Studio 6 Irving, TX – DFW North

FILTHY, right from the jump. We got there close to midnight, when we got to the first room they gave us the door was open and there was still things from the last people to stay there. It looked like a crime scene almost. Went back to the front to get them to change rooms. The second room had waterbugs crawling out of a dirty bedsheet that was laying on the floor. Inside the second room has a pipe sticking out the wall . The "kitchenett" is a microwave and a fridge. Bed was broken and uneven. Window was broken with curtains falling off the rod. Door looked like it had been kicked in MULTIPLE times and had no deadbolt . By this time is after 12 , we're exhausted , I think to myself I'll just deal with it in the morning..... as soon as I sit on the bed...instantly start itching..... nope nope nope... I go to get a refund to get the heck out. I ask if it's going to be a full refund and the man said it was. Should have triple checked the paperwork because it was only $130 of the $170 i payed online to book and I do not recognize the credit card account number it's "refunded" to. FILTH AND FRAUD is what you'll get from this place. 0/10

When we arrived there were no available rooms. I was told an email was sent, but haven't received one yet.

Not clean room and there were roches everywhere

But the issues included a TV that didn't connect to all channels, just snow and then there were the bugs. One was on the bed and a couple were attempting to go after my food. Don't bother stomping on them because the sprint away from your foot. At least the wifi was working. It is a case of you get what you pay for. Knowing what I know now I would have asked for a new room even though it was offered.

Never stay here this place is run down looks like some people live there..old non working cars parked outside. Outdoor trash cans infested with roaches. Very depressing not work your bucks. Definitely not like the pictures..

This property needs professional help and management. More bugs in the room than outside - one INSIDE the microwave oven - at least no bed bugs...yet! The hotel staff was not only not helpful whatsoever, but they were somewhat dismissive, to boot. Did not have the room I reserved, did not have a remote for the TV, NEVER replaced the TV as was promised. DONT BOOK THIS STUDIO 6 - not up to par.

The place is a dive. Not clean. No amenities. Not well maintained.

Honestly, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. In terms of cleanliness, it is absolutely disgusting; there are cockroaches everywhere in the room. I don't know where the city authorities are—how do they allow this establishment to continue operating? It is a serious health hazard. Trash is strewn all over the hotel premises, and the floors in the hallways are filthy and repulsive. This hotel must be shut down immediately to prevent the spread of disease.

It was an absolute nightmare! The whole facility is falling apart, the room was not cleaned. The room was INFESTED with roaches! The “housekeeper “ is a literal active crackhead, and the linens had stains on them. The stovetop did not work and had exposed electrical. There was stuff stuck to the walls and floor. The curtains were dirty and torn…. There just isn’t enough time in the day to point out all of the reasons why this places should never be visited by decent people!!! Calling the health department and code enforcement.

I prepaid and booked online and when I arrived I was devastated because I was told I had to go find more money or borrow 15 dollars because they did not honor booking from hotel.com even though I had a reservation already paid. After I found the money I paid the what I felt was illegal and wrong extra money so we would t be on the streets because we had just drove 7 and 1/2hours, we then were told we were getting an upgraded room. There were spider webs longer than the wall, roaches, spiders in every corner, bigger than I have ever seen in my life and I have pics, the walls had what appeared to be feces on the, the microwave had a croissant in it that had been left so long the smell almost knocked me out and the old food flies that few out the microwave got all over me and my guest, I went to the office and was told to sit there with the flies and he will send housekeeping. I was outdone! Housekeeping came and sprayed bleach in the microwave, not bothering to kill the flies, also not wiping the bleach out after spraying. I also have pictures of this! The rest of the walls were filthy and there was not an upgrade Insight the second lie that was told by the front desk clerk. I could not do the spiders and roaches so I begged for another room because he told me they were out. He said he didn’t have anything. After he left a new desk clerk assure me if I gave him another two hours he would have something cleaned by then. 5043306128…. Do not stay here! Online is deceiving,infested

There were roaches all around the table and in the bathroom. There were wet rags left in the bathroom from whoever was there before and pee all over and around the toilet.

Floor was sticky. Neither of the two windows had locks and were loose and caused a lot of noise to get through. Bed sheets were itchy, had cigarette burns on them. There was roaches… we were there less than 5 hours to sleep and next time I will sleep at the airport.

What if you had been traveling all day very tired to a hotel at 1 o'clock in the morning only to go inside of the kitchen and find multiple roaches running out of the tank. Needless to say I just admit it turned right around checked out. I will never stay in that hotel again. That guy must've been sleeping so I was there for several minutes waiting for someone to pick me in. I'm sorry I didn't leave that. Do not be able to location unless love

The price was the main draw here – very budget-friendly for the area near DFW. The girl who checked me in yesterday was genuinely sweet and helpful. When I got to my room on the third floor and realized there was no remote for the TV, I called the front desk. She personally brought one over to the opposite side of the complex in what felt like under 3 minutes. That kind of quick, friendly service is rare, especially at this price point. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The room was infested with roaches – and I mean seriously infested. They were everywhere: on the walls, crawling across the bed, on the floor. Several were boldly walking around like they owned the place, and one even crawled right on me while I was trying to settle in. No matter where I looked, I saw more. It was impossible to relax, let alone sleep, with the constant movement and sheer number of them. I ended up leaving because there was no way I could stay in that environment. If you're looking for the absolute cheapest option and can somehow overlook (or don't mind) major pest issues, maybe it's tolerable for some. But for me, the roaches made it completely unlivable, and the total lack of response from staff when I reported it sealed the deal. I won't be back and can't recommend it unless they get serious pest control and better customer service.

Horrible management. Here's what happend it was snowing in Dallas and the room rate was around a hundred dollars, the owner booked the entire place and if you came to check in they charge you a minimum forty bucks on top of the reservations, they were testing to gouge people charge a 120 bucks on top of the fee. They asked about 16 people who had confirmed reset ovation to cancel becuase they charged people 259 dollars cash instead... So it was bad and we had many witnesses to this... I ended up walking to the Sheraton next door and booked a clean and safe room for 220 and I was happy I did. Also the property is terrible and thus was bad.

They didn’t have any rooms and the people over there were scamming and charged us again just to book a room I booked online. We paid double the initial price online. The room was VERYYY BAD and wasn’t cleaned. Only one heater worked. Next morning they tried to tell us that we checked out of our room already and gave us our cash refund back. NEVER WENT UP TO THE FRONT DESK TILL IT WAS ACTUALLY TIME TO CHECKOUT. WORST STAY EVER. Never got our money back either. They need to figure out what they are doing .

Room had bugs and roaches, the bed sheets seemed unclean, the room had a strong (cheep) perfume smell; also no drinking water was available either. In addition, despite receiving a confirmation when we made the reservation, we were told there was no room available when we arrived. At the end they offered us a room but asked for extra payment.

Then, the room itself! dings in the walls, areas of peeled-off paint, warps in the floor, signs of bedbugs in the mattresses and no duvets. And when I went to change the heater temperature the whole front panel fell off of it exposing a dirty and rusted grill underneath. I slept on the floor to try and avoid the bedbugs but when I woke up there were like, 8 of them visibly skittering around on the floor. This hotel was the stuff of nightmares. It needs to be shut down and definitely not offered as an option on third party travel websites. I will 100% be requesting a refund and disputing the charge if it’s not given.

After making a reservation and having a confirmation number, I get to the hotel free great expense because Uber was surcharging due to the weather and they didn’t have any rooms. There were at least 6 other people with the same problem. Completely unprofessional and ridiculous that they were booking rooms and charging full price when they didn’t even have the inventory.

The first room they gave us, had no electricity working in the room. The 2nd room we got had cockroaches. It was so bad our family left the hotel at 2am and just slept at the airport.

What can you say about this place you open the door the cockroaches scatter it says studio six which means it might have a kitchen. Does it has a refrigerator and a sink? Felt unsafe the whole time I was at this place too just like the surrounding areas just horrible. I just have nothing. Good to say about this place.

The room was disgusting!! Hair in sink, tub and on floor! The room stunk, and the air didn’t work!! I had to line the toilet with toilet paper in order to use it, and the sink faucet never produced hot water, and the shower was barely a stream!! Stop using printed blankets that can’t be washed in hot water and bleach!! The area was sketchy, which included people yelling right outside my door, only with the grace of God I was spared!! I won’t be back!!! The last and final addition! Roaches!!! Absolutely not doable!! Never ever!!

However, that refund process has also been a nightmare as the refund receipt is through a third party. The motel keeps telling me that they immediately processed the refund. However, Hotels.com has been unable to reach the hotel manager. It's not about the money. It is the principle of the thing. I have never had issues with Hotels.com, so I'm placing the blame on this motel. Would NOT recommend. Get a room at the Holiday Inn instead.

It smelled terrible in the room. Took 20 minutes to check in because the front desm person was gone. We didnt even stay for 10 minutes. Checked out, ate the cancelation fee, and went down the road to something nicer.

Staff wasn't very helpful at all.

Check-in was smooth and efficient. The room I was originally assigned had a few maintenance issues, but the staff handled it impressively fast. I was quickly relocated to a new room without hassle. Great customer service and quick problem-solving made the experience a positive one!

Roaches and bugs in the room. Room smelled like cigarettes. The front door wouldnt lock. Charged twice. Left after 60 seconds of being in the room.

The room felt like a cave. The light in the kitchen didn't work at all nor did the one in the bathroom. The door is less than a foot from the toilet. Someone at one point had kicked in the door. They repaired it with wood glue, there weren't even any nails or screws. Roaches on the wall. And they had some burn barrels outside with what looks like grills over them in the parking lot. We didn't feel safe here at all. We spent the night and bolted the next morning.

There was really nothing to like about this property from reception to room cleanliness. It was a last minute booking for me and i regret it. The outside of the property seem so run down and unsafe and the inside is old and smelly. The ac runs loudly throughout the night and adding that to freeway noise is a very loud room and i barely slept. I had ti go to Walmart and buy room freshener just to help with the smell. Overall i was disappointed with myself for booking this place.

This place is gross don't stay here. Roaches everywhere and dirty been sheets. I have pictures to prove it.

There was nothing good about this property. To start, the photos that I saw online for the room I rented had nothing to do with the room I got. When I went in the room (Room 303), there was no power, and the phone and tv didn’t work. We went to the front desk and requested another room and they told me that there were no other rooms, that we had taken the last room. They said they would send maintenance, but my guest and I were already upset, and I also saw maintenance moving furniture from another room into Room 303, so we went ahead and got a room upgrade. When we arrived at our new room (Room 219), there was power, but none of the amenities that the upgrade included worked. The bathroom door was broken, it took 4-5 tries just to close it. The dresser was also broken, we were only able to use the first one since the bottom two were stuck, and the first one didn’t close all the way. The coffee maker didn’t work, and the stove was missing both handles, so we weren’t even able to use it. The cups provided to us in the property were dirty and dusty. The water that came out of the kitchen sink had a weird smell to it and the entire property smelled weird. The phone cable was disconnected and didn’t work even when reconnected. There were no blankets in the room, and when we asked the front desk, they said that someone else had taken the last one. There were also no hangers in the room. And there were roaches all over the property. There was also construction in the parking lot.

When we made the reservation, we booked a room with a king bed & kitchenette. At the front desk, the man working says our reservation is for a normal king bed, no kitchenette even though I could clearly see on the reservation that wasn’t true. Also, he said the price on our room was because the room doesn’t include WiFi which I didn’t see anywhere on the website when I booked, unless I missed it in the fine print. Lastly, the room looked NOTHING like the pictures being advertised & was very outdated & cramped.

it’s don’t let me check in because is not receiving anymore reservations for oyo hotel on the motel 6 and the guy in the front told me to call for cancel my reservation but is never giving me another option for fix that and is not giving me my money back it’s sucks i not recommend oyo hotel

After I booked the room and paid for on line, I was informed that the property I booked my room at was no longer part of Oyo hotel anymore, so I was not allowed to check in and I was told I would be refunded and I yet to receive my money and it's been over a month now.

Absolutely nothing. I ended up falling asleep in my car because when I went to check in the cops had the driveway blocksd. That it is so far impossible to talk to someone there. I sent messages and only got back automated replies, I tried calling 3 different phone numbers and kept getting transferred to the wrong place. And it was a non refundable reservation and I wasn't able to modify my dates.

I didn’t get into that property because the property changed the company name. It was not your hotel. It was name changed to six hotel something and then they didn’t accept us and then we pay for nothing. I’m keep calling and emailing and I’m trying to get money back, but nobody contact me yet. My phone number is 403-478-5561. Please let me know as soon as possible how I can get my money back IP second time to get in that property to stay one night I don’t like it. It’s dirty towel is blood dry blood in bed cover sheet. Everything is dirty and hair all over.
