Play stunk like mold and mildew on the first floor by all the rooms I had to get relocated to a different floor. They’re in the middle of some kind of remodel. I think it’s got mold.

The pillows were the worst I have ever experienced in any hotel and hot and cold water in the bathroom sink was backwards. Overall the worst sleep ever!!!

Except for the air condition unit that was a bit noisy , everything else was ok . I would stay there again .

the lobby, mostly burgers. The "bar" was several booze bottles on a counter. Worst was the "24 hour " shuttle" It serves 10 different hotels. Took over an hour to get a shuttle from the airport. Cross this one off your list.

Also, they gave someone else our room key and they attempted to enter our room at 9pm and the front desk said they could only say sorry. No accommodations for the horrible, terrifying mistake.

The seat on the transportation van to the airport was in such a bad shape I could not believe, on the metal basically also mentioned to the driver and it made no difference to him. I would not recommend people to stay there.

Outside of the van that locked me up, the rest of the hotel stay was just fine. The van seriously needs new brakes. It’s not safe to drive with that noise and grinding. The sliding door flight was flashing too yet the driver did nothing. Not a good first impression

The hotel exceeded my expectations

The room itself was clean, comfortable and nice. When I first turned on the bathroom water, it smelled like sewage. This really turned me off. It looked OK, but smelled awful. I was afraid to brush my teeth. The odor was making me nauseous. After leaving the water running for a while it eventually stopped smelling, but it still tasted really weird and wrong (I didn't drink it, I only tasted it when I brushed my teeth). A secondary and minor issue was the gym was poorly maintained and looked neglected. Missing weights, machines not working, broken glass. I know the gym isn't a top priority, but if you're going to have one, make it presentable. The sewage water was the main issue I had, that doesn't seem normal or safe.

Our flight got cancelled late and we wanted a hotel with a restaurant, so we specifically chose this one for that reason. This hotel stated it had a restaurant and that it stays open late. Even when you call the hotel, their automated system mentions and boasts about this "restaurant". At check-in, we ask about the restaurant and were informed you order food from this so-called restaurant at the front desk! The menu had 5 items including chicken tenders and corndogs. And I could take my food and sit in the lobby, take it back to my room or sit on their patio. What a complete disappointment. The hotel seemed clean enough even though we spent very little time because we then had to uber to get real food and came back just to sleep before our flight the next morning. The air worked great until the middle of the night when it got super hot and wouldn't cool back down. The front desk ladies were very little help with I did need assistance. The complete experience was very disappointing and will avoid this brand of hotels in the future.

The morning staff was not responding to getting clean towels after calling 3 times I had to go down to the desk only to get one towel. The clerk was rude and eating not very professional.

The property was great, the staff was very friendly & helpful. The room was clean & the bed was really comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like much is that they don’t really have a restaurant or bar like they say. They have a kitchen & some liquor on a counter. You have to order at the front desk & they deliver it to your room. I was looking forward to sitting at the bar & interacting with people. The other thing I didn’t like was the airport shuttle. It took forever to get picked up & the driver was on his cellphone the whole time. I’m disabled with a service dog the van was too high for me & the driver was too busy on his phone to assist so I struggled to get on the bus. He also didn’t interact with anyone, no “hi how are you” or anything. It was very disappointing.

I found the hotel with a simple wine bar, a tea station and a snack shop, chips, candy bars and ice cream. All of this is so nice when you cannot sleep and want to do something with out leaving the hotel. The rooms are spacious. However, ordering a cheeseburger and fries at $17.95, the lettuce was old, dark green and wilted. Definetly not fresh at all. I took the wilted lettuce off and ate the rest. I was hungry. I asked for a discount and was offered 30% off of my meal but didn't get any discount. I did not want to order a different meal because the first one was not good. Otherwise...I had a great experience. There was Haagen-Dazs and Kit Kat ice cream, yummy. The Crown Royal Apple flavorered so good. I also enjoyed the tea station with the Lemon Lift tea.

Be warned, they charge $20/day for parking, unless you're part of an event happening there (which we were). They do have a small restaurant there, which is nice in a pinch (if a bit over-priced). Room rates are outrageous if you're not there as part of an event. Rate was decent for the event, but we tried to stay 2 extra nights and the rate essentially doubled!

The room never got cool.It felt like a window was open all night. It was so humid in the room. The gym was a big disappointment.

The bad. We stayed 3 nights and the maids never touched our room. We had to exchange our own towels at the front desk. We had to leave our trash in the hallway. I have never stayed in a hotel where maid service wasn't performed everyday.

The room had the necessities we needed. My complaints about the hotel are the water smells awful along with the hotel. It was bothersome to us especially the water.

The breakfast was great every morning and help us prepare to finish working on our house move. Love all the decorations in the hotel/room and space on the room we got was great. All the staff was wonderful too. would have love to have hot coco for the evening, since I was not a night coffee drinker.

Great staff, good location and clean room. My only complaint was the bed was very hard and could definitely be changed out. Otherwise great stay!!

beautiful space, good breakfast and on site food.

Had a decent parking. Very close to restaurants. Breakfast was decent, kudos to chef who was making sure everything was stocked, rooms were clean. They had free shuttles which I didn't use but they managed it really well. People had live airport updates screen in lobby.

The night manager was so helpful when we arrived at 330am in the morning! He was so helpful. The property is extremely well kept and the rooms are lovely. Very spacious with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was great too! Highly recommend.

Overall, I had a great stay at Wingate after my flight was canceled. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The only wrinkle in the experience was waiting for the shuttle. Wait for the shuttle at any terminal other than Terminal C (construction) and be prepared to wait for +45 minutes.

On our third night of flight delays we stayed here and it was lovely. Nice big room. Very quiet and well kept

The checkin went smoothly and the staff was polite at the front desk. This would be the only time I saw those two individuals specifically the entire week. The room was warm and humid the entire time, I had to put the temperature at 62 to just so I wouldn't wake up drenched in sweat every night as I believe the AC/Heater in room 342 was damaged. I stopped ordering food to the hotel due to the fact that no one at the front desk would notify you when your food arrived. Mine arrived 15 minutes early and the delivery who had already left contacted me. When I attempted to talk to the young man at the front desk, he barely looked away from his phone. My order was approximately 30 or so feet away out of his line of sight, which means if the food was delivered early and someone decided to claim it, it's gone. Over the course of the week, I continuously woke up with bug bites which I'm familiar with in total, I had approximately 20 "chigger" / berry mite bites down my waist, on my legs, and ankles. I've stayed in my fair share of bad hotels but never one where I was being eaten by bugs while I slept. I did not bother to call the staff as I doubt they would even bother. I would not stay here again.

Location, close to DFW and the Parking Spot- North, cost, friendly staff, very clean. All the lights in the room worked. Comfortable bed, nice shower. Lighting in the bathroom for applying makeup was not bright enough.

Breakfast was ok but the shuttle didn't bring us to the terminal we needed, I to take a bus at the airport and wait 30 minutes to be at the right terminal. We took Uber to get to the hotel and next time we will take a Uber to get to the airport too. The hotel was very good and clean with very nice staff.

We had an overnight layover with a late arrival - this hotel was conveniently located near the airport and has an airport shuttle. Overall the hotel has nice aesthetics and a decent breakfast offering. We arrived too late for the onsite bar, but the friendly front desk staff were still able to sell us drinks. The only real complaint I have is that the bedsheets were a terrible quality - it felt like we were sleeping between 2 of those cheap plastic party tablecloths. It was very uncomfortable so we did not get the best sleep. Otherwise it was a decent hotel for the price and location. Quiet and clean.

I mistakenly booked a king size bed room, the front desk quickly changed it to two queen size bedroom for us.

Excellent staff, quick check in. Room very roomy, comfortable bed. Even had a Keurig coffee maker. Though I did not take the shuttle myself, I overheard a client complaining about the wait at the airport for one hour, the reviews stated the same; therefore I chose to park my car at a near Parkspot instead.

I really enjoyed my stay. It was a perfect way to relax during my overnight layover. Breakfast options were good, tasty and the area was always kept clean. I called to request shuttle pick-up at the airport and they informed me that they don't do pickups at the C terminal, so I moved to a different one, the shuttle did take about half an hour to arrive though.

Airport shuttle happened to be right there when came out of terminal so didn’t even call and came at exact promised time in the early morning. Rooms clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable bed. Front desk staff friendly and efficient .

We have an unexpected layover so we booked last minute. We wanted to find a place that was close to a convience store and could get food from a restaurant. There is a great taco truck nearby and the food was delicious.

The hotel inside lobby and the room were very kept and clean. The outside needs some updating and upkeep done. I didn't not have the breakfast so I have no reviews on that nor did I need the shuttle service.

The staff was very busy with airport cancelations and still handled each person quickly and with very kind service. Appreciate their help with logistics and warm hospitality. The airport shuttle was punctual and much more smooth than I had expected. Very reliable. Thank you!

The room was clean and the bed was super comfy. I hated the fact that i heard people walking the halls all night. Then the day of check out housekeeping came knocking at 7:40 in the morning then she started vacuuming next door at 8 so no chance for extra sleep.

Only area of difficulty was the airport shuttle. It was a key reason we selected the Windgate. Getting the hotel shuttle from DFW took 60 mins with multiple calls. Next mornings shuttle back to DFW went OK.

It's better than I expected from a 3 start hotel with a 2 star price. Everything was clean, and there were limited signs of wear but nothing that was outdated or needed to be replaced. Nothing fancy, but nothing problematic.
