Friendly and clean - good coffee!

I will say that the hotel staff were consistently friendly and helpful which I really appreciated. The room itself was also surprisingly large and spacious with two TVs which was a nice bonus. Unfortunately, the Netflix button on the remote didn’t work and I wasn’t able to cast anything from my phone to the TV. Cleanliness was questionable. I’m from Texas and already deal with seasonal allergies, but something about the room seemed to make me feel even stuffier than usual. The AC was also inconsistent. It would get extremely cold, then suddenly become very hot in the room. The AC unit itself also had an unpleasant smell. Breakfast being included was a nice perk, although the options were fairly average. The hotel does have amenities like a gym and pool which I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use, but it was nice to have those options available. Overall, I’d say this hotel is fine if you’re looking for something reasonably priced and just need a place to stay, but I wouldn’t necessarily choose it based on the high ratings alone.

The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were all friendly and as I checked in, there were cookies and mints available at the check in desk to enjoy. Plenty of parking. The Hurst location is super convenient to many places to eat, gas stations, and right across the street from the convention center without hearing too much of the noise from the highway. The breakfast area was very clean and orderly and the food decent for being an included amenity. Overall, I really enjoyed this property!

Everything was amazing except the elevators they need to be worked on or evaluated. Staff was amazing hôtel is great.

Hallway on 4th floor was at least 90 degrees. Felt like the heater was on. Also we had an accessible room and the bathroom was very accessible but there was not a towel rack to put the linens on so housekeeping put them on the counter top & grab bars

Great experience! We felt safe and genuinely comfortable. The breakfast presentation was done so nicely. The gal who facilitated the breakfast time, day after day, was polite and thoughtful.

Nice clean place

The young man at the registration desk was very attentive and helpful. We asked for a room close to the pool for my granddaughter and he found us one. The pool door would not open, and he assisted us. He also helped get the shower turned on for us. The cookies at registration were really good. The room was clean and comfrotable. We had 2 TV's which worked well since our granddaughter was with us. We did have some issues with the TV controllers but worked it out. The lavatory drain stopper did not work correctly and it got stuck in the closed position. I had to pry it up for the sink to drain. The inside area was clean and well kept but the outside had accumalated debris all around. Breakfast was good but not great.

Leaking tub spout, not enough lights in the room. The one tall lamp kept blinking. Notified the front desk but no one came to fix.

The room was very comfortable. I had great night's sleep, but the breakfast the next morning was simply the best!! The lady who worked the breakfast was phenomenal. Her level of service and attentiveness to the guest was on par with 5 star luxury.

clean, ac in room was great, much better then other rooms, no tv guide(Channel) so no way to look up what to watch and changing channels quite difficult with no instructions. great variety with breakfast, speedy check in and check out.

Convenience

Although room was clean and water pressure in shower great, the elevator was out all weekend and there did not seem to be a sense of urgency to get it back in operation. Overheard patrons saying it had been alternating between working and not before finally giving out completely. This speaks volumes to me about its maintenance. Also the smart tv Netflix operation was not activated. And the tvs themselves were preset at a volume that couldn’t be adjusted. This often led to not being able to hear it well. This was most annoying. This place is too quirky to recommend or return.

They put my father on the 3rd floor as a handicapped (wheelchair) person and the elevators went down. My family got stuck on said elevator. They fixed it and then broke down again. Such an inconvenience. The GM was awesome and refunded our stay and put us in the partner hotel who’s elevator also went down. Other than that it was an okay stay just an inconvenience

Mrs. Pamela the front desk clerk was outstanding. Quick check in and was very helpful with any questions or concerns we had. Very good location, close to alot of eateries. The hotel itself was clean and quiet and break was a plus. Would highly recommend.

Everything seemed designed to please the customers to the pleasant feeling: interior design is modern, HVAC system is efficient and particularly quiet to the hearing, parking is convenient and ample, breakfast is complete and excellent including oatmeal mixed with sausage, pancake, egg wrap, very crispy bacon pleasing even the tough tastes, yogurt, milk, good coffee machines, fruits, and Wifi is convenient.

The lady who checked us in was super nice! I booked a room online, but because of the storms a lot of workers were in from out of town so they ran out of the rooms I booked. I was upgraded to a suit! My daughter also raved about breakfast! Everything was great!

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. My flight arrived early in the morning, and they were kind enough to let me check in a bit ahead of schedule, which I truly appreciated. Special shoutout to Valerie for going above and beyond to make my stay smooth and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!

Really liked the property except the light was out in the shower when we arrived but maintenance fixed right away. Didn’t find out until morning that the coffee maker wasn’t working.

Clean room

During our stay the property was currently under renovation. There was no lobby to check in to, instead we checked in at what seemed like their business center. Also, upon checking in we were notified that breakfast was located at the Hampton Inn next door due to the ongoing renovation. Our room was nice and spacious, and had already been mostly renovated except for the shower.

Excellent place to stay in a great location. They have courteous staff, spacious and clean rooms, and good breakfast options. I will stay here again!

They did not breakfast on site due to construction. I book base of 2 things - nice area/location and breakfast being a part of the stay. When I booked nowhere was it listed that the hotel did not have breakfast or under construction. I’ll have to think long and hard about staying again at a Holiday Inn hotel. Not happy.

Room was very good. A slight smell when we first came in. Room was spotless and bathroom was great. Breakfast was outstanding. Location is great. I cannot say enough about the lady who did our breakfast. She is kind and sweet and takes a lot of care of everyone.

Everything was excellent, the only improvement can be that they can install on their tv’s Netflix or ability to connect from the devices with the tvs in the room so people would be able to watch some tv shows they would like.

The staff was friendly. Room was clean. Food wasn't great. Someone entered my room while I was out and left the tv in the living area on, the ac turned down to 66 degrees and on, and my room smelled like cigarette smoke.

The staff was very accommodating when we needed to switch rooms with a working mini fridge. We had medication that needed to be refrigerated.

The entire experience from arriving to checking out and everything in between. The room was spacious, the restroom was spotless and the housekeeping was amazing - the first time ever that I didn’t need to request more towels. I am very satisfied with my stay. I definitely will be staying anytime I’m in town and will be recommending to friends and family!
