Super clean room. Staff was extremely helpful & very nice. Breakfast was AMAZING!

Wifi was spotty. Pool dirty. Tac strips exposed on the floor. Not enough pillows and towels for everyone in the hotel. We went and bought our own towels. Had to argue to get pillows for the kids pull out couch. They also said it was thin. Just know that the pictures are not what’s there. $600 will definitely get you something better. Don’t waste your time. (Kitchen and cleaning staff were great! This review has nothing to do with them!!)

The quality of the room, and overall the hotel stay, was worth what we paid for two nights. Considering some of the room furniture appeared to be quite old, the overall room was fairly clean. Although the room wasn't as pictured, there were things included in the room that made up for it: dinnerware, ice maker, coffee maker, tv, air conditioner, toiletries, etc. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was also good; including waffle makers, cereal, drinks, coffee, etc. The hotel room furniture was quite old and the common areas appeared quite outdated. It was also quite warm in the common areas, even hotter in some areas considering we are in Texas, that definitely affect the area in general. However, this was NOT a deal breaker.

I like the location of the hotel. The housekeeping staff were absolutely pleasant! The free laundry was most certainly a convenience. The lack of reasonable care after my room was flooded from the sprinkler system twice. A huge roach popped out of the blanket as he housekeeper was changing my bedding. I also seen several roaches in the hallways. The lack of hospitality and accountability from the front desk staff. The price gouging of the hotel extra fees for like checking in early or late and the overpriced snacks in their convenience store. The lack of variety for breakfast and lack of integrity to be fair and just to everyone no matter the race. The hotel truly lacks good management and is in much much need of several detoured maintenance issues.

Clean, kitchen stocked. Breakfast far and above the competition. Roomy, it has everything you need for long term stay. The maid even did my dishes, I don't know if thats normal so I gave a nice gratuity for it. I stay long term and the price was great. N/A

My room was clean. Just what I needed…and at a good price.

This property is very run down. The pool feels like they just put cushion on the floor. The doors did not lock. The refrigerator did not work. And a burner from the stove did not work. We asked the staff to fix it and they never came. We stayed for 10 days and nothing was fixed and there were a lot of ants in the kitchen.

The pool area was disappointing. A faded paper sign indicated that the pool was closed for construction or maintenance, and the water appeared dirty and neglected, suggesting it had been out of service for an extended period. We stayed for two nights. The breakfast provided on our first morning was of poor quality and did not meet expectations. As a result, we chose to dine elsewhere for breakfast on the second morning. The suite was okay, refrigerator door handle was missing. It took day to cool the room from 79 degree to 71 degrees . Overall, our experience was unsatisfactory. Based on the condition of the facilities and the quality of service provided, I would not recommend this location . PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER HOTEL. I should have read the reviews before booking.

Everything was what we expected for an older hotel. We had an issue with one lady at the front desk dot wanting to service our handicapped daughters bed because we were “extended stay” and the pool was not maintained so that was a disappointment as well.

I have never seen a regular door in front of the elevator doors. I accidentally hit it with my wheel chair and without my son I would have trapped in elevator. No bedding for the pullout couch available and didn't get any until nearly 11PM at night after an entire day of driving. All 3 TVs were broken or took turns not working for a variety of reasons and we had to have maintenance or staff in our rooms nearly every day for repairs. The toilet ran nonstop, the water isn't very hot, the dishwasher was ancient and extremely loud, the AC ran for hours before lowering the room temperature 1 degree, people sat trash outside their rooms daily and there were ants, the people above us stomped frequently waking us all up repeatedly at all hours of the day and night and when I reported it to the front desk, they said they were checking out - not true, they woke us up again that same night and the following morning. This location is making me rethink all Staybridge hotels.

To be an IHG property, it is not well taken care of. Paint is peeling off doors. The o my hot food for breakfast are breakfast tacos, there are no other options. Staybridge offers afternoon receptions on selected dates; not this property. Overpriced for Staybridge Suites. It should have remained Sonesta. When I called about forgotten property, front desk was extremely rude. Told me nothing was left behind but failed to ask. Called over a period of two weeks forward same issues, and always had the rude type person and was never called back as promised by other staff that would answer.

The property is older but for the price its excellent. It really could use an update. Staff is super helpful and friendly. They made us feel like they cared about our needs! Breakfast was better than most hotels. Over all great stay. Will stay again. Best bang for your buck.

The rooms are clean but the rest of the hotel is dirty. The elevator is scary gross and makes lots of noise. They forget housekeeping when asked.

Everything was pleasant. Just didn't agreed with pool being cleaned and closed on a Saturday. Could have picked a better day to do that. My kids were very disappointed especially after a very long hot day at the baseball field.

Super upset about the pool not being available. We were told it was out of order due to chemicals being put in to clean the water - mind you this was a Saturday. After a long day of baseball we were all looking forward to getting in the pool, wish we would have know ahead of time. Other than that the breakfast was good, elevator needs attention.

Room was very nice and even better than I expected. Beds and pillows were extra comfy. I loved having 2 separate bedrooms as I was travelling with a snorer. Best 2 nights sleep I've had in a while. Nice small breakfast, just enough. I will definitely stay here again!

We were there for a soccer tournament and decided that time we had a tournament in Dallas or Irving. We would stay there. They had a beautiful set up barbecue grill swimming pool basketball court for the boys. It was very nice. Very very nice. I must admit.

This hotel was filthy, broken down and unkempt

My coffee pot was broken, I had no hair dryer and had an ironing board but no iron. There were knives and two spoons but no forks in my kitchen One arm of the office chair was torn to shreds as was one of the curtains in the bedroom. The drain in the bathroom sink was closed and the stopper lever missing so I had to use a knife from the kitchen to open it. The towels at the base of the door to room 225 (there during my entire visit) suggests the room is being treated for something. As a woman business traveler I was alarmed to see one of the rear exterior doors to the hotel propped open one night. There were dogs staying at the hotel who were outside and unleashed. Overall, this property needs cleaning, updating, managing and some TLC. I’d love to know who gave this place an 8.

Everything was great. Lots of space and the room was very reasonably priced. The hotel seems well maintained. Front desk person was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. The only complaint I have is the furniture in the living room area definitely smelled like cats and I had a mild allergic reaction to it. It is a pet friendly property though so not a huge deal. I know cat smell is hard to get out of things. While we were there the weather was nice so we just opened the window while we were in the room. Other than that everything was excellent. Will stay there again next time I'm out that way.

Everthing was right. But receptionist had zero customer service experience i guess. Did checkin. I had to look for way to got to room and find loft. When i asked the lady pointed at direction , not word.. i stayed couple of times always shower has slow draining issue or half water goes theough tap so no shower presaure.. apart from that everything was ok

The stay was great. I appreciated the variety in the breakfast. However, the furniture in the common area looked worn out. This included the couch and coffee tables (2 tables pushed together). There wasn’t a lamp that provided a light ample for reading. Overall, great value for the price.

Wasn’t a great experience. Our toilet over flowed all over the floor before we even used it. Checked in late so asked in the morning to have it fixed as we couldn’t shower or anything. Two hours later still no one to look at it. We ended up checking out early. Still don’t have a refund. Sour experience . Roaches outside out door. A huge spider inside our bathroom. Won’t come back.

The lock on my room did not function. I reported it the first day to no avail. I also reported the strong smell of marijuana in my room. The clerk said it’s just from the room next-door. Do I want to get some spray for it? REALLY!!! I am currently in South America, but when I get back stateside, we will address this legally.

My room was a suite and was perfect. Reminded me of my first one bedroom apartment! The bed was extra comfortable and the a/c was perfect.

There were too many cigarette butts at the entrance of the hotel. Please move the designated smoking area from the entry way off to the side. The cigarette butts were a turn-off and you would need a full-time housekeeper out front just to clean up after the smokers.

Quaint and smelled good inside my room. Clean ish. But they definitely battle roaches that hide inside the walls. A little bit concerning.. but they also keep little kittens and cats roaming their area and feed them regularly. Nice to know rodents wouldnt be a problem. Be sure to drive safely because of the cats roam all day and night

For the past 6 years I'd stay at this hotel and for the 1st time I had a terrible experience. This was .my home away from home but since they have a new management it's was the dirtiest I've ever seen. There were things left in the room from the previous guests. The ants were out of control. The back of the hotel were I really enjoy with the pool area was the filthiest I've ever seen since Ive been staying there. I'd stayed here in April and I had no problem. Even though front desk personel in which I've never seen denied it, I automatically knew that it was a different management or owner!

Breakfest was good. Bed was soft. Water pressure was good in the shower. There was roach in the kitchen area. And the staff took care of it. I was not a fan of the air freshener they had in the room ( it gave me a headache). I had to unplug during for my stay. Over all the room was clean and more then i needed. Its a good value for the price. I will stay again.

I will be real honest to you. I’ve been going to this hotel for the past five years since I’ve been a Dallas Cowboys fan and it’s about 15 of us that like to stay at this hotel but it seems like it’s under new management and it’s not clean. I have roaches I had to clean my bathroom. I had to spray my room down with roach spray it’s sad. I will never stay there again.

We had a friendly greeting by the receptionist at our arrival. The room was cool and clean. Room for improvement I suggest changing the carpet in the halls. It smelled old and supply the breakfast buffet with enough utensils.

Great room design at a good price and really comfortable, was a little dirty and had some maintenance that needed to be done through the hotel but overall a good place to stay.

I booked a trip for family and friends to enjoy the city. One of hotel rooms had no issues besides an ant infestation. Another room had an AC issue and ant infestation as well. The rooms were overall clean otherwise.

I was in town for a convention and brought my mom along so she could enjoy the hotel while I attended sessions. The pool, which she planned to use daily for exercise, was disgusting upon arrival and completely unusable. I had to request for it to be cleaned, but by then my stay was nearly over, and the water was still cloudy and unappealing. The shuttle service was also misleading. The website advertised it, which was the main reason I booked this location, but there was no shuttle available. I had to use Uber every day to get to the convention center (only two miles away), spending over $400—more than the cost of my entire hotel stay. In hindsight, it would have been cheaper and far more convenient to book at the Westin attached to the convention center. Lastly, the breakfast was poor quality. Several times it was obvious the food had just been reheated and was inedible. This meant my mom, who didn’t want to leave the hotel each day, had very little to eat and ended up staying in the room most of the time. Overall, the hotel failed on all three of the main reasons I booked it—shuttle service, pool, and breakfast. I left not only disappointed but embarrassed for bringing my mom along to what was supposed to be a comfortable & relaxing time.

System was down so check in was manual. Outside looked like a million bucks. Inside was grungy and needed some TLC. TVs were old and small and not working properly. Guest WiFi was awful. Under 1-2 mb per second. Pool was not clean and green. Would not recommend.

For the most part my stay was great! Staff was wonderful. Room was good. The elevator looks rough. Looks like a service elevator not one for guests. The couch in the room (310) needs replacing. It's seen better days. Even with those couple of things the place was great. I'll definitely stay again.

From people's review i was concern about the hotel but it up being a pleaseant experience. The hotel was clean and i didnt see any bugs. The area was quite. Only issue i had was the TVs werent working well. One wouldnt connect to the internet and the other one would just show a blank screen. Also some people were running on the top floor. But that is not the hotels fault. Every hotel i go someone is always running somewhere unfortunately. Other then that i was able to sleep well.

When I walked into my room, I noticed a bug on a wall and then shortly after noticed nats flying around the room. I killed a few and noticed more. The staff helped me get into another room and it gave me a peace of mind.

Nice hotel. Only problem is it seemed to be short staffed. Had to call out to get the 1 desk clerk to come out of back room behind the check in desk, and had to wait a bit to get bedding for the sofa bed since not in room. Minor problems. Would stay there again.

The hotel upon entrance smell like dog poop..not pleasant at all!! The tvs didn't work in bedroom or living room, the pull out sofa bed very dirty and outdated 😔 springs were poking us..not satisfied at all...

The room smelled like a cigarette absolutely horrible, was told that I couldn’t change rooms, pool was under maintenance, tv didn’t work, no hot water, staff was rude and not helpful at all, I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this one was by far the worst of all of them. Hotel was located in a nice quiet business complex area a very safe serene area. The hotel interior was nice but a bit dated the rooms were nice and decent and clean as well but not upgrade was the latest technology for your phone or streaming services on TV

We checked in and checked out about two hours later. First the pool was closed and not in operation. Second the tv in our room couldn’t get it to change channels. The wifi was not working properly and the closet door in our room wouldn’t shut completely. So we checked out and found another place to stay even the Hotels.com charged me before we even checked in. That should be illegal because i should reserve the right to checkout if certain ammenties are not working and couldn’t get help from the front desk. The area around the property seemed ok. But this property needs to updated and better quality service. I hope i can get a refund since we didn’t stay the full two nights we paid for.

The pool was disgusting and had not been cleaned, however the staff was super friendly. Would not recommend. The wifi did not work and the rooms did not have extra supplies such as extra trash liners to change trash out, enough towels for the amount of people I booked the room for, etc.

Really comfortable room for a short night layover- perfect for our family of four. We didn’t get to use much of the facilities, but breakfast was good, everything was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay again! Very reasonable rates as well.

This place needs a lot of updates, no WiFi and I work remotely so that was very inconvenient. Televisions so old they want connect to the horrible WiFi, utensils in the kitchen were dirty. The manager did his best to make up for all the mishaps but we want be back!

My favorite place to stay at in Irving. It’s gives me a good vibe. Staff are great people. Front desk staff are awesome down to earth. Breakfast is always good. Ladies in the dining hall are great. Washer and dryer are included in your stay so if you do need to wash your clothes you don’t have to scramble for quarters. That’s one thing that needs some TLC. I have always left the property happy. If you are coming from the airport and if its before 11:30 pm I would suggest to take the DART train into town to the first stop Beltline station using the GoPass app to buy your ticket for $3 using the app more likely DART will sent a ride to take you straight to the hotel. I have never had a problem with DART to get me to the property using the app. $3 what a deal best deal. Plus the great deal when I stay here.

The room was great. Plenty of room in each bedroom. Living room was spacious also. Daughter loved the pool. It was conveniently located for our traveling. Would stay again for sure. Price was reasonable.

We love this hotel, the only damper was the hotel property had ANTS GALORE including the room😩😩😩!!! I understand it’s summertime, but I believe the property manager should have been ahead of the season. Not to mention, they do allow pets, in which there was a dog that barked half the night until I notified the staff. I also I would have appreciated more surveillants. Overall, great stay for a family of five with kids.

I stayed at Sonesta ES Suites Dallas - Las Colinas from June 6–8, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The customer service was extremely poor—not what I expected from a hotel of this standard. Upon check-in, I wasn’t even offered a bottle of water. When I asked, I was told it would cost $2.50. It's a small thing, but it says a lot about the level of hospitality. Something as basic as water should be a courtesy, especially after a long trip. The staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful overall. There was no effort to make guests feel welcomed or valued. I’ve stayed in many hotels, and this was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. I do not recommend staying here, and I definitely won’t be returning.

It's an old property with lots of work needed, but the staff is super friendly. Really basic hotel. Breakfast was standard with breakfast tacos, cereal and pancakes. Coffee maker was broken. Lock was broken. We were only there one night so I didn't care.

Overall, I was initially satisfied with the property at first. My son found bed bugs in his pillowcase. We took it down to the desk attendant running something would be done and I asked him to have the manager contact me. Nothing was done. I had to reask if the manager was informed, when they called me to see when I was leaving my room for check out. At first they offered nothing. Then after seeing I was not happy with that, they offered to waive the $50 balance I had left from a $678 total. I dont appreciate that they were so nonchalant about bed bugs. I would have came back to this property again before finding out about the bedbugs. The management should have handled this better. I didn't have the time and patience to wait for someone else to treat me the same way regarding this matter.

The hallway smelled like weed and the tvs didnt wprk. I asked the evening shift person and she was going to get back to me but did not. There was only decaf coffee for morning breakfast. The door handles looked as if they might fall off. These are minors things but for Sonesta I was a little disappointed. This will not be my first choice. However the staff was friendly and the bed was comfy.

The rooms were nice and clean. The hotel overall was okay. The hallways/ elevator need some paint. The food was okay wasn’t many options and a few days the food was undercooked, no real fresh fruit besides apples. the coffee was like drinking brown water. There was no housekeeping and I was there for a week which I didn’t really understand and you had to take out your own trash to the first floor no matter what floor you were on, which was completely strange in my opinion.

WE STAYED FOR 5 DAYS AND HOUSE KEEPING ONLY CAME ONCE, AND THAT IS BECAUSE I WENT TO THE FRONT DESK AND TOLD THEM THE ROOM NEEDED ATTENTION. GYM HAD EQUIPMENT THAT WAS UNSERVICABLE. WOULDNT RECOMMEND UNLESS THEY CHANGE THIS POOR SERVICE. NEVER CAME TO DO THE BEDS, RESTOCK THE TOWELS, CHANGE OUT THE TRASH AND I COULD KEEP GOING. TO NICE OF AN AREA TO HAVE THIS BAD SERVICE.

When I arrived to check in, their computer system was down, so she had me put my information on a piece of paper, including my credit card number (which I did not like or want to do). I asked for the paper to be locked up til the manager came in, but she told me it would be on the manager's desk til she got in the next morning. It was late, we went to bed. We woke, had breakfast, and went to use the pool. It was full of debris and large bugs. It hadn't been cleaned in a long time. We left for the day, and when we returned to go to bed, we had little ants all over the living room area. I called the front desk and they said they would take care of it that next morning. We were gone all day again and when returning we still had little ants.

The nice lady at the front was exhausted as she was working a double. The room had heavy cigarette smoke in a non-smoking hotel. Front desk clerk kindly moved us to another room. Original room was in poor condition. Most likely will not book Sonesta again.

Had ants in our room. The attendant contacted the manager. I never heard from her about it.

I could not get a hold of anyone to cancel my reservation so I got charged for 4 nights. They just keep transferring calls to more people who cannot help. Travelocity was just as bad. They could not help me even though the airlines canceled my flight. “They will get back to me.” They have never called me back. Terrible service. Will never book a flight and hotel through Travelocity/Expedia again. Oh, and I did purchase “ insurance.” Still did not get a refund.

Friendly customer service. Nice neighborhood but did noticed a smell, airfreshner or carpets need a cleaning beside that, everything else was good!

The hotel room I was in had roaches in it, I didnt notice until I got up the next morning and had to kill two of them, one in the pantry and one running up the wall out of the couch. The exterior of the hotel looks decent, but the halls with the rooms look old, peeled, and smell of smoke. The room also had a somewhat musty scent.
