Reviews
The hotel's location near the NRG Stadium is highly praised, and the staff is generally described as friendly and helpful. However, many guests express dissatisfaction with the outdated facilities, lack of amenities such as microwaves and refrigerators, and issues with cleanliness and maintenance.

Room was good and front desk staff was friendly. Had an issue with opening the room door but the young lady at the the desk quickly fixed the problem. Will stay again in the future. It's maybe a 5min walk to Reliant Stadium. Perfect location.

This hotel is in a great location for MD ANDERSON patients. It was a terrific upgrade and well appreciated. The hotel does need updating but is very clean. Has a slight musty smell throughout. The bar/restaurant has very limited variety of food and not very tasty. Would not recommend eating here. Bar tender was very nice. Front desk personnel were very nice and receptive. Would stay here again.

The room was clean 1202, although the hotel has a smell of humidity. The personnel is very helpful and professional.

After I pointed this out, they told me they would move us to another room that had a refrigerator. We packed all of our belongings and moved, only to find that the new room also had no refrigerator or microwave. To make matters worse, the second room was even smaller and very yycramped for our family of four. When I called the front desk again, they simply apologized and said that was all they had available. It was very frustrating to go through the inconvenience of moving rooms for no reason On top of that, housekeeping never refreshed our room during our stay.We stayed for several nights, but no one came to clean the room or replace our towels. Overall, the experience was disappointing due to the inconsistent information from the staff, poor communication, and lack of basic housekeeping service. I would not choose to stay here again.

The room was spacious and the bathroom was great for elderly people safety. Room clean and the beds very comfortable.

The property can be maintained better.

I booked through Hotels.com because I was traveling for business on a strict budget. After paying for my room, I was told I had to pay an additional $100 for incidentals. My issue wasn’t the deposit itself—it was that it wasn’t disclosed during booking. When I politely said guests should be notified beforehand, the front desk employee coldly replied, “That’s a third-party app. We can add whatever we want after. Do you want the room or not?” That response set the tone for my stay. I’m diabetic and need to refrigerate my medication. My room had no refrigerator, despite there being an empty space where one should have been. The hotel showed no willingness to help with this legitimate medical need. The listing also claims the hotel has been refurbished and updated. That was not my experience. The property looks decades old, with heavily worn furniture, fixtures, and finishes throughout. The worst part came that night. After showering, I was relaxing on the bed when I saw a large rat eating my dinner leftovers. With the lights on, it boldly tore open the packaging and wasn’t afraid of people. It was so fat it struggled to run away. Poor customer service, misleading advertising, no concern for medical accommodations, and rodents in the room made this one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. I cannot recommend staying here.

the rooms looked very old and smelled of smoke, the ceiling in the bathroom leaked, and it looks molded, there was mildew on the windows, there were roaches in the first room they had us in. The flooring was stained and disgusting, there is also an old motel part in the back that looks like it has never been updated. if you do stay there, stay in the towers, but I would highly suggest you don't stay here at all
- 2/5
Staff were very helpful and friendly however the property was outdated poorly maintained and nothing like the pictures. Plaster coming off the ceiling, old dirty carpet ripped at various areas including main hallways that everyone can see. Had to switch the first room due to loud ac once turned on the vibration was unbearable. I was there for a couple of days for the fifa game next store due to the proximity to the stadium I sucked it up but both rooms we got were rough.

Another surprise was the complete lack of room service. The booking indicated that breakfast was included, but upon arrival at the breakfast area the following day, I was told it wasn’t. Instead, they charged $16.99 for a choice of coffee or orange juice and a very underwhelming buffet that was far from worth the price. I also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. While the prices were inexpensive, the food and overall experience reflected that. Even the condiments were the small individual packets you’d expect at a fast-food restaurant rather than standard table condiments, which added to the budget feel. And plastic silverware! The air conditioner was incredibly loud, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The only real positive is the location. It’s within walking distance of the stadium, which makes it very convenient for attending games. Unfortunately, that convenience wasn’t enough to make up for the outdated facilities, lack of basic amenities, and disappointing overall experience, especially compared to the cost I paid for this stay! I would not choose to stay here again.

There was a very weird water damage smell that hits you as soon as you enter the lobby that was very off putting. The hotel is old and needs renovation, especially the bathrooms. The staff was very helpful and was ready to assist always.

Awesome place!

Loved the fact that was walking distance to the stadium.

Booked this hotel to spend the night after a late arrival on Albany airport before proceeding to my trip deep in upstate NY. Property is older but clean and well maintained. They have a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel but when I arrived it wasn't there so I needed to book an Uber. Breakfast was a nice surprise, while not included in the reservation price it was plenty and tasty.

Don't stay in this hotel. They charged for the parking lot even though the parking is free!! Terrible!!

Rooms were big and spacious. Clean, lots of towels. Front lobby has a weird smell but very beautiful furniture and lots of snacks and drinks to choose from.

Obviously if you are wa t to go walking to the stadium this is the best option otherwise this is basically a shthle

I stayed at this hotel recently and was disappointed by its overall condition. The property is very dated and appears to be in need of a complete renovation. The pool looked unclean, which made it uninviting to use. The beds are old and noisy, creaking whenever you turn over, making it difficult to get a comfortable night’s sleep. The curtains appeared to be falling off their tracks, and the carpet in the room had numerous stains, giving the room an unkempt appearance. Overall, the hotel does not meet the standards I expected, and significant updates and maintenance are needed to improve the guest experience.
- 4/5
Check in was smooth and staff processed check out quickly. Didn’t use bar or restaurants but they looked nice. Remote for TV was ‘temperamental’ when adjusting volume or channel switching. Couldn’t open windows which may be a safety feature? Brilliant location for World Cup venue.
- 3/5
Location was very convenient for us the hotel is dated and the lobby smells like gasoline. No breakfast included.
- 2/5
As soon as you walked in the hotel smell horrible. The rooms are outdated. The ice machine was not working.
- 5/5
Room was clean and the staff was very nice.
- 3.5/5
The check in process is catastrophic, understaffed and it took too long. The line streched around the corner for hours. With so many digital options you would expect better from Wyndham. Also, the moldy smell in the lobby was unbearable, fortunately the room didn't smell that way, but the AC sounded like an old car...

For the World Cup games they should have a better system in all the aspects starting with check in almost three hrs !!!! The night before a game insane!!!! Then the breakfast they only had rwo people serving in the restaurant?? Foe hundreds of people they should take care of their clients with better service
- 1/5
Nichole the bar tender was super nice, as was other staff. We were there on 6/22/26 for world cup came which you would think they'd be prepared for, and it was a disaster. In addition to the poorly managed check-in, my room was very dated and smelled of mildew, plus the AC would not get cold. This property needs a major makeover, and probably new management.
- 2.5/5
Angela at check in was excellent, extremely helpful and pleasant! Numerous times are key didn't work and we were originally booked in a suite which I had not booked, which also had a roach, Angela helped us with our room key and after finding the roach put us in a much cleaner room on the 6th floor. The cockroach in my room. And the mildewy smell as you walk into the hotel.

People are super disrespectful, only good thing was it was very close to the stadium (walking distance) people slamming their hotel doors are 3 in the morning without one though. Terrible staff directions. Overall good ONLY if you’re going to a soccer game at NRG stadium, if not, DO NOT GO!
- 3/5
Clean room and convenient access to NRG Stadium. Front desk is way to small for size of property. Even with all desks running it took almost 2 hours of waiting in line to check in.
- 4.5/5
This hotel is in a great location very close to restaurants and entertainment. The hotel staff is helpful, professional, and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning works great. They have a pool available. There are good restaurants / sports bar inside the hotel available. On days that a special event is taking place at NRG Stadium they have an additional charge for parking even if you are staying in the hotel.

Room was clean and ready. Very outdated and the shower head was strong water. Front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. Parking available on property. Breakfast downstairs had to pay and was Mexican and American offerings. Very convenient location like a 5min walk to Texas stadium for the World Cup.

This hotel needs a major make over! The only thing good about this hotels is its location. Only a 10 minute walk to the NRG Stadium. The lobby had a distinct odor. The elevator had a lot of wear and tear. The rooms are out of date.

Super dirty bugs on bed and walls ,cockroach inside drier bag , horrible smell, spider webs on corners , yes close to stadium but not worth it . No lo recomiendo ni tantito.

The hotel was horrible
- 5/5
Although I was only there for an overnight stay my room was very clean and the hotel was extremely quite and comfortable. Unfortunately I had to leave the hotel quite early and couldn't experience the breakfast I was very pleased with my stay. Since I have to be at MD Anderson often I will definetly be staying at this location every time.
- 4/5
Okay the good, the bad and the ugly...it is an older hotel and that is okay with me...it is next to the highway but we couldn't hear traffic in our room on the 17th floor...the lobby is nice but like every thing it needs an investment in updating it...the room we booked was huge...Jr suite with a living room and bar...the bed was big and the mattress very comfortable...the bathroom is very dated with an odd square tub/ shower combo...the toilet is very very low so if you are handicapped definitely do not choose a regular room...I am in the hospital so my caregived and dog are happy with the hotel...it is close to all the hospitals including MD ANDERSON...The front desk clerk was very helpful today when I needed to extend the reservation without paying the dog fee a second time ($75.00 for length of stay). If this is your honeymoon stay elsewhere. If you are here for medical reasons this hotel checks all the boxes ( my insurance covers $125.00 per night so I have minimal out-of-pocket costs ).

My experience from the week prior was way different than the week before. This visit I was in another building other than building 1. It was horrible! I don’t know if it was due to the raining, but the lobby had a “wet mop” smell the entire stay. The building I stayed in this time was very old and needs significant renovations-especially the bathroom. The room doors in that building did a hard, quick, extremely loud shut upon entry/exiting the room. This made it difficult for me to sleep through the night. Then it was a repeat of the sounds early the next morning. The pleasant parts were still the hotel staff, but unfortunately even their amazing personalities are not enough to make me stay there again for a third time. The first stay in Building 1 made me believe that the other buildings were decent enough and found that they definitely are not.
- 2/5
The shower head broke and the toilet handle didn't work properly. So it was water all over the floor from the shower and the toilet ran all night. They offered to move me because they had no maintenance workers. It was late and I didn't want to have to pack up all our stuff.
- 5/5
Property is older, but it was convenient and not a bad place to stay.

Close to NRG
- 4/5
The location is great if you’re going to an event at NRG. The room was outdated. The ceiling had tiles like an old school building and the dresser had holes like maybe a TV had been mounted to it. If they invested in updating the decor and made some improvements it’d be great.
- 2/5
Of an update.

Good gym
- 2/5
The restaurant was only open a few times during our stay Thursday - Saturday. A large group of us were there for a convention. The staff was nice. The facility needs updating really badly. The bar would be closed randomly as well. Pretty annoying when you fly in and don’t feel like going anywhere bc you have a work event for the convention. The bathrooms were odd, they had acoustic tile ceilings from the 1980s.
- 5/5
Bar was nice parking had plenty and rooms super clean

- 3/5
The parking was easy and secure. We had a hard time getting in our room, the card didn't work on the door that was marked with the room number, our neighbor had to tell us to try the door that wasn't marked because it was a suite. That was the only door that it worked. The room smelled of mold. Other than that it was good.
- 1/5
Blackout curtains were ripped/torn. Bathroom was terrible! Got 4:30 AM wake up call accidently. Not ours! Would never stay there again!
- 3/5
Thankful for very last minute accommodation when our VRBO and host were not accessible, but can't ever remember having to pay 40.00 for parking for each car. Unfortunate and expensive pivots for this one night stay! May have been better off driving the 3+ hours back home.

Hotel could use some updates however it was very convenient to get to the NRG stadium for the Houston Rodeo!!!

Angela at the front desk was the only bright spot in our stay!! The parking attendants were rude and we had a reservation!! It was like we were trying to take advantage of the parking. I showed them our reservation on Expedia and they were still rude. The front desk had two people checking in during a peak time. At one point one had to leave to correct a housekeeping issue which should have been addressed by housekeeping. Our room was down dirty hallways and hard to find. Went to the rodeo and then came back to find we had mold in our bathroom ceiling. Too late to change rooms! Also we called for an extra blanket and they never came. The next morning we went to breakfast off property and came back to check out and the parking attendant was again rude and told us our parking sticker had expired. I was under the impression we had till we checked out to use the parking lot!!! I know you have a captured audience due to being right next to rodeo but I will not be giving you guys any more of my money!
