Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites DFW Airport South by IHG

The experience was great. My sister and I stayed there to go to a concert and the driving distance wasn’t to bad. The staff was nice and respectful.

It was great and very convenient

Check in was fast and easy. We stayed for 2 days since I was there with family for the BTS concert in Arlington. The staff was nice and friendly. Our room was clean so I have nothing to complain about. If we are ever in the area I would definitely stay here again

Property was clean and well maintained by the staff. They really seem to care about their upkeep of the property. Outdoor pool was great. Well lit and just off the highway Minor issue and notified the property about it.

The rooms are large, and clean with comfortable beds. Air conditioning works well and is fairly quiet. The staff are kind and helpful. Walmart is a short walk away. Red Lobster is adjacent to the property. There is a free airport shuttle. Breakfast is delicious with a variety of choices.

Location Front desk told me that people who booked through third party are having difficulty connecting to WiFi. He gave me a number to call customer service and they did not understand what I was talking about. The front desk had told me that it had been happening but customer service was unaware. There was no potion to pay for the internet. It just kept saying that my name and room number did not match. I had to sign up for ihg rewards to even connect. I was offered points but I declined because I will never stay in another ihg hotel again.

So clean! Super helpful staff. The room looked brand new. All lamps and outlets worked. Great tv with hbo and others. Comfortable and great fitness room in excellent condition.

It's a great place to stay overnight before flying out the next morning. Location is great, has good breakfasts, and has shuttle service to the airport.

Young lady at front desk was professional courteous and greeted us with smiles and waves. Breakfast buffet surpassed expectations - far better than SpringHill at Avondale

The location was great. We went to several attractions and the drive time was 30 minutes or less. The staff was very nice and the place was clean. Snacks were available at the front desk. The only criticism I would make would be the breakfasts. They didn't vary the offerings. The omelettes were like eating tasteless styrofoam and bacon was not served the days I was there. The oatmeal was poorly prepared and like the gruel they served Oliver Twist.

I stayed because I had a flight out in the morning and back the next day I thought it was ridiculous that this property doesn’t have a by the day airport parking fee it cost me 75$ from parking one night and then the shuttle to airport didn’t start till 6am and I had a 7 am flight so even though I payed 75 for parking I had to uber to airport total rip off will never stay here again

Room lighting was great. Rooms nice and spacious. Staff was excellent to deal with.

Also, their breakfast was good. I really liked the hot cinnamon rolls. Their omelettes and other options were plentiful and good.

After our flight got cancelled we needed a shower and clean room! Having a shuttle pick us up and take us back for next day flight was amazing and drivers were excellent!

I phoned the hotel to pick up at the airport on arrival .We waited the hotel shuttle for 1 hour. So we had to take a taxi to the hotel for 41$.

My stay at this particular Holiday Inn Express was adequate. I will not be staying there again.

Worst experience in many months, I requested quite room in silent are. I get room next to lift. I asked reception staff for some support - all I was told was your booking was via 3rd party so we do not care about your requests. I asked to talk with manager - I was ignored. Breakfast even for US standards was very poor. Rooms with no sound insulation. Single glass windows where I could hear cars from highway which was 100-150m away. I will never again book my room there. I will not mention that there was no drinking water in the room.

But from picking up at the airport, everything went seamless. Staff were friendly. The breakfast is something so enjoyable, especially the spread. Real Value for money 👍. It is a safe environment situated in an excellent location with Walmart and other shopping within 5 minutes drive. The room had everything we needed. The taxi service that’s on call is so helpful for people visiting new. The hotel lets you order your lunch or dinner from outside. They have the option of frozen pizza and many other stuff that you can buy from the reception and heat in the microwave. The room had a nice view, air conditioning and beautiful ambience. The shower head was old though. It can be replaced. Otherwise, the whole stay was so comfortable and memorable. Would gladly recommend to anyone. .

The staff is superb, they went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. In my opinion, the bed was very comfortable (but that is a matter of personal taste). I travel to the DFW area frequently, and I typically stay in a different hotel each time due to feeling like I can "do better" at my preferred price point for stays in the area. However, this is a hotel I would stay at again when I need to be close to the airport and I believe the price point for the rooms is a good value.

Clearly a renovated facility. The upgrades were well done. Good room for the price.

We stayed here for a quick sleep before an early flight out. We arrived about 9:30pm and After check in we went to our room opened the door and the room was already occupied. They yelled we quickly closed the door but that was a terrible experience.

The only think I didn’t like that it was to noise you could here all noise that your customers were coming and going in the middle of the night. But other then that it was good place to stay.

Desk attendant did not activate extra key properly on multiple occasions. Otherwise room was perfect for our needs. Love that sink and mirror area were separate from shower and toilet area!

This hotel has completely lost its value for money. The quality of the rooms, service, and overall experience no longer justifies the high prices. Disappointing to see such a decline—I won’t be returning unless there are significant improvements.

The lights are too bright & No dim lights. The bathroom is too noisy with the exhaust. Problem with the toilet. Water won’t go down & call for help. Staff are friendly

If you're in Dallas and your flight gets cancelled, staying here is a great option. The shuttles are regular, roomy, and spotless. The rooms are well kept up and have some nice touches- a chaise longue, a bathtub that fills, a mini fridge and Keurig, This Holiday Inn Express is near some restaurants and shops. The cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms are next level. There is a well stocked, fresh, and varied complimentary breakfast. The biscuits were the best I have ever had anywhere.

Just the pool section make it more private . A lot of people that were not in the hotel were coming inside the pool and smoking weed .. I had kids with me so after that smell I had to removed them from the pool and taken to the room .

May be it is not for all, but the bathroom shower was les than 5.8, in my case I am 6.3 tall, so it is not nice. The last day they keys are being programmed to stop working at 10 am,.so if you want to get into your room after that time you need to go frontdesk, one elevator stop working at 11 we almost stayed inside. It was a little noisy, maybe because we were in the middle of the building
