Great customer service and very helpful

It probably wasn’t as bad as I’m making it sound, but you get off on a bad foot from the get go, it compounds you feeling of the entire facility. Unfortunately, the property itself was really nice, but 2 minutes after walking through the front door made the entire stay miserable. I had made the reservation for 4 adults, prepaid, no special requests, a simple booking. When I approached the front desk, as usual, I was asked for my name. It did not come up in their system. She I was asked for my license. No problem. I stood there at least 3 minutes before another work came out of the lady’s mouth. When she did speak, it was to tell me she could not find the reservation so I must not have booked their hotel. I told her I had a confirmation. She never bothered to even ask. I opened my app and showed her. I waited another few minutes while she kept tapping on her computer. I finally asked her”is there a problem”. She said. “Well, it’s just not in here so I can’t check you in”. I told her she needed to call somebody because I booked it, paid for it and even brought up my credit card receipt. She didn’t say, I’m sorry let’s see if we what we can do”. I told her to call someone, she said she couldn’t and u would have to call Bookings.com. I looked through my app and couldn’t find any phone number, only an email. An email sure wasn’t going to help me so I started trying to find a number online that I could call. Well, more than 20 minutes had passed. One of the others in my party came in to see if there was a problem. I started to explain and then the lady says she has the number to Bookings,com and I wrote it down and tried to call immediately. The number was no good. It said this number was not a working number, blah, blah, blah. I had it on speakerphone but she never said a word. I looked her and asked her for the corporate number for Courtyard. She tells me they wouldn’t be able to do anything because it was between me and Booking.con. I told her I didn’t care if they couldn’t help, I wanted the number. She started typing on her computer again, I assumed to get the number.

Amazing hotel with ideal quiet location.

Location was good, beds were extremely comfortable. No included breakfast. WiFi was ridiculously slow, the worst we've had in years.

Rooms were nice and clean beds were very comfortable. Staff was very helpful left before the breakfast open and didn’t use the bar but as I say, everybody was helpful and everything was clean would stay here again.

It was good. There was absolutely no breakfast options, which I’m sure the booking said, but we missed completely.

Location Beds are old and firm. The hotel was dated and could use updating. The girl on staff at check in was absolutely horrible. 1st no one was a the desk at check in for about 15 minutes then when she got there was in no hurry to check me in. The lobby was full of people which made her absence really even less excusable to leave area unattended. Then went to room called about tv issues was told to unplug it and then plug it back in. OK great move dresser and tv then plug it back in didn't work. Called and it took her about 15 to 20 minutes to move stuff to the room right next door. Hmm....

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The staff were so friendly and helpful! No free breakfast was my only complaint.

The staff were very friendly and was happy with the stay for the most part. We stayed here for the convenience of the location for my maternity shoot. Had some issues with our room keys when we first got there but eventually, they worked. The couch had some stains on it and didn't look very clean, so we just avoided it. The elevator made me nervous because of how unstable it felt. I was charged almost $300 for a "smoke free environment" fee. I called an asked and spoke to a gentleman named Andrew, he said they found marijuana in our room. My partner and I do not smoke and not to mention, I'm almost 8 months pregnant.

I paid for breakfast on the app. But they had you buy breakfast...

5 stars for the value versus other hotels in the area, room was clean and comfortable, bathroom sink / counter was small. Breakfast was a bit confusing with pay in advance giving you a limited menu versus paying for other menu items, but we enjoyed the stay.

I was disappointed in our stay. The front desk was very kind BUT the restaurant had a broke oven so there was no warm food for dinner nor breakfast. There was a must smell and its an older hotel. The walls were buldgjng in areas. We had a balcony room on the 1st floor and it did not lock. There was a bar that held the door closed but a tiny tap and it would fall. There were no rooms to change us to.

My room was never cleaned during my 3 days stay. I was told they cleaned the rooms every other day, in saying that mine never was cleaned at all during my stay. I had to ask for clean towels. I had to call front desk regarding running faucet.

Front desk clerk attitude was not welcoming.

I am very happy with this location. Of all the Courtyard properties have stayed over the years, this was by far the best. The rom was clean, comfortable, and it offered every amenity I’ve come to appreciate in a home away from home. The price was perfect, and staff on Texas-OU weekend was friendly, helpful and accommodating as they could reasonably be on such a busy weekend. My room was clean and well-stocked. Thank you for trying to squeeze me in for early check-in (they actually did get me in 30 minutes early). The purpose behind my stay was business and leisure: to test out the Plano area for weekend traffic as well as to test the Monday morning commute from Plano to my office, which is currently a 2.5 mile (7 minutes, door-to-door). And thank you to Amie, who did a beautiful job cleaning/setting up my room. I see you! The idea of a $7 bottle of water I could purchase myself. And I did. I made a hop, skip and a jump over to HEB for the water so I could enjoy a good cup of Joe in the morning before heading into the office. This trip was on my own dime: no per diem or allowance for expenses like these for a “stay-cation.”

It’s very quiet and relaxing. Good for a getaway to get some rest and peace only. The ladies at the front desk were very nice during check in and check out. It’s kind of a small space/room,the room lights were very dim (needs brighter lightning), the balcony is small and the outdoors furniture needs updating. No food or entertainment in walking distance or near by. Not really a stay for big family. Add color to brighten up the entrance to make it feel more welcoming.

Excellent service

All of the staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. The toilet kept running all night and the telephone was out of service which made it a challenge to communicate with front desk. The morning after our first night, there was hardly any body wash in the shower. Of course, we would expect it to be fully stocked and ready for showers.

Pool was being deep cleaned. Would have stayed elsewhere since was there for a state swim meet with kids that want to swim more. Otherwise hotel was clean and staff was friendly. I wish I would have been told about the pool.

Staff not very accommodating. I had to speak to them first. Walls very thin. We could hear the shower and toilet next to us and footsteps above us. Enjoyed the balcony overlooking the pool! It would have been nice to have coffee and water available in the lobby when the bistro was closed between 10am and 4pm.

Awesome stay. Handicap room requested and response was exceptional. I asked for a wake-up call and I didn’t answer on time. They actually sent someone down to knock on door to see if I was okay. This happened two days. Exceptional kindness!! The only thing was there was no hair dryer in room. (and I didn’t call for one but I’m sure they would have brought one down)

I had a comfortable stay, the room was clean and comfortable - however my tv did not work and the staff didn't know how to fix it. I was told this was an issue in some of the rooms. I had my tablet and used the hotel's wifi service to stream content as a backup. Overall, friendly staff and a decent stay for an overnight.

The Courtyard by Marriott was a great place to stay. We had a quick check-in and check-out. Parking was convenient. Overall a nice experience.

Room was clean and area was pretty quiet.

Cosmetically - may be time for an update, but everything works like it is supposed to, clean, and smells nice.

It was a good stay. I didn’t really end up using, but prepaid so nothing was able to be done or so they said. Overall, nothing to complain about.

The hotel is surrounded by office buildings.. you have to order take out or drive to a restaurant… the man who checked me in was very friendly and quick.. the room is a little old but clean

I arrived to check in at 1 am and the attendant was not at the desk right away because he was attending to other guests. He felt so bad about it that he gave us complementary breakfast. Everyone there was very hospitable.

Walking into the hotel, it was presentable, clean, staff was very polite. Making my way up to my room, the elevator was very noisy, making it sound like it was not fully operable (I did use the stairs most of my stay). There was a mild musky odor like moisture or humidity in the hallway. The ice machine on my floor wasn’t working. There was trash in one of the trash cans in my room.

Property was clean and up to date. Staff was kind and efficient.

It was difficult to find this hotel and I was very disappointed when they told me they would not be opening the restaurant for dinner or breakfast the next day, since they were not busy enough. I purposely chose them because they offered the convenience of dining in. I did find the room to be very clean, quiet and comfortable.

Convenient for a one night stay. Easy walk to a holiday party at the near by Marriott at the Legacy.

I booked over a month in advance or several weeks and was assigned a handicap room. They did not inquire if I objected to this type of room, just assigned. When I complained, said they were sold out, sorry! Sorry is unexceptable.

Clean, well kept hotel. The rooms are a bit dated but still very comfortable.
