No elevator but other than that it was ok

Area was quiet at night. Hotel is well kept up. Desk staff was very helfpul.

Not really much around but that was fine. The cleanliness was an issue though. I don’t think the bedding was actually cleaned or changed. I had to shower before and after sleeping in the bed just to make sure I didn’t fully contract anything from the previous stay. There was also a leftover soap bar in the tub from the previous stay too. There’s some smudges/slight cracks on the walls but that wasn’t really a bother. Other than the cleanliness it wasn’t too bad. It is right by the highway/freeway so it may be loud at times. Im more of a meticulous person on cleanliness versus the aesthetic of the place. So it really was just the dirty bedding/tub for me.

Nothing. This hotel was not clean at all. The sheets and towels all had stains on them. We asked for replacements and the new ones had stains as well. This was both rooms. I felt gross in there. The stairway smelled like cigarettes. There was also a grasshopper sound near the window that kept me up all night. The shower would not drain properly, there was no shampoo, and the tub faucet ran regardless to what setting it was put to. Horrible experience and I regret staying here. Worst hotel I have ever been to by far. The location and building itself is not that bad. All of this stuff could be fixed easily for not that much money if management desires to.

Couldn’t find paid reservation initially. Found it eventually. Room was clean and suited our needs for the night. No elevator.

Loved the price for our stay and the rooms. I’ve stayed at more expensive places that were in worse condition than here. Amazing motel for a short stay, staff are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are updated, modern, spacious and clean. Only giving a 9 rating because the air didn’t circulate as good as I’d like, even with the air conditioning cranked up. But other than that, I highly recommend! Plus they’re pet friendly and I had no issues bringing my dogs. Air conditioning doesn’t spread as good throughout the room and I’d like.

Same as usual. Only noticed this last two times we’ve stayed there that the rooms have a moldy smell.

Quiet clean location. Many food options around and friendly staff.

Front staff male is not warm. This family is constantly seen around the property. They stare at you when doing anything. The vending machine didn't take my dollar and the woman just stared at me while I struggled with the machine. Turns out it doesn't take dollars. When I used the washer and dryer, a man stared at me. The dryer didn't even dry my clothes. My room had a smell of mildew. There were cigarette holes in the flooring but at least the room did not smell of smoke. The toilet had mold in it. There's no ventilation in the restroom so the mildew smell made sense. Safe area, close to food. It's a decent place to shower and sleep.

Close by shopping area loved it restaurants nearby , especially starbucks

rooms were very small and the staff was extremely unfriendly a bit upity me and my gf was asked to not make any more reservations cause we had too much stuff in the room they said it was cluttered and messy

I would strongly advise anyone considering this Motel 6 in Irving to stay somewhere else. Our experience here was one of the worst we have ever had. First, the environment felt extremely unsafe. There were people constantly coming and going through the back entrances at all hours, and the activity around the property made it clear that management either doesn’t care or has completely lost control of what’s happening on the premises. Second, the staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Instead of helping with concerns, they treated guests like an inconvenience. The most disturbing part was the lack of respect for guest privacy. Staff repeatedly entered the room to “check” it every couple of days, even when we were actively staying there. On one occasion we returned to the room and staff were already inside without permission. That is completely unacceptable and made us feel like our belongings and safety were not respected at all. Between the unsafe environment, rude management, and staff entering rooms without proper notice or consent, this place is not somewhere I would recommend to anyone. If you’re visiting Irving, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. What we didn’t like The biggest problem at this location was the staff and the overall environment around the property. The staff were extremely rude and unprofessional, and instead of treating guests with basic respect they often acted hostile and dismissive. It also appeared that multiple members of the same family live on the premises in the area upstairs where the old kitchen used to be, and they would come through the property in groups. On several occasions they aggressively barged into rooms for “checks,” which felt completely inappropriate and invasive. The activity around the building was also very concerning. There were people constantly coming in through the back entrance at all hours, including obvious prostitution activity and suspected drug dealing happening near the building. The property did not feel secure or well-managed at all. Between the rude staff, people barging into rooms, and the type of activity happening around the building, the entire experience felt chaotic and unsafe. Management clearly needs to address both the behavior of staff and the environment around the property.

The initial staff and cleaning maid were accommodating and welcoming There's no ice machine on the property and therefore no ice, which was very disappointing and there's only 1 microwave to share with all the other guests present on the property. They require a $50 cash deposit and then when you leave, the reseptionist inspeced our room and lied stating the sheet was stained and I left soup in the ice bucket and used a towel to dry the floor had a dirty residue on it and therefore they were going to keep my whole deposit. I asked for the proof of stains and my husband demanded he speak to the management which she said wasn't present so when we refused to leave without our deposit, we got our entire deposit.

The location was great. 15 min from the airport and downtown. It was very clean. There was coffee in the morning only. It was what you would call a minimalist hotel. No shampoo , conditioner or lotion. We stayed two nights , no cleaning or towel changes . One hair dryer for the entire motel.

Needed a place to stay so I wouldn't be up driving late after a reception. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff went out of their way to get an iron and board for my wife to smooth out the wrinkles in her clothes before the reception.

Clerk don’t know what to do had to move motels because he messed up my reservation

I booked here due to the reviews being somewhat good. The room looked nothing like the picture. They were all dirty white walls. No color. It was filthy!! The floors were sticky and dirty. I had to wear shoes the entire time after seeing how dirty it made my feet. Someone across the hall was BLASTING music and singing in the hallway from 3am-til almost 6, after having to call down to the front desk. We noticed bedbugs the next morning. When they say everything’s bigger in Texas, they mean it. Especially, the size of the roaches at the back door. I’ve never seen anything like it.

Nice clean hotel. Service was quick and easy. Gentleman at the front desk was very nice. As a woman staying alone, I felt safe and comfortable. While the outside isn’t anything pretty, the rooms inside are nice.

Lobby, hallways and rooms were clean, even the corners of the rooms were clean. Beds & pillows were clean and comfortable. There was no noise that bothered me or my family. Coffee was in the lobby in the morning. I would stay here again.

Perfect location. approximately 20 minutes from Love Field airport. Super clean, brand new carpet, spacious rooms. Super friendly staff. Indian food restaurant next to it.. with delicious affordable food. Fast food within walking distance. Highly recommend this place! Pleasantly surprised.

Desk tried to charge a second time (I had pre-paid) in spite of me telling her twice. Then she bangs on my door while I'm preparing to shower to let me know she "caught her error" and was refunding the 2nd payment. Found live water bugs in my room twice during a one-night stay. One was in my fridge! Caught the first in a cup and showed the desk clerk (a male) and all he would do was tell me "To just put it outside." Comfortable beds but not sure about the cleanliness. At least it's close to DFW.

My sister and I stayed here for several days for the eclipse. It’s a little noisy from the nearby freeway, but is convenient to the airport. It was clean, and one of the best-lit hotel rooms (they’re always so dark!) I’ve stayed in. Nothing fancy, but it served its purpose and was a good, affordable place to spend a few days, while convenient to both Dallas and Fort Worth. No complaints from us.

Well, it was a Motel 6. And a small one. So, yes, its a little spartan. But there's nothing wrong with it, the staff was super friendly, and theres a starbucks just steps away.

Only concern was the property was back off the road and Google directed us down an alley to get there.

Hotel was dirty, sheets had stains I asked for new ones only to find them stained as well. Found more stains when I pulled the covers back. Ended up sleeping on of covers and covering up with my jacket. Oh it was hair in the tub

Clean, renovated room. Near freeway, so some noise.

Check in was easy and quick, the front desk was friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Check In Employee was so nice and informative. Even helped me in middle of night put batteries in TV clicker.

The room was just what I like. Simple and clean. The flooring was vinyl so felt that was better than carpet, Mini fridge and microwave made it easy to have snacks and cold water. Hair dryer was at the front desk. Housekeeping is every other day. You have to tell the front desk if you don't need it. they don't have the Do Not Disturb door things. I liked that is was close to restaurants and the freeway.

It was a nice enough place to spend the night. The price was good and the room was ok. AC was completely off when I got there… it was extremely hot and took a good while to cool down. When someone is coming to stay, you should turn the air on. Also… no usb chargers. Inconvenient.

Not somewhere I would be comfortable bringing my children (due to the sparse furnishings and open doors to unoccupied rooms), but serviceable for a single night stay.

Probably the nicest Motel 6 I’ve ever stayed in, extremely convenient for the airport, room is very clean, rooms appear to be recently updated, only downfall was no shampoo/conditioner type products in the bathroom and the neighborhood.

Room and hotel are a bit outdated. Nice shower. The room had a funny smell but overall slept well. If your looking just for a place to crash. This would be it.

Well lit. Neighborhood was a little sketchy. Simple room. Could have used some furniture.no soap holder in shower. Made the bed once during our 3 day stay..

The bed was made but the sheets were not freshly cleaned. It looked like someone had slept in that bed earlier. There was hair on the sheets and hair on the edge of the bathtub. I’m not a picky person, but I will not be back. Positive - The gentleman at the desk was nice.
