SpringHill Suites by Marriott Midland Odessa

The staff on Sunday morning were absolutely a buzz kill vibe compared to others. The man at the front desk had zero personality or smile. He was very bland and not welcoming.

The staff was amazing and very accommodating. When I asked about using the on-site bbq grills they provided tools and assistance to use them. One of the grills was not working but the staff placed a call to maintenance to repair. The other grill was occupied but we only had to wait 20 minutes while the other guests finished and we were able to use that grill.

Bad cleaning, dirty hair dryer, noisy aircon, non-working shower tap etc...

Breakfast was good, there was plenty to choose from, good variety. The coffee maker in the room could have been cleaned well for use and placed elsewhere spacious so that I could have used it,. And unfortunately the decaf pot downstairs was broken which is what I drink.

The staff was friendly, pool was amazing. Many broken and/or dirty things in room. Curtain was broken and had a huge brown stain. Blow dryer did not work, many lights in room did not work.

We stayed here this weekend, and it was a great experience. The entire property was incredibly clean, and the staff was highly professional throughout our visit. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, great hotel! Rooms were nice and big. The pull out trundle was great for kids. Shower was great. Beds were pretty good. AC was cold. We liked that the toilet was in a separate room from shower. Loved the pool. Breakfast had good options- waffles, eggs (hard boiled and scrambled), bacon, turkey sausage, cereals, oatmeal, bagels, toast, muffins, fruit, etc. We would stay again.

Property is always the best to stay at. Will be coming here consistently as long as the quality and staff are mint. Bedrooms clean, pool is clean.

Rooms were great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is well maintained and clean. Nice and close to the fields we were playing at. Zero complaints.

The staff was the best part of the hotel. Very friendly and helpful. It can be stressful to travel for business, but everyone made me feel more at ease and well taken care of. Thank you everyone! I felt more worried about them and what they were doing all night!

Springhill has consistently been our favorite hotel- and this was no different. Stayed at Home 2 Suites, Comfort, Embassy, etc... on this trip and this Springhill was our favorite.

Room; the room was for handicapped individuals which made it impossible. The hotel staff stated we overpaid through your website. There was no staff available even front desk personnel was hot and miss. The water pressure in the room was terrible couldn’t shower without scalding yourself or hitting your arms on the extra shower head. We couldn’t flush the toilet appropriately because there was no suction. We had to get our own towels, take out our own trash and try to plunge our own toilet. There were plenty of rooms available that would have been more appropriate however with the accessibility code the front desk representative had a very hard time adjusting us to a new room for the remaining 6 hours we would be there. It eventually happened but it was tedious. We are extremely unhappy. We overpaid and we did all the work. We trusted you as we have in the past and this was awful.

I truly loved the property, but I had a very difficult time getting my reservation issue resolved. Despite four attempts, neither Expedia nor the hotel was able to correct it, and I ended up paying for an extra day.

Clean new hotel. Breakfast was pretty decent. Only thing I would call a drawback is the pool is pretty small so a few people in it and it's pretty crowded

This is one of the newer properties in Midland. You’ll want to stay here as many of the other options are very rundown. I moved from another hotel for that very reason. The staff was super helpful in my relocation.

I did not get the name of the lady that checked us in but she needs a raise! :) She was a multi-tasking queen--checking a guest out while simultaneously checking us in all while giving each of us the the best service and attention. As she explained the breakfast times for the following morning, I commented that we would have to leave earlier than breakfast was going to be served in order to get to the baseball fields on time. She put together a breakfast bag for our player with a breakfast sandwich, muffin, and fruit and that was so appreciated. She went above and beyond!

Rooms are spacious and lobby area is nice but the pillows were terrible - lumpy and flat. Honestly couldn't sleep all night which was very frustrating as we were very jetlagged and looking forward to a good nights sleep. Baffling why the pillows are so awful, please throw out and upgrade your pillows. A comfortable bed is probably the most important thing for a hotel room! We would not stay here again even though the hotel itself was nice. As a side note the outside area is full of wind torn plastic bags everywhere, would be nice if they were picked up and trashed.

Really nice hotel. We got the studio which had a separate living space with couch and office. I would definitely stay here again as everything was clean and orderly. Parking was very full but we got in early so was less of an issue for us.

All staff very friendly, courteous, helpful. Excellent location.

The Host that checked me in was very friendly. I got a two bed suite. The room was very nice and clean. The toilet is in a separate room than the shower. The beds are very firm.

We got in late and front desk was friendly and helpful. We were in town for a school event and staff had already been dealing with students and taking great care of them. They even got breakfast set up early so that all the kids could eat before the start to a long day.

We booked this hotel because the description said it had a hot tub. :0( There is not a no hot tub anymore. The list of amenities is not up to the hotel but up to Hotels.com so compair the actual hotel website to the hotels.com.

This hotel was nice and clean! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool! The coffee was good, but the breakfast couldve been better.

NO WORRIES!! QUIET!! CLEAN!! COMFORTABLE!! FRIENDLY!! SAFE!!! Sorry, for all caps, but my point is it is Everything you want in a stay!!! Good location too!! Came for a sports event, super close, good food options, even a fantastic HEB grocery store nearby!!!

Would love to give a better rating but no extra blankets in the room, breakfast was not good. They only serve waffles on the weekends and the coffee was cold. The room was not that clean. Sadly would not go back.

The television in the room was messed. We ask for a late checkout. One room was already cleaned when we came back up and the other room with all our stuff was setting open ready to get cleaned sooo we did not get a late checkout at all.

The shower was broken as water leaked from the bottom faucet. Sheets had stains and did not seems clean. I walked around like 5 times by the front desk and no one was ever there.

It was a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, the staff was courteous and it’s in a great location.

The pool was cold and the hot tub was dirty and off.

Good excspt forbteakfast. It used to be good. An hour before closing evgs almost gone. When we left breakfast still no more eggs. Worst bacon I have ever eaten! Paper thin EXTREMELY crispy and not much taste. Fairfield Inn and Comfort Suiges far superior breakfast.

The room was extremely comfortable and set up in a well manner. The bed was amazing and I could have stayed in it for days. The hotel it self was clean, modern, and impressive for my first stay in these hotels.

Overall the rooms were nice. Did not like that the toilet was separated from the shower. The corner sink with the toilet was weird. Could not see tv from both beds. Breakfast was ok- would have been nice to have waffles or muffins. One side of room was noisy hot radiator while other side blew cold air. Staff ok not engaging

Property was new and nice and clean. Staff was pleasant. Bed was not comfortable, very hard mattress. Hotel had LOTS of teams in for sports and the breakfast was overtaken very early. Saturday breakfast was late to start and no staff to up keep or refill. Maybe think about starting buffet an hour earlier on weekends esp with teams booked. We checked out Sunday morning around 6:30, no front desk staff to be found.

Everything was really pleasant and we enjoyed our stay. My only problem was there was no juice in the breakfast area at 730 am.

Perfect accommodations for me and the family. Plenty of room in the suite we selected for 5 of us. My only issues were toilet took a long time to fill after flushing, and sink could have been bigger in the bathroom.

HEB within walking

I specifically stated I did not want an accessible room. When we checked in the only thing the front desk person said was, “you reserved your room on Expedia” and then he put my wife and I in an accessible room. Did he put us there because we reserved on Hotels.Com?

Also, the bar was not open due to low occupancy and this was not known prior to arrival. No reduction in price or other accommodations were made because of these lacking service s.

Housekeeping only comes if you request it. We requested it for our 2nd day but they didn’t come. I had to get my own clean towels from the front desk.

First when I tried to check in the lady at the front was on her cell phone texting something and I literally stood there for a minute before she acknowledged me. Only to tell me that 1:45 was too early to check in since my check in time was 3. So we went and played my sons baseball games got back to the hotel at about 10 pm. Checked in went to our room and the ac/heater didn’t even work along with the toilet area smelling like sewer! Around midnight called down stairs and was told “ my manager is here and we will check the boiler room for the wiring and if we can’t figure it out we will look to put you in another room we will get back to you in about 10 minutes.” Well needless to say I went back down to my truck for blankets and didn’t bother with them anymore. Froze all night and never did they reach back out to us. Literally the worst night in a hotel I have ever stayed in. I will never stay at this one again

Very nice facility

This was by far the best hotel we stayed at in 2021. The room was actually clean and the sheets smelled like they have actually been washed, all the fixtures worked, and doors closed properly...yeah...we've had some not so pleasant experiences at other places. SpringHill Suites by Marriott is on the good list :-)
