Decent rooms with comfortable beds

The stay was wonderful the Staff was great from the Evening check-in staff and the Morning Staff. The housekeeping was very hopeful, and maintenance team. Breakfast was great with a lot to choose from. Rooms were nice and cold thru out the day.

The room stunk! There was mold on the curtains & bathroom ceiling, Crust on the bathroom toilet tank and the lid. The shower was looked awful! And the room stunked like urine.

It’s a good hotel, clean, very good location and easy to access. Sofa bed has a thin mattress worked for one of teens. Probably not a good one for adult if planning to use for adult. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Room was not very clean or the restroom they need to do a deep cleaning for sure. We will never stay in this place again first and last time.

The staff was great. The only thing I'd The air conditioner in our room was not cold. I keep my room and house cold and I set it low but it did not get cold. I was not dying , but I did not have to use the covers. And the toilet was quick to clog. But the room was so big, the tv was nice. I would come back to stay, just alone of how nice big the room was.

The room smelled like mildew. Stains on the sheets of the bed. Poor lighting. Bath tub was black from not being cleaned. We were in the room a total of one hour and left. The front office staff was nice. Lady said “ I would offer to get you a different room, but honestly it would not matter… all the rooms here are bad.” Even said that “ she would never stay there.” She also said that the hotel manager would not give us a refund because that’s just how he was. We booked there with another family because our kids were playing baseball in the area. They also had issues. Found live roaches this morning when they were leaving. Will never stay there again and I question whether I will book through this website again because I was told I couldn’t get a refund because I didn’t book through the hotel directly. Terrible experience.

Pleasant stay.

Property is very clean and quiet. Good breakfast for a hotel.

The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and well kept. The breakfast had a good variety and is a standard continental breakfast. Parking was very easy. They had a gym that was well-maintained. I have stayed here more than once and will stay again.

Clean, comfortable

The elevator did not work. There was a very strong smell from guests smoking weed close to the entrance by the stairwell that we used to get to our room. Washer and dryer worked.

Single elevator that was broken. Wouldn’t accommodate someone with a recent knee surgery and was forced to take the stairs multiple times. Will not stay there again.

The staffs were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was good too, though they’re serving same breakfast everyday, it was still good. Not much to complain for an affordable price, it was worth out stay

Room smelled. Stain on center of comforter like ashtray spilled. Stained furniture would not sit and or set anything on. Cigarette burn holes in sheets. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was what was expected.

I definitely will stay again.

The dirtiest shower/bathroom I’ve ever had at a hotel. Mold on the ceiling above the shower. Dirt/crud all along where the tub met the floor, top of the shower, and shower head. Pull out couch mattress was super thin and was told there were no blankets when I asked for one for that.

Our room hag little piss ants everywhere. The room had a funny smell to it also.

Bathroom was discussing, tub was brown, toilet was loose. First night we had no hot water.

I DO NOT recommend anybody staying at this hotel! My family and I checked in to this hotel and before we could even unpack to change I found dead roaches in the phone by the bed and around the room. When I went told the front desk lady she said there was nothing she could do and I asked for a refund and again said there was nothing she could do till her manger comes in. Well manger comes in the next day and denies my request for a refund. Yes I have pictures and showed them.

Immediately felt comfortable with the staff. It was my first time visiting Texas & Tabitha was the sweetest & so helpful with letting me know the traffic hours & places nearby. The other front desk helpers were so friendly as well, I wish I remembered their names. Will definitely come back when I visit again! Also, never had any problems with this hotel the whole 5 days staying here. :)

On the bright side, the front desk, staff are very sweet, very helpful, definitely the best part of the stay. They are the one thing that the hotel got right. The bedding and the towels are clean. But not much else. Breakfast was scary with a long hair in the waffles and Gray sausage..

The room was dirty and the carpet was stained (badly near the refrigerator). The ice machine was out of ice.

Location. Listing stated it had a hot tub which we were looking forward to using after a long drive. It was closed. Stains on comforter. Leaky dripping faucet and you can easily hear other guests. Not peaceful.

Went down for breakfast at 9:15am, waited until 9:25am and went to front desk to advised all breakfast items were empty and we had not seen an employee in the area.

Spacious room

Great location and price. Staff was awesome, check in a breeze.

My husband was staying close to work during winter storm. Breakfast would be great for someone working 5:30 am to 6 pm. Other than that- no complaints

Clean and comfortable- but my stay was to be near work during winter storm and I had to leave around 5 am each morning - it would be nice to offer some breakfast options to go earlier.

Convenient for where I needed to be for an appointment. I left an item on the night stand. Called and it was not turned in to lost and found. I guess the housekeeper needed it worse than I did.

Room was dirty. Stains on floor and couch. We checked in, put our bags in the room and left for dinner. Upon coming back to the hotel and starting to settle in for the evening in became very apparent the room was filthy. At this time, we packed our bags and checked out. Found another Hotel to stay at. I would not recommend the Comfort Suites McKinney to anyone.....

The room was very clean and spacious. The checkin staff was great and the breakfast staff was wonderful. Best hotel we have stayed at for some time..

The property itself was in a great location, easy access to that way unfortunately the only bad part about it was the pillows are uncomfortable, and the bed was hard and the AC unit would not stay on other than that it was a great place but I can’t give him a good rating when the bed is not comfortable and the pillows are not comfortable. We got in at 1 AM and we left at 6:30 AM due to being an uncomfortable. The bed and pillows

Elevator a little scary, bathtub was really moldy and dirty, would only give 4 towels for 5 guniceests, breakfast was ok. Staff was sometimes nice. Wouldn't provide extra pillows or blankets. For a rather inexpensive hotel, they acted like it was a 5 star.

We have stayed at the Comfort Inn for years while visiting family. Was a little leery after reading some reviews this time but found it just the same. Basic, comfortable and incredibly convenient. Bed was good and bedding and bath were clean. The room is large with some simple furniture and accessories. The location is why we stay. Walk or very short drive to many restaurants. Used to be a walkable grocery store but closed -a Walgreen's close by. Right off the freeway with quiet back street area to drive or walk to things. Staff is nice.

The room was a bit worn and the bathroom needed an update or deep cleaning. The beds although both were large king sized, they were too hard for our backs. Maybe it was because of the special needs accommodations, but the room felt cold and not very homey.

The cleaning in the rooms was terrible. My wife scribed the dirty out the tube. Staff witnessed all the soap scum of the tube were ridiculous, the curtain has blood and stains on them the rooms was not clean at all.

Well, the room was nice enough, except that the bathtub was stained bad enough to possibly be off-putting to some, also, you might want to have your own pillow on hand... however, the staff was very pleasant, helpful and courteous, especially Miss Cheryl in the breakfast nook. THAT lady is like a ray of sunshine...!!!

The room was clean, the breakfast was good, all in all it was a good stay. The shower curtain had a tear nearest the shower head. That was the only thing keeping this from being a perfect stay. The folks working the desk were also great!

The room wa not clean. The microwave was dirty. The refrigerator had a smashed Michaelobe beer box to level it. The gap where the lock on door was wide and had to stuff pillows around itto

Clean room but an older hotel. Very friendly staff at desk. Its an older hotel but was clean.

Did not enjoy my stay here

We didn't eat breakfast. We could hardly sleep in the room because it smelled old and musty, and like stale cigarette smoke even though it was non-smoking. Our daughter has asthma and she had a horrible night. Cable box was missing from the room so we couldn't watch TV. The lady at front desk during the evening was HORRIBLY rude. We only stayed at this hotel because of a family reunion close by and others were there.

Horrible experience, the room was nasty. There was mold on the wall in the bathroom, stains on walls/curtains/ and the furniture. The couch had crumbs and residue on it. Went to the front desk to get my money back but they gave me another room for the night. The 2nd room was not much better but at least it was no mold. Canceled the 2nd night and will neve come back.

Staff was nice. They accommodated my request. Parking was easy. Bed was good. Liked the lighting by the bed.

Staff was average but the hotel itself was gross as my pictures will show. Also smelled horrible and was really hot. They even came in while we were away during the day, even though they have signs saying they won’t unless you ask, and turned our a/c back up to 78 degrees. I had to get key cards reprogrammed twice because they both stopped working. The TV did not work and the internet was free but slow enough it was hard to watch a show without buffering. Breakfast was almost non existent.

There was no parking spots in the hotel area. Had to park in the bank up front. Luckily I was going to be gone before dawn so no problem there.

Was very disappointed in our stay at Comfort Inn & Suites. Arrived late after driving 10 hours. Room was dirty, hair in sink (not ours) and bottom of tub was dirty. Put a towel in tub to stand on to use the shower. Was too tired to go to another hotel. Very disappointed in the quality of this hotel.

Quality hotel for the price and location.

The service desk guy wasn’t informative about the stay.i had to ask questions & receipt. My 1st night TV wasn’t workin and next day had to address again and offered another room which tv wasn’t workin in there also. The room was dirty tub carpet walls etc. breakfast office wasn’t good. I want compensation for the stay but they keep sayin the manager wasn’t available. Would never recommend or stay here again.

Amazing staff member that gave great customer service!!

The property was clean and the staff was nice. We had 2 rooms. Both had broken bathroom doors that wouldn’t close properly. The rooms never got cool enough.

The pool was filthy dirty that we refused to swim in it. Many homeless people walking all around. Didn't feel safe.The breakfast was not good. The servers there did not keep the food stocked for all the people in there. They had me prepay for my stay the rate that was quoted online. When I checked out there was an extra charge $150.00 on my credit card that I didn't approve of. When asked about it I was told I had to speak to the manager when he came in later. I had to leave for the airport and my issue was not resolved.

Strong cleaning agent in the room which made my wife nauseous. The tub shower wouldn’t drain the second night and remained clogged in the morning. Infrastructure was old, including an elevator button that was cracked.

Property was in very good condition and looked well maintained.

Property & room was quite dirty with stained furniture & carpet. Didn't even try the bed. We left.

There were construction issues in the room, the door was not level and you can see inside from outside the door, the drywall was messed up as if someone swung the door open too hard, the bathroom tub was dirty and the drain knob was broken. The blanket had a tear in it.

Front desk was very nice but the room was very dirty. Not worth the price.

It's time for an update to this property

Booked to rooms and both beds had blood stains on mattresses and covers. We arrived and they gave us a room that was dirty and not cleaned. Had problems with our key cards the first day we arrived. The rest of the days cant complain
