Great Stay

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Room and hotel was clean and breakfast was really good. Parking is $10 per day just as info to be aware and rodeo arena is next door, with a bbq restaurant. (Which was great)
- 5/5
You now have to pay to park. But that won’t keep me from staying here.

Great location for Rodeo.

"Our stay here was fantastic! We stayed in a suite that was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and exceeded all our expectations. On top of that, the staff was wonderfully welcoming and helpful, and the food was consistently delicious. We’ll definitely be back!"
- 5/5
We only stayed for one night, but it was lovely. The room was clean. Breakfast was lovely. We went to see the Rodeo which was conveniently next door. If we ever go back to Mesquite, we will definitely stay there.

Great service from the staff

Everything was great about the stay. I would say that the shower heads needs replacing and the pool needs cleaning.
- 5/5
We were especially grateful that this hotel allows pets. Beyond that, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall, this was the best experience of the 6 hotels we stayed in during this trip.

I didn’t like that fact I had to pay for parking to stay at the hotel. That’s one I did not know till I got there.

Paying for parking, the toilet was loud and long for the flushing, asked for ice bag and never received

I like that everything was clean and staff was helpful with questions I had. I didn’t like that fact I had to pay for parking to stay at the hotel. That’s one I did not know till I got there.
- 3/5
The place okay. Only one elevator worked and it took forever to get one because of the wait for the elevator to get to each floor. Plus you have to pay for parking $10 a night. Especially after you done spent $523 just to stay with them.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, staff extremely friendly/helpful. Breakfast was amazing. A place you will feel/be safe. I recommend Hampton Inn to anyone that is traveling to Dallas and looking for a safe place to stay book with them.

While the overall hotel was very clean I would definitely not stay at this location again. We are in the Mesquite area often and this was our first time at Hampton Inn & Suites. Overall horrible staff. I’ve never felt more UNwelcomed at a hotel. We arrived early and my husband wasn’t feeling well so we requested to check in. We absolutely wanted to pay, it was 2 hours early. We received eye rolls, a lecture from 2 employees and told to check back. We then asked if it was ok to at least sit in the lobby and the were very reluctant but said it was fine. While waiting 3 additional groups of people were told no to early check ins. Again, I get it’s a policy but at this point the others were asking after 3 pm. 2 different housekeeping staff started mopping floors and vacuuming. It made every tone feel comfortable and supposedly housekeepers were running behind on the room prep so odd they had time to mop an area occupied by 18 people waiting for rooms. Zero assistance was given at check in with the parking QR code. I was told if you can’t figure out the QR code there’s a website. QR code wasn’t the issue. The pool area was out of control noisy. Yes it was quiet after 10 pm but there is still an expectation of appropriate behavior. Screaming (by adults) so we could hear clearly in our room seemed a bit excessive. 1 star was given as it wasn’t an option to give 0. VERY disappointed with our stay.

The air conditioning was great. Floors were dirty, room was outdated, sewer smell throughout the night..

Don’t recommend this place at all not clean they don’t provide room service besides clean towels but u have to ask because I’m guessing it’s not common sense also u have to pay for parking which is ridiculous pool was gross save your money go somewhere else.

Breakfast above average Rooms clean

Just staying there felt great. I don't eat pork but breakfast was halal. Felt good being included. Most other service centers think pork is the only meat that exist, or at least everyone eats it. They gave me chicken sausage. The quality showed pride in upkeep, cleanliness, efficiency, style and professionalism. They know the plot. I hated to leave. Looking forward to another stay.

The breakfast and staff we're great as well as the clean room. Parking was great

Great customer service

The hotel seemed empty when I tried to check in. But they still didn’t give me a room until 230 pm. That was a bit odd

We stayed for two nights for a softball tournament with my spouse, mother, and our youngest daughter. We had a king bed suite, and it was super roomy for us all. Also very clean. We did have to go downstairs to get extra blankets and pillows for the pullout couch, but it took literally seconds to get them. Then the breakfast both mornings it was DELICIOUS! And they offered different varieties both mornings, which is always nice. Even with the massive crowd things were freshly stocked and plenty of seating in the breakfast area. Then the pool area, was huge! Not so much the pool itself, but the area has plenty of seating, plus they had cornhole where our adult softball parents had a great time while the girls swam. The area around the hotel was super clean, as well as just the whole hotel in general. We will definitely stay again when in the area!!!

Everything was good in clean .to bad it didn't have Bacon on the breakfast bar, allso the room we stayed in was really clean in the only thing we noticed is the pillows on the beds! needs to be changed for new ones they have a oder other then that everything else was ok
- 5/5
Best place to stay front desk lady was so polite and nice with us thanks for the hospitality.
- 3/5
Lots of maintenance problems. The elevators need repair. Hot water in the room took way too long to heat up. Breakfast was an average continental breakfast.
- 2/5
poor sound proof
- 4/5
The hotel was nice, but you have to pay for parking there which I think is ridiculous. If I would’ve known that I wouldn’t have booked there. Never been to a hotel where you have to pay for parking. Pool also was out of order the last day I was there.
- 1/5
Unfortunately the room I was given had bugs. The people at the front desk were polite and understanding and moved me to a new room. The property isn’t well maintained and the elevators are very rickety and looks like it is a year passed inspection. The bathroom ceiling had obvious mold. When checking me in the trainee meant to charge me the deposit but accidentally recharged me for my 5 days stay on the card I was putting the deposit on. Tying up an additional $600 for my entire stay. Mistakes happen but was told the voided it and it would be refunded. 5 days later I went back to the front desk and someone else looked at it and said they would revoid the charge. It refunded me before I left the counter which is frustrating as not having access to my expense funds for 5 days really hindered the entire trip.
- 3/5
The property was nice, but there was a lot of information missing when booking. I was unaware you had to pay for parking overnight, I wish this was listed. Then the pool was closed. This one of the pulling features towards booking the hotel, and I was unaware it was closed until I went and investigated myself. I would have appreciated more communication.

staff were nice, bathrooms and rooms were clean.

We enjoyed our stay. Close to where we needed to be.

This price is nice. The breakfast is ok. The room was a little worn.
- 5/5
Very clean room, nice staff, very good hot breakfast, friendly and quick check in and out, thanks
- 5/5
I like its quiteness and convenience to many areas. However, the room floor was not clean. if you want to walk bare foot inside the room, you need to wash them before bed. it looks clean for my eyes. overall its not too bad to stay.
- 5/5
The hotel is conveniently located to restaurants and other amenities including the rodeo.
- 2/5
The whole hotel felt like an oven. Our room never felt cool, no matter how many times we messed with the thermostats. There must have been plumbing issues that leaked into the hallway on the floor we stayed at. A huge fan was there to dry the carpet but the smell was horrible. Staff was rude about changing rooms. I won't be booking here the next time I stay in Dallas which is sad because the room was big enough for our family of five.
- 4/5
I was disappointed with the cleanliness of my room. When I arrived, the room had not been properly cleaned. There were visible dust, debris, and areas that appeared to have been overlooked by housekeeping. There was blood stain on the wall by the sink. A clean room is a basic expectation when staying at a hotel, and this fell short of that standard. While the staff was polite, the condition of the room negatively affected my overall experience. I hope the hotel improves its housekeeping practices for future guests.
- 5/5
The breakfast area is small.
- 5/5
I like the pool too
- 4/5
Yes the breakfast it was fresh
- 5/5
Breakfast meals was awesome menu & service. The lady who was in charge was sweet and fast. The front desk ladies was sweet and helpful. The only thing I was kinda disappointed was the room was cleaned maybe because I was asking for it? But the second day was not at all. Same thing with my other room, with them was the 1st day wasn't clean but they cleaned the second day. I'm not sure it's because the policy or missed it or what, because we're leaving the room the same day everyday for 3 days we're there...
- 5/5
Didn't eat breakfast
- 5/5
It was convenient, clean and the staff was helpful.
- 5/5
Awesome, awesome awesome
- 5/5
The only nitpicky complaint I have is how expensive the snack area was, but it’s definitely expected from a nicer place. Overall a very wonderful experience. Will book here again!
- 5/5
A reliably clean, safe and comfortable stay. A friendly and helpful staff to manage any issues that might arise.
- 5/5
Great place
- 2/5
Outdoor pool was out of service and elevator was having technical difficulties, kinda scary!
- 4/5
The property was clean, but it is an older hotel that is in need of a face lift to keep up with the compilation.

We had 2 rooms (total) booked (one was a double bed with a pull out couch in another room) with 6 adults and 1 child. We all agreed that the lobby, walking into the hotel, smelled like body odor and the elevators smelled like sewage. Guess it was a good thing we chose to take the stairs.... although, carrying baggage down the stairs was an adventure in itself. The beds were extremely hard and the pillows were horrible! All 4 pillows, stacked together, were about 2 inches thick with your head lying on them. We went to Walmart and bought 4 pillows, pillow cases and a duffle bag to carry them in for about $120 and that made a HUGE difference for us. It made it a little more tolerable. The towels and rags felt like they were heavily starched which resembled sandpaper rubbing your face and body. Breakfast was exactly what you expect a hotel "buffet" to be.....powdered eggs, frozen sausage and packaged gravy to go over the biscuits. For a so-called "free" meal, it served its purpose. We all got full. Was this the most horrible hotel we've ever stayed at? Absolutely not! Would we stay here again? Probably not.
- 1/5
Pool as not available during our stay and we were told when booking that is was going to be. It's the only reason we chose this location. Mattresses were stained and filthy. Only one elevator was working there, making it difficult to get to and from the room, the wait times for the elevator were just not acceptable. Neither TV in our room worked and it was hot inside the hotel all weekend. And the front desk was little to no help, employees just didn't seem to care, they offered a $20 discount on our stay. We were not impressed with their operation at all.
- 5/5
Great breakfast and staff was very helpful!
- 5/5
Breakfast with hot coffee and juice Staff friendly Nice location
- 5/5
We stayed for one night during our travels. When we arrived they didn't have any king bed rooms available so we were upgraded to a queen suite! Nice nice room!! The mattress was super comfortable. The air conditioner kept us comfortable and wasn't very loud compared to some hotels. We really enjoyed the breakfast. The eggs were very tasty and not dry. The coffee was spot on! I'd definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
Great stay when visiting! Breakfast was not so bad, but not great. I would book at this location again! Loved the electronic key feature. Super easy on the app

For a few day stay its not too bad. There was somethings that need work. For instance, the shower needed work on it for more pressure. The fridge didn't cool and the door to the room didn't shut completely at time you have to pull it shut.
- 5/5
One of the best places we have stayed at! Breakfast was devouring ! Eggs had a great taste to them coffee was delicious I give this place an A+
- 1/5
We were put in the 1st floor and the whole floor reeked of tha pool smell, n the elevator reeked of a smell too like burnt smell
- 5/5
The property was OK in some areas. They just needed a little touch up at Elder and Annette. I will stay again.
- 5/5
Great hotel, friendly staff would definitely stay again.

Our room had a stench to it we had to go out and by Lysol. The stench was so bad it was hurting my chest, nose and throat. Vents had build up dust and just felt like the overall air conditioning was extremely bad. Pool was also closed the entire duration of our stay.

Great start for any event at the rodeo event center

Room smelled. Carpet obviously never been cleaned. View was of the roof. Shower was broken and leaking. Hallways smelled like marijuana.
