The Westin Houston, Memorial City

Perfect location!

Our room was exactly what you hope for after a long day—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The Heavenly Bed absolutely lives up to its reputation. The room was peaceful despite being in one of Houston's busiest areas, and every detail felt thoughtfully designed. The location is another huge advantage. Being connected to Memorial City Mall made everything effortless. Whether we wanted coffee, dinner, shopping, or simply a walk without battling Houston traffic, it was all just steps away. The rooftop pool was a relaxing bonus, and the fitness center was clean and well-equipped. What impressed me most was the consistency. Every employee we encountered, from the front desk to housekeeping, made us feel genuinely welcome. Great hotels aren't just about beautiful buildings—they're about the people, and this team delivered. The only minor downside is that parking adds to the overall cost of the stay, but that's common for hotels of this caliber and certainly didn't diminish our experience.

The wifi was non-existent in our room. I had to go to the front desk to get a shower cap and the vanity kits in the bathroom were not provided as is done in most expensive hotels. We had to pay for the electric charging which is also complimentary at most hotels that charge $500 per night.

The place is clean and tidy. The room is spacious, with a coffee maker and refrigerator. The bed is fantastic. It really makes a difference for a good night's sleep. The location is spectacular for someone without a car. You just walk across the skyline directly to the Memorial Mall. But the best part was the attention I received from the security manager. When he saw I had a lot of luggage to handle, he helped me very kindly. Maybe the shower water pressure. But, it was still nice. Oh, and there´s some sort of a huge machine noise. But, maybe it´s because it´s next to the hospital. I still love this place!

The room was nice, the price was steep and I only paid that amount because at the time of payment the site said it was going to get upgraded, upon arrival the front desk didn’t upgrade the room. They lied and said someone checked out late instead of telling the truth, which was they didn’t want to upgrade me because they sold the room at a higher price. I don’t like to be lied to so I will never use this site or a Westin hotel again.

Great experience at this hotel. From the moment we pulled up, the entire staff was so welcoming and friendly. Diego at front desk went above and beyond to welcome us to the property. Our room was large and very comfortable. Check out with Alexis was also perfect.

Property very clean and well kept. Quiet area. Easy access to shopping and dining. Area felt very safe.

The hot tub would not heat and the pool was not adequately heated. Chose this hotel, because of the unique pool area. We could not use either of these features. Very disappointing.

Everything was easy!

The pool is a highlight: quiet, clean, and set on the rooftop with relaxing skyline views of the city. The beds and pillows are always plush and incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. It’s a wonderful place for both adults and kids to enjoy. My family loves staying here, and we’ll continue booking at the Westin Memorial City whenever we’re in Houston. Highly recommended!

This is definitely not a 4-star hotel in its current state. The staff was exceptional, however, the rooms are dated and it’s clear they need renovation/ improvements. When we checked into our room, the first thing we noticed was the room had a horrible stench. We couldn’t find out where it was coming from. We ended up getting switched rooms three different times, but the smell still seemed to linger from only inside the rooms. The sheets were clearly old, and didn’t smell clean and weren’t comfortable at all. Our stay overall felt like a 3-star hotel, but we paid for 4-star hotel experience. Sadly, we will not be recommending this hotel until they decide to remodel and replace their bedding.

I really enjoyed how everything was super close the mall the restaurants, I love hmart and 99 ranch market and they were so close and it was so nice to not have to drive to far. I was with my friends and we all enjoyed the area everything was nice and clean and quiet they had good parking there was a lot of nice restaurants around. I'm a Houston local so I def enjoyed my experience staff was nice they even let me check in early which was great. The only thing I would say that I was disappointed about was that the roof top pool the glass was dirty so it kinda made the experience less enjoyable but overall it was still good.

Staff misguided me when I asked help to find my way to parking garage.

I've stayed at the Westin before and it was a good experience. I don't know what they've changed, but this time around it was an AMAZING experience. From the time I was greeted at the front desk until I checked out everyone and everything was perfect. I had zero issues during my stay, which in this day and age is unheard of! I will definitely be back to this location and consider The Westin when I go on vacation as my #1 option. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, you won't be disappointed.

We stayed to get some shopping and planning done. It was PERFECT

I ate dinner and breakfast while there and it was exceptional. Will certainly stay here again. But I will bring my own pillow!

As soon as I entered, I instantly felt a sophisticated and cozy vibe, ideal for relaxing after a tiring day of meetings. The room resembled my own private oasis, a peaceful retreat from the pressures of the day. And that bed? It was heavenly. What truly amazed me was the meticulous attention to design. It had a sleek and contemporary feel, while also being welcoming and comfortable. It was as if they understood precisely what a business traveler like myself requires.

Customer service was excellent with the exception of the front desk staff not allowing us to use our ticket validation that was given to us by the hosts of an event we attended.

The hotel is just fine but given the high price, value for money was just not there. I stayed because it was the conference venue and I was returning from a long business trip to Asia but would not stay again. Also I left a nice blazer, called and was told it was not there but there is no other place it could have been (it was white and I probably missed it because the bedding is white - my bad here.
