This hotel was outdated, and the price was astronomical for the quality expected from a Residence inn. I recommend choosing another hotel in the area at that price point.

Then the building is not marked with exit to the lobby or elevators Book the hotel and it said free shuttle - when I called for shuttle front desk said we’re too busy tonight. There is no shuttle service — had to pay$ 25 for an Uber. So because of your shuttle, I spent $50 to and from the airport 2 1/2 miles away

The room was clean and ready when we checked in. We did have a 2 bedroom/2 bath, but one of the bathroom toilets was clogged when we arrived. We did call maintenance (it was late when we checked in, so we did not expect for it to get handles that night, but the front desk personnel informed us that someone would be there around 8am. When we came back the following evening, the toilet still was not functioning properly.

Rating: 5/5 Stars I recently stayed at the Residence Inn in Irving for a one-night stay (Sunday the 29th), and it was truly excellent. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Dallas area, this is it! Here are a few highlights from my visit: The Best Sleep Ever: I have to mention the bed—it was hands down the best mattress I can ever remember sleeping on. I woke up feeling completely refreshed. Brilliant Layout: The room design was so impressive that I’m actually using the layout as inspiration for a tiny house project I’m planning. It was functional, spacious, and felt like a home away from home. Top-Notch Service: The staff was incredibly polite and patient. As a guest, I felt genuinely cared for and, most importantly, very safe throughout my stay. Convenience: While I didn't need the airport shuttle because I had a rental car, the location is perfect for those flying in or out of DFW. I had to check out before breakfast, but the seamless process made my early departure stress-free. I will definitely be back and will be telling everyone I know that this is the place to stay when visiting North Texas!

Very outdated hotel. Upon check in was notified water would be off for hours, due to a leak. Also when water did return a hot shower turned into a freezing cold shower. Hotel had an awful stench in the air. Elevator was malfunctioning! Needs renovation, badly!!!

Front desk gal super sweet and helpful. Frankly we were there less than five hours but disappointed. The property (units) seemed run down, dingy, and smelled of smoke and pot.

I appreciated how accommodating the staff was, and especially liked the complimentary shuttle service to DFW airport.

Place was clean and close to the airport. It was back behind all the other hotels and not very close to restaurants. The elevator was broken so had to drag luggage up the stairs. It was still a nice hotel for the price and being close to the airport.

The hot breakfast in the morning is great. The rooms are a little dated, but clean. This is my 3rd time staying at a Residence Inn.

Security was horrible, door from outside was broken so anybody can enter. The place had a smell about it… the tv didn’t work. Finely by bill was sent via email and no information is on the bill. I’ve been trying to call to get my bill so I can submit an expense report. They pick up and hang up the phone because I’ve been letting it ring for so long. My last stay at a RI. Back to Hampton Inn I’ve never had any of this at the countless properties I’ve stayed at.

First time in Dallas and picked a Marriott property. Unfortunately the condition of the hotel and room was poor. The entry door you needed your card key but the door was open and wouldn’t lock. We felt very uneasy. The bathroom door didn’t close completely. I asked front desk if there was an easy way to get to our room was told no and had to walk around the building only to see easier access in other areas. Overall just a bad experience and won’t stay again

Needs remodeling; carpet odor covered by a very pungent musky carpet freshener - gave me a headache. The location is very convenient to businesses near DFW and places to eat within a few minutes drive.

My wife and I stayed just one night before flying out of DFW. The hotel was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The environment was a little noisy.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, the a/c was great especially with the hot weather and the staff was super friendly. The hotel's location was centralized to everything we were wanting to do, Grapevine Mills Mall, Medieval Times and the Texas Ranger Stadium.We will definitely be staying here again!!

At one point in the back and forth conversations I was told by the shuttle driver that he couldn't find us and his shift was now over! After we waited almost an hour we finally took a taxi to the hotel. The taxi driver came in to verify that we, my brother and my 86 yr old mother had been waiting at the pickup spot for a long time. The taxi driver was then given an irritated, dismissive thank-you by the individual behind the desk. There's a lot more but I don't want to relive the nightmare.

Room was nicely laid out. Clean and quiet.

We arrived at 3:15 to check in and were informed (by the shuttle driver) that no one was there to check us in until 4:45 pm. We left and returned. In our room, the TV was broken, so I called the front desk who said no one was there to fix it, so we had to move rooms. In the new room, the tv worked, but the bed was uneven… my feet were a foot higher than my head. And the toilet was uneven, one hip was four inches lower than the right. Not to mention the airplanes taking off and landing every few minutes even into the night. Will never stay here or another Residence Inn again. Terrible.

In addition, the included buffet breakfast was copious with good choices for everyone: sweet, savory, meat, eggs, yogurt–and good coffee. Good choice for our 2-night stay!

Television had no signal. Advised the front desk on the first day but never fixed. There was no iron in the room.

Great place to stay with kitchen while traveling for business. Ten mins from the airport. The lady at the front desk also let me check in early. She was great. Will stay again when ever i travel back to dallas.

I booked this for my parents when dropping them off at DFW. Spacious rooms, well-lit, comfortable beds, nice breakfast -- no complaints. Marriott is reliable for quality.

My room lock was broken and the heater wouldn’t work. It was under 49 degrees outside. I told the front desk and they said the manager would call, nobody called me.

Bedroom sheets was discussing filthy, coach bed did not have sheets, additional money was charge for taxes , receptionist had a bad attitude and not knowing her job, will not recommend this place at all

Cleaner smell was so intense in the hallways. Very convenient for getting to the airport early in the morning.

Great accommodations

The elevators were not working. There was no ice, the internet was not consistent and the decor was 1990s the free amenities reminded me of a Motel 6

Refused a room that was prepaid and confirmed. Hotels.com failed to find me a replacement room. Had to pay for an alternate location and Uber out of pocket. No refunds yet, can’t wait for that fight.

I was one the first floor and it was really loud and could hear everything on the outside and didn't rest very well.

Rundown, not update and not kept up. Terrible Residence Inn. Louder than normal noise levels at the airport, widows rattle from planes flying over. Had to wait for staff a long time to show up for check in. Questionable people hang around the property

Waited 20 minutes for someone to even show up at the front desk for check in. I left trash outside my door for pick up at 6:00 am one morning and it was picked up the 3rd day after I had 2 bags sitting in the hallway. Marginal people are hanging out around this hotel with the staff at times. Have no idea how this place got the ratings.

They had the most comfortable pillows so we slept very well! The lady at the front desk was very friendly and took care of us just like family, definitely recommend this hotel!!!

The amazing, friendly front staff is what really impressed us here. She was so friendly and helpful. It made it feel more homey and comfortable. I loved the breakfast. I was so impressed with how well the suite worked for our family.

Roomy rooms with extra room with a TV...Great benefits!!! They always put on us on the sunny side of the morning. We always have to make sure the sun doesn't wake us up before time! Need more Bedroom Lights and one light in room #117 doesn't work. Didn't have up to date phone & laptop plugs. Everything else was great!

Bedding has not been changed and had a body odor of previous guest. Carpet had disgusting stains.

I actually liked my stay at this hotel, but housekeeping never wanted to come & clean my room. I stayed there 2 weeks due to work, & housekeeping only cleaned my room once eventhough I requested like 6 times. When they cleaned it that one time they didn't even really clean, vacuum, or stock up my room with necessities. I stayed going down to the front desk after work to get supplies, which was very annoying.

Ours was a very relaxing stay. Not minor detail is that planes fly low and directly over the hotel on their landing approach to DFW airport. We tuned them out, but others may not be able to. Otherwise, it was a great stay and we're going back next weekend.

Needed a place near the airport as I was on a business trip with a early morning flight. Only stayed for about 5 hours as I was a late night arrival. Seemed like a bit of an older hotel that could use some upgrades but room was clean and nice for what I needed it for. Woman at the desk was friendly but my 3:30am phone call to make sure I was awake for my flight came at 2:30am since the day light savings time change wasn't taken into effect.

They hotel was nice, staff was very accommodating when my family and I missed our flight. The front desk person worked her magic as well as the cleaning crew to get us back into a room even though we were back waaaaay before check in.

Good continental breakfast with waffles, bacon or sausage patties depending on day. Relatively convenient location. I was here for vacation, and it is a straight shot Southeast on 114 to downtown where I went to the Perot Museum, Dallas World Aquarium, 6th Floor Museum and the Texas State Fair. There aren't any restaurants within walking distance, but I had a car. Sam's Club, Walmart are about 10 minutes away. Pet fee is $100 :(.

Our Room had some kind of dried dirt still on Carpet. There was Amazing Cleaning Woman on the other side of the Hotel, who cleaned up the mess left by previous Cleaner. Plus, Beds and Parking Lanes could have been bigger

pleasantly surprised with this property; the place looked like it had been recently remodeled/upgraded. Great price for this type of stay.

and the day person was almost ruid while telling us we missed breakfast. I have stayed with Marriotts before and this was the worst and will no longer support Marriot.

The front desk clerk Will, was absolute great!! we were lost and hungry late nite , he check us in and gave us menus and he called to see if a restaurant was open after 10 pm, and we ate doggishly ,thanks Will . all the staff were polite and especially the ground keepers ,the facility very well maintain, I will be back 2021 can't wait...

I liked the suites that they offered they even let us check in a little early and the check out was easy!

Everything thang was so clean

Nice hotel in a business park area giving limited dinning and shop close buy. The hotel is right in the flight path for DFW, so between 7am and midnight be ready for flights overhead.

Outdoor pool was great. Breakfast was decent. Room was good. Front desk guy wasn’t particularly friendly. No room service. Not enough towels - we had to share for two days because there wasn’t enough staff to wash them.

Choosing this location for rest and relaxation is not a great idea. There are much better options that are cheaper. While in a decent area, airplanes fly over this hotel every 5 minutes nonstop. If you trying to rest,....forget it! It also scrambles the cable tv severely with each flight (every 5 minutes). To my disappointment, the cabinetry is worn and does not blend with the room on the whole. It definitely does not look like the pictures online.

CONS: The guy at the front desk seemed irritated with me checking in. I came back a couple hours later (9pm ish) and he was asleep at the desk. I had to wake him up to ask about the shuttle. I also didn’t like having to walk outside to get to the other side of the building where my room was. It rained my whole trip so having to go outside sucked.
