Quality Inn & Suites Irving DFW Airport South

Room had fleas on the bed after getting back from a concert noticed it at almost 3am, and guy at front desk said they had no rooms available and told us we can leave, didn't offer any solution until we told him to change the sheets but even at that we didn't stay there. Never have I ever had such a bad experience will never stay here again had to rent a room at the Hilton across the parking lot luckily they had a room available...

No complaint. Exceeds expectations for the affordable accommodation that the venue provides.

Good location, nice staff. Rooms are clean, functional and spacious, beds are comfortable, good showers. Breakfast is limited but it works for a quick bite; it has waffles, yogurt, bread, cereal, juice and coffee and that's good enough for me. It has free self parking which is convenient. Had no issues all weekend.

It's an older hotel and because of carpeting it has that older hotel smell. But, it was clean and our room was decently maintained. We stayed one night to get to the airport the next day which was super simple. They have breakfast and snacks and drinks some toiletries at the front desk. It is a small hotel, but it was a good stay.

Convenient to DFW airport. Comfortable bedding. Couldn’t get remote to work so they promptly moved us to another room. Daisy was very nice. Our stay was short so we didn’t have breakfast. We would stay there again.

The beds were super comfy, the location was near where we were visiting during this trip, the pool was fun, and the staff were kind. Definitely willing to stay again in the future! Not a lot of variety for breakfast. Just muffins, waffles, little breakfast burritos, and oatmeal. Was hoping for some sausage, bacon, and eggs. The breakfast wasn't a deal breaker though. Also, the first night we killed two small roaches. I also didn't like that on the day of check in I rechecked booking.com and the room was being offered for less money than when I booked it.

Overnight stay for DFW flight the next morning. Had setup and requested a shuttle two days prior to the stay--was told at the front desk shuttle was full, could only take the 6AM shuttle for a 9:30 AM flight out of DFW. Next shuttle available was 9AM. Seems there is only ONE shuttle driver for this location. the room was nice, had a king size bed and a baby toddler toilet; was so low to the floor I needed a cane to push up. The bed was comfortable, Otherwise the stay was just enough to be close to the airport the next morning so we wouldn't have to drive 40 miles so early in the morning.

So close to gas station and restaurant and hwy and that the pool was open to take my kids There wasnt lotion in the container.

Nikki at the front desk was helpful. When I get my refund for the stay I will be happier. It does not have a hot tub as the page says. The bed was hard as a rock and the room smelled like stale refrigerator. We booked it specifically for the hot tub so when there wasn’t one I asked them to cancel our stay and refund it. Nikki said they are going to so we shall see.

Having washer and dryer on site was extremely helpful! They had daily breakfast but no cooked foods, so if you're an eggs,bacon, sausage and biscuits lover you're out of luck. Doors could use some insulation from the hallway noise, this would have made it a 5 star review.

It was a horrible experience. We had to change three rooms. The room smells super musty, and everywhere was mold. It was disgusting. We should get our money back.

The hotel is okay. You get what you pay for. The bed was actually pretty comfy. Be careful with the airport shuttle driver. He was late to pick me up at 4 am, seemed lost when trying to find my terminal and ended up dropping me in the wrong terminal.

Room 213 has a strong smell of mustiness. We left after one night.

The room an oder or smell that smelt moldy. Not only did it smell, but the odor ended up on a clothes that our entire wardrobe needed to be washed once we reached home.

The rooms were dirty, some smelled like rotten food, and I even noticed bed bugs. I specifically booked a room with a refrigerator, but after changing rooms twice, I still did not get one. The biggest issue was the misleading information about transportation. Expedia mentions free cabs/shuttle service, but after arriving I was told different things each time - first that rides were free, then only within 5 miles, and later that it was only for long-term student residents. Because of all the confusion, I ended up paying for all my own cabs, which caused a lot of inconvenience and extra expense. This was my first experience in Texas and unfortunately the staff interactions were very impolite with constant communication gaps and misunderstandings. I would strongly recommend staying away unless this is your absolute last resort. Personally, I would avoid staying here again even if no other hotels were available.

The property location was convenient to DFW. The property is older, and although some maintenance is being done, it still requires quite a bit of attention. The bathtub in our room had red stain all over the side, and the bottom of tub was rusted. The hallways smell like marijuana, so if you want to avoid getting high hold bring a respirator. There is a $20 cash only deposit you receive back at check in. The issue here, the front desk person literally has to inspect all the rooms before handing it back to you. The line had about 12 people waiting. The others just left without getting the money back. Nice untraceable income, I suppose. Took over 30 minutes to get checked out. A lot of stress and tension with everyone waiting, and I felt sorry for the older woman doing it all on her own. We won’t give it another shot.

I appreciated the airport shuttle. The driver was helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was adequate. Bed was comfortable. AC worked great. Staff was pleasant. The facilities were looking well-worn. Things were being stored in the stairwell. Pillows were lumpy.

hose Waiting for a Flight Its a perfect location for people waiting for a flight and offers a shuttle transport to the airport. But more than that its perfect for people using the DFW Parking Spot South location to park their car for their trip duration as this hotel is literally less than 0.5 miles from the entrance to Park Spot South. As for the hotel itself it is a standard Quality Inn despite the foot traffic it gets from airport visitors it has maintain the standard well. It is located next to a Whataburger in the parking lot next to it so its walking distance. You might need to book ahead simply because it gets so many people from the airport so it can fill up fast or the variety of rooms will decrease. The beds were not the most comfortable but still not the worst.

The best breakfast food is the waffles. The rest is more continental breakfast. The hotel is clean and accommodating and the staff is friendly. Great hotel for the price.

Shuttle service very poor, the driver nearly went to sleep on the freeway and a fellow passenger had to chat to him to keep him awake!! Breakfast good, room old and tired but fine for one night.

Right by the airport with a shuttle. We did have to wait 30 plus minutes for the shuttle but that seems pretty standard. The hotel was clean, not far from the airport, has a shuttle for airport transport, Whataburger in the parking lot, comfy bed, and hot shower. Great stay!

I didn't have breakfast. There was lots of parking. There was also a gas station/mini mart and a seafood restaurant within a 3 minute walk.

My room was on the first floor after already staying one night I discovered the next morning that my window was open and unlocked anyone could have entered at any time. Very unsafe.. the spa didn’t have heat or hot water.. the trash was always full and the staff are very un friendly. I will never stay here again.. The whole motel was a mess..

The price was excellent for the level of quality. The room was spacious and clean. There was no refrigerator or microwave, which is becoming a standard in hotels today. There were only ten TV channels available.

The front desk staff was very accomodating and supportive with our frantic arrival. The shuttle bus driver was very kind and worked hard through the night to get everyone from the airport to the hotel during a storm and many delayed flights.

This might have been the absolute worst customer service I have ever received. We booked for the Park and fly option. We had to basically beg for info and pay $48 additional to park our car. Shuttle to the airport was fine, everything from there was a communication nightmare. I was told to call 2 hours before we would need shuttle. Well common sense says that would be in the air for most flights, so I called 4 hours before, took 7 calls and 30 mins to get anyone to even answer. Getting a direct line to driver was like pulling teeth. Was told that though I was traveling with two teenage females and am a female myself, we could not prearrange shuttle. That we were to text when we landed, even though that was 2 am and it was 25 degrees. After explaining that again, I was told they would not schedule us, that we had to text at 2 am. So we did, to which they responded "Text us when you are standing on the curb." At 2 am in 25 degree weather. So, again we did......FOR 45 MINS straight. They had their read notifications on, and they ignored us, for 45 mins, and would not answer when we called. Finally I call the front desk number again, they answered. It was the shuttle driver himself who acted like he had no idea we were there and told me someone at the front desk must be answering and he didn't know. Instead of apologizing, he basically told me it wasn't his problem. He finally shows up, 30 mins later, when the hotel is less than 10 mins and he knew we were standing there.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff courteous. Very helpful with taking the shuttle to the airport.

Just a reasonable priced place to sleep before a week of business leadership training and Quikity Inn has never disappointed me.

Front desk guys were pleasant . Bed was comfortable. Shuttle to airport was good. Definetly needs upgrading. Carpet had big ripples in the room, hazard. No hot water in bathroom sink.

The towels were stained and dirty. The floor smelled like mildew and mold. It was so bad the smell was burning my nostrils. The blankets had bleach stains. I also tried to contact the front desk from my room phone and was never able to reach them.

How clean and new it looked

I really liked the rooms they were spacious and chic. Clean comfortable I was very impressed. The cost of the hotel I expected it to be okay, clean, functional. I did. Or expect it to be as nice as it was. There really wasn’t anything that I didn’t like nothing stood out again great place for the cost of rooms. Truly will stay here anytime I’m in Dallas again.

Convenient location from my job. Front desk clerk was dishonest about how I could get my receipt when I asked her for it after paying upon arrival. I went into the Booking.com app and it clearly stated ask clerk for the invoice or call. I called the phone number through the app and I told her then she gave it to me. Smells old throughout the whole building. Water didn't get very hot for my shower. This was my 1st time using Booking.com so I had to figure out the process of how it works. My room rate increased by paying in person vs the app. Front desk clerk was not friendly at all; not even a smile or a thank you.
