Rooms were outdated and needed repairs. The bathroom door could not close because the top hinge was coming apart from the door frame. Very hard to wrestle to partly close and was very squeaky. Shower door was also hard to open and close. Carpet had a hole that was unraveling. The refrigerator ran very loud, especially noticeable at night while sleeping. Window covering did have a black out curtain, but the side could not be covered so it allowed the light to shine right to the bed into our face. The ice machine was not working, but there was no urgency to repair it or provide any bag ice or any other remedy. The juice machine was not working, but no other option was found. Couldn't they use a pitcher for the juice just like a pitcher of milk was provided?? Fake eggs were served, and other items were questionable in nutritious quality. It seemed the staff did not take pride in their work or provide a helpful attitude. Very disappointed.

This hotel and staff is amazing. I felt very comfortable and this was my 2nd time staying there.

Property is a little tired, but certainly clean and adequate for a stay.

We arrived and checked in. We got assigned to room 108 which smelled like a smoke room. We called the receptionist and she was very helpful. Gave us a different room, on a different wing 134 and our stay was great after that thank you.

Staff attitude ranged from good to excellent. I think management above Frontline may not be encouraging good people? The add-on daily parking fee totaled almost $40, which other hotels in Midland have not done in the past, and the waffle griddle had many months of neglected cleaning behind it. However, value, location, comfort, overall value & amenities and staff are such that I would stat there again.

This hotel is one of the best i have stayed at. The room/property was very clean and convenient location for our stay. The staff was amazing and super nice. I will definitely be reserving this hotel for my future trips to Midland.

room was spacious room was comfortable room had all the necessary to feel at home TV was not showing the baseball world series there was no other TV available in the lobby showing the baseball series we had to go to Hyatt to their bar area to watch it and their TV also had issues

Clean room, friendly staff and nice breakfast made my stay great.

We weren't told about a $5 daily parking fee at check-in and got surprised by the billing when we checked emails at home days later.

The 2 room suite was more than what we expected. Plus we got a room with a balcony which was an added bonus. We will be staying at the Residence Inn the next time we go to Midland.

Immediately found mold in AC system vents. Also, we had the toilet overflow numerous times. We tried to get housekeeping or hotel manager to assist in cleaning but was denied. Pretty old hotel with patch job fixes.

I've stayed several times because of the kitchen's, but this time there was no hot water. I asked 3 times for maintenance, but it wasn't fixed.

I enjoy staying here. The market isn’t always stocked (which is disappointing) and often hit water doesn’t come quick in the shower. Staff are wonderful.

Old hotel. Excellent choice if you want a full kitchen. Marriot arrive in a very old facility. Updated furniture. Not bad.

Breakfast choices varied each day and were hot and always lots of food available when I arrived for breakfast. In room coffee is great, something I look for in a hotel. The hotel is quiet, has a nice eating and reception area. Fridges seemed to run a lot which made it hard to sleep. Front desk personnel were polite and responded well to a few calls I had to make. Fair rate for the room and enjoyed having the breakfast each morning. Thank you.

After we went to bed, there was a strong smell of something burning. The rooms quickly filled with the burning smell. Maintenance quickly came up abd acknowledged the smell. He sprayed some room spray to mask the smell. The source of the smell was never discovered and it was assumed the smell was coming from someone cooking? The hotel manager (via phone) offered a one bed room and a sofa bed in exchange for the 2 bedroom that we had reserved. There were 3 of us and we are not young and not able to sleep on a sofa bed. The "manager" said that this offer was the best they could do. At 930pm, we took the refund and drive 6 hours home. I looked on the hotel site map and it showed 9+ available rooms that they were not willing to offer. This was honestly the worst customer service i think i have ever experienced. The front desk person and Maintenance man were both very nice and helpful. The manager who was not onsite was an easy no when it comes to customer satisfaction.

Clean room and quite large. The room had a bit of an odor like sewage but we were too tired to try and get another room for the night. Side entry from outside door didn’t work. We told staff but the guy could care less though polite.

The building as such is old including the bathroom, faucet and other appliances were all old and out-dated. There was no daily cleaning or change of towels or blankets

We extended our stay one night. They never communicated the extension with cleaning, cleaning kept trying to get into our room despite multiple calls to the front desk. There is no communication across the staff at this place. We’ve stayed here before and the exact same thing happened. I won’t even try to extend a stay here again if I come back. Was told by front desk they would give us extra reward points for all the troubles, never happened. Oh and internet speed is horrible. For the high price they charge, there are other comparable hotels in the area so I would probably try a different one next time.

There was no hot water in the shower. This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel when there wasn't any hot water and it seems to be a chronic issue. Please allocate the appropriate funds to their maintenance team to get this resolved.

Damages and repairs to the property need to be tended to. Our shower could not keep the temperature regulated. It was either burning hot or freezing cold!

Overall this location was okay was very dissatisfied with not being told they had a $20/day incident fee granted you get it back but we weren’t told or emailed anything until we checked in but you also have to pay to park in the parking lot tht belong to the hotel your already paying to stay in very ridiculous in my opinion

Quiet rooms, kitchette, was ok, could have used a stove with an oven!! As I wanted to make banana bread and couldn’t!! The bathroom was ok but with being in a wheelchair it was to hard to try to get the soap and things on the wall.. as everything was to high up to reach it!! And also an arm reaching shower head as with it being so high up to get the water on a person!! Otherwise we had a nice room!! Thank you!!

I love the layout of the rooms. Not close to anything walkable. And hot water was not working. Had to wait like 15 min for it to warm up enough to take a shower.

Staff were very friendly. Everyone was polite and accommodating in every possible way. Our stay was fantastic and I plan on staying here again next time we go back to Midland.

Hot water took too long to heat up and overcharge on my acct even though receipt is different still waiting for Manager on duty to call back 10yrs later. Also while loading luggage someone rummaged thru truck while inside, needed improved security?

OH... you may want to check the hall flooring for termite damage. Multiple areas where the floor would sing about an 1" when you stepped on it.

It was very close to the stadium which held our band competition but we never got new washcloths as housekeeping didn't come and the toilet ran all the time. Good place to stay if you are going to Astound Stadium.

Was charged a parking recapture fee. they did not disclose it up front . Another hidden gimmick to try to extort a few bucks. will not stay here again.

Everything was great except for Sunday morning breakfast. The person that was supposed to be there called in sick and it was about an hour and a half before breakfast was ready. Unfortunately we had to leave and had to go out to eat. Things happen.

Friendly staff, place was spotless, something that is very important to me. Breakfast was fine, what you would expect if you have stayed at other Residence Inns. I always have the plain Greek yogurt with nuts. My husband likes the bagels and cereal. There is a daily hot offering of eggs and sausage.

No hot water in the morning. I let the shower run for at least 10 minutes with no hot water......very disappointing. I normally rate a hotel based on a few small luxuries, and one of them is a good hot shower in the morning. On this point, this hotel failed miserably. Sorry......I will NOT be staying at this particular establishment again.

The stay was actually ok. The hotel room we had was in serious need of upgrade. The furniture was essentially worn out. All serviceable but significant age issues.

The suite was comfortable and had plenty of space. Breakfast was free and had many delicious options.The location was perfect. Easy access to many places we went in Midland and we were able to walk to grande stadium for our event. The only drawback is that there is no ice machine available on property. Apparently the refridgerator in the room is supposed to have an ice maker in the freezer, but ours did not have one. It took multiple calls to the front desk to find all this information out and to finally request the hotel prepare some ice for us to keep in our freezer. But it was the only time the staff were not very helpful. And the convience of the location made up for the negative interaction. I just couldn't pick excellent all around. I would stay here again, I would just be prepared to bring my own ice. :)

Had no hot water called front desk was told maintenance gone for the night will leave a message for it to be fixed. If not will move to a different room. Next morning shower was barely warm then cold. Afternoon husband had to shower it was cold water only. Told the front desk and she asked so nobody came to check it. Told her No. she said she will leave them a note. How much longer is our stay, told her we check out in the morning. Terrible how much we had to pay for no hot water

This place was old, tiles were popped up in the bathroom, no hot water because they put us “on the farthest side of the boiler”. Told us it takes running water for 30 minutes. The pet dander throughout the room is horrendous. Those with allergies Beware! The dog smell is everywhere throughout the hotel.

The ice machine did not work in my rooms freezer so I asked where the ice machine was and they didn't have one. reluctantly I was told by the front desk she could get me some. Today I find a $20.00 charge on my card. I was never told there would be a charge nor should have been charged because they had faulty equipment in the room.
