Staybridge Suites IAH Airport East by IHG

I use this Staybridge whenever I transit the US as an over night stop. I have been doing this for almost a decade now. Clean and quiet rooms, comfy beds, staff extremely helpful and pleasant, decent breakfast; and they have always let me crash in the hotel lounge if I have a late flight, which is a lot more comfortable than the airport I assure you!

This place is great! I stayed in a one bedroom king suite and it was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. I was on the first floor and had zero issues with noise coming from within or outside the hotel. I explored the laundry room, gym, and pool—all were very nice. I would absolutely stay here again!

This was a great place to stay! The room was very spacious and looked nice . It had a kitchenette, a living room, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was average but clean and stocked. The hotel shuttle was nice to take to the nearby eateries and the mall. They also pick you up which is quite convenient. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the airport pick up was about 50 minutes and the hotel is only 10 minutes away at most. Other than that, I loved the hotel!

We had some sugar ants, but that was the worst of it. The room was clean and it felt clean when we checked in. We would go back and stay here again if we come back to Houston.

Big room with kitchenette. Good shower. Excellent service to and from airport/car rental. Free self laundry. Breakfast finished already 9:30 and then the staff seemed to take over the breakfast. When I was in the gym there was a constant stream of staff going back and forth to the laundry room.

Spent almost $150 for taxi to hotel, when I got there was told my card was declined (no reason for that and I was never notified so not sure what that was about) so my reservation was cancelled. A nice manager had sympathy on me so asked me if I would consider a suite that was being repaired so I got a nicer room at the same price but for a second I despaired because I was soooo exhausted. All in all, a great stay!

Spacious suite, very pleasant staff, clean, comfortable bed. Weak water pressure in shower. Had problem contacting property by mobile - calls either dropped out or went to voicemail. This was extremely frustrating when trying to arrange a shuttle. Found out this happens when mobile has a foreign number. Needs to be addressed.

Cathy at the front desk is amazing. Very helpful and a pleasure to talk to. The accommodations were a great value and the location was convenient.

The staff wasn’t welcoming. No cleaning staff on the weekend. The pool very nice. The breakfast was great love the yogurt bar.

This is a very good and comfortable option where all the staff are helpful and friendly. We really felt very comfortable and welcome by everybody.

Stayed for one night. The property isn’t that close to the airport compared to other hotels but their shuttle service was prompt and reliable so I really appreciated that. The hotel itself seemed dated and my room furniture had scuffs and looked dated. The bed was higher up rhan a usual hotel bed night but it was very comfortable. The breakfast was nice. They had 2 nice coffee machines and sausages and scrambles eggs. I think it was a good value even though it was further away from the airport.

The hotel was very clean and all the workers were so professional and friendly. I felt welcome the moment I walked through the doors. The suite was clean, home away from home, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the variety of food was excellent. I really enjoyed the fact of how quiet the hotel was at night, and the hotel is close to the freeway, and variety of different restaurants. I will visit again!!! N/A

One night layover. Free shuttle service from airport we called when we arrived. Front desk gentleman was very helpful and friendly. Shuttle bus man also lovely. Rooms were fine and clean. Shuttle bus even dropped us later at a restaurant which was great. Next day we had an early start leaving around 0630 which was the first shuttle to airport but we're told that the lady was stuck in traffic and then had to have her coffee so didnt know exactly when we would get a transfer. We got an uber Breakfast started at 0730 so we could get anything before leaving which was a pity. Its close to airport so I am sure we are not the only ones with early flights ,it would have been nice to have earlier breakfast times.

Breakfast was fresh each morning and dutifully attended to. The staff were very attentive to each guests needs.

I had a great stay! The staff is very warm and friendly especially Kelvin, the front desk supervisor, and the very kind woman that helps with breakfast. I felt very welcomed. I didn't know what to expect as hotels advertise items but sometimes it's just a few here and there so I always bring extra. There was a jar of powdered cream packets and a jar of sugar, splenda in the kitchen cabinet. (Hotel also has 24-hour access to coffee in the lobby). Dove hand soap and lotion dispensers at the sink near the bathroom (in the room). Dove product dispensers in the shower. I could have packed less toiletries. Very nice hotel and it was clean so happy about that.

Room was very clean, with a nice balcony. The complimentary breakfast, especially the yogurt bar and fresh coffee, was outstanding. The pool was clean & nice as well! The location was convenient with plenty of nearby stores and restaurants, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Only small downside was the pull out couch being a TWIN SIZE (this is not mentioned in details). It was tight for two adults.

This property was nice. Was here only for an overnight stay. The only negative thing I can say is the bedding didn’t smell fresh. Wasn’t anything to complain about again was only there for a night. I would definitely recommend it.

The room was very spacious and clean. The night we stayed, they had a happy hour where lite bites, wine, and beer were provided. The staff was lovely and very accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend.

We got stuck in Houston for 3 night due to Winter Storm Fern so we stayed here. Clean and safe rooms with excellent staff. Not much to do within walking distance especially in the cold which didn’t bother us as we hired a car. We would defiantly stay again if we ever had another big lay over.

Perfect location for IAH travel

This is a new hotel- but for 2 days no one came in to clean .. staff at the front desk were ok.. but the one with the breakfast was wonderful she made sure everyone knows where and what food is being served. The bed was the best!

Room was super clean as well as the hotel itself. Breakfast is amazing and all the staff was friendly. Airport shuttle is a big plus. Also the shuttle will take you to any destination within 5 miles of hotel.

Breakfast options were plenty, all their staff were friendly, they had a shuttle available to the airport, we decided to leave before our booked time and they were happy to accommodate. Also the area of the hotel is quiet so there is absolutely no noise. We only stayed one night, maybe I'll be back if we can justify the washroom design.

This place seems popular with traveling nurses likely due to. It’s free shuttle and proximity to the airport. I arrived late and found the staff to be generally apathetic. I suppose that this price you shouldn’t expect much in the way of service.

A spotlessly clean and quiet hotel close to the airport. When we arrived, we called the phone number provided and arranged for the hotel shuttle to pick us up. Note however, it’s not a 24 hour service, so remember that for when your plane gets in. For us though, the timing was perfect. The driver told us that there was a free dinner offered to guests that night which was great for us not having to worry about where to get something to eat after such a long overseas flight. There are some eating places around the area though. The hotel shuttle also can take you to places within a few miles of the hotel also if required. The room itself was clean and tidy, with a small kitchenette. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. Friendly staff. Breakfast was provided with good variety. We would stay here again if in Houston.

I did not tried breakfast but it seemed good. The room was great with all I needed. Dishwasher was out of order, and although I do not need it, the signage on it was disturbing. Location great. Airport shuttle very inefficient. 45 minutes to get me at the airport.

Also, for some reason, this hotel doesn't answer messages via the Hotels.com app. You need to call them if you have questions.

The Check In Person was lacking in Customer Service. He took 2 phone calls leaving us standing without an excuse me, be right with you or anything. The hotel is a good location for early flights out with several park and fly options.

I had an excellent experience at the Staybridge Suites IAH Airport East. When I called for the shuttle from the airport, it arrived within five minutes, and the driver was exceptionally friendly and helped me with my bags. Check-in was quick and efficient, and my suite was spacious, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the free WiFi and full kitchen — it’s not often you get a proper fridge and freezer in a hotel room, and for anyone traveling with a medication cooler that needs refrigeration as well as a freezer, that’s a huge plus. The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety, including several cooked options, and everything was fresh and well presented. Overall, it was great value for the price. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone needing a comfortable stay near the airport.

The main problem was that someone had smoked in the room prior to our stay. They sprayed something to try and get rid of the smell, but it didn't do the job and it was difficult to breath and to sleep since I have athsma. When I told the staff about the problem the next morning, no apology was offeree, they simply stated that they would let maintenance know about it.

This place was spectacular! ... rooms were very clean and smelled nice. Great quality products and I love how the full kitchen is stocked to make you feel like you are in your own kitchen with pots, pans, silverware, etc. I will definitely be returning.

I really like the hotel especially the receptionist when we came back that night we were exhausted tired and ready to go to bed when we got there we tried to use our key and it wouldn't work I had to go down several times to see what was going on to finally be receptionist came up with me to check to see what was going on with the door and she realized the battery needed to be replaced and she contact maintenance while waiting she was very nice and courteous to me even though my husband was frustrated because he was hot tired and ready to go to bed but she comforted us to make us know that everything was going to be okay she was very nice very kind I just want to say thank you for all that.

The rooms were not clean. They would nor provide extra towels unless we give them the used towels to them.

This was the scariest stay I ever had in Houston!!! I don’t know who gave this hotel an Excellent rating, but it’s far from it. It smells, outdated, the shower floors are broken and busted up. The pool looked and smelled suspicious. The shuttle doesn’t work on time. They block in certain ways to get into the property at night- so weird. Find another hotel. The only plus was *nothing- I wish I could get my money and my time back.

The check in was easy, parking was right out front, our room was nice, comfortable, and had a lot of storage space, and utensils for the kitchen. My only complaints are that we were told there would be no housekeeping because it was the weekend, and when we first arrived it smelled like sewage outside and there were ants all over the ground. Also the two eyes on the electric stovetop were too small to fit more than one pan that the hotel provided on there at the same time, which made it take longer to prepare food. I thought there would at least be an airfryer oven to compensate for no regular oven.
