Towneplace Suites Houston Hobby Airport

Being close to I-45 you hear the racing cars and motorcycles, but the hotel and rooms are very clean, new and great especially for extended stays. And the have a very nice full breakfast setup.

Perfect for a weekend trip. The room was equipped with plenty of helpful things for a trip! Plenty of towels, soaps and complimentary coffee. Breakfast was decent, but hey! Free breakfast is free breakfast, will definitely come back.

The hotel was very convenient close to the airport , we were travelling from Houston to NY but loose our flight so we needed to stay in Houston for one more night , but it worth every penny , there are several restaurants that takes 5 min in an Uber, so we enjoyed the stay, the staff member this young skinny tall gentleman was a 5 start staff member, he was very helpful in everything we asked for , and even got us into a lyft as complementary to take us to the airport, very satisfied and will stay there again not hesitation.

The water never got hot, so I couldn't take a hot shower after work. Carpet was very dingy/dirty. Definitely needs to be professionally cleaned or shampooed at least quarterly. Sheets were clean but mattress protector had lots of hair on it. I put a blanket on the couch to sit. Did not feel very comfortable. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. Told two staff members and they said it was probably steam from my shower that set it off...only problem was I was sleeping, not in shower, didn't have hot water, and steam vs smoke. Hot water would have been nice. Cleaner carpet would make the room more comfortable (lots of mystery stains). Staff that looked into the smoke alarm issue even if they couldn't find an answer would have been helpful.

Close to the highway. Plus breakfast included! The water pressure in the bathroom was very weak, and the tub would fill while you took a shower. Even though the stopper didn’t work in order to take a bath.

It was great. I enjoyed the waffles A little more room, I had my 7 and 9 year old boys and they didn’t have much room to play around in.

Came here after having a hard few days bringing the kids to enjoy them self in the pool to be told they had no pool towels we would have to use the ones from our room but then we still will run into a problem when going up to shower only to continue to say they only had one dryer one washer after having so many check outs the day before the staff couldn’t catch up due to limited machines asked if I would be able to get a refund right away was told YES I CAN DEFINITELY DO THAT NOW, did not want to help accommodate us our first time and last time the house keeper ran to back and came out with towels for the pool our room still only have two towels when there was four of us no body wash to shower just very up setting being that was our main thing was the pool

I have mixed feelings about my time spent here. First and foremost, I wish the breakfast had fresh fruit - I was very surprised during my 4-night stay when there were no oranges, apples, bananas, or any fresh produce offered. The biscuits and egg dishes offered were delicious and I appreciated the changes in meals each breakfast. Second, I was very taken aback by the carpet in the hallway on my floor. The carpet was stained from the elevator all the way to/past my room and the carpet was heavily urine-scented and sticky. This did not change during my stay; in fact, it got worse. There were also some stains on the countertop in my kitchen area that were there when I arrived as well as crumbs on the stovetop area, and the conditioner in the bathroom fell off of the wall multiple times. Overall, there are some very big things that need to be fixed, but my stay was not terrible.

Stayed here for two nights. Had an issue with not having hot water in my room. The staff was very helpful and worked diligently to find me a room with hot water (took trying 3 different rooms as it seemed to be an issue on the second floor). Overall very good experience and will stay here again in the future.

We asked for a changing room immediately. We went to a new room. There were no roaches, but under the couch there still was candy and something else there. Plus, the room was smelling of mildew from the carpet, which caused all my family to get allergies kicking in immediately. And also, it was a minor fact that no hair dryer was provided, like other hotels. We do not want to get any more trouble about asking for a changing room again. So, we were suffering for 3 nights. This was a lesson and I learned that NOT all Marriott Hotels are the best and I should do more research before renting Marriott Hotels :-( So sad that I am a member of Bonvoy Marriott Hotels too. Please consider hygiene and the environment for customers. Thank you.

Nothing special about this hotel. Rooms were spacious but shower leaked, floors were loud so any walking around you heard it. Area is right off the highway so it’s very noisy.

Loud highway noise all night. My shower was backed up. Otherwise comfortable and convenient. Don’t miss the entrance. It’s a heavy traffic location and hard to merge.

I travel and have been in customer service over 30 years. This hands down was one of the best staff I have ever had the pleasure of staying with. The room absolutely needed updating . You can tell there was. A lot of staining on the carpet and furniture. The down stairs, outside and other part of the facility I saw was beautiful. People constantly cleaning, smiling. Asking I needed anything. Great night stay.

The hotel carpet needs to be replaced. It has multiple stains and smell all over the second floor. The elevator had dirt in the corner for four days which indicates it was never cleaned or mopped until the manager came on the fifth day. The room had a smell as soon as you opened the door. No waffle maker which is shown in the pictures on the site of the hotel. The staff is nice, welcoming and accommodating and for this, this the Only reason why I stayed !

Don’t stay here a lot of breaking into your car. Night shift hotel staff are in on it. Stay here for 3 days and my truck windows were broken twice due to break ins. And no the hotel isn’t going to reimburse they don’t care they’re in on it.

I really was looking forward to staying at Towneplace plaza however when I arrived after my long drive was informed no rooms available due to rain and had to spend an hour on the phone trying to get relocated. Where I was relocated to the drive was further and inconvenient

The room was not ready until after 5pm. When got to the room, we did not have enough towels for us 4 as requested. The tables in the kitchen and side tables were dirty. They had dirty dishes in the dishwasher. We had a few plates, only one bowl and no utensils. The cabinet in the bathroom fell off and cut my knee. I went down to complain, was told that they are short on towels and have no more utensils. When we went to shower at night they had no body wash in the container on the wall. I was told the manager would have to come bring it the next day. I had to ask several times the next day for towels, trash bags, new toilet paper. Since they only clean your room every other day, even though they did not even come on that day. They have no waffle maker. The eggs were not cooked all the way and no bacon, or ham any morning of the 3 days. When we left I could not even find a manager to complain to! No one was behind the desk! I seriously wanted a refund, but since no one was there I just had to leave my keys and drive home. I will never stay at this hotel again! Do not waste your money stay anywhere else!

I was a little sad when I saw there was a parking charge.....no one said and we were not near anything that would make you think parking wasn't included with the room charges.

I'll start with the obvious, it is located right next to the Freeway. The traffic noise was very loud, all night long. Something they can change...customer service. When we checked in the staff was friendly, but they only helped one person at a time, and it became a long wait. The room was clean.

This place is filthy. No bedroom tv. LR tv did not work. Mold in corners, dirty carpet in halls with hugh spots looked like it had been flooded. Furniture had lots of spots very nasty, and the smell was moldy. I don't think the air was safe. Furniture was also tattered. Zippers on pillows were torn. This place is a mess. I knew it when I walked in the door . The classic signs were there of a poorly kept facility. Towels did appear to be clean. Tried to charge for parking but we came in from the airport by Uber. We would have left if it were not so late and we had our on car.

The stay was terrible. The service was awful. Any service you request, they don’t have people. They say they fix it, but never does. They make a list, they never act on it. The iron box tip was broken, they don’t care if it torn customer clothes. The vehicle sounds are very loud throughout night.

Great clean environment

Staff never had clean towels on time and even gave away the ones reserved for us, and even ran out of hotel keys. Room had dirty couch and appliances and also even had used paper towels with barbecue sauce and everything on it. Never will stay here again. Room even had multiple broken things and crooked shower.

The hotel itself was fine. When we first arrived it appeared to be clean and neat. The only downside to our stay was connecting to WiFi, we went to the front desk three times and they did try to help but it was just no luck. The microwave flipped a switch on our first night and never came back on the entire stay. Last and final downside was the fact that the carpet had a damp dog smell. It was so bad it woke me out of my sleep and I had to go to the store to get carpet freshener. It was horrible.

The staff at the front desk tend to not always be there, resulting in them missing calls from your room or not attending to you when you come to the desk. Had to keep calling or asking for room service when I should have been receiving it everyday. Towels and bed sheets had stains on them. Breakfast is terrible except for the cereal. And to put icing on the cake, my cousin, who was staying with me, got her car broken into at the parking lot. We called the police to file a report and it just so happened that the hotels camera wasn’t working so police could not see what might have taken place. The manager ignored us and we had to go to him to ask if there would be an update when the cameras were fixed, he said yes, so did another receptionist the next morning when I asked, it has been over a month at the time of this review and we have not gotten an update. Additionally, I did not receive a full refund of the additional amount they charge you upon checking in, which they’re supposed to refund if there are no incidents. I made no damages and there were no incidents asides for the car break in and us alerting the manager that his staff is not at the front desk and wouldn’t send room service after I asked, so from my understanding then I didn’t receive the refund because of one or two of these situations, which were none of my own fault.
