I loved it overall. Everything was very clean and staff very nice

Loved the location! There was a Sunday event on the patio below our room, with a DJ from 4:30-10:30 pm. This would keep me from staying in the future.

The room was clean No water pressure, asked for a room with a garden tub but didn't get it, an alarm woke us up at 3 one morning only to be told it happens all the time. The parking was horrendous

Rooms were clean Only given water and tea and coffee supplies for first day and was staying for five so had to ask for top ups- and in last night told they had no creamer. Pool area had no shade and it was often 100deg. Rubbish not collected so had five days by time we left. Toilet blocked. Shower didn’t work properly

Jakob from front desk is always so nice and helpful. Ryan was also sweet. There is another front desk person with long hair and big glasses she’s very sweet as well. Always very helpful as well. There is always one rude front desk person he’s a young man never greets ppl. And the new front desk lady who was house keeping charged me extra for my room after I paid for it online and it makes no sense! There’s never a manager around to respond to things like this.

The staff were pleasant but basic things expected not in place. Wifi in the room never worked; networks could not be accessed unless in public space. The restaurant was fine for breakfast but the bar area was sub par, poorly lit and not that welcoming. Public spaces were fine. Chose it for proximity to convention centre. Got loud being on a Main Street as sound insulation was poor. And no grocery or drug store nearby was a disappointment.

The property is tired. Needs an update.

Only one elevator working, not a single ice machine works, Starbucks only open until 10 or 11, bar was closed two of the nights we were they and were supposed to be open. Very run down and need of updates. Did not feel safe walking from the parking garage down the road alone.

Enjoyed my stay, just was unable to take a shower because of no hot water I let if run for a while still nothing changed had to shower at the next hotel that I booked

Staff was so kind, the girls in the front desk are the sweetest and very welcoming! The hotel itself is old, and tbh a little scary, the ac took a while to get started and would occasionally turn off and become humid inside the room. I would say if you want a newer hotel with several amenities, this is not it!

We did find that the rooms are not well taken care of and very dated and dirty.

Staff were great, clean room just old smelling and the ac smelled like smoke.

This is a very nice hotel, clean and updated. The location is great and parking is easy and convenient. Staff is wonderful. There was only one elevator working which was an inconvenience for 11 floors. Also, our room thermostat was stuck on 70 degrees, not bad but I do like a colder room at night. If it weren't for those two things, I would have given 5 stars. I would definitely stay here again.

Location is great! Rooms had a humidity smell. The ceiling had a large patched spot. No microwave or fridge. The tub had lots of stains and scratches.

This is a decent hotel in a decent part of "downtown" for as big as Midland is. They do need to get a pest control service in there to combat some of the pest problems that could be noticeable while walking in the hallways. I think overall, the hotel is decent but it could use a refreshing in the rooms (I stayed in a suite and the bathroom was extremely small for a suite). Yes I would stay here again, but that's only because there aren't much better options in the area.

The building is currently being developed and also undergoing repairs No air-conditioning in the restaurant as was under repair

Found glitter goo on the tile floor and inside the shower. Room was missing a blow dryer and the iron was not getting hot enough. Overall I stay here quite often. Will still recommend.

Good God, please do not stay here unless you want to deal with the most ignorant hotel staff imaginable. I tried to get assistance from someone with the last name Nazario, and he actually told me I made him uncomfortable simply for standing near the check‑in desk. When I first arrived, he was FaceTiming someone, and another front desk person had to help me, while actively vaping as I walked up. There was zero urgency to assist anyone, only a clear desire to be rude and rush guests out so they didn’t have to be bothered. Then I went to the dinner area that was supposedly open, and it wasn’t, well before their 10pm cutoff. I cannot believe they hire such completely unprofessional children to run what is supposed to be a well‑known, high‑end hotel. I’m honestly shocked by what I just experienced, and I hope you never have to go through anything like this. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here.

It is no were near how nice it used to be. It used to be a Midland gem. Now it no better than a motel 6

The hotel was terrible. The pool was broken and it was closed for a while. The elevator to our room on the eighth floor was broken. We had to go up and down the stairs for over a half a day. The rooms did not have any towels and we weren’t able to ask for more than two towels because they didn’t have them. The hotel was rundown and the front desk was overwhelmed by all of the guests so she of course, had an attitude. Our room also did not have any towels when we got there.

However, the room was playing in the beds were comfortable.

Rooms need to be updated in South Tower. Parking not great. No mini fridge. Out of towels. Main elevators out of order and multiple Ice machines

Towels were very old and dirty. Parking was not convenient. Dated rooms with carpet in bad condition and walls showing water damage.

Bed: Discovered pillow was dirty AFTER using it all night. Flipped it over and it was filthy. Had I known, I wouldn't have used it at all. Sheet was dirty on top edge of mattress. Not great lighting in the room, hence not noticing the dirty sheets and pillowcases. Website said breakfast was included ..... NOPE! It was available for an additional fee. Nothing mentioned they charge your credit card an additional $75 for "incidentals," and it takes them five days to issue the credit if not used. Site said onsite parking .... nope! Street parking or parking garage (next door). Parking garage said hotel guest parking ..... but it was the top level. Would have been ok IF the elevator worked and didn't have to carry luggage down and up six flights of stairs. They had valet parking BUT charged an additional $25 per day. Again, that wasn't mentioned at all on the website. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Check in said she wanted us to know all the additional charges due to website NOT including this information.

It was an okay room with nothing exceptional. Did not have a hair dryer in the room and it took a long time for the hotel to locate one and bring to us.

My little family and I enjoyed everything about our stay. The rooms were nice and clean, the pool was perfect after a long day, and it’s in the middle of everything with a walking distance!

First time leaving a bad review! Pool was throw up floating, found a needle under the bed, Starbucks inside the hotel didn’t have many things.

Poor was filthy. Smoking all around. Water was disgusting scum all in it and trash and dropped food all outside around pool. Also on stairs going up floors as well as inside entry way of pool there was smashed dropped food

After I went to the funeral service and came back to the room and then the alarm went off three different times the emergency alarm. So we walked three flights of stairs and when we got to the first floor, then they announced that it was a false alarm. This one lady walked down eight flights of stairs before they announced that it was a false alarm. On the way there, On my way to Midland I kept calling up place to confirm my room and they kept putting me on hold and never answered me. I also videotaped how slow the bathtub was draining, but I don't know how to load it up and send it to you.

Staff was really friendly and helpful

The hotel is nice and the rooms are spacious. I thought the bed was very comfortable. It is a little dated but nothing too bad. They just need to add a mini fridge to the rooms.

The young lady at the front desk was very courteous and helpful, she got me checked in and on my way in no time. I had dinner at the Lounge which was okay, the bartender was quick and friendly. I ordered the chicken strips and was disappointed to see 2 whole chicken strips and 2 half pieces with a smattering of fries, it did not seem worth $16. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable; I was happy to get a good night's sleep both nights with minimal noise from outside. I also utilized the gym and was pleasantly surprised to see that it was fully stocked and well maintained. Overall the hotel is a bit older, but I was satisfied with my stay and will likely stay here the next time I'm in town.

Good luck finding the parking garage. High rise hotel with only one working elevator. Apparently the second elevator has been “out of order” for a few years. The coffee shop is open when there is a person available. Television reception was sketchy. No fridge in the room. All in all, simply not a place I’d use again.

The hotel was really nice, great pool, great service, great space in the rooms, we ask for connecting rooms and it was like having a suite for my family. We really recommend this hotel

The time that I stayed it seemed everything was out of order, ice machine, elevator, no ice bucket in the room, no mini fridge in the room, no towels for the pool, etc. The a/c unit in the room was very loud as well as the one by the pool. You have to reserve the roof top if you want to eat dinner. The hotel was clean but is need of some major updates.

Elevator was out of service and hard to get from the parking garage to the lobby, once i figured it out and made it inside the guy at the front desk was rude with a smart ass mouth instead actually being helpful about the elevator situation.

Parking was a pain, 5th floor parking garage with broken elevators. Everything was pretty run down and leaving my vehicles there felt unsafe.

Great location, clean suite, older but quite satisfactory.

The hotel is right across from the Bush convention center, which is the main reason we booked this particular hotel. On Saturdays before noon there is a farmers market two blocks north of the hotel. The room was an accessible room so the shower was wheelchair accessible, but a little messy. The toilet appeared to leak, but might have just been due to the inadequate drainage in the bathroom. The room did not have a microfridge or microwave oven, though we did not bother to ask and didn't pick the hotel based with that requirement. Breakfast was $15 for a buffet. The ice machine on our floor was broken, but was available on an adjacent floor. There are vending machines for water, though the tap was okay. One elevator was out of commission, we didn't ask why. The stairs leaving the lobby aren't well marked. There was an underground garage that had enough spaces while we visited, but could fill up. There appeared to be payed parking in a lot behind the hotel.

Ive been there before and stayed at the north end, it was great. This time we stayed at the south end and it wasn't too bad or good. The room was clean and all, but the ac was noisy as hell. The hall rugs had some splits in it. There was a massive dumpster by the biulding, so I think I happen to catch the place getting ready to re vamp the south end. Any ways, I would stay there again, just recommend the north side. The pool area had some of the floor chipping away, and its an outside pool which my kids loved any ways.

The beds are hard as a rock I don't like sleeping on the floor even though the fourth level you can hear everything on the streets from loud music to loud cars we could not get any sleep I would not recommend it

No phone in the room, no WiFi, one elevator not working, an ice machine that worked on one floor only. Breakfast was adequate but not free. On a positive note, the bed was good.

The room was clean. The room service lady entered my room and was not suppose to so I hope that doesn’t happen again. I told front desk but she said she couldn’t do much about it.

Outdated rooms but great customer service

Clean but severely dilapidated. The room seemed to be mid renovation and they elected to pause the makeover to sell the room. The walls had screw holes for possibly mounting a tv, but that was on a table in front of the wall with holes. Other walls had obviously removed artwork/fixtures but were not repaired nor holes filled. The bathroom walls had rust stains or burns (not sure which)and peeling wallpaper. The vanity and bathtub were very outdated and needed replacement. There was no mini fridge and closest working ice machine was 2 floors up. The oddest thing was the only available (1) usb port was on the alarm clock. The bed was comfortable and the sofa and carpet were new which is what contributed to the mid makeover feel.

The mattress probably is too old, and does not provide a good support.

Hot water was not working. Water was also brown and no matter how longer the water was run, the water never cleared up and continued to have a brown tint.

Checked in, no AC to begin with which was fixed. Room could use updates for sure .

It is an older hotel that needs some maintenance. It would be more attractive with a little bit of work and effort. The room needed a better cleaning. The bed squeaked very loudly with movement. Not all of the rooms have a fridge so you may have to request one. They will bring it right up if you do. The lighting is very dim, even with multiple lamps. There is not a ventilation fan in the bathroom, wish they would fix those. Showers make the bathroom really steamy. The bar is nice to relax and order some good food. The breakfast restaurant is great! We have stayed multiple times. Once again, the staff is great.

The stay was ok. We stayed one night. The location is good. Walkable distance to restaurants. The room was clean but old and smelled musty.

There was no fridge or microwave in the room. The TV did not work correctly, there was no info in the room on where things are located throughout the hotel. This just wasn’t the hotel for us.

Incredibly old and not maintained. Walls have water damage and carpet is very stained. Shower was filthy and mold abounds. Don’t know why or how this got high ratings.

Did not like the construction going on around parking garage but the walk wasn’t too far.

No microwave or refrigerator. My air conditioner had intermittent episodes of heat even after the maintenance came and said to give it 10 minutes at 10:25pm and I called twice before he came. Italy had him up there promptly . About two hours later I woke up sweating. I was exhausted that morning. I was only there one night. Thank goodness. I didn’t bother to speak to the front desk because I didn’t want to hear the apology.

The staff was helpful! It is apparent that the maintenance/cleanliness is lacking. The cabinets in the bathroom/room where chipped, broken, missing trim - which you could tell was once there. The bathroom was dirty - I cleaned it. I picked up items that were left behind by previous guesses in the room itself. I thought a Wyndam hotel downtown would be nice - well kept. It was not. I will not be returning.

Nothing like the pictures the pool was absolutely disgusting. The railing was completely broken into even go into the pool. The room was gross as well as the bathroom. There was actual dried boogers on the wall.

It was SO unbelievably LOUD in the evening and all throughout the night. Cars drag racing or loudly cruising by with music blasting made it impossible to sleep.

Old and dated. Needs a refresh for sure.
