The room was clean, staff were friendly, environment was quiet and comfortable. Ac worked perfectly.

In living room worked the 1 in the bedroom does not. I was leaving out told the receptionist she said she would get the maintenance guy to look at it. I come back 3 hours later still not working call downstairs again, the lady who came up for the a/c comes she's switching hdmi spots checking plugs notthing. She calls maintenance guy he does not answer tells me when he calls back she will come back so he could walk her through what to do. We'll she nor anyone came. I tell receptionist when I'm checking out i want to be comped she tells me I'll give you a free night.i said ok I'm going on a cruise I'll be back Saturday. I go back on Saturday he goes I talked to my boss he said give you 10% off.

Our stay was less than desired. The entire hotel had a weird odor. Our room smelled like mold or a dirty mop. We even bought Febreeze and air freshner to try and fix the issue and it persisted. We ended up cutting our trip short and left early, losing money, because we could not stand it any longer. I've been a regular at this hotel and after this, I won't be returning. Very dissapointed.

Terrible front desk staff. Barely edible breakfast. However, I would stay again on account of the room layout and cleanliness.

Clean rooms and friendly staffs

I would not stay at this hotel again… it was not clean, it was run down and the snacks we outrageously expensive. Possible mold on the ceiling, I got sick from whatever allergens were in the room, possibly the mold or whatever was coming from the air conditioning vents. Bath tubs were ran down didn’t even want to shower. They even gave us half used toilet paper.

Our room smelled like a wet dog. I brought it to the front desk and they just said that they couldn’t smell anything, but they could spray some spray on the floor for us. It didn’t make a difference and asked for a refund, but was told no. And a manager would reach out to me and the manager never did. We started to have issues with our AC, not blowing cold air. The AC then cut out and we realize the smell was actually coming from the AC.

The only criticism was the minor inconvenience of a couple of burnt out lights.

Our room was big and the bed was very comfortable!

The location was great, there were many different places to eat and shop nearby. There was a guest with a dog directly across from our room that barked constantly. It barked nonstop every morning and each time we left or came back to the room. Maybe guests with pets should have designated rooms/floor.

Our room smelled like damp carpet. The facilities were old and understaffed, and the gym was out of service. They offer "pool towels," but they really look like handkerchiefs or hand towels. The breakfast was decent, limited but good. I wouldn't stay here again. Perhaps it was my fault for expecting something grand, but overall, the basics fell far short.

Room was ok bed was high as a mountain we had to climb up into it lol and hubby is tall bed was super hard check in was interesting because we used Expedia to book they charged us a $4 cc charge they passed on to the customer???? What’s that about??? I know it’s only $4 but really??? Food breakfast was bleh we went to Paris baguette yum

Very peaceful, clean & quiet, Only thing I didn’t like was the people who came outside at the pool when I was with my family because they were smoking.

I stayed there 3 nights and my room was never cleaned, they claimed It was because I added 2 extra days and they only clean every 3 days of staying there, other than that everything was nice

The cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms were nice and clean. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was well set up and delicious. Great place in a good location.

Close to desired location The weekend breakfast was not great. The eggs were not fully cooked. On Monday when we checked out very limited menu.. sausage and hash browns were both greasy

The breakfast was a nice hot breakfast with biscuits and gravy eggs, sausage, and waffles plus bagels, fruit, yogurt and granola. The staff was very nice and accommodating. AC worked great with our room down to 62 at night! Room was spacious and the King bed was very comfortable

I was in a bad situation with my home life and I had nowhere to go, but fortunately this place I could call home for about a week until my apartment was ready. I want to thank them so much they did.

Been staying at this hotel for the past 15 years. Our last visit will probably be our last. Outside was recently cleaned up, painted and looked good. Inside of the building is past due for updates. Doors around the facility are in need of painting/replacing. Our room showed alot of wear and tear (rusty hinges, bathtub damage, etc.) A lot of patching, but not much repair going on. The bathroom faucet appeared to have a textured finish, but it was actually the chrome finish delaminating. An electric outlet was not working in the breakfast area, but they had a toaster plugged into that outlet. We were told that internal remodeling was scheduled for later this year.

Clean and convenient to the interstate

Breakfast was great, everything was fresh. Our room was very nice, this is our second stay at this La Quinta and we love it here. The staff, especially the front desk clerk Ms. Joyce was fantastic!. She was very friendly, offered room suggestions, just an overall nice person and she smiled all the time, letting us know she loves her job. I have double knee replacements so I couldn't get in the hot tub, but my daughter had a great time in the hot tub! Parking was great also, not too many guests and we love that this La Quinta is close to many restaurants, Walmart, HEB, and medical clinics and hospitals.

Location was good. Close to business center. The hallway leading to the room was dirty and musky. The room had a very strong odor of urine and smoke. We asked for another room and the 2nd room was worse with odor of urine smoke and vomit.

Hotel staff was very accommodating when we needed to stay an extra night (we got a decent rate and same room) - dont forget about the pool and hot tub (my daughters favorite part of the stay) - will definitely stay here again when visiting Houston - La Quinta didnt disappoint!!!!!!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent. Almost always parking close to the entrance available. Room cleaning only every 3 days. Coffee was good at first but the last week they changed it and it was not as good anymore.

The hotel, staff, amenities are all Excellent in Review! Ms. Joyce is one of the most caring individuals and she always made sure that I receive what needed for My stay. I Definitely would recommend this Hotel!

It was a very clean hotel. We ended up having to extend our stay til January 27th, and the staff was great. They let us stay in the same room we were in, and we didn’t have to pack up and unpack like some places. The older front desk lady was super nice, as well as the young man. The breakfast was also great, and the food area was super clean. Will definitely stay here again when we go to Texas.

STAFF WAS FRIENDLY, I DIDN'T LIKE THE FACT THAT THEY CHARGE A SERVICE FEE FOR FRONT DESK AND SERVICE CHARGE FOR CREDIT CARD FEE. THE RIOM WALL ARE TOI HOLLOW AND THE RATLLING NOISE FROM OTHER ROOMS CAN WAKE YOU UP AND BREAKFAST WAS NOT AS GREAT AS WITH PREVIOUS OWNER OF HOTEL.

Perfect for a short stay to visit family during the holidays. The staff went above and beyond even calling me to alert me i had left my late grandfather’s ice chest behind- saving Christmas, as I would have been devastated to leave it behind! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

The room itself looked not well maintained. Water stains in the bathroom. Bathroom's doorknob did not work. Sink's limited water presssure. Room's environment too dark.

Everything was acceptable except for the smell that hit us when we opened the door. The musty odor was just too much. We only stayed 1 night & went somewhere else for the remainder of our 3 night stay

Right when I walked into the bathroom there was a small roach in the bath tub. The TV was weird. When I first turned it on it took a long time for it to get connected to the internet/cable and only had static instead of the sound. After some time then you could hear the movie. Internet was extremely slow. Carpet in elevator and room needs to be updated. Place smelled clean just didn’t feel clean.

The room that was primarily given had a terrible mold smell. I reported the issue & they agreed to change in some time. The management should take care of respectful customer service. It’s always first.

No issues, quiet hotel. They have a 24 hr fitness room, guest laundry and an outside pool. Breakfast was fine (and free). They also have free coffee 24/7 in the lobby. The room environment was fine (it getts pretty humid in that area). Staff was helpfull and responsive. Our room had a mini fridge and mircowave.

The room itself was run down. Lamp shades were broken, also when we turned on the faucet and shower, the water came out brown. It was concerning, and we didn’t feel comfortable using it. Hopefully this has been addressed, but it did affect our stay. Won’t be back

I booked for 4 days stay ! First room we got the AC was not working. The new room the toilet won’t flush. Front Desk JOYCE was very very nice and fixed toilet .. The room had a smell, Wet carpet smell . Every time we came back to room it smelled. I bought air fresheners to help with smell. My sister law room had the same smell so I Just did not ask to get moved . Maybe wash carpets often. The Hotel needs some TLC. JOYCE was very nice always made you feel welcome when she seen you !! Now the other staff not so friendly.

Later they have immediately gave new room when we strongly opposed to take king bed room. They have provided only one bath soap and only 3 towels when we book the room for 4 guests. Seems we have to ask for all the required things.

Insufficient room insulation. High ceilings were great space between rooms but there must have been elephants in the room above mine who were tramping back and forth continuously until 11:30 p.m. and began at 5:00 a.m.

breakfast buffet at 8:30 had 2 dried up sausages and 3 completely dried up hash browns no bread for toast. asked if there would be anything fresh brown out i was not answered,

The first night was horrible, I was woken by people screaming at 3AM. The place smells old, but the staff was great.

The hotel was wonderful, everything and everyone was super friendly. Only complaint was the fridge did not keep anything cold and my daughter lost 26 ounces of breast milk because of it.

Heather the woman in the front desk reception was awesome! She was so nice and accommodating with me and my family! Our rooms were very clean and the hotel was well kept, the breakfast in the morning was very good as well!
