ASPEN GRAND HOTEL

I booked a room for 3 nights to plan for my dad’s funeral and night 1 I was bitten by bed bugs and have pics and videos. I told the staff and they act like they didn’t have any other available rooms and would have housekeeping change out bedding and deep clean. I came back to my room that evening and housekeeping did not change bedding, just made up the bed!!! I told the front desk and they moved me to a new room where the air didn’t work! I came in town under stress and became more stressed due to poor conditions. I was not given any assistance as far as refunding or discount for the nights I paid for so I had to stick it out for one more day and came home a day early. Very disappointed!!

I didnt like being on the 3rd floor and the elevators not working at all, making us drag suitcases up and down flights of stairs to drop off. There was ice only on the 4th floor nowhere else. Couldnt get linen for almost a whole day. Linens were stained and some dirty. Our Room was not clean as we found all sorts of items from the previous stayers.

After the first day, we assumed housekeeping would come but was told they go every two days, we had to bring our towels down to get washed & was told we would be getting more in the night time. When we got back we were told there were no towels and they weren’t sure when they’d be ready. (Only 10 cars outside the hotel -not busy) The first night I went to retrieve ice and realized the 4th floor was completely out, so I walked down to the third where I saw a sign saying ice machine only works on 4th floor, I peeped the washer and dryer right next to the ice machine and saw that they were unplugged so I plugged them in to see if they worked so we could use them to wash our towels but no luck. Went down to the second floor when I saw the washer and dryer out of order signs and no ice maker. Down to the first floor with an ice machine that says it only works on the 4th floor. I was exhausted and hot here, luckily we stayed away for our two day trip.

Movie channels Elevator was broke. Hallways were hot. Door latch broke. No extra tissue in restroom. Only 19 people were checked in and she still put me on the third floor. Sheets had a stain on them. Very dissatisfied.

Elevator didn't work, remote for me the tv didn't work, breakfast had bugs flying around.

The elevator was not working. The carpets need to be cleaned/replaced. The a/c didn’t work in the fitness center. The free breakfast was cereal and fresh fruit. The staff was friendly and did their best, but I’m pretty sure we were the only guests in the hotel. The rooms are big and the king bed was nice and roomy.

Elevator not working. No change machine for the laundry and staff would not sell quarters to us. On website it said breakfast included but their version of breakfast is a couple bananas and some apples.

When first walking in you could smell how musty it was probably old building. Towels were stained and looked very dirty.

"Breakfast" was just a bowl of apples. Elevator was broken and we had a 3rd floor room. I had to bring ALLLLLL the bedding to the front desk because it was filthy(pictured). Staff acted like i was inconvenience them. Had to come all the way back down and up AGAIN because tbey didn't give me pillowcases. Comforter under soiled duvet was torn to shreds. Room was musty, shower head was janky.

We had to leave the hotel! Room was dirty and smelled nasty! Sheets were dirty and when I asked to bring clean sheets and pillow cases, the pillows were yellow with stains! We grabbed our bags and left after 10 minutes

They wanted me to wait. The room had a strong odd smell. Found dryer sheets poked into the ac unit. Water was seeping from the top of the window while it rained. Wet carpet in front of the ac unit out four feet into the room. Mold was under the ac unit as well the inside casing of the window. Carpet base boards were pulling away from the wall No water cups, no coffee cups, no tea or coffee pod. But there was a Keurig machine! The free breakfast consisted of bananas and apples, that’s it!!! When I questioned the guy behind the desk he said they don’t serve breakfast even though the girl said they did when I checked in. The TV did not had a remote controller in the room. They brought me one but the TV did not work. No air conditioning in the hallway. Towels had stains and one large towel had what looked like a tar ball. Do I need to continue?

Hallway carpet, Floor carpet was so dirty, probably they don't shampoo it once in 6 months. No elevator was working. Only one small and one midium towel was (total two towel) provided. Found some hair in the washroom floor. Window was never cleaned, lots of mud was observed.

AC struggled to keep the room cool. Carpet had not been vacuumed in a while. The black out blinds did not cover the entire window so the room was bright at night. No Kleenex, no coffee for the keurig and only 1 light worked in the bathroom.Free breakfast consisted of oranges, apples and bananas. Plus the elevator was out. Really unhappy with our experience. We won’t be back.

At check in clerk said breakfast was from 6 to 9:30. Only had limited coffee, oranges and apples. No coffee in the rooms. Property inside was dirty, not vacuumed. Windows filmed over. Bedspread stained. Elevators were out. Lobby, breakfast area and halls were hot. Would not stay here again even if it was free!!!

Advertised with free breakfast including a sign behind the front desk of free breakfast buffet, no breakfast. Elevators were out of order so they forced me to carry my bags up the stairs to the 4th floor. I requested a non smoking room and the room reeked of cigarette smoke. Stains all over the carpet and bed sheets. I called to complain, and the woman tried to put me in the room directly across the hall. That room also had stains everywhere and the lights were all flickering like it was straight out of a horror movie. I walked out. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!!

Upon getting my key card, I noticed the elevator was out of order and told the lady at the desk that I have a heart condition so if she could please not have me walk up so many flights of stairs. She disregarded that and put me on the 5th floor. We get to the 5th floor open the door and the room was very much not cleaned. Trash everywhere, dirty towels in the bathroom, sheets and covers all over the place. I go back down after taking pics and videos. Show her what the room looked like. She gives me a different room on the 3rd floor. I have a party of 3 she gave me 1 face towel 2 hand towels and 2 body towels. The stair case was filthy and the next room she gave us wasn't clean either. Stains in the sheets and covers, tub had a ring around it. Towels had stains as well. I would never recommend this hotel to not even to my worst enemy -50 out 10

Hotel didn’t have the amenities mention n breakfast was very light. Room was decent n location is k by t freeway.

I booked this stay through Expedia and had to check out early due to severe sanitation and safety issues. Safety Hazards: The laundry room has standing water on the floor and a disconnected dryer vent, which is a significant fire risk. The elevator was also out of service. Sanitation: The room was completely uncleaned upon arrival. I found hair in the tub and food splatters in the microwave/fridge. I had to scrub the surfaces myself just to make it habitable for my young child. Hostile Management: When I requested a refund for these documented issues, the owner was unprofessional and hostile, stating "you get what you pay for" rather than addressing the health and safety violations. This property is poorly maintained and potentially dangerous. Avoid this hotel if you value cleanliness or safety.

I would rate Aspen Grand a big fat zero if I could. Upon arrival I realized the hotel was filthy the second I stepped in the lobby. The girl at the front desk was polite, and that’s probably the only good thing I can say about the place. They tried to put us (including my 86 year old grandfather) on the fourth floor which wouldn’t have been an issue, except the elevator was out of service. After some arguing, one of the cleaning staff members informed the attendant that they just finished cleaning a room on the first floor we could have. Except that room wasn’t clean, we realized when we got inside. There was chewed gum in the bathtub, dirt on the bathroom floor, etc. The next morning, we checked out the “breakfast”. There was no coffee. Just milk and two cereal choices. When we asked the man at the counter, he LITERALLY shrugged his shoulders and said “this is what you get for the price”. Maybe Expedia should do a better job vetting places before they advertise them. This place was an absolute dump. Do not come here.

Overall decent value. The elevator is out and my room was on the 4th floor, so that was annpying but not a deal breaker. The breakfast was pretty dismal, but that's expected. The room had some stains on the floor, smelled like smoke even though it was non smoking, and there was old socks behind the night stand. The beds were comfy and the sheets and pillows were nice and clean

The hotel room was very nice and very spacious. Beds were comfy. Cons: We were put on the 4th floor and the elevators were not working. The hallways and lobby area were extremely hot & muggy. Front desk attendant was not friendly; even my son said something about the way he spoke to me. The breakfast was very limited. The only hot item was waffles.

Do not waste your money. The hotel is located in a sketchy area. It seems like they only clean the lobby every day. The hallways are not vacuumed, and neither is the room. Brown stains on towels. On the bed, only sheets and a cover, but no comforter or blanket. I spent several nights in that place, and not once did anyone come to vacuum the hallways, the room, or change the towels—noise in the middle of the night, banging in the hallway, drunks and junkies. The elevator is not working. Food - the pictures (on Google Map) are a scam (no eggs, meat, or potatoes/hash brown). They serve only a continental breakfast. Whoever gave them 5 stars and a positive review has no common sense or has very low standards. They do not deserve even 1 star. I am sorry, but the 4.5 stars on the Google review summary are completely out of reality.

Place was junk. Elevator doesn't work. Water heater didn't work even though they said the heaters were brand new and tney only have 1 Elevator. When asking for the manager O was told the manager is not available till Saturday. I would recommend first never stay at this Hotel and Second never use expedia. After I even bought the trip insurance I am being stuck with a bill for 7 days instead of only the 2 nights I stayed. Noone between expedia and definitely the hotel speaks any english.

as soon as we walked in we noticed the sheets were full of hair and had random stains. the floor was dirty, the toilet was leaking and the towel racks had visible crust on them. broken elevator and the stairs were filthy. front desk was nice though

First night the key card wouldn’t work. Elevators didn’t work so you had to use the stairs which were absolutely horrible. There was no comforter on the bed, the room was completely dirty. The bathroom room was dirty as well there were no towel. The one towel that was hanging up on the tank had blood all over it. The whole hotel was just dirty. The only good thing about the room was how comfortable the bed was. I will never come back here again.

When I got to the hotel they informed me that they didn’t have any rooms available so I couldn’t stay there.

The room was not properly cleaned. The sheets had visible stains, as if they had not been changed, and the carpet had not been vacuumed. One of the two chairs in the room was completely broken. Housekeeping was essentially nonexistent—no one serviced the room during the entire three days of my stay.

We get there the elevator didn’t work, the hot water wasn’t working, there was old food left in the fridge from the person before. The breakfast way okay didn’t have much to choose from. The ac worked really good.

Rooms weren't clean the floors were nasty beds didn't really look clean. Faucet leaked and splattered everywhere. Bathroom door was all broke at the bottom. There was a pill on the floor when we walked in. Only one towel in a two queen bed room. They didn't even have anymore when I went to get some from the main desk

Decided not to stay after finding out elevator wasn’t working and only available room was up on the third floor definitely not convenient for a 78 year old to have to carry luggage 3 flight of stairs. Also the place smelled bad and floors were dirty.

In the description of the room, while booking, it was mentioned that there would be free breakfast in the morning. They did provide breakfast. However, there was no protein like eggs, chicken, sausages etc. which would normally be included in any breakfast.
