BEST WESTERN PLUS McKinney Inn & Suites

Very clean, and smell good environment. Only problem is with checking in my room it was paid already. I had to put a $100 hold. I gave cash so I can get it right back after check-out. The front desk clerk told me he couldn’t give me a receipt or anything showing I gave him $100 for hold. When I checked out, there was a paper where he put it down. I had to sign off before it was returned. We had words due to I’m giving you money and nothing to show for it. He could simply say, yes ma’am, we have a form we put your information down and when we return it you will have to sign and we will return it. SMH simple

Room was dirty and not taken care of. The sheets and comforters had multiple stains on them. We noticed the room had mouse droppings a day into our trip. Front desk manager was not helpful. Refused to give a refund for our last night. Will not be using this hotel for trips in the future.

It was a pretty nice hotel for the price, very, very much Worth the value. It’s right off the highway, but it’s not loud, there’s a Whataburger right in the parking lot and stayed pretty busy but even much still I didn’t hear it in my room. They did have a pool, but I didn’t get a chance to go to it nor did I get a chance to go to the weight room because I got there late and left early. The breakfast was a nice assortment, I can’t comment on it much though because I didn’t eat anything there. I do know the Wi-Fi was pretty strong because I could stream video games, and I also know that it was a really nice shower the pressure was great. Would definitely return.

My wife and I stayed here for 8 days and nights, and we were completely satisfied wit the hotel. The rooms were clean, everything worked, and the breakfast buffet was really good. We had no complaints, and if we visit McKinney again, we would definitely be willing to stay at this hotel.

Room was large, bed was very comfy. No trouble with noisy neighbors or outside noise. Breakfast was different each day and offered lots of basic choices to get you on your day.

It was ok! We didn’t have any hot water! I went to the front desk and let them know and she told me that it was because of the time of day 7:00pm a lot of people were using the hot water. I told that they need to upgrade their water heaters to accommodate their customers! The A/C unit had issues with not being able to adjust the fan speed. We stayed in room 102.

Stayed for two days on business. Room was clean, parking lot was orderly and they had a good breakfast. The room was also priced well. I would stay again.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good, offering options with protein as well as cereal, fruit and assorted breads and muffins.

The lobby had an air freshener system that was very strong but they turned it down while we were there. There was also a plug in freshener in the room but I unplugged it. It was very kind of them to adjust it for me as I’m horribly allergic to them. One room had an air conditioner that soaked the carpet beneath it but it wasn’t where we walked. I’m sure they worked on it after we left. Rooms were clean and staff was very helpful both in the kitchen and in housekeeping. It was a pleasant experience.

The hotel is fine for an overnite stay. There are no coffee pots in the room tho, u have to go to the lobby to get coffee. That is a huge problem for me so I did not give it 5 stars

Very clean and looked freshly painted or at least well maintained.. breakfast was solid and beds were comfy. BW is not usually in my top places to stay but for playing a tournament in Melissa this was a solid spot not too far away and lots of amenities near by.

I have cancer and I got sick so I was taken to the hospital, the staff was more than excellent.

All was nice the only thing was that online it said business facilities but when we arrived that was taken up by a sundry shop. However, the front desk clerk was nice enough to print my documents for our meeting.

I enjoy staying at this best Western. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is always good and there is a good assortment of food foods.

We really appreciated the daily attention to our room- bed made, new towels. Not many places do that anymore. The continental breakfast had many options and the quality was good. I will definitely stay there again when visiting my family.

I travel a lot and stay at Best Westerns when possible. This property, in my opinion, is one of the two or three best Best Westerns in the country.

Everything was great! Only thing I would add is I wish the breakfast would stay open till 10:00 for us that sleep in.

This was a very nice hotel to stay in. I would have given it five stars but the laundry was broke and I had to go to a coin-op laundry in a bad part of town. The rooms were clean. The staff was nice. The area nearby is kind of a ghetto. But this place will provide a safe haven from that as long as you don't have to do laundry.

The staff provided excellent service and showed genuine appreciation toward guests. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast each morning as well as hot water and coffee available at all hours. Housekeeping cleaned the room each day and replaced towels and bed sheets regularly, which helped maintain a very comfortable stay. The only minor issue involved thin walls. Television noise from a neighboring room could be heard at times. Overall, the stay was very pleasant. A future visit to McKinney will certainly include another stay at this hotel. Thank you for a very enjoyable experience.

I travel a lot and this is the best hotel i've been in, in a while! Staff is very friendly! The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.... body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, dryer, microwave, mini fridge. The body products had a fresh citrus scent. The room was very spacious. Very comfortable bed with feather pillows. The free breakfast included eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, coffee, hot Cocoa, juices and more. During our stay we were asked by 2 separate employees how we were doing, and if we needed anything. The lobby was also very clean and decorated so nicely.

The room is OK. The carpet could be clean better. The bathtub was cracking and dirty around the Rim, and the air conditioning, no strength to it, barely works the toilet, barely flushes. Other than that, it was OK would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay here. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast had many choices. The coffee machine had a variety of flavors, including regular. Our room was a nice size. Very clean and comfortable. We were there 7 nights and enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for a week, would probably stay again for convenience. Our room was in need of updating, particularly the bathroom. Beds were never made. We normally just have the “make up room” sign every other day anyway, but they only ever swapped the towels and took the garbage. Staff is very nice.
