MCM Grande Hotel FunDome Odessa

The free breakfast was delicious, and we especially loved the option to make our own omelets. Most of the staff was kind and helpful, although there were a couple of employees who seemed a little bothered when we asked simple questions, such as where to find a bowl or if they could bring more coffee when it ran out. Overall, the kids absolutely loved the pool and hot tub area. We also thought it was such a fun touch to have a balloon maker available for tips only! Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had an enjoyable stay overall. We would definitely stay here again!

I like the amazing breakfast and that there are places for the kids to play and be entertained. I like that I was able to get a 2 room suite with 2 bathrooms so everyone was comfortable. There wasn't anything I didn't like.

I love how family friendly the property is !! There are plenty of things to do with the family swim,play @ indoor park, have dinner, & they also allow 2 free drinks for adults . rooms were exceptionally nice ,clean , with plenty of space , beds were very comfortable overall great experience will definitely recommend & be going back myself. The location was a bit sketchy but aside that lovely place to stay

While I haven’t personally stayed here, our technician had no complaints and had a comfortable stay. Most importantly, he felt safe with a work truck full of tools and equipment, which is a HUGE plus in my book when I’m booking rooms for our traveling techs. I would absolutely book here again!

Having worked for MCM when I was younger, I never really captured the totality of being a guest and how special it is to have been a part of the staff that helps brings the comfort of home to the guests. As a mother and wife now, staying at the Fundome, I was sincerely happy with the stay, my kids rated the stay at a 10 stars out of 5. I am looking forward to many more stays in our future.

Early check-in

The room was anything but clean. There were bugs in the coffee machine and hair in the “plastic covered” cups. The walls had webs and the room was very clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival.

All you need to know is ill definitely be booking ALL my hotel stays there whenever I take 5 hour trip again from San Antonio to Odessa/Midland again. Very well worth the trip to see an old friend.

My sister was to arrive with her family she stayed behind due to an ER. So it pushed arrival back until 2am and they wouldnt allow my niece to check in due to audit. She had children under 3yrs and they were exhausted! I contacted Expedia to see if they could help. I demanded they refund the first night due to inconvenience of check in and they at which point would more than likely not even have breakfast that morning. I am disappointed as someone should've explained to me about audit hours when I spoke to the staff at the hotel twice that day before they arrived.

The kids loved being able to hang out and play mini-golf and ping-pong. Breakfast was great. Indoor/outdoor pool was fun and hot tub is always a plus. Highly recommended for families.

I did not feel safe with having my two daughters and their babies there. We ended up staying in the room with the door locked and the table in front of it and sleeping in a bed with wet sheets. The mattress on the sofa bed was also like 1.5inch thick and was FILTHY. I stayed at this location many of times and this is the worst I’ve ever seen it. I also locked myself out of the room and needed to get a key, when I went to the front desk she just gave me a key without any form of identification from me which is a huge safety risk.

Our experience at this hotel was excellent. Check-in was flawless. We received the type of room that we requested. Everyone here is very friendly. Toom was clean and comfy bed and pillows. The hotel is currently going through some renovations, but the staff really minimized the inconvenience. Thank you.

Biggest issues were the toilet not flushing properly and the water from the shower smelling terrible. Otherwise it was pretty good. We had fun in the play area and the pool. The food was decent.

The property has a pool, jacuzzi and sauna making the stay fabulous. The only issue was they have only 1 elevator located in the center of the property. The stairs were hard to take but next time I will request a downstairs room. Every thing else was absolutely perfect!

Horrible experience, my wife and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and when we were walking out of the elevator to eat breakfast my wife slipped and fell because of creamer or milk that was spilt by kids, told the general manager and he didn't do anything to make it better,

I began staying at MCM Fundome in 2019 as a getaway from the RV park or the mancamp. I love this place AND their other properties too. I love the all inclusive services. Restaurant and lounge just a few steps from my room. They have an excellent breakfast buffet and an omelet station. The only heartbreaking thing about the omelet station is noone tips hardly anymore. That lady works hard to put a smile on your face for your made to order omelet. I felt bad that I only saw one person tip $5 out of all those people so I gave her $20 myself. We both ended up with a smile that morning. Thank you Fundome, I will be back.

Our stay was okay overall. What made our stay just "okay" was the fact that we had to get our keys re-scanned almost daily. Nothing worse than getting all the way up to our rooms after a long day only to find that our keys didnt work. That was ridiculous. We took all the precautions the front staff told us to take such as not putting the keys next to phones, fobs (etc) and still, the keys wouldn't work.

If I had anything to complain about, it would be the internet, which tends to be on the extremely slow end and even randomly just goes out. Upgrading the internet to higher gigabit speeds so it can maintain good connection speed for the number of guests would be a great boon... other than this one thing, EVERYTHING else here is wonderful. :)

I was VERY happy with the property. They had a pool, a hot tub, and a dry sauna, all were in excellent condition. The breakfast was freshly cooked and they even had an omelet station. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again. Best value I've gotten in a while.

The hotel has a lot to offer. Indoor/outdoor heated pool. Jacuzzi, sauna and a play tunnel and golfing greens for kids! The staff weee great.

I was looking forward to the use of the hot tub. However there was never an opportunity to enjoy it because it was always s full of kids. It should be reserved for adults only. Information of ALL the amenities and activities should be shared at check in.

This hotel is very old smelled terrible. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very helpful. It was easy to check in and out.

Was not able to sleep. At 10:30 there were 5 police cars with light on in the parking lot. Someone over me walked all night, guests were smoking in the breezeway next to my room. A dog barked all night in the room next to me. Went down at exactly 9:00 and wasn’t allowed to eat breakfast. Was told it was closed. I can’t recommend

Didn’t like much about the property This hotel is very outdated for the amount of money that you pay. It was the worst place I’ve ever stayed in the tub wasn’t even clean very squeaky thought we were gonna fall through when we took a shower. It was just a horrible experience there

I was able to bring my three legged fur bby. Had to pay a deposit for her (which i got back). The room was clean @0),! and staff was friendly. The kids running up and down the halls

We stayed in a parlor suite for a week and it was okay, nothing fancy. The room was clean and the indoor pool/hot tub were fantastic! The staff were always available and super helpful.

The hotel was packed with other guests but was still able to enjoy the pool. Some stains on the carpet and walls in uncommon areas such as under the table in the room. Worst part there was a single gunshot that rang out right outside the door in the morning before check out and someone ran. It was an exterior room. Over all it was okay

Good hotel with the best breakfast.

The hotel needs some updating. We found it clean, plenty of towels and amenities provided were good. The toilet & shower didn’t work well. The receptionist was very knowledgeable, answered every question and was friendly

Stayed Saturday night thru Monday morning, kids got to walk past a de*d person that passed from an O.D in his vehicle. A lot of sketchy people. and our A.C didn’t work so the room was hot. Would have asked for a refund if it wasn’t a pain to go thru.

Room was great, amenities were perfect. Two issues were part of the outside walkway ceiling fell and found 2 roaches in our room. Have stayed here multiple times and have never had these issues. Property maintains the property great, must have been an isolated issue.

We were moved to inside room, outside wasn’t ready. It was wonderful to get a suite. I did notice that the beds were not as comfortable as other rooms when I have stayed there.

As usual everything was very good. The only complaint I would have is the breakfast buffet. The lady who makes the omelets is excellent and her omelets are delicious but the hot food at the buffet has a freezer burnt or stale.taste. It smells really good so it’s disappointing to have that kind of taste with your food

The kids and I absolutely loved this place. We are definitely planning to come back soon. The restaurant and drinks weren't that good but honestly that was small portion compared to the fun we had.

The area had fun amenities for kids

This place has gone down since the last time I was there. Dirty rooms. So many people hanging outside their rooms. Normally get a inside room. Pet hairs all over the floor & all the lady said was she'll get them to clean it. Tub & sink had hairs in it still. Had to put a towel on the floor to step on the carpet. I have allergies so I was very uncomfortable the whole time. Couldn't wait to leave there

The hotel amenities were plus there was a playground a mini golf course a hotel Jacuzzi indoor and outdoor pool. There’s a restaurant that serves breakfast luncheon dinner on Sunday. They had a balloon clown come and make animal balloons for the kids. They made our beds every day and clean the room we had a really good time and will definitely be back.

Had the best stay ever here I didn’t have to go anywhere they have everything even a restaurant that has good food I most definitely will always stay here when I come home

It was a ok stay. Only problem we had was the "restaurant" inside the hotel. No help at all when it came to the setting and dinning. I Couldn't communicate because they only spoke Spanish. Luckily my husband speaks a little. My husband and daughter ate the buffet that more then likely had been out for about 5 hours before we got there. And they both got food poison.. so first night was bad. And paid 87 bucks for 2 grilled cheeses and 2 buffets 20 a piece and 4 drinks that was 3.99 a piece. I didn't eat cause food looked nasty.

WE had a room with hot tub..the only thing is that. FIRST check if the hot tub works. Because they move us.. to another room were was working properly. After that every thing was super great.
