Comfort Suites DFW Airport

Towels and sheets were dirty. This hotel needs an upgrade. It is out dated and they don’t clean well enough. The shower was brown and even light switches had caked up dirt. This was not a comfortable stay. There was a phone in the bathroom. Not that I used it but it was filthy. This stay was stressful and uninviting. The staff was rude. Instead of saying a simple hello the guy said “Yea”. It was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in EVER! It smelled. The airport shuttle smelled and was not air conditioned in 105 degree weather. Do not stay here even Priced at $50 its not worth it!

The room was spacious and clean. It was quieter at night than I thought being close to the airport which was good. Microwave and fridge worked well. Staff was accommodating. The breakfast was a full breakfast. Parking was easy and no issues. Airport transport left on time. Definitely recommend.

There is an advertised shuttle that is supposed to pick you up but after waiting 40 minutes it didn’t show. When you call the front desk they will just say “it will be there in 25 minutes.” We called three times and were told this same answer “25 minutes.” Hotel smelled although it was clean, probably because it has old carpet. Breakfast was ok. I feel like we paid more than we should have for something like this.

I smoke, so I go outside in the evenings and sit in my vehicle once or twice before bed. While I was out there I felt *extremely* unsafe--there were two different men walking circles around the building. One was talking to himself and making odd gestures. He started staring me down on the second of 4 trips. I went inside FAST!!! When you walk into the lobby, you are just about knocked over with the overwhelming floral scent of whatever air freshener they are using. It was very overwhelming. The whole hotel has had a bad paint job inside. On first glance it looks okay, but then you notice that it was just too thick and sloppy--paint on hinges, paint bleed from the door jambs to the walls, etc. That's not a deal-killer, it just adds to an overall sense of "I don't care" attitude about maintenance. The swimming pool was WAY over-chlorinated. Yes, the chlorine is there to kill germs but there are testing strips to make sure that the levels are correct. The entire pool area is extremely cramped. I wouldn't put more than 10 people out there at a time. Overall, I would not advise anyone to stay more than 1 night and I would definitely not advise ladies to stay by themselves unless they know how to possibly defend themselves if need be.

I unfortunately spent less than 6 hours at the hotel. The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. It would have been helpful to have a QR code or pamphlet in the room to share what was available. Even though I was given the WiFi password, for whatever reason it didn’t connect to the the internet. The wait at the airport for the shuttle to pick up was something to be desired. There were several of us waiting and many of us called at least twice trying to get an ETA. Apparently there is only one van that makes the rounds and pick ups for about 6/7 properties. I didn’t get to use the amenities and thus my mid rating.

The perk is you can leave your car for a small fee and the complimentary airport shuttle. Other than that I don’t recommend.

Good location, staff was kind I enjoyed the pool the whole stay.

I didn’t like that I wasn’t told that I had to reserve parking so I could shuttle to the airport and once I got there they told me I could park there because they were running out of parking so I had to pay for another place to park when my plans was to leave my car there and take a shuttle to the airport because I was traveling with my two year old.

VERY clean rooms and staff was very friendly. 10 mins after checking in front desk called our room to ask if we needed anything and to ask if our room met our satisfaction. Definitely recommend!

Waited 90 minutes for the advertised shuttle from airport to property. Had to take a $28 taxi. Manager told me I was waiting in wrong place ....I was in the exact place and saw other properties' vans pass by several times. I was given a 10 dollar discount for room. Not good enough. Don't call yourself an airport property if you aren't going to provide reliable airport pickup service

Hotel seemed dated and in need of update. Beds were very comfortable, but carpet was dingy. Surface cleaning was great, but this seemed old and faded, stained or worn. Room was very spacious with a living room space which was nice with traveling for kids. For what we used it for…a night to stay before an early flight the next day, it was fine, but not somewhere I’d want to stay longer.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool was clean and wonderful on a hot day, but the whirlpool wasn’t heated. The breakfast was the pretty standard scrambled eggs, sausage patties, make-your-own waffles, breads, muffins, yogurts, cereals & juices. Friendly and close to the airport. Only downside is that there are no restaurants within walking distance, so we had to Uber for other meals.

Staff was very friendly, room was clean - but looks dingy & outdated. It took a while for our a/c to cool the room, but it was a larger suit with 2 bedrooms. Pool area was very small, breakfast was average continental breakfast-waffles, eggs, and sausage.

Not within walking distance for food or shopping of any kind. We were hungry, had to order via Uber Eats, waited till 11pm to get our food, so due to early flight, had to skip morning shower to get enough sleep.

Booked this hotel room after a flight delay caused us to miss our connecting flight. I didn't want to stand in line to argue with the airline about a voucher, so we booked this hotel. Good price for 2 rooms at the last minute. Several other passengers of the airline ended up with vouchers to this hotel. Airport shuttle was nice to have, but tough to wait for. You have to go to lower level of DFW and wait for a white van that goes to the set of hotels you are going to. Our van dropped off at 3 different hotels before ours. We ended up getting an Uber back to the airport the next day. Honestly, the shuttle was the worst part of our trip. Check in went smoothly. Very close to airport. They switched our room when the AC didn't work well in the first room promptly and without complaint. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub looked nice, but we didn't get to use them because we got the hotel after they closed and we had to leave the next morning to go back to the airport. They are outside if you wanted to get some sun and had time to use them. Gym looked nice. Our room had a full sofa in the front area with the bathroom in the middle and the bedroom in the back. If you were traveling with small children, it would be very easy to share a room and still have privacy. Only a 12 minute ride back to DFW which made it very convenient.

Comfort Inn & Suites at DFW is a typical Indian Family run hotel. Nothing is remodeled since they took over a hotel built in the 1980’s. The carpet smells. The furniture is old. The walls reek of times when lodgers smoked in rooms. No water pressure in sink or shower. A/C was centrally controlled at 78 degrees in rooms. Cooler in hallway. Breakfast was poverty level. Bed was comfortable. At one point someone was given a key to our room and tried to enter.

Although the front desk staff were very helpful, the accommodations, in my opinion were awful. We had two rooms on the third floor which had cathedral ceilings which were questionable how recently the higher ledges had been cleaned. The sheets were paper thin enough to see through them to the mattress topper. There were no comforters just a blanket covering the sheets. The AC vent was opposite the bed and blew directly on us and we questioned whether the vents had been cleaned and/or filters replaced so breathing the direct air was worrisome. The carpets were old so I wore socks. When I took them off, they were plenty dirty. My mom and I went to get breakfast and while there I had to go to the ladies room. When I returned, I was locked out of the breakfast area with my elderly mom still inside. They PROMPTLY close the doors at 9:30am SHARP. The woman in the breakfast area was quick to replace food but never wiped down a chair nor table. She didn't seem to want to be there at all. The elevator - well, there is just ONE for three floors. And it is SLOW and small. We were going to stay there on the way back out-of-town but cancelled the reservation. I will not return.

Most of the staff was nice and patient. Breakfast was good with the waffles. Loved our room! Pool had missing tiles and the chemicals were STRONG! There was only one option for meat - sausage. I’m a bacon girl but it’s fine. Only 2 flavors of yogurt- peach and red raspberry, is that normal? Idk. When we checked in the night we got in to Dallas, the chick at the front desk wasn’t the most patient or friendliest, but everyone after her was. On the night before we left, I had asked housekeeping if I could get 2 towels- because housekeeping never came by, and the person told me no. I said okayyyy well can I get one? And she handed me a towel… that was odd. Should I have asked front desk instead? Idk. Hotel is outdated for sure. Oh! There was water on the floor in the fitness center and just seemed like an after thought. But once a guest let staff know about the water, they did handle the issue efficiently.

The room was okay. They told us at first they didn't Have extra pillows for the fold out bed but he found one. The bathroom door in our room didn't lock. The bedding had stains. Hot tub was murky and dirty. Pool was not very well maintained. Breakfast was okay but not many options.

I don't like giving negative reviews, but.. Had to move rooms to get the room I reserved and paid for, no problem. In the second room, one of the TV's was damaged, and a car alarm went off literally all night underneath our window. Called the front desk multiple times, but nothing was done about it, even at our request to let the police handle it. The next morning, switched room yet again, to opposite side of the building to avoid the car alarm. Third room was fine, but found a water bug/roach in the hallway, which made my skin crawl. Our granddaughter refused to use the pull-out mattress in either room, as they didn't look like they had ever been cleaned. Also, no extra linens were provided in the rooms for the pull-outs. I'm sure we could have asked at the front desk, but fortunately had brought our own. Finally, the hot tub was pool temperature, and the water in the hot tub was gray. The pool had debris including not just nature, but human hair, fake nails, etc, evidencing that it is not cleaned regularly, and we never saw it cleaned during our 3-night stay. Wish I could say better things about this hotel, but we will never stay here again.

Clean 👍👍 AC worked great breakfast was average. Hot tub was luke warm should be hot tiles missing off the outside of it. There were pieces of the plaster from the missing tile on the bottom of the pool several people had small cuts on their feet from it. Our room was really nice for the price the sofa bed was in it's own room with a 2nd TV. Me my wife 2 teenagers and my 5 year old granddaughter had plenty of room.

The front desk manager was very helpful. The air-conditioning was broken in my first room and he quickly switched me to another room. The hotel is very close to the airport, which is why I chose it - great for a one night stay to accommodate a very early morning flight.

Shuttle took forever, but it was free so beggars can't be choosers. Location was nice, clean, and staff was friendly. They don't clean your room unless you ask the day before, and even when I asked for stuff the same day, I did not get it. Not sure if they forgot or just didn't bother to tell me they couldn't. Nice spot in the middle of main cities.

Nothing!! The nasty pool, the bed mattress was old and dirty. Bed was lumpy and the mattress looked filthy. Shuttle took 30 mins to pickup from airport.

THE BREAKFAST WS GOOD. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN. THE STAFF KEPT TO THEMSELVES THEY WERE NOT RUDE BUT NOT FRIENDLY EITHER. WE SIGNED UP FOR AN AIRPORT SHUTTLE AND WAITED IN THE LOBBY WITH 15 OTHER PEOPLE FOR WHAT SEEMED LIKE FOREVER - FOR IT TO NEVER SHOW UP. WE HAD TO DRIVE OUR PERSONAL VEHICLE WHERE OTHERS TOOK CABS. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THAT AS THAT WAS THE MAIN REASON WE BOOKED AT THIS HOTEL.

I liked everything

So the room was good but the bed was worn, and there was a bee hive on the patio, and my husband was stung. I rented the room specifically for the patio. Well that took that it looked like at some point they tried to fix it with spray foam, that’s not going to work, they will eat through that! Eating to make sure he’s not allergic!!

The ceiling windows were very unique. Waking up to natural sunlight beaming down into the room was so pleasant waking up too. I love natural lighting.

Excellent customer service. We had a small issue with our room, and the front desk staff resolved it immediately. It’s nice to see a team that genuinely cares about guest satisfaction.

Good location near DFW Airport. The room was clean and the Wi-Fi worked well. The only downside was some noise from the nearby freeway, but it wasn’t enough to ruin the stay.

I was impressed by how large the suite was. Having a separate sitting area made the stay much more comfortable. Check-in was quick, and the airport shuttle made traveling stress-free.

The hotel offered great value for the price. The bed was comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast had enough options to start the day. The building is a little dated, but everything worked well and the room was clean.

Stayed here for one night before an early flight. The room was spacious, clean, and surprisingly quiet despite being close to the airport. The shuttle service was on time, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again.

Hotel was clean and very comfortable however guys at the front desk were not very pleasant. Didn’t explain what time breakfast was, didn’t direct me to my room. They just handed me my room key which when I looked had time of breakfast. Breakfast was ok just had scrambled eggs, waffles, 3 different cereal’s, toast and yogurt how ever no meat. Going to stay again to see if it was just a fluke

If planning on using pull out bed make sure to ask for sheets prior to check in…. There wasn’t any for ours helad to ask staff at desk for some who was super polite about it!

They really need to figure their shuttle situation out. It is a small van shared with several other hotels and fills up very quickly. I had to wait for about an hour and a half at midnight for pick up after two vans were already full. When I stayed here the hotel had no hot water and they didn't really do anything about it. Bedding was very clean but cup rings on bedside tables and such shows that they could be better about wiping down. Don't get a room with a balcony if you can help it, they face the interstate and are incredibly loud from the traffic all night.

We loved the small balcony in our room The staff kind of seemed like we were bothering them when we needed something and the tv was complicated to switch inputs. Also the walls were very thin and you could hear everything down the hallway
