Baymont by Wyndham Midland Airport

There was a bad smell coming from the air conditioner in our room and it had mold on it so we asked and were moved to a different room. The hotel needs updating and the pool was not working . The breakfast was good and the breakfast room was very clean.

Nasty it smelled. Like cat pee in both rooms lady at breakfast touched every biscuit with no glove and asked me if I wanted one thay were hard as a rock

I stayed in room 104. The room itself was very clean and tidy. The bathroom was clean as well. The tub though. I guess it had holes or something and they fixed it with duck tape.. other than that it it was in perfect condition.

Location Your trolly for baggage was completely falling apart the carpet through out was disgusting ? I felt like the clerk was extremely unhelpful

The hotel is an older hotel and it showed its age. The carpet is worn and the bathroom in our shower in our room was barely functional. We got a wheelchair but the room wasn’t handicap accessible so it would not roll around in the room.

We stayed here the night before a trip to Cancun. The free shuttle was perfect, and we were able to leave our car there while we traveled through their Park/Fly program. Upon our return, the shuttle picked us up at the airport and took us to our car. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We only stayed one night but it was extremely nice. Very clean room although a bit older and needing a bit of TLC. I really enjoyed the breakfast of make your own waffles. My husband wasn’t crazy about the egg and potato option. He said they weren’t the greatest. Lots of cold cereal options. I would put this on my be back list.

There was Urine on the floor around the toilet. Not a good experience, moved to another Hotel.

I loved that we were so close to the airport, but yet so quiet and peaceful. The facility was very well kept , and I was so comfortable that I slept as if I were at home.

It was very close to the airport and the booking.com rate was reasonable. The rooms were clean. The biggest pro I could give is that the rooms have legitimate blackout curtains. The hallways were disgusting, like they never get cleaned and it smelled really bad. The biggest issue is that the elevator is broken and all luggage had to be carried up the stairs. The gap under the door was really big and we had to stuff pillows at the bottom to keep it from lighting up the room. The TVs are decent, but the generic remotes to operate them really don't work with the TVs that well and the TV in our room had a bright red light on it when it was turned off. Finally, the mattress was pretty hard. I understand that it's a gamble and they can't make everyone happy, but they felt extra cheap.

Great staff member helped me find an item I had lost there a few days earlier. Location perfect for airport travel. Elevator still broken. This needs to be fixed. Luckily I had booked a 1st floor room.

It’s near the airport. It’s old, the furnitures show significant wear and tear. The staff is not friendly. You can hear the noise from other rooms.

The staff here is friendly and accommodating. The Indian food restaurant on site is excellent, not to mention convenient after a long day of traveling and not wanting to leave or wait on a delivery. Did not try the other restaurant/bar on site, and the pool is not open yet, but we were very satisfied with everything during our visit

Staff was mean at check-in for my children and did not provide us all the accurate information on shuttle pick up times which caused my children to use an Uber

The restaurant only served spicy foods. It was loud in the hall all night didn’t sleep well. Pillows were so small and uncomfortable

Worked well enough for coordinating with flights at airport. Shuttle stopped at 10:30 so late night arrival couldn’t use shuttle. Beds and pillows aren’t the most comfortable, didn’t get the greatest sleep.

I never wrote reviews. This time I was pretty upset with the night girl who helped us check in. We had been driving 17 hours it was 10 at night. I booked the room third party with no refunds 6 hours before checking in. We arrived and were not given notice the elevators were down. She didn’t even mention it when we were checked in on the THIRD floor. Or the fact there was a note on the side of the desk barely visible stating the fact we could get 100% refund on the cost of the room had we chosen to stay else where. She rolled her eyes and seemed bothered I even asked where the elevators were not knowing they were inoperable. It was only then she mentioned they were down. After I was completely checked in. :(.

Ceiling in room needs repair work. Staff was very good overall. Breakfast okay. Shuffle service was very good in the morning.

You can tell they are definitely making this hotel better. Food was great and room has been updated recently. The interior is definitely nice

Gym was ok

The pillows were horrible. They had taken them and moved all the stuffing down to one end so they were hard squares. I had to open the pillowcase on one and hit the stuffing to the other end to make it a useable pillow. Other than that it was fine. There was a restaraunt but it served Indian food so it was not to our taste.

I can only rate the staff because due to air delays we did not spend the night. We stopped to get a receipt for a possible airline claim and the person at the front desk not only provided what we needed but made great suggestions for our travel route and eating.

The property is in poor shape and needs new carpeting and an overall facelift. The elevator wasn’t working and we were put on the third floor. It would’ve been nice if the employees offered to help us move our bags up two flights of stairs.

Many properties like this one are re-vamped older properties. Some renos are better than others. The lobby looks great, nice fitness center - but when it comes to the room - countless layers of paint on walls, dingy carpets, ancient tub (nobody replaces the tubs when they reno...). That the elevator was out of service wasn't a big deal for me but they should have documented it. Great restaurant if you like Indian food (I do), tacky that they put water on the table then charge you for it. Few healthy breakfast choices, omelets that you must by by the caseload. Their texture is gross and the filling is greasy. Hardboiled eggs would be a better alternative.

The room was a bit dated and not as clean as I would prefer. We were also woken up at 5:30 AM to a domestic disturbance in the room next door. That went on for over an hour. The elevator is still not working which is an inconvenience that has been going on for an extended time and we were on the 3rd floor. When we complained there was no comment or apology for these inconvenience s.

It desperate need of a remodel and deep cleaning. Will not stay at again.

A great and easy check in. Only hiccup was I am 18 , was in Midland for work and they told me I had to be 21. I went back to their website and did not see that any where on their page. If this is policy it needs to be added. I was 11 hours from home, not sure if I was gonna have a room was a little scary. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and allowed me to check in.

Front desk was efficient but room need repainting, AC didn't seem to work even though dial changed on the temp setting and we found someone else's hair on the bathtub. It was safe and near the airport. You get what you pay for.

It was in ok condition but the square pillows were a bit tall and dense. The door deadbolt wouldn't latch due to the door not closing square. There was a gap of about 1 inch on the top of the door and it didn't touch the door frame and the base of the door touched the door frame.

This hotel is the only hotel that is less than a mile to airport. I did not have breakfast as my flight was the 1st flight out in the morning. The complimentary shuttle service took me to the airport at 0500. The only complaint is that my room had a stale cigar/smoke smell that was intensified when the AC was blowing.

Did not have breakfast. There was no controller for the TV, too late to go asking for it. We checked in after midnight. Some of the carpeting looked old. Otherwise our stay was good.

The fact that the elevator never worked during our 3 day stay is unacceptable.

Very convenient to the airport but property was overgrown outdoors and shabby indoors felt dirty and smelled like stale cigarettes throughout the whole facility.

Hotel was alright, not super clean. The room had a smoke smell. We needed the airport shuttle for 3:45am and they said it only starts at 5am. Overall wasn’t a bad place to stay however wouldn’t be my first choice.

The staff is the highlight of this place I flew in at midnight and they were friendly helping and smiling. The facility is dated and needs some maintenance but for a single nights stay it was perfect.

This hotel is in rough shape. The elevator was broken, and the hotel has a musty odor throughout. The air conditioner was barely working. Not a great place or value.

I have stayed in many hotels in many countries, this is the worst, the smell is absolutely disgusting! Room is alright, but if they don’t tear out all the carpet in lobby and hallways this place should probably be condemned.

This is an older hotel, but it is clean and well maintained. There is an Indian restaurant inside of the hotel that has amazing food.

Not suitable for a cardiac patient staying on the third floor. Took pets with me on this trip. Grounds are not suitable to walk pets on the grounds. Too many bad weeds that stick to their paws and hurt.

The elevator is still not fixed-after almost a year. The computer system is either not updated, or too slow and not adding guests to the rooms. This could potentially get someone hurt.

The breakfast was a delight compared to other hotels. My room was clean and linens changed daily. Staff was excellent and friendly. Overall, a very good stay and convenient for our needs.

The hotel is in need of an overall. Bathroom fixtures ate loose in the wall, finishes are worn and in need of repair, overall in much need of a face-lift. I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last 18 months and the elevator has been inoperable all that time and when asked when it will be repaired the desk host has no idea. Time to shop for another hotel near the Midland TX airport. One good thing is that the beds are excellent.

Convenient location. Helpful and friendly staff. Easy parking and very close to the airport. I recommend this hotel for easy access to the Midland airport. This is an older hotel but the sheets were clean, room was clean and everything worked as expected. Good coffee and enough choices at the breakfast. Plus....breakfast started at 5:30am which was very helpful in our situation.

There isn't much in the area if you want to eat. The staff has poor customer service. The clerk watched me come in and stand at the counter before coming to check me in. Then, my room window faced the pool and when i closed the shade, there is no privacy shade, just the sun shade that allowed the property lights to light my room up like the daytime.
