The girl at the front was really nice, but she had no idea what to do to resolve the issue

A few days later, I got another reservation and this time I was assigned a room in the other building. When I arrived at midnight, exhausted, I was told the elevators were out of service. I said, “ that’s weird, because you have a broken one in the other building too”. We were given I room on the second floor, When we got up there, we quickly found that the light in the bathroom was flickering off and on and the toilet didn’t flush. I called the front desk and the (really nice and apologetic) front desk attendant said we could move up to the fourth floor and brought our key to us so we wouldn’t have to climb the stairs back down and then up again 4 floors. When we got to the new room, it was about 90 degrees in there, the thermostat on the wall was dead, and there was an actual BROKEN WINDOW. I called the desk again and the guy came back up, gave us another room - which he inspected first this time - and finally we were able to get some rest. It seems like the toilets are on some low water program where they take many minutes -like in multiples of ten - to fill back up

Handicapped accessible room. Tight between bed and dresser. Awkward turn to get into room around the dresser. Also because toilet was in front of the sink, could not access the sink in my chair. Nice hotel, good breakfast, nice staff. Overall good stay.

Rooms need PIP updating. Not very clean. Zero excitement from the front desk staff. Felt like Motel 6.

The 1st room we were given smelled really bad, so I called the front desk and asked for a spray or something. The front desk clerk said they do have spray but it was really strong and most people don't like it. So instead she offered to give us another room and rushed the key upstairs to us and made sure it was good. The hallways was extremely dirty on the floors looked like they haven't been cleaned for awhile.

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness and condition of this hotel. The room felt dirty upon arrival — there were hairs in the shower, the carpet was filthy, and the furniture was peeling and worn out. On top of that, the pillows had an unpleasant smell, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Overall, the room did not feel clean or well maintained. I would not stay here again based on my experience.

The room was what I booked for however the cleaning must've been rushed. The carpet was dirty, tiny hair ties everywhere. Piece of glass under the desk, very dusty behind the TV and the bedframe. Stains on bedding, mattress and carpet which were to be expected since the hotel is old. I did find it very unpleasant to wake up to something under the bedsheets to end up finding a used dental stick/floss.

Iron didn't work, there was not a blow dryer in the room, and ice machine on my floor was out of order. Elevator floor was not cleaned during my 3 day stay.

This is a very clean and comfortable hotel in Odessa!

I like the do it your own waffle but maybe add more 1 waffle maker in sitation where alot of people are eating at the same time.. the pecan coffee also was good. Washroom exhaust system is not working in room 1302..

Faded TV, broken fridge, non-working ice machine, shower door didnt close all the way, office chair was torn up, and found a dead cockroach in the bathroom.

This was by far our worst experience at a LaQuinta. Upon arrival both elevators were out of order. We booked two rooms, opened the door to one of our rooms and was greeted by construction equipment in the room and the room was clearly under maintenance. We were moved to two new rooms. Our king room had a tub shower. The water did not drain properly so when we took showers we would end up standing in 4 inches of water because it would take about 30 minutes for the water to drain. In our double room we returned one afternoon to find ants all over one of our suitcases. This was a very disappointing experience. The only bright spot was the front desk staff. The front desk staff were very pleasant, accommodating and professional. I give the front desk staff 5 stars, but sadly despite the property being fairly new it needs a lot of maintenance help.

My room was next to ice machine, which was VERY LOUD every time someone would get ice.

The front clerk to help was great and really nice and professional. Our second night there was a belligerent guest in i'll wait down from us. The man was cursing and talking loud, slamming doors through the hallway at one o'clock in the morning. This is so disrespectful & a disturbance. I called the front desk and made a complaint. However, he started back doing the same thing again moments later. At this point he should have been asked to leave. Again this is disrespectful and unacceptable for other guests who are trying to rest.

The cleaning condition was very poor. In particular, the floor and bathroom were very dirty. I would not go there again and would not recommend it.

Warning!!! If you’re in a wheelchair, or handicapped, please stay away!! Our room was on the very end of the hall; the absolute opposite side of the hotel of the elevators. So to have a child with cerebral palsy walk that length was out of the question. The room was in a terrible state, from the ac wall gauge not working, the fibers of the carpet coming up a few inches and getting stuck in wheels, to the rusty screw sticking out of the bathroom floor in between the toilet and bath, the shower curtain having holes and stains all over it, to the beds dipping and the pillows being paper thin. Now to the cleanliness of the property…the outside is covered in bird nests and poop, the elevator sounds like it’s about to break and is covered with sticky stuff on the walls and floors, the sheets and towels had hair all over them. It’s like the people that work here just don’t care and don’t understand that they’re in the hospitality industry.

The overall stay was great. The customer service at the front desk was awesome. They were polite, and made sure that my reservations were correct! Amanda, Rebecca, Karla were phenomenal. They took care of my staff and my team!

The desk staf was very good. The rooms were dirty, the shower had not been cleaned and there was used soap in it. The pillow cases had blood on them and the bed had hair in it. It was made but dirty.

The room in which we stated was atrocious. It had not been cleaned. There wa black spots on the pillow case..pink bacteria in the shower, the mattress cover was ripped, I wiped down the door and had a ton of dust. Still waiting to hear back from the manager. I definitely would not stay here.

I told the front desk that my room was not totally clean. The floor was not vacuumed. The furniture had crumbs on it. There was hair in the shower. They told me they would give me a new room. I went to the new room, and found a bug on the floor. I showed them the bug, and they said they could not transfer me to a lot of rooms. They said they would tell the manager, so she could give me something for my inconvience. They never did.

Room 1108 needs to replace the tub valve. There is not enough pressure on the showerhead because of the leak in the tub valve.

The door was also very difficult to open and we had to get the front desk to open it almost every time. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the maintenance and cleaning at this hotel left a lot to be desired.

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was really good. If we return to Odessa we will definitely stay here. Staying here will have me looking at LaQuinta by Wyndham on our next trip.

This was the last night of our stay in Texas for a graduation trip. We flew out early the next morning. This hotel was amazing very clean with excellent customer service.

Keys didn’t work, a lot of dirt at the entrance of the door, no power inside the room, pills on the floor, and to top it off was old food in the microwave. Terrible experience. I immediately requested a refund and found a different hotel a few miles down the road that didn’t have these problems,

I would suggest, in this particular location or instance, to ensure that housekeeping or maintenance does the mopping of the common areas, not the desk clerk. Much more professional, and much more in tune with their specific assignments. And the desk clerk wouldn’t smell of cleaning products. Not her fault, I totally realize, but she should be “the face” of LaQuinta, fresh and helpful.

Quiet and clean

It’s spring break and we took a road trip all across Texas. We’ve stayed in various La Quintas the entire week and had nothing but incredible experiences. Until this one. Believe the reviews! The housekeeping DOES NOT change the bedding they remake used beds! We had someone’s stinky dirty socks in our bed then had to do their jobs for them and change the bedding ourselves and then we found a bedbug in the bed! IF YOU CHANGED SHEETS MAYBE YOU WOULDNT HAVE BUGS THAT IS SO NASTY!!! The man working overnight was amazing and super nice. The ladies and management the next day were awful and rude. We left and stayed at the Hilton (so much better please go there instead!) and got a refund, we will def not be back in our future trips. Absolutely unacceptable and vile. I’ll attach photos of the disgusting conditions.

The room was beyond clean, both ppl at the desk were kind and helpful. Anna had a wonderful breakfast set out nothing was missed I'm a bacon girl and Anna made sure i had enough. I love the noon check-out. I was also traveling with 2 cats and wasn't charged an arm and a leg as the Hilton tries. I WILL be staying again. It was Awesome.
