Overall a beautiful place to stay! We enjoyed all of the amenities and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our only issue was the plumbing we had to move to another room and the plumbing didn’t work that great in there either. Staff was keeping us up to date seemed to be an issue throughout the resort.

Our arrival and check in was very easy - The front desk staff were pleasant and polite. We had a nice room with patio and view of the large marina. We utilized the dining and the large swimming pool and the swim up bar. Had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. Will certainly return when back in the area.

Everything was great.

Quiet, close to the location I needed to be. The beds were very comfortable, and the pool was great. The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially the Bistro waiter, he was very attentive to our specific dietary needs. The a/c didn't work properly in the first room, so we were switched to another room. It worked adequately in that room, but wouldn't hold set point. I had to manually adjust set point to get it to come on. The coffee wouldn't work the day we left, and I also killed a couple of bugs in the room. One looked like a bed bug. I hope that will be addressed because I really liked this hotel.

South Shore Harbour was a nice stay. The hotel room is partially updated but clean and the bed was comfy. The onsite bar is excellent. Service was great as well as the wine selection.

I have been staying here for years and they never disappoint! The cabanas used to have some privacy curtains between them.

Swim up bar was a plus.

Great location. The fitness center was filled with a lot of great equipment. Staff were ok. Despite the elevators and staircases smelling awful, the facility was well maintained.

Nice, safe location and clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Very nice pool. I would have given this hotel 5 stars except that the bed was not 5 star quality.

When we stepped off the elevator there was a strong musty smell. When opening our room door it was even worse. Thank goodness we had a balcony so we could open the door and air it out often. Definitely an older hotel. The scenery was nice. Could hear people talking in the hall and they were even trying to be quiet.

Clean and the views are awesome The prices for the gazebos are so expensive and there’s not a bartender at the pool area at all times!!! The elevator’s sometimes go out!! Please, let’s work a little harder on them!!!

The location, and the size of the rooms The menu in the bistro and the restaurant. I am a vegetarian and there was no option available on the Bistro menu, and very limited in the restaurant menu. This needs attention in my opinion.

Great pool, great view, great price, balcony is accessible, absolutely will stay again. The only issue we had was the sliding barn door for our bathroom was very stiff a came off by the end of our stay. Being that the room was an accessible room would have been terrible if a person with special needs actually needed it. Otherwise, fantastic experience!

The has very little sunbeds and chairs so get there early to grab some. We were disappointed that the room doesn't come with complementary water in the room. Most hotels we visit it seems to be a standard. Also the aircon on the room is very loud and you cant switch it off. But the rooms are very spaceist.

For some reason the AC in our room wasn't working. The first response was that the new what the problem was, but maintenance would have to come by the next day to flip a switch in the attic. It's middle of summer, going into the hottest month, why wouldn't this already have been done? They did upgrade us to the executive suite, not sure what made it executive other than it had a walk-in shower verses a tub shower, and it had body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion that was wall mounted. Room was the same. Mattress needs to be replaced. Shower knob needs to bevreplaced so water shuts off completely. It was OK, but devour/carpeting was very dated. Customer service was pretty good.

Only one microwave in the Sundry room by the front desk. Maybe put one on each floor by the ice machine? Due to risk of fire is understandable. The pool was nice the lighting and the swim up bar was nice 👌

Pool is great. Staff were helpful. Very nice location next to the harbour. The hotel is just a little tired and in need of some love.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean except bathroom tub had previous occupants hair in it. Had a door in between our room that connected to another room . Door was locked but the other guest kids kept knocking on it and messing with door latch. I didnt care too much because I have kids staying with me as well but would have been nice to know about the center door. Kinda creeped me out. Pool was nice with a full bar and view from our room was nice as well.

The pool was relaxing but it was a bit dirty The staff at the bar by the pool were rude. A guy was using his bare hands getting the limes no gloves nothing. He got rude with me and my friend for no reason

The rooms were very dated. Bathroom was in disrepair.

I did book an appointment at the spa and the massage was lovely but I didn't realize that the spa isn't attached to the hotel and is about a 7 minute walk away. When I asked the front desk to point me in the direction of the spa, they told me to 'Google Maps' the location to direct my walk. Overall, our stay was fine but we will probably choose a different hotel if we return to the area.

Thr staff was very pleasant and helpful. The pool/swim up bar was absolutely amazing! Rooms were spacious with beautiful views. Amazing little getaway close to home!

Overall it was good. Rooms could use a refresh; carpets could be cleaner. But the staff were super friendly and made this stay one to remember.

Hotel is in a nice quiet area, with lovely views, and a really nice outdoor swimming pool. Rooms are clean, but are a little outdated. Staff are very friendly.

Location is close to what we were doing. Love the gym access. This was the second time we’ve stayed here. Staff both times didn’t give good instruction on use of pool and gym so we had to walk back and forth for passes, towels, etc. An easy fix with better communication. Also the pool is a party/hook-up scene. A lot of adults with kids drinking in the pool. A bit strange and unsafe in my opinion. Loud and rowdy on a weekend afternoon. Not our scene.

Everything was extremely clean the staff was very friendly it was quiet and peaceful and the balcony view was stunning The only problem we had was the balcony was plagued with spider and I did get bite while sitting out there. I notified management and they appreciated me letting them no and said they would do something about the spiders.

Grounds were nice, pool looked amazing. WiFi did not work and it was very loud. Not a bad place but maybe just a bad night

I’ve stayed here several times for proximity to family member and will probably continue to stay here. Access to the nearby health club is easy walk & excellent amenity. Pool is good when weather permits. Parking is also convenient. It is understaffed. Every request or fix (Internet, room safe not working) requires face to face visit with front desk as room phone was not programmed to reach front desk & cell phone call went unanswered. Elevator maintenance sign caused me to walk long hallway until I realized sign had not been removed. It’s the little things that make me hesitant to recommend.

The service in the restaurant for breakfast was poor at the least. There was a fire Sunday morning. We had to evacuate the hotel down five flights of stairs. When we returned we had to climb five flights of stairs. We gathered our belongings and left and took our suitcase, down five flights of stairs when the fire alarm went off, you could not hear it in the hallways. You could only hear it in the stairwell so we really did not know what was going on as to why we needed to evacuate. everybody was very confused. The hotel needs a serious update. The pool was nice, but it was not clear. It was kind of cloudy.

We stayed there to attend a World Cup game and it was perfectly located out of the city and close to the Kemah Boardwalk. Close to everything. We loved it.

We had a wonderful time with the family at the recommended hotel.

Stay was very quiet. Buffet was cold- nothing hot sauce couldn’t take care of. -it needed gravy this is Texas after all. Pillows could be softer and beds a little lumpy but I’m just nit picking here. Pool was nice, staff was very friendly. Would recommend and I would definitely stay here again.

Big Pool

Hotel stay was a last minute idea & well worth it. Staff were very helpful & rooms were clean and well equipped. Unfortunately the rainy weather kept us from using the pool or enjoying the marina, but we will come back!

Maintenance and housekeeping could definitely Collab together to improve the monitor imperfections yet and still overall I would definitely give this experience 9/10.

My first room was not clean, beds were laid in, and bathroom had wet floors with a stack of wet towels. I went down to the front and asked for management which I didn't feel they sent a manager out, but he acted like he was a manager. They gave me a room with the same beds I requested but was a lesser room 6 stories higher. They said that is all they could when I asked if they could accommodate us on the same floor, so I didn't have to haul me, and my families stuff up to the 8th floor. They said no and sorry that is all they can do. The elevator situation is AWFUL. No room and had maybe two skinny elevators that always seemed to reek of marijuana. Next day they didn't come into the room to replace towels or make the beds. When I took my wet towels down, they said they didn't replace them because I didn't let them know by hanging a sign letting them know. I noticed the sign stating do not disturb but I didn't turn it around to see please clean the room. This is all paraphrased by me but essentially what it says. I told them they may want to let people know. This person was kind enough to try to give me free breakfast, but I was so tired of this place I turned it down. It wasn't about trying to get free stuff. It was about the poor service by this time. The free breakfast by this young lady should have used by the so-called manager who basically brushed me off the first night. I sent a message through hotels.com to the management but they never responded.

This was a really nice place to stay. And it was very reasonably priced. We will definitely go back to the Kemah area.

Upon arrival, the staff was welcoming and informative. The rooms were clean and fully stocked with the essentials. Disappointed with no microwave but was okay to find one available for use in the lobby area. The pool was maintained for the most part; some days better than others based on the attending bartender. I can say that Adrian (pool bar) was outstanding! He made sure all customers were taken care of at all times, walked the grounds for any trash or towels, and kept the chairs and overall aesthetic in order. My husband and I were here for a anniversary getaway from Katy and it was well worth it!!!

Location was great! Nice hotel. Gym wasn’t open and one of the elevators wasn’t working on a busy July 4th weekend.

Shower ceiling was damaged from moisture and there was a weird hole in the wall by the work desk that had been painted over but not filled. Downstairs, water also seemed to be a problem as there were buckets catching leaks from the bubbled ceiling in the lobby hallway. Lobby, meeting rooms, and restaurant areas all seemed eerily quiet and dark. Overall decor is welcoming but feeling isn’t. Outside, parking was free and easy. View is nice and the surrounding area is clean and convenient. Pool was beautiful and bar staff super friendly. However it seemed like they were so concerned about non-hotel guests sneaking in to the pool that they made it hard for real guests. For example- No pool towels. I discovered accidentally through another guest that towels were only available for check-out at the Front desk. I mentioned to desk staff that signage directing guest to front desk for towels would be helpful, especially in a place where you might see it before being dripping wet and having to walk across property for a towel. The front desk clerk said “So now you know” with great sarcasm. Totally different from friendliness of the staff who checked us in and the wonderful outdoor bartender.

Went on a small getaway before my son leaves for the military, every night a new spot and this place was by far our favorite! Room was so clean, entire hotel smelled amazing, the views were amazing and the pool was the BEST part for all 4 of my teens. Perfect little family spot if you want quiet and feel safe.

Had the balcony facing the marina and it was very nice. Clean room, easy check in, friendly staff.

After all of these issues - the manager said he would be giving me a 25% discount for all of these issues. I mentioned I paid through Expedia and he said he would advise Expedia on this. Over all- I would not stay at this hotel again. Terrible overall!

Everything was nice, the only complaint was that my food was a little cold this morning when room service brought it up but I’m assuming it’s because it was French toast and it didn’t come w/fruit like the menu said. Other than that we enjoyed the resort.

My kids and I loved the whole vibe. Very nice, quiet and clean. The pool is large enough for everyone to enjoy. I didn’t get to experience the pool bar but I loved how it was setup. Loved the entire theme throughout the hotel and loved our balcony.

The room and bed smelled moldy. Bathroom is tiny. Elevator too small, waiting 10 min per ride up or down from 11th floor. Nice skunk wed smell as well. This is a motel 6 dressed up as a Resort. Bar opens at 2pm. Definitely not a resort at all and nothing around this place for entertainment. Very disappointed.
