a new room regardless. The new room didn't cause any allergic issues thankfully The next day when returning in the evening to our hotel, we heard a dog barking in a completely different room. The guests likely didn't disclose their pet to the staff and may have brought the pet against hotel policy The reason I'm giving a lot review is as follows: in both rooms that we were given, the carpet was *incredibly* dirty. I forgot my sandals and just walking a few feet made my socks completely black. This much dirt in the carpet can't be good for health We will likely try a different hotel for our next visit

Check in was easy, the location is in a quiet place, and the property is clean.

Room was dirty and gave me the creeps. Had something splattered on wall in bathroom, stains along side of comforter and black hairs on sheets. Rice or some type of food was on the coffee pods in room. Thermostat wouldnt work right. Elevator was out of service and my husband whos had multiple back surgery's and cant climb stairs well had to use stairs.Very disappointing after reading good reviews. Won't stay here again!!

Elevator dont water, ice machines are only on certain floors so you to climb up and the stairs for ice, very noisy! extremely noisy!!!!!

The location was very convenient to the hospital, so I will be staying there again when we go back next month.

Booked a 3-night stay during the winterstorm so I can drive to and from work safely. I got the standard room with a king bed. The place was spot on clean and very comfortable. Enjoyed the hot showers and the free breakfast too. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Will recommend this stay with colleagues and friends.

Well the room was very comfortable and pleasant to stay in, we had the unfortunate experience of having two bus loads of high school children disembark at 8:30 PM on Friday night. They proceeded to act like children running up and down the halls until all hours of the night Making all sorts of noise and causing a horrible night sleep on Friday which was our second night. We reported this to the manager the next morning, and he advised that he had had several complaints, but the night manager had apparently done nothing about it beyond registering a “strike”. Considering the nature of the problem, night manager should have sought out the trip sponsors or chaperones and rectified it quickly. Instead they let a bad situation remain until anyone who was trying to sleep basically didn’t.

The Holiday Inn Express in Plano was a great place to rest! The staff was great, the breakfast was shockingly good, and the room was incredibly comfortable. The bed in the room was so comfortable I actually slept through the night two nights in a row, which is not common at all. The overall experience was great!

It was very enjoyable. Check in and out was quick and easy. The beds were comfortable and there were actually good sized and comfortable.

The front desk check at check-in was professional, kind and customer-service oriented. She set the tone for the stay in such a great way! The queen sized beds were comfortable, AC in good working order, no weird smells, clean rooms, fridge and microwave clean and working, TV working, clean remote, and the water pressure was super. The free breakfast was great, too! They even had gluten free muffins and bagels, which I’ve never seen at a hotel. It was a nice treat! USB ports in the rooms for easy phone charging. Shops nearby and a hospital right around the corner. There’s an outdoor pool, but I didn’t visit it. There’s also a nice little gym with an elliptical, bike and treadmill. This is my new favorite hotel for trips to the Dallas area!

Room was nice. Breakfast was good. Bedding had a slight odor like it was still damp when bed was made. Room above me stomped around their room all day for hours. Which was unpleasant. Overall was nice and would stay here again.

Quite, clean, and good breakfast.

Place was okay but, the card reader was broken upon entry but still read my card luckily. Walls were thin so I could hear all the stomping and talking around me. Internet was okay, couldn’t put the WiFi on my Xbox and the Ethernet plug didn’t help at all. End of the day I got what I paid fo.

Beautifully ran and close to everything

I had booked this hotel for family and the staff went above in beyond in helping me make my out of state traveling family feel taken care of. They also had lots of options for breakfast especially those with dietary restrictions. Thank you Katie and Tracy!

The property does not have a exterior door or security to avoid strange people to approach and enter the lobby and perhaps into the rooms areas and corridor. My daughter was staying at the first floor and one night I drop her at the main entrance but I had to stop because I saw a strange man walking around with a stroller without a baby. He left the stroller outside and entered the lobby two times, then he walked away inti the dark open space in the back. He looked more like a homeless asking for money.

Ev charging station was a joke. The way it was set up was just weird like you could park your ev on the grass. Every outlet in the room was non functional.

The property does not have a fence or barrier and strange or uninvited people may walk around and pick through windows. My daughter stay at one of the rooms in the first floor and one night I saw a guy walking with a stroller but clearly he was not a guest since he parked the stroller outside, entered two times and then walked away around the building to disapear.
