Nice cheap hotel, staff are very helpful, rooms are clean, AC works well. However, my ac stopped working my first day but when I notified front desk they moved me to a new room to immediately which had a working ac. The lights in the hallway on floor 3 flicker a lot. Overall a great deal.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this hotel was one of the worst experiences we've had, and we will never stay here again. The room had a disgusting smell when we arrived, and it was obvious that cleanliness was not a priority. We found hair in the room (three different hair colors, so it clearly hadn't been cleaned thoroughly), the bathroom flooded, and the mini fridge was leaking, leaving water all over the floor. We went to the front desk to report the issues, and the employee, Sam, told us the bathroom was probably flooding because "someone upstairs showered too much." That explanation was surprising and did not address the problem at all. Regardless of the cause, guests should not have to deal with a flooding bathroom. Several basic amenities were also missing. The body wash dispenser was empty, there were not enough towels, and there was no hair dryer in the room. The hotel also advertised an ice machine—there was even a sign and a dedicated room for it—but there was actually no ice machine available. Breakfast was disappointing as well: the waffle machine was there, but there was no waffle batter, and they only offered margarine instead of butter. The customer service made the experience even worse. Because of the condition of the room, we considered cutting our trip short and asked Sam what our options were. His response was simply, "I don't know," delivered in a rude and dismissive tone. Between the poor cleanliness, maintenance problems, missing amenities, and unhelpful customer service, this was an extremely disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely never return.

The hotel itself is nicely renovation with visually appealing selections and seems well maintained. Our room however smelt musty and the linens felt damp. It improved slightly after the air conditioner was turned down but the smell woke me up a few times throughout the night. If we were staying more than 1 night we likely would have asked for a different room. The gym was uncomfortably hot. Breakfast was adequate but the hot items weren’t the best. Eggs had a strange texture (even comparing to standard hospital or powdered eggs). For the value, it was a nice average stay and a nice easy commute to the port of Galveston.

Everything was great front check in to check out.

The overall appearance of the exterior was well kept up. Upon check in there was a little wait time but that could have been due to the 4th of July. The room was clean and full of towels. The staff was nice. The only thing I didn't care for was the area was kind of industrial but everything else was good. I would recommend staying here.

Location, was perfect. My husband had court that’s the reason we looked for something close to the municipal courthouse. Swimming pool water was super cold?

The hotel itself was spotless, clearly well‑managed, and in a perfect location for everything we needed. The AC worked perfectly and the staff was very nice. The only downside was breakfast. On both mornings we went down to eat, the food was already gone and everything had been put away, leaving us with no options at all. And it was before breakfast time was over.

The rook constantly smelt like an indian ran gas station. I use a lot of non toxic cleaners at home so it was rough to smell that constantly. I booked it because Sonesta was in the title but it was nothing like a Sonesta. More like a Wyndham. Elevator needed serious upgrading and Maintenance. Breakfast was basic and the coffee machine didn’t work. Computer desk chair was falling apart in room, conditioner wouldn’t pump out product on the wall and fitted sheet had a stain so they either never washed it after previous guest or refuse to throw it out. You can’t see out the windows due to the staining on them, was on the 3rd floor, must of had a bad view. Definitely not worth the price.

The room was clean, smelled nice. I would suggest upgrading the lamps in the room that have USB ports, as this is the technology now. Breakfast was good, coffee was fresh. Check out was easy. I am still waiting on a refund for the night I didnt stay, otherwise I would recommend this establishment.

Stayed there for one night. Nothing fancy but fairly new place so everything was super clean and you get al the basic amenities. The rooms are at least 30% bigger than the usual. If you’re looking for a good place to sleep at night and not socialize in the hotel , it’s an excellent place. Breakfast is standard with warm offerings. Overall very satisfying stay.

Wonderful stay

Parking was avaliable around the property. The location was perfect for an event that was attending at the Pasadena Fairgrounds, located 10mins away. Staff was very helpful and the cleanliness was outstanding. The pool and fitness center we're great and having breakfast at the location was a plus, didn't need to go looking out for somewhere to eat. Overall this place was more than what was expecting and I'd be more than happier to stay here again.

Well I couldn’t figure out how to plug the plug in the bath. It wouldn’t stick so I could fill the tub up with water. I called the front desk and poor girl said was only her second day but I used a cup to keep the water in. Motel was clean and all.

Second time staying here that the missed cleaning the room or bringing clean towels. Other than that it was great!

Nice clean room. No need to bother staff. Parking was fine. The manager or staff clerk allowed me and the family to check in at 12:30 vs 3:00. I was very greatful for that. Breakfast was nice but different then other hotels. Fried eggs vs scrambled eggs, potatoes vs hash browns. No waffles. Staff was very attentive to spills and replenishing food. I will stay again.

It’s clean, well lit, and I (50 y/o woman) felt safe. This is an industrial town, so we are not talking luxury, but it’s more than adequate, with a microwave, refrigerator, small gym and indoor pool. Toiletries are pretty basic as the hotel is geared toward workers in the oilfield industry. Complimentary breakfast is a nice perk. The staff was helpful and they are always cleaning the property. We will likely stay here again when in the area.

When selecting a hotel for my 4 night stay, location was probably most important to me. Beyond that, I was very pleased with my room, the comfort of the bed, the free breakfast, and the cleanliness of my room. The AC worked nicely. Parking was plentiful. All in all, no complaints and I would happily stay there again.

"We had a wonderful stay! From the moment we walked in, the room smelled amazing and the small details, like the folded toilet paper, made it feel very upscale. The receptionist was incredibly welcoming, offering us water and engaging in genuine conversation. They were even thoughtful enough to give my daughter a treat and extra beverages when we checked out! I was also very impressed by the breakfast service; they consistently checked the quality and brought out fresh eggs and pastries throughout the morning. Such a thoughtful, high-quality experience."

Parking was easy. Checkin was quick. Had a couple of nightowl neighbors and breakfazst could be better but, other than that, no complainrs. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I gave 2 stars because our room had a mildew smell and when looking for the cause we found a spot in the bathroom over the tub where the room above us leaked water and it came through. It wasn’t treated so it caused mold spores and a potent mildew smell. Also, the front desk staff were very rude and far from friendly.

I loved everything about it except the fact that the AC in the room was giving me issues, I couldn’t set the temperature.

It was very clean with a nice room and the place smelt very clean. Friendly staff. Great little breakfast bar. Although i didn’t swim it had a nice indoor pool and gym. The area felt safe and a very quiet atmosphere. All in all it’s a great place to stay

Updates needed. Our room smelled of mildew we assume from a flood or the pool. Poor paint job remodel. Our first night the attended didn’t answer the phone. The second attendant for checkout was pleasant and attentive.
